TNA Impact Review – 11.06.25

Welcome to the third (and final) special edition of TNA Impact (whilst they are on autumn break, and, in their defense, the leaves are lovely this time of the year.) Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt call the action. Most importantly, you’re here, so let’s open up “Open Fight Night” with some Impactful Discourse, shall we? We shall.

We start with Santino Marella telling us that we are still recovering from Bound For Glory (well…sure) Next week, he promises that we will be live in Orlando, FL with major decisions and major announcements galore. Tonight, is “Open Fight Night” when anyone can challenge anyone. Before we get to the matches, we get a digital exclusive with Brian Myers, He is announcing four-way tag match between the Rascalz, Great Hands, Sinner and Saint (formerly part of the Northern Armory, also known as Travis Williams and Judas Icarus) and the System (Myers and Eddie Edwads.)

He said the year is almost over but this is step one of Myers and Edwards climbing the tag ranks. He makes a height joke at the expense of the other teams (fair, they are all diminutive – aside from Jason Hotch of the Hands, I would argue.) None of the them measure up to the System.

Four Way Tag Match: The Rascalz vs. The System vs. Saint and Sinner (Travis Williams and Judas Icarus) vs. The Great HandsThis is a previously taped bout from Edmonton.

Sinner and Saint enter first with Sinner (Icarus) a ting a fool whilst Williams pose in the ring. The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel) are next and shake hands with the ringside fans and do their wave. The Great Hands (Hotch and John Skyler) enter next with Tasha Steelz in tow. The enter the ring to a cacophony of boos and do the Order Four salute. The System are last (with Alisha Edwards in tow.) They got the biggest pop of the four.

Miguel got the crowd riled up but it is Icarus and Wentz starting the bout. Icarus got a go behind armlock but Wentz reversed it with an armdrag and a cradle for two. Icarus attempted another armlock but Wentz backflipped out of it and hit an armdrag as Icarus scurried out of the ring. The Great Hands attacked Wentz and attempted a double suplex. However, Miguel entered the ring and caught him. The Hands turned around to punch The Rascalz but they bailed and the System slugged them instead and threw them out of the ring. The Rascalz hit the ropes and caught the System with dual superkicks. Edwards and Myers went to the floor as the Rascalz hit the ropes and hit tope con hilos over the top rope on the other combatants.

Wentz threw Icarus in the ring as we throw to a commercial break. On the streaming service, we get highlights of a Triple Threat Cage Match between Awesome Kong, Angelina Love and Taylor Wilde. Kong hit a giant swing on Love. She then stood on her hair and lifted Love by her arms. Kong rag dolled Love and Wilde. Kong picked up Love and delivered a chokeslam. Kong started to climbed to the top rope.

Kong attempted a somersault splash on Love but Love evaded it. Love went for the pin but Wilde broke the pin. Love hit the Botox Injection on Wilde and went to the cage where Kong laid. Love and Sky started to tie Kong’s braids to the cage. Meanwhile, Raisha Saeed chased Sky away but Love continued to antagonize Kong. This gave Wilde time to recover and climb to the top rope and hit a flying bodypress and we end that highlight.

We see and ad for the YouTube series “Immersed.” This episode focuses on Cody Deaner as he talked about his life in wrestling. Eric Young chimed in with his thoughts on Deaner. Deaner talked about perseverance in the ring despite his enhancement talent status. He talked about his love of wrestling and working as both producer and wrestler.

After that ad, we go back to the original match with Wentz tagging Miguel and hitting the Motor City Machine Guns double team spot on Icarus (inverted atomic drop, low drop kick, chancery and seated drop kick.) Miguel got Icarus on his shoulders but Icarus threw him to the corner. That enabled Hotch to tag. He threw Icarus into the turnbuckles but Williams sacrificed himself and cushioned the blow for Icarus. For his favor, Icarus rebounded and dropped Hotch with a flying forearm.

Williams was tagged as Saint and Sinner hit a slingshot armdrag and then a drole dropkick on Hotch. After a pin attempt, Williams attempted to suplex Hotch but Hotch reversed it and eye poked Williams. Whilst Hotch gloated, Wiliams tagged Myers; who dropped Hotch with a series of flying forearms. Myers hit a kick to the torso but Skyler distracted Myers, giving Hotch time to recover and hit a dropkick to the back of Myers which sent him sprawling to the floor.

Whilst Hotch distracted the referee, Skyler drove Myers’ back to the ring apron. He threw Myers back into the ring and Hotch beat on Myers. Skyler was tagged and put Myers in the Tree of Woe. Hotch accosted Edwards to draw the referee’s ire. While the referee was busy, The Hands climbed the turnbuckles and did the Team Canada spot where they stood on Myers’ groin on the turnbuckles, giving the Order Four gesture.

Skyler hit the chinlock and Myers tried to fight out of it but a hair pull ended the rally. Skyler slugged Edwards to the floor. Hotch was tagged and the duo hit a Russian Legsweep/rolling neckbreaker spot for two before Icarus and the Rascalz broke up the pin.

Hotch hit the chinlock on Myers as Myers again tried to fight out of it. He did escape an hit he ropes for a sunset flip for two; only for Hotch to kick out and then hit a dropkick to drop Myers for a two count. Hotch hit a cravat on Myers and tagged Skyler. Skyler threw Myers to the floor and distracted the ref as Steelz laid the boots to Myers before Alisha came to defend the System. Hotch tagged and hit the chinlock on Myers.

Myers tried to break free and a Pele kick did the job as both combatants were on the mat. Both managed to get the tag and Eddie came in a brownstone on fire on Skyler. Eddie hit an inverted atomic drop and a clothesline and then caught Hotch with a big backdrop. Eddie put Skyler on the top turnbuckle and hit a hurincanrana from the top turnbuckle for a two count before Hotch broke the count.

The Rascalz had enough and they climbed into the ring. Miguel leapt on Hotch in a crucifix position and Wentz superkicked him and flipped Hotch in the process. Icarus and Williams came into the ring. Icarus prevented Miguel from hitting an atomic drop on Williams by grabbing Williams’ arms and forcing them back – hitting Miguel with an elbow.

Williams pushed Miguel into Icarus, who hit him with a forearm smash. That sent Miguel backward into a huge back suplex by Williams. Williams hit the ropes to leap on the Rascalz but they had moved. Icarus had the wherewithal to redirect Williams and NOW he flew over the top rope to where the Rascalz were.

Icarus hit the ropes to leap on Miguel but as he ran to the ropes, Skyler speared him through the ropes. This gave time for Myers to get into the ring and hit the Roster Cut on Skyler. Edwards get in the ring and hit the Boston Knee Party for the victory.

Post Match: The System got in the ring and celebrated on the turnbuckles.

We cut to backstage and see Jody Threat. She said it is obvious who she wants (to be fair, it was quite obvious) to fight – Dani Luna, her former partner, friend and sister. And that is next.

Meanwhile, on the stream, we get highlights of AJ Styles fighting Bully Ray Dudley (from the Phenomenal – the Best of AJ Styles special.) We see both combatants fighting in the rampway area and Styles has – what else – a table that he brings to where Dudley is. Styles beat on a bloody Bully Ray and nails him with a chair as Bully Ray got on the table. AJ then climbed to the entrance way but loke dup. He then climbed the lighting truss. He thought about it and climbed higher. He climbed to nearly the top, got ready and hit a flying elbow drop on Bully Ray. The crowd chanted for deified excrement as both wrestlers were on the floor as the referee started counting. Styles gradually got to his feet but Bully Ray kicked him; the force of the kick broke the staging area with Styles’ head.

We come back to a segment with the Personal Concierge and the entire (pre Ash retirement) By Elegance Brand as they make a special announcement – they are looking for MR. ELEGANCE. The winner gets a one-year contract with TNA and get to walk out with the By Elegenace Brand. What are they looking for? M said she is looking for class, Heather said she is looking for Sass and Ash is thinking about glutes.

M said he has to be strong, Heather said he has to be long (take a moment to savor the irony) and Ash asked is they are talking about ding dongs (although a hot dog was shown as a graphic.) The Concierge asked what they are really looking for, M said Panache, Heather said Moxie and Ash said pizzazz. M wanted someone lean, Heather wants him to be mean and Ash wants a fighting machine.

The Personal Concierge wrapped it up the side effects of the role in pharmacy rep fast talk. We go back to ringside with Hannifan saying “of all things I have ever seen, that was the most recent.” We also get the next match

Dani Luna vs. Jody Threat

Luna entered first to a mix of cheers and boos – actually more cheers, I would argue. The crowd is definitely cheering Threat as she high tails it to the ring and hits her turnbuckle pose. Hannifin and Rehwoldt talk about the history between the two and Rehwoldt brought up Indi Hartwell’s involvement in the angle.

Meanwhile, Threat got behind Luna and brought her down to the mat twice. Luna grabbed the arm and backed threat to the turnbuckles and hit a knee as the ref called for the break. That sent Threat charging after Luna and tackled her in the ring and her beatdown commenced. Luna bailed to the floor but Threat hit the ropes and hit a dive (filed under “didn’t get all of it” on Luna. Luna recovered and tried to hit a powerbomb from the apron to the floor on Threat but Threat kicked her away. However, Luna avoided Threat’s running cannonball to the floor. Luna smiled as she measured Threat and hit a running elbow dop on Threat. She also ran Threat’s back into the apron before throwing her back in the ring.

Luna put the boots to Threat and then hit an overhead suplex on her former tag partner. In the turnbuckles. Threat tried to hold on but Luna eventually whipped her to the other side and hit a running clothesline in the corner. Threat, again, tried to stem the tide and grabbed a sleeperhold only for Luna to run her into the corner and broke the hold.

Luna slowed the action and taunted Threat while holding an arm lock. However, another overhead suplex was reversed into a vertical suplex by Threat. Threat kept the momentum going with a kick to the torso and a Yakuza kick off the ropes. Threat hit the ropes but Luna moved out of the way of a meteora attempt. Threat managed to catch herself on the miss but Luna got behind her and hit a German suplex for a two count. Luna continued to beat on Threat as we go to commercials.

Luna continued to beat on Threat as we return from break. Hannifan reiterated the history between the two and despite all they did as teammates it has still come to them battling. Threat managed to rally, though and picked up Luna on her shoulders and attempted the Pop Shove It but Luna landed on her feet. Luna tried to attack Threat but was met with a huge series of chops. Luna, reversed as suplex but Threat came off the ropes with a clothesline. Another clothesline on the ropes sent the two out of the ring.

Threat was on the apron and Luna was on the floor. Threat got ready and NOW Threat hit the running cannonball on Luna. Threat threw Luna back into the ring as Threat climbed to the top rope and hit a fling crossbody splash. A Jackhammer got two for Threat. Threat, well, threatened to grab a Cobra Clutch but Luna rolled through it and grabbed Threat’s arm as the two fought for position. A huge back elbow dropped Threat as did a back body drop.

Luna charged at Threat but was met with about. However, Luna ducked a Threat clothesline and hit a slingshot Blue Thuner Bomb for two-and-a-a-fraction. Luna slugged away on Threat as Threat laid on the mat. Luna bad mouthed the referee but that gave Threat time to recover and hit a sleeperhold and Luna had desperately crawled to the ropes for a break.

Threat grabbed Luna but Luna hit a knee to the torso to stop the offense. Threat was unfazed and chopped away at Luna. Luna responded with a bother knee to the abdomen. Threat recovered and hit a series of forearms. Threat tried to hit the ropes but Luna grabbed her and hit a clothesline to the back of the head. Luna got Threat on her shoulders but Threat rolled out of it and nailed a hurincanrana adjacent escape that sent Luna to the corner. Threat charged Lun but Luna held down the tope rope and Threat went to the apron.

Luna got the ropes and deadlifted Threat into a German Suplex. From there, Luna got Threat on her shoulders and NOW we get the Luna Landing for the victory.

Post Match: Luna and Threat nursed their wounds and made their way to the ringside.

Speaking of bruises and nursing, it’s time for the Bioflex Medical Report. Mustafa Ali is day-to-day from the bruising he suffered during the Hardcore War match at Bound for Glory. Jake Something is still nursing the misting he got from Rosemary during the Call Your Shot match. His eyes are getting better and will be cleared soon. Mike Santana is also cleared from the lacerations he got during the match with Trick Williams.

We go back to another contestant calling their shots. This time it is Cedric Alexander. He said everyone asked him about one person – how would he do against Mike Santana. Alexander wants to prove he is the best. It doesn’t have to be a title match; he wants to know if he can hang with the champion and wants people to know why they call him “Prime” Alexander. Meanwhile, we have to hang with some commercials.

When we return, we get another Immersive special – this time with Ash By Elegance. She was in her prime but then another company cut her, so sayeth the PC. Tommy Dreamer talked about the confidence he had in her. Carlos Silva, TNA President, talked about Ash going into an NXT PLE and winning the title. We then go to the talk of her retirement announcement. We get the in ring moment when she had to relinquish her title.

We get the hype for the next taping cycle in Orlando and we finish the year in El Paso. We get and Nemeth amongst the University of Texas, El Paso Miners college football team. Santana talked about the media blitz and working with members of the El Paso Boys and Girls Club. Santana also took time to pose aby a Eddie Guerrero mural and talked about the impact of the Guerrero family. We also saw Santana perform a ceremonial coin toss at an El Paso High School football game.

Hannifan talked about the rest of the year and their stop in El Paso building to the last PLE of 2025, Final Resolution. We go to a TNA Tag Team Championship Bout that took place the last time they were in El Paso.

The Hardys vs. The Colons

We cut to the Hardys and Slater celebrating a victory until the Colons made their way from backstage during their last time in El Paso. The crowd let the Colons have it (with Jeff Hardy’s encouragement.) Eddie Colon said while the Hardys ware worrying about the Nemeths they should be worried about the Colons, who are going to beat them like they owe the Colons money.

The crowd let the Colons have it and we get an impromptu tag match between he two brothers team. Matt got on the mic and said if the Colons want that dinero so badly he is going t have an El Paso Street Fight between the two – right now (or right then, but you get the gist.)

Jeff and Eddie start the match. Eddie got an armlock but Jeff kicked Eddie to escape ad grabbed an arm lock of his own, running his shoulder into Eddie’s arm for extra damage. Matt tagged into the match and climbed to the second turnbuckle and hit an elbow drop on the arm. Matt hen worked Eddie’s arm but banging into Matt’s shoulder. Jeff tagged and hit an elbow drop to the arm for his own.

Eddie managed to escape and Orlando tagged but was victim to a Jeff arm drag and two count. Jeff got another arm drag and worked the arm as the crowd chanted “we want tables.” Matt gaged back into the match and the Hardys hit a double back elbow and then hit the fist drop/leg drop double team. Eddie entered the ring but he was met with dual punches in the corner. They threw Eddie into the corner and the Hardys hit the Poetry in Motion.

The Hardys mimicked the Dudleys and Matt said “get the tables.” They grabbed a table under the ring but the Colons had time to recover and attacked the Hardys with a weight belt (Eddie on Jeff) and a chair (Orlando on Matt.) The two choked the Hardys on the floor and Eddie threw Matt into the ring post. Meanwhile, Orlando beat on Jeff. The Colons did the ultimate heel move and kicked the tables out of the rind and on the floor. Meanwhile, Jeff grabbed a chain the Colons brought and slugged Orlando. Matt recovered and attacked Eddie with a kendo stick. Matt threw Eddie into the ring and Jeff threw Orlando in the ring. The Hardys hit the 10-turnbuckle spot with the Hardys ramming the Colons head into the descending turnbuckles.

Jeff sent Orlando to the floor with a seated dropkick as Matt and Eddie brawled on the floor. Eddie grabbed the chain but Matt hit him in the abdomen and Eddie dropped it. Matt dragged Eddie to the bounce table and started to brawl as Hannifan and Rehwoldt scrambled to escape. Matt and Eddie brawled in the stands. Jeff grabbed Orlando and met hi there. The Hardys ran the Colons together on the floor.

The Hardys went for stereo Twists of Fate but the Colons hit low blows to drop the Hardys. Eddie dropped Mat with a chair and ran Jeff into the ringsteps. NOW, the Colons grabbed the table and brought it in the ring. Matt made his way to the mat. A large “Hardy” chant emerged but the Colons hit an F5/DDT maneuver Matt for a two count. The Colons set up the table and Orlando put Matt on the table and Eddie scaled the turnbuckles. But, Jeff hit the ropes and Eddie crotched himself on them. Eddie crumpled to the floor.

Orlando teased hitting a Twist of Fate but Matt lowblowed his way to escape. As Orlando writhed in pain, Matt hit the Twist of Fate. He put Orlando on the table (which was not the most stable) and Jeff hit the Swanton Bomb for the victory.

Post-Match: The Hardys shook hands with the entire ringside area and signed autographs for the crowd and celebrated up the rampway as we celebrate commercials.

We come back to the Impact World Championship match on 2012 between AJ Styles and Bobby Roode. We see a series of reversals and pin attempts before Roode bailed to the floor. A test of strength is teased but Roode used it as a ruse and kicked Styles in the torso. Roode chopped away on Styles in the corner. Styles reversed a while to the turnbuckles into a huge dropkick

We get a jump edit to Roode hitting a kneedrop on Styles for a two count. Roode beat on Styles’ back and grabbed the chinlock. Roode continued to punish the back of Styles. Roode put his boot on the back of Style and pulled on the arms for extra leverage. Styles rallied by hitting a back elbow and a punch. However, Roode evaded a Styles charge into the corner Styles flew over Roode but landed on the apron. Styles was going to attempt a springboard leap but Roode shoved him to the floor.

Styles got to the apron and Roode went for the kill; but, a Roode charge was met with a shoulderblock by Styles. NOW, Styles climbed to the top rope and hit the phenomenal forearm for two-and-a-fraction. Styles grabbed Roode for the Styles Clash but Roode ran Styles into the turnbuckles. Roode put Styles on the top turnbuckle and climbed to the top for a superplex.

However, Styles headbutted him to the mat and Styles hit a missile dropkick. Styles came off the ropes abut was met with a Roode boot. A Roode Fisherman buster was reversed as was a Styles powerbomb attempt. Roode went to slingshot Styles into the turnbuckles but Styles managed to leap onto the turnbuckles and backflip over a charging Roode. However, Roode came back with a spear and a face lock.

Styles, thought rolled on his back and got a pin attempts. He then locked Roode in a Muta Lock as Roode scrambled and crawled to the ropes. Styles managed to put the boots to Roode in the corner. Another Styles Clash was reversed into a spine buster and NOW Roode hit the Fisherman’s Suplex for two-and-a-fraction.

Roode measured Styles and tried for another Fisherman’s Suplex; but Styles reversed it with a Pele Kick. Styles crawled to the apron and hit a Springboard 450 Splash. But, Roode got his feet up and Styles slumped to the canvas. Roode hit another Fisherman’s Suplex for the victory.

We hit another series of commercials and return to highlights from Tuesday’s NXT show. We see the denouement of the Ethan Page/Chelsea Green celebration for winning the “Triple Ah” mixed tag team titles. Only for Joe Hendry (clap clap) to interfere. Green, Page and Fyre thought Joe would emerge from a giant cake in the ring but Hendry came out the usual way. However, Hendry had a surprise for them as we said her name and she appeared – we believe in Thea (ummm…clap, clap, I guess.)

We also got highlights of Kelani Jordan’s bout with Tasha Mae Steele. We get Marella’s rebuttal to Jordan’s edict that she will not defend her title at Gold Rush. Rather, she will be in a triple threat match with Lei Ying Lee and Jordynne Grace – much to Jordan’s dismay and anger.

We then go to Sarah Schreiber and Jordan for a sit down interview. Jordan the only difference between this title reign and her previous reign as NXT North American Titlist is time. When she was the North American Title holder, she didn’t have the experience but had the need to be a people pleaser. As the TNA World Champ, there is no pressure on her; she doesn’t have to prove herself. She also said there was less pressure by not doling out championship bouts to everyone because when she tried to do things the right way she was run out of the locker room.

Jordan said she is going to continue the lineage of great women who held the TNA Knockouts Champiohnship. That lead Schreiber to ask about the TNA Knockouts Division and its lineage with Ash By Elegance. Jordan said Ash was her mentor when Jordan first arrived in NXT and holding the title is a full circle moment. Ash believed in her when no one else did.

Schreiber talked about challengers. She said she is familiar with Lee, Indi Hartwell (whom she defeated for the title) and Mara Sade. She is not familiar with Tessa Blanchard, Tasha Steelz and the By Elegance Brand and Xia Brookside. She wants them all to challenge her and the result will still be the same – and still TNA Knockouts Champion, Kelani Jordan.

Schreiber asked about being alone with her new attitude displayed the last couple of weeks. Jordan said it does get lonely at the top. The same friends she had as a challengers are the same friends who packed up her stuff and sent her out of the locker room when she became a champion. They want to see her doing good but not doing better than them.

Schreiber asked about the Gold Rush match. Jordan said Lee is a great striker. How does she know that? Because Jordan beat her. Grace is an amazing powerhouse. How does she know that? Because Jordan beat her, too. She didn’t want the match because she beat them but Marella just doled out title matches to people that are below her but she will just have to beat them again. Jordan said there is no one in either locker room that is as innovate and athletic as her. She just has to be herself because at the end, no one can do it like Lani.

We fade to black and get the hype for tonight’s main event – after the break.

There is a weird edit (and methinks It’s something that should not have been run? Maybe.) But we get the By Elegance Brand starting to look for Mr. Elegance in Edmonton. We get a litany of enhancement talent and The By Elegance Brand make offhanded remarks about clothing (liking one guy in pink.) Heather asked if this is backyard wrestling, to which Ash cracks a joke that they are inside. Ash decides its time to leave because this place is a dump and there are no men in Edmonton (M makes a funny line by saying it’s Ed-Muohn-Toun, because she took French in high school.) They leave and try to figure what they want for dinner.

Now we get the main event

Mike Santana vs. Cedric Alexander

This is prior to the world title win (even though announcing built him as the world champ) Santana comes out first through the crowd and the crowd just loves him. Alexander is next and did get a decent pop. Rewholdt and Hannifan talk about Santana’s past as a cruiserweight. Santana got a good chant going and encouraged the crowd to chant for Alexander. Sportsmanship is observed and they locked up with Alexander backing Santana in to the corner.

Santana got an arm lock on Santana but Santana flipped out of it and grabbed an armlock of his very one. Santana continued to work the arm but Alexanders reversed and got a headlock takeover only to fall victim to a headscissors. A series of reversals of punches and Alexander just reversed a Spin the Block as Alexander went to the ropes. Alexander grabbed a headlock and a shoulderblock off the ropes.

Santana reversed an arm drag into one of his own off the ropes. Alexander backdropped a charging Santana over the turnbuckles but Santana landed on his feet on the apron. He flipped over a charging Alexander and hit the ropes. He then hit a reverse body press off the ropes for two. Santana attempted to thit the ropes but Alexnader grabbed his legs and tripped hi on the floor. Santana went to the floor and superkicked Alexander. Both men got into the ring but Alexander hit the ropes and hit a moonsault off the ropes. He then slugged Santana on the apron and slammed a charging Santana on the apron as we charge to commercials.

When we tureen, Alexnader was stalking Santana in the ring and hit a German suplex for a series of two counts. Alexander slugged away on Santana but Santana no sold Alexander’s chops in the corner. Santana hit a series of chops of his own in the corner. However, a whip to the ropes was reversed and Alexander hit a Michinoku Driver for two. Alexander grabbed a chinlock and cinched it in but Santana rallied and backflipped his way out of a suplex attempt with a series of clotheslines, including flying clothesline off the ropes.

Alexander managed to whip Santana into the corner but Santana flipped his way to evade an Alexander charge. Santana countered with an enziguri in the corner. Santana hit the ropes but Alexander evaded him and attempted a German Suplex. Santana made it to the ropes and attempted a Rolling Block 50. Alexander was prepared because he reversed that into a German Suplex.

A running knee strike landed and Alexander hit a Fisherman’s Buster for a two-and-a-fraction. Alexander stalked Santana and attempted the Lumbar Check; however, Santana blocked it with a headlock and a series of elbows to the back of the head. Alexander sent Santana into the corner but Santana blocked the charge and put Alexander on the turnbuckles. Alexander reversed a superplex attempt but Santana blocked the subsequent power bomb attempt. Alexander charged Santana on the turnbuckles but was met with a back kick. Santana used that to set up and hit a Rolling Block 50 for two-and-a-fraction.

Both men traded shots on the mat but Santana got the upper hand with a series of chops. Alexander tried to rally and both men traded combinations. Alexander hit a huge uppercut but Santana countered with a running kick to the face. Alexander hit a superkick and the two squared away and hit a series of pinfall attempts an reversals. Santana tried for another Spin the Block but Alexander reversed it to a Lumbar Check. However, Santana reversed that into a headlock takedown. An Alexander kick stymied another Spin the Block attempt. Alexander hit the ropes and NOW Santana hit the Spin the Block for the victory.

Impactful Ruminations

One: The match was fait accompli but I really enjoyed the main event. Alexander is an incredibly talented wrestler and proved he deserves something of a push. Santana was excellent and channeled – as noted by the announcers, his lucha background and tenure as a junior heavyweight.

Two: Jordan did not do that bad on the mic. I got worried when she started talking about Ash by Elegance and started to drift into face territory but she nailed the ending. I really liked the line about Lee and Grace and how she knew what their strengths were.

Three: New matches next week. Huzzah!!!!!

Four: The Dani Luna vs. Jody Threat Match was solid, too. I didn’t expect that to be as good. Nicely done. They have something with Luna and would be wise to keep that going. I was as impressed with Threat as I ever was. I don’t how to book her but she has value.

Five: I am keeping this short because I am also drafting my resignation letter to my current employer. The Mr. Elegance role is beckoning me and I am a sure natural for it.
