TNA Impact Review – December 11, 2025

Well, we made our Final Resolution as we make our way to a momentous move to AMC in 34 days. Meanwhile, we still have some time to make an Impact in 2025. Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt, Gia Miller and McKenzie Miller are, once again, in El Paso, Texas, hope of the University of Texas, El Paso. UTEP gave the world Tim Hardaway; so, in honor of his famed crossover dribble, let’s do a “Texas Two-Step” Toward the TNA: Genesis PPV and engage in some Impactful discourse? Shall we? We shall.

Previously on TNA, we get highlights from Final Resolution as Stacks Lorenzo defeated Steve Maclin for the International Title with the help of Lexis King and his cane. We also get highlights of Frankie Kazarian fait accompli against JDC for the TNA Impact Heavyweight title. We also get a bit of the post-match schmozapalooza as Lorenzo knocked out his father-in-law, I mean the TNA Director of Authority, Santino Marella.

We are welcomed by Hannifan and Rehwoldt as we get the AMC hype early; and, we also get Kazarian headed to ringside for the King’s Speech. He is greeted with a chant of Spanish vulgarities. At Final Resolution, he retired JDC. He is now where he should be, leading TNA into the AMC era. So, forget Walter White and Rick Grimes, he is the new face of AMC.

He acknowledged the fans’ anger via social media and taunts but their anger is his happiness. Nothing motivates him more than seeing a room of salty, angry marks. The fans could be as angry they want but they would sell their own dirty mom to be in his position. He is their king and will be for a very long time and we should get used to it.

However, Mike Santana’s music and chryon play as he makes his way through the crowd. The crowd loves Santana. He locked glares with Kazarian and starts his interview amongst the stands. He tells Kazarian to shut his mouth. Where are his people in the 915 and the crowd cheers. Santana started his promo in Spanish but turned English. How could be mad at Kazarian. HE saw an opportunity, took an opportunity and seized it. He doesn’t have to like but he has to respect it.

As much as he wants to step to the ring and stomp his head. Until he reclaims the title, he wants Kazarian to walk around with a big target on him – not in his back but on his head. Next week, we get a steel cage match between TNA vs. NXT because the NXT are the real reason he isn’t the champ. He wanted to do it alone but Marella insisted he have a team.

When he steps into the ring and wins the match, he is going to pull the trigger on that target. At TNA: Genesis in Dallas, Kazarian vs. Santana for the title. Kazarian pulled a Hogan “That doesn’t work for me, brother,” but Santana said if he doesn’t shut his mouth, he will go to the ring and stomp his head. Santana hated to break it to him, but at Genesis, that title is coming back home – to Papi.

Hannifan and Rehwoldt keep the AMC hype training going as they say they are one month away. We get the rest of the card including the first Knockout Dog Collar match in two years as Dani Luna vs. Indi Hartwell.

Lexis King is backstage and said TNA won’t die; it is like a soul-sucking cancer. Speaking of cancer, Matt Cardona will go anywhere to get a whiff of the greatness the MWO already has. He had to roll around in the mud with the other pigs to get here. King doesn’t know who Cardona is but knows what he is – nothing more than just a glorified backyard paper. Tyriek Igwe botched the promos and said the Hardys slipped away last week with the title but what else they slipped away with their souls. But, their souls are trapped in the cage with them this week (actually, next week.) Tyson Dupont said that when the walls close in they are always dead to issue. Brooks Jensen said the most dangerous is the one nothing less to lose but anything to gain. “Stacks”Lorenzo tried to warn Marella about sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong as he did with his relationship with Arianna. He is a terrible father-in-law. He didn’t want him in TNA, didn’t want him to be with his daughter or win the International title. He never tried to talk to him or form a relationship with him but what he is finding out he gets what he wants. Next week, they find out what he wants is the continuation of the takeover by NXT.

We go to commercials and an ad for every Diamond Dallas Page match in TNA History now available on TNAPlus, including this match vs. Raven, in which we get highlights of Page stomping Raven in a corner and around the floor.

We come back to highlights of NXT Deadline and Leon Slater’s highlights in the Iron Survivor match, including pinning Joe Hendry and flipping over the turnbuckles to hit Evans. We get the finish of the match as Slater pinned Evans but Hendry interrupted and the two went over the rail for Evans to get the pin and the victory.

We also get the announcement of the four way match between, Slater, Myles Borne, Joe Hendry and Dion Lennox, winner gets a title shot at New Year’s Evil.

NOW, we go to ringside for the next match.

Lexis King vs. Matt Cardona

Rehwoldt talked about King’s hand in getting Lorenzo the International Title via the aforementioned interference and cane. Cardona is next to a good pop as both Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk about the cage looming above for next week’s cage match between Team TNA and Team NXT.

Meanwhile, Cardona backed King in the corner and the two jawed at each other. Cardona got the advantage with two armdrags and an armlock. Aronda worked the arm until King slugged Cardona and chopped away in the corner. But, a charge is met with knees and a missile dropkick sent King to the floor. Cardona continued the attack with a dropkick between her ropes and threw King back into the ring.

King tried to escape but Cardona caught him. King, though, got the advantage by dropping Cardona’s arm on the top rope and then running him into the ringpost when he got back into the ring. Cardona writhed in pain as King stomped and kicked away at the arm. He locked Cardona’s arm into the position and gave a stomp on the elbow and got a two count.

Cardona tried to fight out and got King to the ropes but King dropped Cardona’s arm on the ropes and hit a Codebreaker on the arm for another two count. King chopped away in the corner and choked Cardona in the corner with both boots. A corner charge feigned a missile dropkick but instead stomped short and slapped Carona. Another charge was met with clothesline and a boot.

Cardona hit a Flatliner and then pounded away on King in the corner to hit the Reboot for a two count. Cardona favored the arm but continued his offense by setting up for an Unprettier but King countered it with a superkick and a running clothesline. King rang the arm and slammed into the mat and a running clothesline off the ropes connected with the back of the head for two. King went for his cane but the referee caught him. This was a distraction for Lorenzo to interfere but Cardona caught him with Radio Silence. King snuck behind Cardona and rolled him up for the win.

Post Match: Cardona beat on King in the corner but Lorenzo interfered. The two beat on Cardona and King hit Cardona in the arm with his cane (Lorenzo held the arm.) This brought out a charging Steve Maclin to even the odds and the heels beat a hasty retreat. Maclin went to check on Cardona who as grabbing his arm and writhing on the mat.

We get the By Elegance Brand Next. Actually, we get an ad for Three Plus Hours of Samoa Joe classics on TNAPlus, including this one where Joe beat on Styles. Joe put the boots to him and threw him into the barricade. Styles rallied with a neck snap on the ropes but Joe regained it on the floor and swung Styles into the barricade.

We get hype for Genesis in Dallas and then we get a segment with Lei ying Lee and Xia Brookside. Lee cut her promo in Mandarin. Brookside said Final Resolution was emotional they pushed each other and beat the crap out of each other. They elevate each other but they are still the Angel Warriors. Lee said they fight for honor and respect each other.

They are interrupted by Robert Stone, Mila Moore, Victoria Crawford and Tessa Blanchard. Stone said this is touching. Crawford said their outfits are a violation. Moore said they are not in their league just in their way. Blanchard said she needs to remind them that she was a former World Champion and did things that Lee could only dream. Brookside said Blanchard cannot disrespect them and then expect a title shot. She reminded Blanchard and Crawford lost to the Iinspiration at Final Resolution.

Blanchard said the only reason she hasn’t come for the title and won it was she hasn’t decided to. If that means beating both of them to do it, that is what she will do. Robert and the ladies walk off screen as Lee and Brookside just looked at them.

Myla Grace and Harley Hudson vs. The By Elegance Brand

Hudson and Grace are out first and make their way ringside. But, more importantly, The Personal Concierge wants our attention. He knows the people of El Paso are just a bunch of broke welfare degenerates. And, that most of them can’t buy gifts for “Feliz Navidad” but he brought a gift for everyone, Heather and M…by Elegance. The By Elegance Brand come out in Elf cosplay and bearing gifts.

“The By Elfegance Brand,” Rehwoldt joked.

The By Elfegan…I mean the By Elegance Brand tried to attack Hudson and Grace with the gifts but missed as the faces ducked. Hudson started to beat on M in one corner whilst Heather and Hudson in the other. The heels tried to run the faces but Hudson and Grace did the do-si-do reverse to beat on the other and the Brand went to the floor.

Back in the ring Hudson and Heather started but Hudson tagged Grace who hit a seated dropkick for two after Hudson slammed Heather to the mat. Hudson tagged again and grabbed a headlock. Heather tagged M and the Brand hit a leg trip and step-up back senton on Hudson for ta two count.

M whipped Hudson into the corner and put the botos to her, with enough time to taunt Grace. After a two-count, M whipped Hudson down into the ropes. With Hudson draped on the ropes, M hit the ropes but feigned a trip and an ankle injury. As the referee was distracted, heather hit a running boot on the apron. M miraculously recovered and tagged heather. They tried the same move but Hudson moved and the back senton hit mothering but mat.

Grace tagged and was a flat on fire , dropping both Brand members with clothesline and grabbing an armlock body slam on Heather for two before m interrupted. Hudson jumped in the fray and attacked M until Grace hit M with a slingshot elevated Coed Red.The Personal Concierge jumped on the ring with a present. Hudson grabbed the present and slammed it over PC’s head. Grace then ran Heather into the ropes (and into the PC) and grabbed a reverse roll up. However, M reversed the pin and Heather stole the pin and the victory.

Post-Match: The Brand celebrated up the ramp as the Personal Concierge recovered from the gift shot.

Bioflex Injury Report: Cardona suffered a severe shoulder injury earlier and is out of the match next week. Mustafa Ali is suffering from myriad abrasions after being hogtied and dragged by Elijah at Final Solution. JDC is dealing with serious hip inflammation after his match with Kazarian and is questionable for his in-ring action. Also, Marella suffered a jaw injury after Lorenzo sucker punched him at Final Resolution.

We get an X-Division challengers match next after another add for every single DDP match in TNA history on TNAPlus, including this one against Jeff Jarrett.

We come back to hype for Saturday Night’s Main Event featuring Slater and Je’Von Evans vs. AJ Styles and Dragon lee. We get another highlight package as Rich Swann turned on AJ Francis and Slater got the win at Final Resolution.

Gia Miller is standing backstage with Swann and point blank asked: Is First Class Done? Swann said the only thing first in First Class is AJ Francis coming first in every situation. Swann said all this started in the back of a plane when the two sat next to each other. He looked at Francis and thought he could be a threat. Swann turned to him and asked if he ever thought of becoming a pro wrestler. Francis said he was actually on the way to a tryout.

Now, fast forward and they are in the same company and Swann could not be happier. Swann thought they could be tagging champions despite what everyone said that he was a snake. Swann found out for himself. At the Call Your Shot Gauntlet, Swann was chokeslammed by Francis and eliminated. He is done being talked down to, done being respected and like he wasn’t X-Division Champ or World Champion.

To answer Miller’s question, First Class is done but A J Francis runs into frame and wallops Swann. Francis said it looks like Swann is being held down now by Francis’ Guccis. Francis said he was always first class and remember if you’re not First Class, you’re last.

Six-Way Scramble Match for an X-Division title shot: BDE vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Ryan Nemeth vs. Jake Something vs. Desmond Xavier vs. Jason Hotch (with Order Four in tow)

BDE is out first and livestreaming his entrance (Alexander, Nemeth and Something are already in the ring by the way.) BDE does the RVD chant. Xavier is next and got a decent pop who skips and struts down the ring and poses with the fans. Hotch is last to the ring and getting hyped by Ali and Tasha Steelz. Ali also joined Hannifan and Rehwoldt on commentary.

Nemeth starts to blow smoke up Something and form a team but when Nemeth charged the others, Something stood on his foot. Nemeth turned around and was dropped by a Something punch. Now, Something wanted the faces to jump him as Hotch slipped to the apron but came back to reverse roll up BDE and a super kick.

But, this left Hotch in the ring with Xavier and Alexander. The faces hit a superkick/German Suplex combination to send Hotch to the floor. Xavier hit a tilt-a-whirl headscissors but Alexander avoided a corner charge by flipping over it. Xavier attempted to hit a moonsault but Alexander moved. Lee landed on his feet but Alexander got behind him and attempted a Lumbar Check. Xavier hiptossed out of it but Xaiver missed an enziguri. The two stared respectfully at each other.

However, this gave Something time to recover and hit the ropes and drop the two with a shoulder block. Something kept running the ropes as Nemeth fell victim to a shoulderblock as did BDE. Hotch got in the ring and avoided the shoulder block but a leapfrog attempt was met with Something’s bodyblock and Hotch hit the canvas hard.

The faces looked at Something and Something charged off the ropes only to be met with superkicks from Xavier, Alexander and BDE. Xavier ran to the apron and hit an axe handle on Nemeth on the floor. Alexsander dove through the ropes and hit a dropkick on Hotch. This left Something and BDE in the ring. BDE hit a Codebreaker on Something and Something rolled to the floor. This gave Nemeth time to recover and comeback and hit a standing reverse neckbreaker on BDE Xavier landed a series of kicks and a cutter on Nemeth. Xavier followed I with a running elbow in the corner. He also hit a seated dropkick off a snapmare.

Hotch tried to sneak behind Xavier and hit the Chaos Theory German Suplex on Xaiver but Xavier reversed it to a reverse rollup. Hotch ducked a Xavier charge and hit a superkick on the apron and then hit the rolling neckbreaker between the ropes for two. Alexander got in the ring and dropped Hotch with a series of clotheslines and a Dragon screw Leg Whip. Alexandr missed a penalty kick but rebounded to hit a Flacons’ Arrow on Hotch until Something broke up the pin.

Alexander beat on Something until Something hit a Full Bodyslam for two. He also caught BDE doing a Springboard Cutter, did some arm curls with him and threw him over his back to the mat. He also hit BDE with a bodyblock in the corner and then a clothesline out of the corner. Something dropped Alexander who got on the apron and did the same to Hotch and Xavier. He threw BDE in the corner and hi a running shoulder block to the abdomen. He put BDE on the top turnbuckle and started to slug him as we headed to commercials.

We get another ad for the three-plus hours of Samoa Joe on TNAPlus. This match was a match between Joe, Styles and Christopher Daniels.

When we come back Something his still beating on BDE in the corner but Xavier and Alexander grab Something and hit a double powerbomb. Xavier and Alexander traded punches in the corner for a long time until Hotch hit Alexander with a big book and hit Lee with a spinning enziguri. Hotch charged Alexander but Alexander caught him with a back elbow. Alexander then hit the ropes but dove through them to hit a dive on Something on the floor.

Hotch recovered and charged Xavier in the corner but was met with a big boot. Xavier grabbed Hotch and ran him into the corner. Hotch avoided the turnbuckles, leapt over them and hit a moonsault on Something from the apron. Xavier then hit the ropes and hit a Flying Tiger Space Drop to Hotch, Something and Alexander. BDE and Nemeth got in the ring and Nemeth hit a flying clothesline on BDE off the ropes.

Nemeth took time to mock Mara Sade’s dance and lollipop and then measured BDE for the leaping DDT for two-and-a-fraction. Meanwhile, Ali jawed at the fans during commentary. Nemeth got a chair from under the ring but Sade came from the back to grab the chair. Nemeth wrested the chair from her but Sade responded with a superkick to drop Nemeth.

Meanwhile, Xavier measured BDE for a 450 Splash but BDE moved and Xavier rolled through it. Hotch hit the ropes and dropped Xavier with the Cave In. Alexander snuck around Hotch and attempted the Lumbar Check but Hotch escaped and hit the ropes. Alexander caught him with a Spanish Fly for two-and-a-fraction. Something recovered and hit Alexander with another bodyblock. Xavier hit the ropes and ducked a Something clothesline and hit the Cardiac Kick. However, BDE came off the ropes with a Springboard Cutter before Xavier could get the pin. BDE got two-and-a-fraction from that. BDE went to the top and hit a Frog Splash on Something. But, Alexander broke up the pin, got the Lumbar Check on BDE and the victory.

Post-Match: Order Four and the rest hobbled up the ramp as Alexander celebrated the victory.

We then go backstage to the System who announce their recruitment drive continues. Myers said JDC said there is a new team they want to face and see if they..Trust the System. As Myers and Alisha Edwards head out frame, JDC pulls Eddie aside and said boys or not, JDC is going to bring it at Genesis and Eddie would not want it any other way.

We go back to another ad for every single DDP match in TNA History, this time the Lethal Lockdown 2005 match that went all over the Impact Zone. We get Jarrett and Sean Waltman brawl al over the arena and on the announce table. Weirdly, DDP is no where in the snippet.

We come back for some hype on TNA Impact coming to Alburquerque in late January and hey, it’s on AMC and we get the Breaking Bad reference since it is New Mexico.

We head backstage to Marella and Arianna Grace who are instantly accosted by Kazarian who rapidly comes into frame. He thinks he should have a match with anyone on the roster but Santana.Marella said we are going to have a Battle Royale and the winner will face Kazarian – at Impact and not Genesis, as Kazarian wants. No, Marella said, it is still Santana. Kazarian and Marella argue until the MWO head into frame as Arianna stands between the two. They gloat about Cardona’s injury and that TNA is down one.

Grace wants everyone to be civil but Lorenzo continues to berate Marella and Grace slapped him and told the MWO to head out, which they did.

System Try Out: Sinner and Saint (Judas Icarus and Travis Williams) vs. The System (Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers – with JDC, Alisha Edwards and Moose in tow.)

Sinner and Saint head out first and somewhat crazily hit the ring and STRUCK THEIR POSE. The System hit the ring to a decent pop. Icarus and Edwards hit the ring first. Edwards grabbed an armlock but Icarus reversed it. However, Edwards reversed that and got an inverted atomic drop and a hard chop. Edwards tagged Myers and Myers hit a jumping knee to Icarus who was thrown from the corner by Edwards.

Icarus finally got some offense as Myers threw him into the corner and Williams sacrificed himself. Icarus came off that and hit a flying forearm that dropped Myers. He also tagged Wiliams. Williams got behind Myers and he and Icarus started to beat down Myers with a series of kicks and punches. A running penalty kick and back senton got a two count for Williams.

Williams grabbed a leg lock and dropped his weight on the left leg. He also whipped Myers’ leg to the mat. He picked up Myers and chopped away. He tagged Icarus to continue to the attack. Icarus stopped the hope crawl and locked an armlock on Myers. Myers slugged out of it but knee to the abdomen stopped that.

Myers got back on offense after a Michinoku driver on Icarus as he charged. Edwards tagged and hit a series of chops and forearms on the opposition. He also hit an overhead suplex on Icarus. He continued to chop Wiliams. Williams tried to regain the momentum in the corner but Edwards hit an enziguri and then the Backpack Stunner for a two count until Icarus broke the pin.

Myers entered the fracas and threw Williams to the ropes only to be caught with a forearm smash on the rebound. He did walk into an Edwards chop but Williams hit the ropes and dropped Edwards with a handspring clothesline. Icarus and Wiliams measured then hit running dropkicks to Edwards in the corner. The two hit an aided powerbomb and then Icarus tagged Wiliams.

However, Myers grabbed Icarus and slammed him on the apron as Edwards escaped a powerbomb attempt. Wiliams tried to fight off the System components but Edwards threw Myers to the ropes and Myers caught him with a spear. Myers hit the ropes and hit a Roster Cut (running lariat) whilst Edwards waited in the corner to hit the Bost Knee Party which got them the victory.

Post Match: The System gathered in the ring and shook the hands of Sinner and Saint as sportsmanship was demonstrated. After Sinner and Saint left, the System celebrated in the ring as we celebrate capitalism with commercials.

When we return, we get hype for TNA: Genesis in that city on North 45.

We head back to ringside and we get an interview with the Hardys. The Hardys still get a giant pop and shook hands with the fans. Matt said it feels so good to be back in El Paso. He said he can feel Eddie Guerrero all around us. A very loud “Eddie” chant emerged and Matt said Eddie will always be part of Team Extreme. At Final Resolution, they defended the titles against Hygh Ryze. He also hyped the steel cage match next week between Team TNA and Team NXT, in which the Hardys will be a part.

Jeff gets the mic and reiterates how good it is to be back in El Paso. He said Santino is trying to find a replacement for Cardona and that person must love TNA as much as they do. Matt said the stakes are high and they must protect the integrity of TNA and 2026 will be the biggest year for TNA…ever. Jeff said NXT keeps invading and make them fade away and classify themselves as obsolete.

BUT WAIT, the lights go out and that slide guitar starts. The Righteous make their way to the ring with psychedelic camera graphics. The Righteous pose in the ring with a pretty good heel reaction. Vincent grabbed the mic and said this is amazing. The Righteous introduce themselves (in lieu of possible reaction to the chants last Friday.) The Hardys said they know who they are but want to know why.

Vincent said they are not here to hurt them. Instead, the Righteous idolize them. The Righteous are eternally loved by everybody. Vincent is getting giddy just being in the ring and the Hardys are gods walking amongst the mortals. Vincent truly does mean it. Dutch gets the mic and said it truly is an honor to be in the ring with them. He touts their accolades, the history and their great fans – the Die Hardys, Matt called them. Dutch said they are nothing like have ever been seen.

The Righteous are not here to replace them; no, no, no, they stand here because of them. Vincent wanted to be completely transparent with them. They are not looking at them as opponents or to threaten them, they are grateful for them. The Hardys have changed tag team wrestling and the Hardys are truly forever. I mean, doesn’t Vincent look like someone you could totally trust?

Matt tried to make sense of the situation and asked if he only reason the Righteous are in the ring are to interrupt them? Vincent said yes, that’s all they wanted to say. BUT ALSO, and wanted to wish them luck in the cage match next week. Dutch said they will be watching. Because, they want to bear witness to the ascension of the Hardys to become the immortals they are destined to become because Dutch is Righteous and Vincent said they are many – dig what he is saying?

They put the mic down and leave the ring as the Hardys stand befuddled. Meanwhile, in the back Hartwell stands ready for the main event dog collar match as Luna taped up and charged forward as we charge forward to commercials.

We come charging back form commercials for AMC hype on January 15 and the Genesis PPV on the 17^th.

Before the main event, we get Marella and Arianna Grace headed from the back to the rampway. Marella apologized that Cardona cannot compete in the steel cage match. But a worthy replacement must be found; and found one he did, Marella himself.

We get hype for next week as Rehwoldt and Hannifan NOW get us ready for the main event:

Dog Collar Match: Dani Luna vs. Indi Hartwell

Luna heads out first, does the Ripley stomps and apparently a chain is linked to the cameraman she pulled a chain and the camera came forward. Luna posed and then ran to the ring, grabbed the chain and STRUCK THE POSE. Hartwell came out next and acknowledge the fans whilst looking somewhat focused. Hartwell got in the ring and soaked in the adulation of fans before getting collared. Luna was next but shoved the referee away before she could get collared. Luna yanked the chain and dropped Hartwell to the mat. Luna started to beat on Hartwell and soak in the boos. Hartwell arose and started to whip Luna with the chain. Hartwell put the chain on Luna and the match could start.

However, once again Luna whipped the chain and dropped Hartwell and mauled Hartwell on the mat. Luna choked Hartwell with the chain on he ropes and clotheslined the back of the head. Hartwell tried to rally with a series of punches but Luna regained the momentum with a punch and a series of mocking knees. Ot the head. Luna draped the chain around the ropes and then pulled, snapping Hartwell’s neck on the ropes. She pulled on the chain to bring Hartwell back to the ropes and then hit a body on the ropes.

Hartwell got the comeback spot as she ducked a Luna charge and redirected her to the ropes. Hartwell then clotheslined Luna with the draped chain around the ropes and we are chained to advertisements.

We free ourselves of that but the chain match continued as we come back to Hartwell beating on Luna but Luna draped the chain around the legs and tripped Hartwell. Luna hit a sliding clothesline for a two-count. Luna threw Hartwell to the floor and Luna joined her on the other side of the ring post she pulled the chain and choked Hartwell with the chain she also wrapped the chain around Hartwell. She then started to hit the ensnared Hartwell with the chain.

Hartwell tried to fend off Luna but eventually a running boot to the head connected. Luna unwrapped Hartwell but still pulled on The chain and ran Hartwell’s shoulder into the ringpost twice. However, Hartwell stopped the third attempt and grabbed the chain. Hartwell, now, pulled Luna head first into the ringpost. Hartwell started to beat on Luna as Luna started bleeding.

The two got back in the ring and Hartwell slugged away at Luna. Hartwell rammed Luna into the corner and put her on the top corner. Luna tried to defend herself but Hartwell hit a big boot and dropped Luna to the apron with the chain becoming entangled in the ropes. Hartwell scaled the turnbuckle but Luna slugged her to the amt. Luna climbed to the top and Hartwell tried to defend herself.

Hartwell, on the mat, arose and started to pull on the chain to the point that Luna flew from the top turnbuckle into a Hartwell spinebuster for two-and-a-fraction. A loud “TNA” chant emerged. Hartwell slugged away on Luna but Luna tripped Hartwell with the chain as she hit the ropes. Luna hit the ropes and hit a one-legged dropkick for a two count. Luna went back to the floor and grabbed a bag of powder. However, Hartwell grabbed the chain and the powder spilled on the mat. Hartwell choked Luna with the ropes but Luna shoved Hartwell who bumped the referee. Luna got Hartwell on her shoulders and hit the Luna Landing for the three count.

Post Match: Luna and the crimson mask she now adorned celebrated and taunted the fans.

Impactful Ruminations:

One: This was an odd episode. Usually, there are a cuple of things that are commendable (or condemnable.) This just seemed like it was there. Even Santana’s promo, usually the highlight of a show, was just kind of there. The action was solid and didn’t drag but nothing really popped the imagination. Perhaps it is just a table setter for the (what I think) is the wham portion of the taping next week.

Two: To the main event, collar matches are a staple of days of yore and, whilst not a super extreme fan of it, found myself interested in this match. The chain spots were imaginative and Luna continues to excel and work her way to the top heel of the Knockouts Division. However, the match seemed to end abruptly. It seemed like an odd way to end it after a ref bump and then the Luna Landing. Again, perhaps I am a jaded wrestling fan, but there felt like something was missing. Was the powder spot not supposed to go the way it did? That being said, Luna continued to impress.

Three: Lexis King and “Stacks” Lorenzo are the best of the talkers of the MWO. It is best that the two do the heavy lifting there. Lorenzo is the best of all of them and the way the promos and attention is spread, you could see that everyone acknowledges it. He speaks last for the lasting quote and knows his way around the ring. Jensen and Hygh Ryze are miles behind in mic work. Best to let King and Lorenzo do the talking.

Four: Speaking of talking, Robert Stone is a great addition to Blanchard’s group for 2/3rds of the members. Blanchard is fine and doesn’t need help with any wrestling dimensions (personal skills notwithstanding.) However, Crawford is not great and Moore seemed nervous (her “out of their league, just in their way” line should have hit a lot harder.) Stone can help those two get comfortable whilst Blanchard can carry her own parts.

Five: That was a good promo by Swann. His reclamation is coming along rather nicely and Francis makes a great imposing heel. I still don’t know how the pieces fit completely in the long, long game but for now, they work well.

Six: I can’t wait to see the rematch between Slater and Alexander. They tore the house down in their first match and would love to see the rematch.

Seven: The System try-outs just seem to be water treading. Saint and Sinner are a good team and should get something of a title shot down the road but the do not strike me as serious choices to try out for the System. I think this leads to a huge get down the road.

Eight: With all the hoopla Myla Grace and Harley Hudson got when they arrived over the summer, they have not made significant steps forward. They are just kind of there. They’re all sparkly and cute but in the ring, they could use a lot more work.

Nine: The Righteous. This was another example of it being an odd show with their promo. The Hardys are okay on the mic (Matt exponentially better than Jeff,) but the Righteous seemed to meander a lean way too much into the praise. Vincent did a good job with the end but it just seemed there. I am also thankful that the writers read our message boards because they introduced (reintroduced) themselves. Dutch came off a bit better on the mic. Also, weird note, but their Chryon and visual graphics are way too busy.

Ten: Hartwell did not seemed dressed up for a dog collar match as much as she looked like she was dressed for an L7/Mudhoney concert in 1995.

Eleven: I fully acknowledge but will not make the joke of Heather By Elegance’s diminutive size and her dressed as an elf. We got the Personal Concierge, so it’s a win. Also, we still don’t have a Mr. By Elegance.

Lastly: It was a choice to have Marella as the guy who replaces Cardona in the match next week. I am sure nothing bad will happen and their won’t be any shenanigans that occur. Nope, everything will be fine and won’t be anything resembling familial conflict there. Nosiree, all is well.
