Well, we have been Bound for Glory for a while now and we are almost there with Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt, Gia Miller and McKenzie Miller in the car.  We have one more episode to go, though, in Edmonton. Besides being the home of our fearless leader, Scott I, Edmonton is also the home of West Edmonton Mall, the world’s largest mall until 2004. It had, at one point, the world’s largest indoor roller coaster, the Mindbender. We won’t do anything mind-bending here, just engage in some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

And now, the end is near, and so I face the final schmozapalooza brawl. Welcome, everyone, to the last edition of the Memphis review of 1987 brought to you by the Tubi streaming service. This edition focuses on one of my favorite underrated teams, Badd Company (or, as they were known in Memphis, Prime Time) – Pat Tanaka and Paul Diamond.  We get exciting tag team action and the usual over-the-top brawls with Lance Russell and Dave Brown in tow and the totally Tubi-lar action all comes, as the song goes..All the Way From Memphis. Shall we? We shall.

We are mere days away from an Invading Showdown this Tuesday on NXT but we have other business to resolve; like tonight’s taping of Impact, which, again, emanates from Edmonton…Alberta, Canada. Edmonton is known as the “Festival City” so let’s have us a grappling festival and help ourselves to some Impactful Discourse, shall we? We shall.

Okay, we are in Edmonton….Alberta, Canada (in Lance Storm voice) for Victory Road 2025. Will we be Edmonton Expo Center. This is TNA’s inaugural event in Edmonton. Edmonton, which gave Warren Moon his big break in football and is not the home of rats given an eradication program in the 1950’s and 60’s. Well, they won’t have to worry about rats as we start the final trip from Edmonton to Lowell, MA (which, sadly, has rats) and Bound For Glory. On the trip, let’s pass the time with some Impactful Discourse, shall we? We shall.

Okay, we are less than a day away until we head to the Great White North via Victory Road. But first, we have one more cycle to cover in Minneapolis, the home of Charles Schultz and the Peanuts statues. Let’s hope TNA doesn’t move the football out from us and maybe, we’ll get a visit from the Great Pumpkin. We are spared Miss Othmar and instead, we get Tom Hanifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary. So, grab your security blanket, play some Beethoven for ambiance and get ready for some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

Ooookay, we’re back and getting ready for another round of exciting Memphis action from 1987 (by and large, explanation forthcoming.) Lance Russell and Dave Brown describe the action. In this edition, we have the beta test of the Hot Ones Challenge gone horribly amuck, a fallacious Texas history lesson, we learn the intricacies of a “massacre match,” new tag team champs via tournament and the totally Tubi-lar fun that can be described as Humongous. And, it can only be found (as the song goes) …All the Way From Memphis. Shall we? We shall.

We’re a week away from Victory but for now we’re feeling Minnesota at the Armory in Minneapolis. And like the great TV show based here, who’s is going to make it on their own? The only way to find out is to engage in some Impactful Discourse? Shall we? We shall.

It’s bell time and here we goooo, gang. It’s another look at Memphis Wrestling from 1987 courtesy of the Tubi Streaming Service. I have some questions; do you like the rock and roll music?  Do you like the music videos? How about a singing cowboy, per se? How about some great announcing from Lance Russell and Dave Brown? We have all those and the usual litany of insane brawls and totally Tubi-lar action (as the song goes) All The Way From Memphis! Shall We? We shall.

We stay in Minneapolis for another week of TNA Impact Wrestling. Fun factoid, the first mail order catalog was created in Minneapolis by Richard W. Sears in 1886. I know four people who won’t be mailing it in is Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rewholdt, Gia Miller and McKenzie Miller. General Mills Cereal also got started in Minneapolis. So, you can thank your Lucky Stars that we won’t have any Trix today, just some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

Okay, everyone, it has been an eventful and stressful week so, let’s say we take a look at (by and large) Memphis Wrestling from 1987 via the Tubi Streaming Channel. Why by and large? We break the time barrier and actually go to 1989 and 1986 for a part of this review. But, we do get some WWE Hall of Famers on this show, an improbable heel turn and, of course, all the totally Tubi-lar chaos and mayhem one can expect (as the song goes)  All the Way From Memphis. Shall we? We shall.

We are still bound for Bound for Glory on Victory Road as TNA Impact finds itself at the Armory in Minneapolis (it’s a northern Armory – not THE Northern Armory, that’s later in the show.) Fun factoid, the Armory was used to shoot Prince’s “1999” video and Aerosmith’s “Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.” Well, we aren’t missing Tom Hanifan, Matthew Rewholdt, Gia Miller and McKenzie Miller because they’re here and you’re here. So, let’s have some Impactful Discourse, shall we? We shall.

Okay, it’s been eventful week around these parts. We are still in Baltimore, Maryland on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. In honor of famous alums Duff Goldman and Kathleen Turner, let’s see what baking in the oven and who is winning the war of the roses. The action is so hot, it’s generating body heat. Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rewholdt, Gia Miller and McKenzie Mitchell are the frosting on the cake of an action packed two-hours as we engage in some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

We are all here at the Chesapeake Areana on the campus of University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Fun factoid, UMBC was the first number 16 seed to beat a number one seed in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship when the Retrievers beat the University of Viriginia. But that was then and this is now; so, let’s not be cavalier about it and let’s get ready for some Impactful Discourse, shall we? We shall.

So, let’s saunter forward with our look at Memphis Wrestling from 1987 on the Tubi streaming channel. We have World Tag Team champs (in two promotions,)  acts of bravery and not one, but two songs from one of the greatest female recording artists in history. So, let’s enjoy some totally Tubi-lar old school wrestling (like the song goes) All the way from Memphis. Shall we? We shall.

So, here we are in Baltimore, MD, will Trick Williams, like the cheese, stand alone or will Moose come at the king and not miss as we’re building something from Bound For Glory and  We’re Building It From Scratch. It’s another week in Reality of Wrestling, once again from the Walker Texas Lawyer Arena in Texas City, Texas. This week we got a familiar face on the show; we get a match (oof) social media stars and a very entertaining women’s title match.  So, with that in mind, let’s head to Texas City,  sit a spell and keep it real. Shall We? We shall.

It’s time to review the second half of the first volume of the Best of Memphis 1987 retrospective on the Tubi streaming channel. Fun factoid, the first US Open tennis tournament was held in Rhode Island (ergo, the Tennis Hall of Fame is in Newport.)
