We stay in Minneapolis for another week of TNA Impact Wrestling. Fun factoid, the first mail order catalog was created in Minneapolis by Richard W. Sears in 1886. I know four people who won’t be mailing it in is Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rewholdt, Gia Miller and McKenzie Miller. General Mills Cereal also got started in Minneapolis. So, you can thank your Lucky Stars that we won’t have any Trix today, just some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

Okay, everyone, it has been an eventful and stressful week so, let’s say we take a look at (by and large) Memphis Wrestling from 1987 via the Tubi Streaming Channel. Why by and large? We break the time barrier and actually go to 1989 and 1986 for a part of this review. But, we do get some WWE Hall of Famers on this show, an improbable heel turn and, of course, all the totally Tubi-lar chaos and mayhem one can expect (as the song goes)  All the Way From Memphis. Shall we? We shall.

We are still bound for Bound for Glory on Victory Road as TNA Impact finds itself at the Armory in Minneapolis (it’s a northern Armory – not THE Northern Armory, that’s later in the show.) Fun factoid, the Armory was used to shoot Prince’s “1999” video and Aerosmith’s “Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.” Well, we aren’t missing Tom Hanifan, Matthew Rewholdt, Gia Miller and McKenzie Miller because they’re here and you’re here. So, let’s have some Impactful Discourse, shall we? We shall.

Okay, it’s been eventful week around these parts. We are still in Baltimore, Maryland on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. In honor of famous alums Duff Goldman and Kathleen Turner, let’s see what baking in the oven and who is winning the war of the roses. The action is so hot, it’s generating body heat. Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rewholdt, Gia Miller and McKenzie Mitchell are the frosting on the cake of an action packed two-hours as we engage in some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

Okay, Scott Herrin here with another exciting edition of Memphis Wrestling from 1987 via the Tubi streaming service. Sitting next to me is my broadcast partner, Rio De Golden Lab/Border Collie mix. Rio, what do you think of the action we have upcoming?

They don’t call him the best wrestling analyst for nothing. So, let’s get ready for some totally Tubi-lar classic Memphis tag team action, titles up for grabs and a waaay over the top brawl with Jerry Lawler, Bam Bam Bigelow, Tommy Rich and Austin Idol. All that and more as it comes (as the song goes)All the Way From Memphis. Shall we? We shall.

We emerge from Emergence and make our gradual climb for we are Bound For Glory. Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rewholdt are here. Gia Miller and McKenzie Mitchell are here. We are all here at the Chesapeake Areana on the campus of University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Fun factoid, UMBC was the first number 16 seed to beat a number one seed in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship when the Retrievers beat the University of Viriginia. But that was then and this is now; so, let’s not be cavalier about it and let’s get ready for some Impactful Discourse, shall we? We shall.

So, let’s saunter forward with our look at Memphis Wrestling from 1987 on the Tubi streaming channel. We have World Tag Team champs (in two promotions,)  acts of bravery and not one, but two songs from one of the greatest female recording artists in history. So, let’s enjoy some totally Tubi-lar old school wrestling (like the song goes) All the way from Memphis. Shall we? We shall.

So, here we are in Baltimore, MD, will Trick Williams, like the cheese, stand alone or will Moose come at the king and not miss as we’re building something from Bound For Glory and  We’re Building It From Scratch. It’s another week in Reality of Wrestling, once again from the Walker Texas Lawyer Arena in Texas City, Texas. This week we got a familiar face on the show; we get a match (oof) social media stars and a very entertaining women’s title match.  So, with that in mind, let’s head to Texas City,  sit a spell and keep it real. Shall We? We shall.

It’s time to review the second half of the first volume of the Best of Memphis 1987 retrospective on the Tubi streaming channel. We have title changes, future stars, past stars and an incredible promo in store. So, let’s enjoy some totally Tubi-lar old school wrestling (like the song goes) All the way from Memphis. Shall we? We shall.

We are a week away from Emergence and as we continue to emerge toward Bound For Glory. We are still in Kingston, RI on campus at the University of Rhode Island. Fun factoid, the first US Open tennis tournament was held in Rhode Island (ergo, the Tennis Hall of Fame is in Newport.) So, let’s watch Tom Hannifan and Michael Rewholdt volley barbs at each other and see who hits an ace and who’s at fault tonight as we engage in some Impactful Discourse? Shall we? We shall.

Amongst the writing beats I have undertaken is Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling. We get the weekly broadcasts here (as the shows are usually taped in nearby Texas City.) We are at the Walker Texas Lawyer Arena.  I will be covering the show to show who is up and coming and might be the next Roxanne Perez. So, let’s say we sit a spell and keep it real. Shall We? We shall.

So, after conferring with our fearless leader, Scott the First, I am going to expand my horizons. Whilst watching WWE Evolve, I fell down a rabbit divot (later the full hole) and realized how much wrestling is on the TUBI channel. I decided to review some of it and share it with you with some Totally Tubi-lar Wrestling from 1987. So, let’s review some wrestling like Mott the Hoople (originally) and Contraband (cover) sang…All the Way From Memphis.

Once again we are at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI. Fun factoid, Kingston was known as “Little Rest” until 1826. And much like 199 years ago, there’s no time for a little rest now as we engage in some Impactful Discourse, shall we? We shall.

We start to search the rubble that was Slammiversary for bright spots to start the slow cook to Bound for Glory in October. We are in Kingston, RI on the University of Rhode Island campus, the alma mater of NBA stars Cuttino Mobley and Lamar Odom. And like Odom’s nickname, let’s see who has “The Goods” to right this ship. The best way to do that is through Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

So, we come to this, TNA’s Slammiversary from Long Island at the UBS Arena. I spent my early childhood at the old Nassau Coliseum watching the New York Nets.  But enough reminiscing, we have a Pay-Per-View/Premium Live Event to watch and some Impactful Discourse to cover. So, let’s get to it, shall we? We shall.

We are a mere three days away from Slammiversary and to quote De La Soul “The Stakes Is High.” We have inter-promotional battles going on and intriguing feuds burgeoning. Do you know what else we have burgeoning? Some Impactful Discourse. Let’s engage in some, shall we? We shall.
