Just like a Saturday Night’s Main Event from the 1980’s; we’re starting with the Main Event first as Maffew bestows some more FMW upon on us. We’ve got the prototypical 3 Minute Warning in action, Daisuke Ikeda slumming it in khakis and Fuyuki tagging with Hayabusa for a visual that makes it look like a crazy uncle is taking his equally crazy nephew out for a day in Rhyl. Next up we’ve got Niz reviewing the latest edition of Collision; the show that asks the question “what if WCW Thunder made roughly 88% more sense but was in-turn roughly 57% less interesting?”. We’ve got the Triangle of Madness continuing to be a thorn in the side of the AEW Women’s Division and Speedball Mike Bailey getting to be in the Main Event (don’t tell MVP). Niz is one of the premier reviewers on the entire site so you’re going to want to both read and treasure this

We’ll then head over to Scott Herrin who has some more Reality of Wrestling for us, which is Booker T’s promotion (and also possibly an underground SEGA Saturn smuggling ring* where you can acquire a boxed copy of Die Hard: Arcade without having to sell a kidney first). Rock Star Gary and his dreaded gifs of mild discomfort is back with some more World Class from 1988, as the company stubbornly refuses to just go away and keeps making us watch Main Events with Bill Irwin in them. JOSHI BOYZ ASSEMBLE as it’s time for some more Joshi Spotlight from Jabroniville as he takes a look at the year 2001, a year that featured plenty of people kicking one another and then dropping them on their head with punishing throws and suplexes, so it was a real riot all around and you can read about it by clicking the link below!

Logan continues his journey into 1994 WWF with another episode of Wrestling Challenge, the wrestling show equivalent of starting your day with a plain slice of brown bread where you’ve only be able to toast it on one side because the grill isn’t working correctly. It’s still technically breakfast, but it’s not very fulfilling or exciting. Thankfully Logan’s review is better than the show itself, so give the link a click

WWE’s flagship show, Raw, was reviewed once again by Kat featuring Becky Lynch defending the Women’s Intercontinental Title against Maxxine Dupri (Yes, THAT Maxxine Dupri) whilst Seth Rollins’ Heel faction destroy some babyfaces. Fun for all the family!

Garthlets us back into the Fan-Cam Files for a trip to Johnstown in the July of 1987. This is the most C Show of all C shows, as tag team wrestlers face off in singles matches and then we get a big ol’ Battle Royale to close things out. Read this and think of the poor 6 year old in the crowd who didn’t understand the concept that just because it was a WWF show didn’t mean you’d get to see Hulk Hogan or Randy Savage

ROH was actually kept within a reasonable running time this week, as Tony Khan appeared to show some form of mercy to poor Garth, who continues to soldier on with these reviews with his usual wit and expert analysis. Mike Fitzgerald (the bloke what is writing this) reviewed an episode of WWF Superstars from June 1992, featuring the legend that is Graig Brown and the in-ring debut of Nailz, the violent convict that WWF hired even though he literally threatened to brutally attack a member of their roster the second he got there, at which point he then brutally attacked said roster member as promised. For someone who upholds law and order; Big Boss Man didn’t seem too aware of his legal rights with that one. I’d be lawyering up ASAP

Sticking with WWF Superstars; Logan jumps ahead to April 1994 with an episode of the show that features Razor Ramon taking on Adam Bomb in a match where both competitors are technically “stars” (you can argue the point with Adam Bomb I guess) so it isn’t just a run of the mill squash. Phrederic takes a break from reviewing Marigold to bring us an All Japan show, featuring Shiro Koshinaka still somehow getting in a ring in 2025. He must be held together by sticky tape and blue-tack at this stage so it’s impressive that he can even climb into the ring, even if it is to do very little.
