TNA Impact Review – 12.04.25

Okay, ‘tis the season and oh, boy, did we get some news this week with TNA moving to AMC in January. If you didn’t, fret not; we’ll give it to you ad infinitum. And what better way to get to our new destination than with Full Sails as we get our last taped matches from ye olde home of NXT. Also, we get Final Resolution tomorrow/today/December 5 (well the Pay-Per-View.) So, let’s start our final voyages on AXS and engage in some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

To show the eepic nature of this (as with most Hollywood productions now,) we start with the tried and true slow version of a classic sung by a female – in this case, “In the Air Tonight” by Phil Collins. Sadly, the song is autotuned. A litany of Impact stars makes their way through a dilapidated structure in sepia tone. They all gather in one part of the structure and place the box down and it starts to glow as everyone looks at it. Santana undoes the box and we hear the whisper “AMC.” And get the hype for the move to AMC.

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt continue to hype the move. But, before we start packing…

Previously on Impact, we get Santana’s great promo from two weeks ago, featuring his battle for the title and sobriety. He declares war on the MWO before getting a shot at Frankie Kazarian. We also get highlights of JDC and Eric Young. JDC’s victory ensures a title shot with Kazarian at Tinal Resolution.

Home Town Man vs. Brooks Jensen (with Lexis King in tow)

The fans do love them local heroes, especially ones adorned in Shaquille O’Neal’s Magic jersey. Jensen comes in to a – well, we’ll say muted response. They lock up with Jensen getting the initial advantage. Jensen issued a charge in the corner and HTM met with him and uppercut. They do the same spot. HTM tried the 10 punch corner spot but Jensen carried him to the middle of the ring but missed a charge as HTM tripped him. Jensen was draped on the ropes, so NOW HTM hit the 10 punch combo complete with the Dustin Rhodes sliding uppercut on the floor. HTM got two with a crossbody block off the top rope.

A Hometown Slice is reversed as Jensen clothesline hi in the corner and hit a vertical suplex to stem the tide. Jensen wen on the offense and focused his attack on the back by dropping his weight on it and elbowdrops. He slugged away on HTM on the ropes as King taunted HTM from the floor. Jensen also got a one-armed backbreaker for a two count. Jensen continued to attack the back with his knee and then hit an uppercut.

Jensen dropped a series of knees to the back of HTM but a third attempt hit canvas. HTM tried a body slam but couldn’t hold Jensen and Jensen fell on him for a two-count. Jensen continued to attack the back and hit a bearhug. HTM tried to fight out of it but Jensen held firm. Eventually, HTM did break loose with a bell calp and a sires of clotheslines off the ropes and a flying forearm did drop a charging Jensen off the ropes. NOW, HTM got the full bodyslam and the “hometown elbow” got two. HTM continued to attack and hit the Hometown Slice but King got on the apron to distract HTM. HTM hit the ropes and dove between the ropes to clothesline King. HTM got on the apron but King distracted him again with his cane. This bought Jensen enough time to recover and hit a running heel kick to secure the victory.

Post Match: Jensen and King celebrated in the ring as we go to commercials. Or, on the TNA Plus app an ad for Three plus hours of Samoa Joe Classics on TNAPlus. This match featured current TNA World Champion Frankie Kazarian.

We return with…(sigh) the Treehouse with the Rascalz. We get all four Rascalz with Desmond Xavier (formerly Wes Lee.) Wentz got a call from Miguel and asked who Xavier is (get it, because they’re all right there….) There is discussion about name changes from “the office” and we get some Order four talk and Wes who we are ordering for? (Get it because the name.) Do they still uh, and yeah, we all love the uh…stoner metaphors ensue. And then we get some talk about Tasha Steelz who looks like Steel according to Miguel and Desmond said she could steal her heart.

We come back to the Iinspiration heading to ringside. They ebulliently bounce to the ring, STRUCK THE POSES and we get aunt dancing. McKay and we get their introductions. Lee wanted to have a chit-chat with the fans. They had two teams to deal at Turning Point and they did that. They wanted to be here as TNA Knockouts Tag Team titlists; an accolade they are proud of, Lee said. Lee said as they head to 2026, they want other teams to shoot their shot and step up, step back or step aside for the to face the Iinspiration.

Suddenly, the lights go dark and we get Tessa Blanchard and Victoria Crawford. Blanchard has the mic (thankfully.) Blanchard could not distinguish between the two but it doesn’t matter. At Turning Point, they were ready to face the tandem but Blanchard was not cleared to wrestle – it was a medical thing. How about this? Blanchard suggests a match between the two. Before the Iinspiration can respond, Mila Moore attacked them from behind. Crawford got in the ring and aided Moore. Moore ran her shoulder into Lee in the corner and Crawford held McKay for Moore to boot her into the abdomen – Crawford reciprocated with Lee. Blanchard climbed into the ring and the trio celebrated until the Iinspiration recovered and the heels beat a hasty retreat; except, the champs grabbed Crawford and Moore.

The champs beat on Moore and Crawford in the corner. Lee ran Moore into the knee of McKay and hit a double gourdbuster on Crawford. They finished with the Iidolizer on Moore. McKay and Lee celebrated and gestured at the heels who struggled to gather themselves in the rampway.

Backstage, Santino Marella got the troops fired up for the man event – the eight man tag match featuring the Hardys, Maclin and Alexander vs. the MWO’s King, High Ryze and Stacks. We also get some hype for Santana vs. Robert Stone. Also, we get Mustafa Ali vs. Trey Miguel but next we get the match to determine who faces Lei Ying Lee and Final Resolution. We also get some commercials next on TV and an ad for Three Plus hours of Christian Cage classic matches on TNAPlus. The ad featured Jarrett El Kabonging Cage.

We get more hype for the AMC move and get some NXT Highlights from Tuesday’s NXT main event and some hype regarding NXT Deadline’s Iron Survivor Match (featuring Leon Slater and former TNA star Joe Hendry.)

Dani Luna vs. Xia Brookside (title shot opportunity at stake)

Luna headed to the ring first as we get some inset action of the matches last week to determine the combatants. Luna is out first and gets a decent pop. Brookside gets a modestly good pop and adorned in the Union Jack and England flags gear.

Brookside did get the crowd riled but Luna powered Brookside to the mat twice. Brookside got an advantage with a side headlock but couldn’t get the takeover as Luna centered herself. Brookside eventually got the advantage as she climbed the turnbuckles to give her the boots for the takeover. Luna, tried to get a quick pin but eventually powered out of the headlock. Brookside got an armlock and wrung the arm. She held on the arm even during a Luna attempted bodyslam.

Luna did get the advantage with a body block off the ropes but a charge to the corner resulted in a Brookside boot hurincanrana and a dropkick. Luna blocked a body press but missed an elbow drop. Brookside hit another one-legged dropkick as Luna headed to the rampway for a respite. Brookside hit the topes but missed a slide,. She did connect with a punch.

One they got back in the ring; Luna got the advantage after blocking a flying headscissor into a backbreaker for a two count. Luna rested in the and then stalked Brookside. Luna attacked the back and choked Brookside by standing on her in the corner.

Luna then focused her attack on the left leg and she whipped Brookside’s leg to the mat and stretched her leg along the ropes, finishing with a dropkick on it and landed a boot to the head to drop Brookside to the mat. Luna continued to attack the leg. Brookside tried to rally but Luna hit an overhead suplex and then a sliding clothesline off the ropes for a two count.

Luna continued to attack the leg with a one-armed grapevine leg lock and then slammed the left leg on the mat. Luna continued to maul Brookside as we go to commercials (or another ad for Three Plus Hours of Samoa Joe on TNAPlus, this match featured Joe against AEW superstar Bobby Lashley.)

When we return, Brookside tried to rally but Luna threw her hard into the turnbuckles for a two-count. Luna pounded on Brookside in the corner and another hard through into the turnbuckles and Brookside crumbled to the mat. Brookside arose and tried to fight off Luna with a series of elbows and forearms. Brookside got the advantage with a series of clotheslines, but still selling her leg. Brookside limped around the ring but managed to hit a running elbow on Luna in the corner. She also hit the Broken Wings (Meteora) in the corner. Brookside got a flying cross bodyblock off the top rope for a two count.

Brookside grabbed Luan but Luan powered out of it however, another block of a flying clothesline ended in a choke hold and a near submission of Luna as Brookside added extra pressure by elbowing the back. Luna tried to regain the advantage by straightening up but Brookside countered with a Russian Legsweep and an armbar submission. She also started to engage in SMALL JOINT MANIUPLATION.
Luna, though, got to her feet and carried Brookside with her for a Buckle Bomb. Luna hit a slingshot Blue Thunder Bomb for two-and-a-fraction. Luna looked incredulous but continued to beat on Brookside. Luna went to the floor and grabbed a chair and the chain from last week. She wrapped it around her fist but Indi Hartwell ran to the ring and slugged Luna, preventing her from using it. Hartwell grabbed the chain and slugged Luna (the referee threw the chair to the floor.) Brookside took the time to recover and waited for Luna to get back to the ring and grabbed a small package for the victory.

Post Match: Brookside celebrated in the ring as Luna struggled to get her to her feet. Hartwell looked on from the rampway.

We go backstage (and maybe prematurely) to Lee celebrating Brookside’s victory (she said “now” to someone offstage.) Her first defense of her title will be at Final Resolution against her tag team partner and best friend. Lee respect her like she does Jordynne Grace. After the match, they will shake hands, why? Because they are Angel Warriors.

We go to the Bioflex Injury Report: Santana is still dealing with an UCL injury but is cleared for action although being monitored by officials Blanchard suffered an upper body injury but is medically cleared. Hartwell suffered a contusion from her match two week ago against Luna but is cleared. Who isn’t cleared is Zachary Wentz and Desmond Xavier who were laid out by Order Four two weeks ago.

We get the rest of the card tonight and Mike Santana…after the break. During the break, we get commercials or we get another ad for the Christian Cage classic matches package on TNAPlus (the shown match excerpt is Cage’s match with Kurt Angle.)

When we come back; hey, did you hear TNA is moving to AMC. It’s true. It’s a new era as they start the taping cycle in Dallas.

Mike Santana vs. Robert Stone

“You are officially under review,” starts Stone’s music as he does flexes and struts down to ringside. Santana is next and heads through the fans at Full Sail (would that make them Full Sailors??) Santana gets a monster pop as he makes way to the ring. However, Stone did not wait for the bell and attacked Santana on the floor. Stone continued to beat on Santan until Santana ran him into the corner. However, Stone evaded a Santana charge and the former champ ran into the ringpost as Hannifan and Rehwoldt mentioned Santana’s injury.

Stone stalked Santana and badmouthed him. Stone whipped him into the ropes but Santana stopped his momentum, kicked Stone and hit the Spin the Block for the victory.

Post match: Santana has a mic – let’s listen as he crouches to Stone. One down, it’s Stone’s job to let his guys knows that he’s on demon time and Papi’s home. Let them know. He placed the mic on Stone’s prone body as the he soaked in the adulation.

“Message sent” Rehwoldt said.

Speaking of messages, we get a hype package for Full Sail University, a place that teaches the skills to fuel the entertainment industry. We get more mic action after the break with the First Class Penthouse with special guest, Leon Slater.

We get Kazarian in the parking lot asking how JDC has the audacity to challenge Kazarian for his first title reign. Adding to that, JDC announced his retirement; which is the trendy thing to do in wrestling as Kazarian dropped John Cena’s and AJ Style’s names as retirees. Those guys had runs and will be missed. They are stars, JDC wouldn’t be a star even if he was thrown by a ninja. His Final Resolution is to end JDC’s miserable opening match/mid card run. The King has spoken.

First Class Penthouse:

We go back ringside with A J Francis and Rich Swann and a brand-new First-Class Penthouse. Francis re-introduces himself and rushes through Swann’s introduction. We have an amazing show as we have Leon Slater the X-Division Champion. He is the champion because (and glances toward Swann,) Swann couldn’t get the job done.

Nevertheless, it is a celebration, so let’s give Slater a round of applause. Slater headed down to ringside with his normal theme (not the NXT one.) As he got in the ring, Francis said this episode is brought to us by his new album, Dear Summer, now streaming on all platforms. He thanked Slater for being here and for giving Francis a chance to win the title at Final Resolution.

Slater said Francis is doing all the talking but has horrible breath and should brush his teeth. Francis checked his breath. Swann graciously offered him a stick of gum as a “brush your teeth” chant emerged. Slater doesn’t understand why he is “chatting him” as he does and why he talks to Swann like he is not talented in his own right. Slater brought up Swann was a world champ before Francis even got there. Francis said he spoke for Swann and all the fans there that if Francis was there when Swann was the champ, that spot would be reserved for him.

Slater asked the crowd if Francis spoke for them – he did not. But, Slater saw how the Francis’ mind works. He thinks he is going to walk into El Paso and, God Forbid, try to dive on him because we all remember what happened in the past.

“Great joke from three years ago when you were twelve,” Francis responded.

Slater continued that Francis thinks will walk out with the title. What will happen is Slater will take his hand and stick up his…wait, wrong guy…he is going to brush it up against his bald head and walk out as the X-Division champ. Francis got in Slater’s face and said he put people in the ground for less. However, this is the joyous occasion; so, he gave Slater a glass and Francis grabbed one of his for a toast. Francis drinks his but Slater’s is empty. Francis asked isn’t he 16-years-old and can’t drink anyway. He swats the glass away and gets in Slater’s face again.
Slater had enough and started to slug Francis. Francis grabbed Slater for a Down Payment but Slater escaped. Francis launched the table and clobbered Slater.

Francis took off his jacket and gave it to Swann. He got ready and asked for the jacket. Swann reluctantly did. Francis choked Slater with the jacket and Swann got ready to hit Slater with it but dropped the belt. Slater confronted Swann and said he has to do it himself. Slater tried to rally but Francis grabbed him and NOW we get the Down Payment as Swann sat in the corner.

“If it doesn’t make dollars, it doesn’t make sense and all I ever make is money, money, money,” Francis said holding the title over his head and his foot on Slater’s chest.

Hey, do we want to know something?Alisha Edwards is with Myers, Eddie Edwards and Moose. They built the System around family and we have so much to do – they are looking to the future who will measure up to the System. Eddie said no matter who it is they must always – trust the System. Ali and Trey Miguel are next.

Actually, commercials are next or it’s another ad for the Samoa Joe’s Greatest Moments package on TNAPlus. It’s another match against Angle. And, it’s more hype for the January 15 AMC debut of TNA in Dallas.

We go backstage to JDC who talked about all the years and miles traveling. He is not nervous but is actually hurt and angry about Kazarian’s early comments. He doesn’t want to be that guy but how Wrestlemania’s has Kazarian participated? They trained in the same place. Kazarian crossed the line by going personal and attacking his wife. JDC played off the sound of a motorcycle crossing and said we’re not going to cut and keep rolling. What he cares about is his brain, body and wife. He wants to leave the business better than when he left.

Mustafa Ali (with the Extra Servicemen) vs. Trey Miguel

The rest of Order Four (and the Rascalz) are barred from ringside, ergo just the Servicemen for Ali. Miguel gets a decent pop from the crowd. The two measured each other as Ali badmouthed Miguel as the two locked hands but Miguel got the upper hand after a series of reversals and an armdrag. He celebrated with jumping jacks.

Ali got a near fall as he hit the ropes and he caught Miguel in a leapfrog and hit a sunset flip. After another run of the ropes, Ali tried for another sunset flip but Miguel rolled out of it and hit a seated dropkick. Miguel also managed to hit a matric dodge of a drop, reverse kick and showboated in front of Ali who seethed on the mat.

Ali got the upper hand after a back elbow off the ropes. Ali chopped Miguel in the corner and threw Miguel into the corner. However, Miguel reversed it, climbed to the top and tried a reverse body press. Ali caught him but Miguel hit a crucifix bomb for two. Ali went to the floor and Miguel followed him, only for Ali to chop Miguel. Miguel tried to whip Ali to the corner but Ali slid through the ring and landed on his feet. Miguel tried the same but Ali caught him and hit a draping DDT to the floor.

Ali threw Miguel into the ring and grabbed the chinlock. Miguel made it to his feet but Ali hit a bell clap. However, Miguel recovered and reversed a powerbomb into an enziguri. Ali answered him with a long, delayed vertical suplex. Ali posed in front of the crowd and got ready to hit his rolling neckbreaker between the ropes but Miguel evaded and hit a moonsault off the ropes for a two count.

Miguel rallied and caught a charging Ali with a back elbow and then got on the top turnbuckle for a missile dropkick. Miguel got the crowd riled and – after a reverse whip to the ropes – hit a hurincanrana off the ropes for a two count. Ali stemmed the tide with a jawbreaker and hit the ropes. Ali tried a springboard handspring move but Miguel moved out of the way. Ali backflipped over Miguel and charged Miguel. Miguel dodged Ali but Ali slid between the ropes and onto his feet. However, Miguel hit a handspring kick to drop Ali to the floor. Miguel then dove between the ropes and hit a tornado DDT on the floor.

Miguel got Ali in the ring, got to the top turnbuckle and hit a Meteora for two. Miguel continued to slug Ali on the mat but Ali momentarily got the position by grabbing Miguel’s hands. Miguel, though, sprung to his feet and got to the ropes. He leapt off the second rope into a Canadian Destroyer for two-and-a-fraction.

Miguel got to his feet and climbed to the top turnbuckle. Ali ducked just in the nick of time and Miguel crashed to the mat with another Meteora attempt. From there, Ali grabbed Miguel, applied the Sharpshooter (!!) for the submission victory.

Post Match: Ali went to the floor and a fan wanted to high-five him. However, Ali moved his hand away (insert Raven’s “What a mark” gif here) as he derisively looked at the crowd and walked up the rampway and we walk to commercials.

We come back to a Final Resolution hype piece and back to the announcers booth as Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk about the Final Resolution Pay Per View and pregame festivities. Eric Young challenges Cedric Alexander on the pre-game and we get Mike Santana vs. Charlie Dempsey, The Iinspiration vs. Blanchard and Crawford, The Rascalz vs. Order Four, International Title Match: Steve Maclin vs. Stacks Lorenzo, Lee vs. Brookside for the Knockouts World Title, Hardys vs. Hygh Ryze, Mance Warner vs. Matt Cardona in a street fight, Leon Slater vs. AJ Francis for the X-Division title and the Kazarian vs. JDC Impact World Title Fight.

Eight man Tag Match Team NXT (Lexis King, Stacks Lorenzo and Hygh Ryze – Tyreek Igwe and Tyson Dupont) vs. Team TNA (Matt and Jeff Hardy, Cedric Aleander and Steve Maclin)

The MWO head to ringside to moderate heat but is dwarfed by the pop of the Hardys. The Hardys make their way slowly to ringside and drop the belts and run because it was ruse: Maclin and Alexander came from behind and attacked the NXT gang. The Hardys joined them and the schmozapalooza commenced. The Hardys ran Hygh Ryze into the ring steps as Maclin attacked Lorenzo and Alexander mauled King in the corners inside the ring.

Maclin grabbed Lorenzo and chopped him on the ropes and hit a knee to the abdomen on Lorenzo as he came off the ropes. Maclin grabbed King and gave him a side backbreaker and threw him to Alexander who hit a German Suplex in the corner. Maclin focused his attack on Lorenzo again and grabbed an armlock and tagged Matt who slugged Lorenzo. Matt tagged Jeff and the Hardys hit a double back elbow followed by a fist drop/body splash combination for a two-count.

The Hardys threw Lorenzo and set up the Poetry in Motion but King wisely grabbed Matt to prevent the move. However, Jeff attacked King as Matt recovered. The two threw King out of the ring as Hygh Ryze tried to interfere. This time, Maclin and Alexander intercepted the tandem and threw them out of the ring. This left Lorenzo in the ring surrounded by the Team TNA. Lorenzo tried to plead his case (shouldn’t have offed Luca Crusifino) but realizing it was no use, tried to attack the Hardys. It was a futile gesture as all four members took turns pounding on Lorenzo, which lead to Maclin hiptosssing out of the ring and into the MWO as we toss to our last ad package.

When we return, King got the advantage on Alexander and got a two count. King continued to beat on Alexander and tagged Lorenzo who whipped King into a dropkick in the corner. King whipped Lorenzo into the corner for an assisted cannonball for a two count on Alexander. Alexander tried to fight back as the two fought for position. Lorenzo hi a back elbow and took a swipe at Maclin in the corner. Maclin ducked the shot and when Lorenzo came back, Alexander blocked a kick and hit a dragonscrew leg whip.

Alexander tagged Maclin as Lorenzo tagged King. Maclin instantly attacked King and hit a Thesz Press for a two count. He continued to beat on King. King blocked a bulldog attempt in the corner but Maclin came back with a back elbow and an (eventual) Angle Slam. He mocked King’s motion picture taunt (shades of the Hollywood Blondes) and hit a clothesline to the back of King’s head in the corner. He then got King in the Tree of Woe and set up for the Crosshairs but King evaded it.

Maclin deftly slid under it and caught Lorenzo with an uppercut on the floor. He got on the apron and hit King with a back elbow and then dove off the apron and hit a flying bodypress on Hygh Ryze. However, King recovered and hit a dropkick between the ropes on Maclin. Maclin and Maclin got back in the ring and King choked Maclin with his boots in the corner.

King beat on Maclin in the corner and tagged Dupont, who tagged Igwe, who continued to beat on Maclin as Dupont hit a choke slam for two. King tagged back and then tagged Lorenzo but THIS assisted Cannonball hit mothering but turnbuckle. Maclin threw a charging King out of the ring. However, Maclin and Lorenzo clotheslined the other and both slumped to the floor.

Both men crawled to make the tag as Jeff Hardy and King brawled. Jeff was a compound on fire and sent knocked the rest of the MWO off the apron and to the floor. He then measured King, hit a back elbow and hit the Whisper in the Wind as King went to the floor. Hardy got on the apron and leapt onto the MWO. Hardy threw King into the ring and climbed to the top rope. But, Lorenzo distracted him from the apron which gave King a chance to recover and knocked King form the top turnbuckle.

Alexander got in the ring and attacked King but King grabbed the ropes when Alexander went for a rollup. King superkicked him but Alexander recovered in time to catch a charging King and hit the Michinoku Driver. This gave Igwe a chance to get Alexander on his shoulders. Alexander escaped but, after the two fought for position, Igwe caught Alexander with a big boot off the ropes.
While Igwe celebrated, Maclin recovered and hit a running knee strike that dropped Igwe. However, Dupont got in the ring and clotheslined Maclin. This brought Matt Hardy into the ring and hit the Side Effect on Dupont. King came in the ring and struck Matt and tried to hit the Coronation. However, Matt escaped and pushed King into Jeff and the tandem hit the Plot Twist (Twist of Fate/neckbreaker combination,) a flying splash got two until Lorenzo disrupted the pin.

Lorenzo and Matt fought in the corner as a loud “TNA” chant emerged. Lorenzo pushed Matt out of the ring and jeff tried to attack but got caught in the numbers game. Lorenzo slugged Jeff and tagged himself into the match. Lorenzo climbed the turnbuckle but Jeff kicked his legs out from him and left Lorenzo in the Tree of Woe. NOW, we get the Poetry in Motion (sort of, Jeff just hit a running elbow.) Maclin joined the fun, hit the Hardys dance and got Lorenzo into the Crosshairs. Hygh Ryze recovered and grabbed the Hardys and dragged them to the floor as Igwe and Dupont ran the Hardys into the apron.

However, Maclin held the ropes down as Alexander dove over the ropes and hit a Senton to drop Hygh Ryze. But while that was happening, Maclin set up Lorenzo for the K.I.A. King came into the ring and nailed Maclin with his cane. Lorenzo rolled up Maclin and got the victory (grabbing the tights for extra leverage.)

Post Match: The MWO gloated at the floor as Marella made his way to the rampway and glared at them. Marella started to yell at Lorenzo as we went off the air.

Impactful Ruminations:

One: The truly biggest news is the AMC deal. I am happy for Impact, I am. However, I do think of the times the WWE debuted on other channels (aside from USA) and some of the struggles with the show. If ever there was a time for Impact to get some good storylines and fresh approaches to the betterment of its own organization, this is the time. Get the missteps out now, because we all wondered what would happen if TNA got a decent channel and some money; well, here it is. I do hope they succeed. Twenty-three years of “almost” and “LOLTNA” made it to this point. They are within striking distance of AEW (I argue) and hope they avoid getting in their own way.

Two: I guess given conventional wrestling wisdom, the MWO going over tonight means TNA wins at Final Resolution. The MWO seems random and maybe this puts the group to bed. If TNA wants to sign them as their own and give them some reps, so be it. But the invasion story line is just mind numbing at this point. Jensen just seemed there. Hygh Ryze might be worth a look at a team but are still incredibly green (ergo King and Lorenzo doing most of the heavy lifting in the match, ironically.)

Three: Well, Brookside did win. I am probably the most curious how they book the match for Final Resolution. Lee (weird audio aside) might have tipped her hand by saying how friendly the two are and when the match is done they will still be partners. That usually is the “heel turn” signal blaring. Side note, that was the most impressed I was with Brookside in the ring. Whatever happens at Final Resolution, she might be worth keeping for singles competition.

Four: Moore seems the part as the third Mean Girl heel. I would much rather watch her and Blanchard (despite the talent chasm) than Crawford and Blanchard. Crawford seemed too clunky and just doesn’t resonate any emotional response for me. Blanchard is great (yeah, yeah, I know) and Moore has showed me something in the last two times I have seen her.

Five: Mustafa Ali, still great and when (it almost has to be when) Santana regain the title, I would love to see a rekindling of the feud between the two. I also like Ali diversifying his holds and adding a sharpshooter, which was perfect for the moment against Miguel.

Six: The war of words between Kazarian and JDC have been great but the match is complete fait accompli. Nice of JDC to play off TNA’s weird audio stuff and keep the racing motorcycle in his segment. It is all for naught but it is a nice send off for JDC to have this shot at the title.

Seven: I am curious who is the replacement for JDC in the System.

Eight: We are running through the Swann face turn, perhaps a bit too prematurely. Francis is great in his role but his bullying of Swann after just a couple of months just seemed rushed. Navarro and Swann find themselves in the same odd spot. Navarro is coming along with recovery and Swann seemed to have put his past behind him and is wrestling great. I am curious how they book this.

Nine: We need some new tag teams. The Hardys have looked old for a while but this was really bad during the main event (perhaps why Hygh Ryze was only slightly featured, too, perhaps.)

Ten: The Santana match was exactly what it should have been.

Lastly: With the move to AMC, that can only mean one thing: Your Mr. Elegance winner – Saul Goodman.
