TNA Impact Review – 11.20.25

We’re (Full) Sailing Away/ Set an Open Course for TNA. We are once again in Orlando at Full Sail University for anther episode of TNA Impact Wrestling. We are preparing for Final Resolution and preparing for Genesis in January in Dallas. We have Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on announcing and Gia Miller and McKenzie Miller are also on deck as we cast anchor on the way to some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

We get an “In Memorial” honoring longtime TNA photographer George Tahinos

We also get a recap of the main event of TNA Turning Point when Mike Santana joined Steve Maclin late for his main event tag match against Frankie Kazarian and Nick Nemeth. Santana won the match with a Spin the Block on Kazarian. The victory was short lived as all the faces were beaten down by the MWO. The heels, too, get the beaten down, including Kazarian, who some feel was the one who organized the group.

Santana starts the show for the opening interview. The crowd gave Santana a standing ovation and a loud “Santana” chant. Santana grabbed a chair and sat down in the middle of the ring. He looked around the crowd and told them he loved them all to death. One month ago, he was on top of the world. He got to accomplish his dream he fought his entire life. He shared it with his daughter who saved his life. The moment will live with him the rest of his life.

Cut to last week, he said he celebrated anther accomplishment – 1000 days sober. Twenty-four hours later, it was all snatched from him. We live life on life’s term. When you think you’re on top, life will humble you really quick. Things got really dark. For the first time on the journey, he was scared – of himself. In the past, he would react with rage, but he didn’t this time. He had to check in with himself and went to a meeting. In that meeting, he realized TNA fans deserved for him to be there. They paid their hard earned money to get an escape. They bleive3d in him and rode with him. And he is eternally grateful for that.

He had it all in his hands, literally. That made me want that much more. He called about Kazarian and said he has something that belongs to him. Don’t get too comfortable, because the title is coming back to Papi. Before he gets to him, he has something to say to the MWO. Listen to him, loud and clear. He knows they’re watching. HE will let you know he is going to [pick them off one by one until there is nothing left. He is going to make them regret stepping into TNA. He has been through it, the fans know it and soon, the MWO will know it. He gave them fair warning – beware.

We cut to Santino Marella on the phone as Kazarian walks into the frame. Kazarian said everyone said he had a part and they all owe him n apology. He wants a written apology signed by TNA President Carlos Silva. Marella said he is busy right now and has an appointment with JDC. JDC, being a fellow of alacrity, instantly walked into frame and insulted Kazarian’s wardrobe. Kazarian asked when was the last time someone cared about him. He said why doesn’t he ride off into the sunset and marry his handler. JDC said he likes Kazarian and jokes around with him behind the camera but never mention JDC’s wife. He asked for a title shot. Kazarian asked what has he remotely done. Marella had an idea, JDC faces Eric Young tonight. If JDC wins, he faces Kazarian. Kazarian was disgusted and said he hoped Young cripples him. JDC said bring your scarf.

It was announced earlier that the Knockout World Champ Kelani Jordan’s opponent at Final Resolution would be determined by two four-way Women’ matches tonight. The winner of the two would face each other in two weeks. The winner of that gets the title shot against Jordan. And, the first match is next

Four Way Match: Myla Grace vs. Dani Luna vs. Rosemary vs. Indi Hartwell

Hey, there they are, Grace (with Harley Hudson in tow) come out first. Two people who were part of the TNA Knockouts competition in the United Kingdom. Speaking of British folks, Dani Luna is next to a decent salvo of boos. Speaking of boos (spooky kind) Rosemary is next. She gets to the ring and crawls around ringside and accosts the fans. Hartwell is last and gets a sizable pop as Luna glares at her from her seated position on the turnbuckles. Hartwell caught her glance and glared back at her from the apron.

The action started instantly as Luna hits a one legged dropkick on Luna. Grace dropped Luna and Rosemary with a series of kicks and a drop kick to the tandem. She hit Luna with running back elbow and did the same to Rosemary but cleared the way so a charging Luna hit Rosemary. Grace followed it with a running big boot to Rosemary, giving Grace a chance to pose on the apron until Luna attempted a deadlift German Suplex until Luna escaped.

However, a big boot dropped Grance to the floor and Luna was got ready to square off with Hartwell until Rosemary pulled Grace to the apron and beat on her. Rosemary rolled Grace back into the ring but Hartwell managed to thwart a German Suplex attempt and ran Rosemary into Grace who pounded Roesmary in the corner. A Hurts Donut was teased but Hartwell instead slugged Rosemary with a forearm smash. She also hist a series of body slams on Rosemary and Grace; the second one was a slam of Grace onto Rosemary.

Hartwell grabbed an armlock but Grace fought out of it. Hartwell, though, threw Grace into the corner and hit a side suplex for two. Hartwell slugged Grace as an odd dueling chant of “Let’s go Indi/Rosemary” arose, seemingly baffling Hartwell. Hartwell threw Grace into the corner again but Grace kicked Hartwell and got a two count. Grace hit the chinlock but Hartwell arose but Grace cinched in the hold and dropped Hartwell again.

Hartwell eventually escaped but Grace put the boots to her and threw her into a corner and hit a forearm smash to the corner. A snapmare out of the corner got a two count. Hartwell tried to fight out of it but two suplex attempts were blocked. Grace threw Hartwell to the ropes and Grace hit the ropes, herself, but Rosemary grabbed Hartwell’s legs on the floor and dragged her out. Luna did the same to Grace and rammed Grace’s back to the apron.

Rosemary continued to beat on Hartwell and Luna did the same to Grace on the other side. Rosemary accosted Hudson as Luna dragged Grace into the ring. Luna worked Grace’s arm with an elbow dropped. Rosemary, meanwhile, had Hartwell in a straitjacket hold as Luna got a series of two-counts on Grace.

Rosemary eventually dragged Hartwell into the ring but Rosemary prevented Luna from attacking. Rosemary choked Hartwell and Luna choked Grace in the corner. Grace tried to escape but Luna slugged her in the corner. Rosemary bit Hartwell in the other corner. Luna locked in a chinlock submission as we go to break.

We come back from break with Rosemary hitting the Upside Down on Hartwell on the ropes as Luna continued to lock the chinlock on Grace and landed a series of knees and fists. Hartwell turned the tide by booting rosemary as she charged. Hartwell dropped Rosemary with a series of clothesline and a spinebuster got two until Luna broke up the pin attempt. Luna grabbed Hartwell but a quick pin got two and a series of punches sent Luna reeling, Hartwell did the same to Rosemary. Grace, however, was perched on the top turnbuckle. Hartwell ducked a Rosemary and Luna clothesline and Grace hit Rosemary with missile dropkick.

Garce hit the top turnbuckle and hit a sky twister press to the Rosemary on the floor. Meanwhile, Luna and Hartwell continued to slug each other until Hartwell broke it up with a big boot. The two escaped the other’s finisher and hit the ropes and collided with each other dropping the feuding Knockouts. Rosemary recovered and dropped Grace. She searched under the ring for a chain. She wrapped the chain around her fist but Grace sent Rosemary into the ringpost.

As she did that, the chain slid into the ring. Hartwell tried to get Luna on her shoulders but Luna escaped and slid to the corner with the chain. The referee was distracted with Rosemary and Grace. That gave Luna a chance to grab the chain, slug Hartwell and get the twin.

Post Match: Luna grabbed the chain again and celebrated the victory.

We go backstage with Young talking to two of his flunkies to help them pass out fliers and have the fans see the truth as they do. Miller walked into frame to ask Young about his thoughts against JDC. His thoughts are this – do the math. If JDC wins, he gets a title shot. What does Young get? A pat on the back? Santino is a puppet and behind everything that is happening here. HE’s trying to ruin this place and trying to ruin him. Young will beat JDC; he will show the world the truth and the cleanse is coming and there is nothing we can do about it. We certainly can’t do anything about commercials, because they’re next.

Before we get back to action, we get a hype piece for Full Sail University and it’s state of the art production studios. It gives students firsthand experience in productions and the tools to power the entertainment industry. .

We also get Marella and Arianna Grace talking. Marella is flummoxed how the MWO got into the building. Grace doesn’t know but after Santaa arrived the security must have left. Marella said too many people have suffered and Marella has an idea. He decided to open the doors to let them inside. Steve Maclin and the Hardys come into frame. Maclin asked if they are talking about the MWO invasion (well, yeah..) The Hardys said they walked into their house and did this and yeah, Marella should open the doors wide open. Marella said he just needed something to bait them. Hardy said they have the best bait and held up the tag titles.

Hannifan agreed that it was a great idea and give Santana a good chance to get revenge.

Matt Cardona vs. Mance Warner (with Steph DeLander in tow)

Warner is out first. Hannifan harkened back to the Bound For Glory when Cardona threw Warner over the top rope in the “Call Your Shot” Battle Royal. There is a significant lack of PDA for the tandem. We get the sounds of “Wooo…”; kidding, “Always Ready” as Cardona made his way to the ring. Hannifan congratulated Caronda and Nick Nemeth for their participation in the John Cena’s “Last Time is Now” tournament (albeit they both lost.)

Enough of that, though, as Warner attacked Cardona before the bell and put the boots to him. However, Cardona got his knees up as Warner charged the corner and followed it with a clothesline and flying forearm. He also set Warner up for the ReBoot but DeLander pulled Warner out of the way and NOW we get some PDA. Cardona remained undaunted in his attack and dropkicked Warner between the ropes and Warner sprawled to the floor to a big pop.

Warner tried to escape up the walkway but Caronda grabbed him and slammed him into the ringsteps repeatedly. Cardona threw Warner into the ring and set up Warner for Radio Silence until DeLander grabbed his leg as a distraction. Cardona attempted Radio Silence but Warner caught him and hit a powerbomb for a two count. Warner put the boots to him a gain and chopped away on Cardona. Warner choked and bit Cardona on the ropes and DeLander choked him on the ropes, too, as Warner distracted the referee.

The two traded chops and got the best of it until Warner hit Cardona with a boot. Warner tried for Knee Pad Up, Knee Pad Down but Cardona eluded it and hit a spinebuster. Both combatants writhed on the canvas but both arose and traded shots. Warner hit a double thrust but he charged Cardona, who met with a flapjack for a two count. Cardona followed it with a backdrop reversal and slammed Warner head first to the canvas.

Cardona pounded on Warner in the corner and NOW we get the ReBoot for two-and-a-fraction. Cardona collected himself and got the crowd riled Cardona tried for an unprettier but Warner broke it with a back rake and a forearm to the back. Warner grabbed a headlock and a Bulldog Driver and running knee to the head got two-and-a-fraction.

Waner limped to the corner and DeLander gave him a chair which was quickly removed by the referee. However, DeLander also gave Warner her purse. This gave Cardona a chance to recover and NOW we get Radio Silence for two until DeLander pulled Warner’s leg on the ropes. DeLander and Cardona started to argue. This gave Warner a chance to recover and hit Cardona with the purse; he also Hit the Pay Window for the victory.

Post Match: Hannifan wonde3red what was in the purse, Rehwoldt said we may never know but Warner remained victorious and that Warner is looking for big things in 2026.

Speaking of things, it’s time for the Bio Flex Medical Report. After the attack last Thursday (and his Turning Point Match on Friday) Santana tore his UCL but is cleared to wrestle. Elijah set a major setback on his comeback after Mustafa Ali attacked him with his guitar. Also, all TNA wrestlers that were attacked by the MWO have been checked and are cleared for action.

Speaking of which, we go outside earlier with Robert Stone with the MWO. He said TNA came into their world and threw the first punch and we flipped the script but now they are the bad guys? The guys from Hygh Ryze said the last time they had static and they ended the issue. Everyone said they should be glad for their opportunity but they’re not. They’re done waiting for opportunities. Brooks Jensen asked Cardona how his neck is doing. Dempsey asked Santana how is arm is doing (well, if he listened to the Bio Flex report, he’d know.) he said he is a proper wrestler and knows how to lock in an armlock.

Channing said turning point was their turning point; he settled for second place for too long as his wallet is lighter for it. He also said to Marella that his hands are clean. Stone said everyone thinks he is the guy behind this but he’s not. Lexus King said they are going to shatter TNA into millions of pieces and all of the King’s horses and all of the King’s men couldn’t put TNA together again.

We get a rundown of the rest of tonight’s card including a match between John Skyler vs. Myron Reed next. Actually, commercials are next; but afterwards…..

When we come back, we see Cardona standing outside by some palettes. He said he is already ready but not for tonight. He said DeLander knows him better than anyone else and she told Warner about him (well, that’s called scouting.) HE thought Warner was family but apparently not. It’s a business, not a family and it’s about who is getting into the top spot. The two want that spot. So, in El Paso, it’s a street fight. He can bring whoever he liked but he is the Death Match King.

John Skyler vs. Myron Reed

Skyler comes out alone with no members of Order Four to be found. Reed is out next and is solo, too. They altered the intro slightly so we don’t get the faux tagging action. Reed does the hello gesture with the fans as he got into the ring.

Both guys look away for a split second and that gave Skyler a chance to shoulder block and run Reed into the corner. Skyler beat on Reed until the referee broke up the attack. Reed threw Skyler to the ropes, slid under Skyler , did the matrix dodges and then hit Skyler with an enziguri. Reed ran from the corner but Skyler backdropped him. Reed landed on his feet in the apron and leapt back into the ring to attempt a monkey flip but Skyler caught him and drove Reed into the corner. He followed it with a Russian Legsweep for two.

Skyler pounded on Reed and taunted the crowd. Skyler threw Reed face first into the turnbuckles and continued to argue with fans. He threw Reed to the canvas ad hit a go behind bear hug on the mat. Reed got to his feet and elbowed out of the hold. Skyler grabbed Reed but the Rascal backflipped out of the hold and hit a forearm. Skyler did not fall and hit Reed with a clothesline that dropped him for a two count.

Skyler picked up Reed and taunted him but missed a clothesline but a right hand landed. However, Reed recovered and hit a running big boot to Skyler off the ropes. Reed arose and grabbed Skyler but Skyler elbowed out of it. However, Skyler threw Reed to the ropes but Reed landed on the apron. Skyler missed a shoulder block between the ropes and Reed hit a legdrop on the apron.

Reed climbed to the top rope but Skyler charged Reed; so, Reed rolled out of the jump and hit another enziguri on Skyler. They repeated the same spot earlier but this time as Reed charged Skyler in the corner but NOW Reed hit the lungblower in his leap back into the ring. Reed hit Skyler with a slingshot back suplex and Skyler went to the floor. Reed hit the ropes and attempted the Flame On. However, Skyler hit Reed with a slingshot shoulderblock before Reed could make the leap for a two count.

Skyler grabbed Reed attempted a suplex but Reed reversed it into a Stundog Millionaire. As both men struggled to get to their feet, we get a Picture in Picture outside as Agent Zero and Tasha Steelz are seen standing over the other Rascalz with Zero getting his jacket back from Steelz. In the ring, Reed charged Skuyler in the corner but Skyler caught him with a leaping knee. Reed countered with a stunner after another matrix dodge by Reed.

Reed attempted another Flame On but Skyler dropped from the apron to the floor. So, Reed dove over the ropes and hit Syler with a flying Splash (filed under “didn’t get all of it.” IT still got a “TNA” chant. However, Reed saw Jason Hotch approaching down the ramp. Reed climbed to the apron and attempted a sunset flip over the ropes on Skyler on the mat after shoulderblocking Skyler in the abdomen. However, Hotch ran to ringside and grabbed Skyler’s leg to flip him on top of Reed. Skyler grabbed the rope for extra leverage as Hotch rolled up Reed for the win.

Post Match: Rehwoldt said teamwork makes the dreamwork as Reed protested to the referee about the shenanigans.

We get highlights of Turning Point as we see Leon Slater pin Rich Swann. We go to earlier today by an ATM machine (get it, because it’s money..) with AJ Francis and Swann. Francis said he has to be honest, Swann let First Class down after Swann he didn’t need Francis’ help. He took the L instead of the X-Division championship. Furthermore, Swann shook Slater’s hand.

Swann defended himself bay saying he has been in the business for 20 years and said Slater has it. He beat fair and square and it was just a bit of sportsmanship. Francis asked why he is lecturing him on sportsmanship when Francis played in the NFL. He doesn’t care about sportsmanship; he cares about success. Francis was successful at Turning Point when he dominated BDE. What did Swann do? He lost the match to some kid from London who thinks he’s the future. He’s not, Francis is.

This brought Slater into the frame who said how is Francis the future because he’s old. If he has something to say, Francis can take off his glasses and say it to his face. Francis did and said he would say it to his face but it looks like he has some First Class property around his neck. Slater said he and Swann tore it up at Turning Point and has mad respect for him but not so much for Francis.

Francis said Slater wasn’t alive in the 1990’s but when children didn’t have respect, they beat it into him. Slater argued with Francis and Francis said careful what you wish for – you might just get it. Slater said he would talk to Marella about making the match. Francis walked off frame as Swann looked at both and some what dejectedly walked with Swann after he called for him. We get called away for commercials.

When we come back, we get another hype piece for Bound For Glory: Fade to Black. We also get the latest installment of the Mr. Elegance contest. The Personal Concierge is the host as the By Elegance Brand is the co-hosts. It’s set up as an ersatz Dating Game where they can’t peek behind the curtain to see the contestants.

We get the first contestant and Ash said she recognized the voice and broke the rule by running behind to the curtain to see who it is and ran off with him. We get the PC’s Chuck Woolery impression as we cut to the contestant putting his pants on (no, don’t do that) and said there was nothing Elegant about that. Ash said he was disqualified because he broke all the rules

We go to contestant number two. He is a stylish guy by the name of Jamie Stanley. The PC took umbrage with his suit. He said the only person that could pull off a salmon suit is Mark Henry (Tee-Hee.) The PC sent him away and disqualified him. Contestant number three is a gentleman with long dreads and muscular build named Alejandro (PC called him Alerando.) Heather had a couple of questions to ask him. Heather asked about a type of steroid bodybuilders use and Alejandro had no answers to the question. PC asked if he had any last comments. Alejandro flattered the By Elegance Brand members and said he really needs the job and could change his life. If they find it in their heart, choose them. They By Elegance Brand seemed moved…until they called him a loser in chorus. PC dismissed him and said “don’t call us, we’ll call you.” Alejandro thought he really made a connection today. He thinks he loved them. However, PC went full Chuck Woolery and said goodbye for this week’s installment of the search for Mr. Elegance.

Victoria Crawford vs. Jody Threat vs. Killer Kelly vs. Xia Brookside.

Crawford danced on the way to the ring as Blanchard cooly walked. Crawford got on the turnbuckles and waved around her jacket. Threat was next and did he usual spastic and hyper run around the ring and in the ring as Crawford and Blanchard bailed to the floor. Hey, Kelly is focused on the main show as she walked and crawled to the ring bathed in her red light. She started to look and Crawford and Blanchard who fearfully ran to the other side of the ring. Brookside is out last and prances to the ring in Union Jack jacket and trunks.

Crawford and Brookside paired off as did Kelly and Threat. The tandems traded shots until Threat threw Kelly out of the ring and did the same to Crawford. Brookside dove from the apron onto the heels. Brookside got back into the ring with Threat. The two measured the other but Threat dodged a Brookside charge into a headlock. She also got Brookside on her shoulders for the Pop Shove It but Brookside escaped but could not pull off a cradle. Threat grabbed her but Brookside escaped. Brookside tried for a tilt-a-whirl headscissors but Threat escaped that.

Threat landed a series of boots and hit the ropes but Kelly grabbed her leg and dragged her to the floor. Meanwhile, Crawford squared off with Brookside again and Brookside landed a back elbow in the corner. Threat and Kelly continued to fight on the floor as Brookside dropped Crawford to the floor and hit a Meteora and a Broken Wings for a two count. Brookside caught Crawford in an abdominal stretch as we take a stretch during commercials.

We return with all four combatants back in the ring. Brookside avoided another Crawford charge on the apron and slugged Crawford. Kelly took some time away from Threat to land a forearm to drop Brookside to the floor. Kelly went back to Threat but Threat managed to throw Kelly to the apron between the ropes. Crawford snuck behind her and slugged Threat. Kelly continued to beat on Threat as the announce team is graced with Blanchard’s presence who said she can’t believe what is happening as the other combatants are taking advantage of Crawford. And, as she is saying that, Kelly did attack Crawford. Blanchard said that the two of them are on a different level than others. Blanchard said the two of them should be tag champions.

Meanwhile, Kelly and Threat continued to beat on each other. Threat landed a boot to drop Kelly but Crawford instantly grabbed Crawford and threw her to the floor. Whilst that happened, Brookside made her way back to the ring and beat on Crawford and got her on her shoulders. Blanchard instantly left commentary and went back to ringside. Kelly landed a one-legged dropkick do drop Crawford and Brookside and got a two-count on the Angelic Warrior. Kelly put Brookside on the tope turnbuckle. Kelly climbed the turnbuckles and hit a stretch submission hold in a Tree of Woe like hold. This gave Threat a chance to hit a running dropkick on Brookside as they both fell to the mat.

Threat draped Kelly on the ropes and a Meteora to the back of Kelly on the ropes and hit a German Suplex for a two count. Brookside attempted an attack but Threat threw her to the ropes and caught her with a Michinoku Driver for two until Kelly interrupted the pin. Kelly put the Killer Clutch on Threat BUT threat got to her feet and drove Kelly to the turnbuckles. Kelly sat on the turnbuckles and grabbed Threat’s hair. However, Threat managed to escape and Crawford hit a flying kick on Kelly.

Threat hit a seated dropkick and Crawford went to the floor. Threat leapt on her from the apron. This gave Brookside a chance to recover, grab Kelly on the turnbuckles and hit the Brooksy Bomb for the win.

Post Match: stood on the turnbuckles and celebrated alone on the turnbuckles.

Now, we get a vignette from Jayda Stone. She calls herself “The Spark” – Superior, Passionate, Athletic, resilient and Kick Your Glutes. Her brother actually gave her the nickname, as he was a huge wrestling fan because it was always on and they only had one TV. She was trained at OVW by Al Snow and Doug Bashem and at the NJPW Dojo by Fred Rosser and Kushida. She met Tommy Dreamer at Wreslecade and everywhere he was, she made sure he remembered her.

She had a tryout and lost. She felt defeated and wasn’t sure about wrestling because her opportunity was gone. Looking back, she was 18 and started wrestling at 17. She was a young girl who wanted to know anything and realized she was coming into a mature business at such a young age. She had to mature and got another chance.

She wrestled – Moore (from last week’s vignette) and lost. She saw Dreamer, Silva and Jazz and thought she messed up her opportunity because she was so close but so far. When Dreamer said even when you lose, you when; she knew she did something right and got signed. She got to talk to Bayley and she congratulated her. She plans to climb her way to the top and show why they call her “The Spark.”

We see JDC and Young getting ready for the main event match – next; well, commercials, but you get the rest.

When we do return, Marella announced some matches for their card in El Paso – Mike Santana vs. Charlie Dempsey, The Hardys vs. Hygh Ryze, Steve Maclin vs. Stacks, the Home Town Man faces Brooks Jensen, Santana does double duty as he fights Robert Stone and an eight-tag match as the Hardys, Maclin and Cedric Alexander face Hygh Ryze, King and Stacks. Rehwoldt and Hannifan agreed it’s a bold move. Kelani Jordan defends her title against either Brookside or Luna, Slater vs. Francis for the X-Division title and Cardona faces Warner.

We also get TNA Heavyweight Champion Frankie Kazarian on commentary for the main event. Kazarian got loudly booed but Rehwoldt welcomed him as Hannifan remained stoic. Kazarian (to Hannifan) “That face could make an onion cry..”

Eric Young vs. JDC (with the System in tow)

Young is out first awashed in the orange light and adorned in the mask and the poncho. Hannifan talked about his “cleanse” movement. The alarm sound could only mean one thing – JDC is on way to the ring to a decent pop. Both JDC and Kazarian were trained by Killer Kowalski. As Kazarian ran down JDC on the mic saying Kowalski was not a fan of JDC. Young attacked with a series of elbows to the back of JDC. JDC stemmed the attack hitting a back elbow off the ropes as Young bailed to the floor. Youn jawed at the fans. He grabbed JDC’s leg and dragged him to the floor.

The two started brawling with JDC getting the upper hand with a series of chops. JDC threw him into the ring and whipped him into the corner and got a huge backdrop on Young as he bailed to the floor. JDC gave chase to Young but when JDC got back into the ring, Young met him with a series of boots. Hannifan said one moment of relief he got last Friday was the MWO beating on Kazarian as proof he didn’t orchestrate the “invasion.”

JDC reversed a whip to the corner into one of his own but Young hit the (Flin Flon) Flip and ran the apron. JDC tried to hit him but Young got him with ashoulderblock and slid under JDC’s legs. However, JDC got the upper hand again with a series of punches and a discus clothesline. JDC also hit a bodypress over the ropes to Young on the floor. JDC took time to gyrate in front of Kazarian, much to Kazarian’s disgust. JDC continued to beat on Young in front of Kazarian and even pointed at Kazarian as Young landed one more shot.

Kazarian got a two count when the two hit the ring and then grabbed an armlock. Young backed him to the corner and kneed him. Young started to beat on JDC and dropped him with a slam on the turnbuckles. He continued to jaw at the fans and run JDC into the turnbuckles. Young threw JDC to the turnbuckles but JDC backflipped over Young and hit an armdrag into an armlock.

JDC continued to work the arm by stomping on the arm and an armtrap suplex for two. Young broke the hold by raking the eyes and getting a neck wrench on JDC. JDC tried to elbow out but Young caught JDC with a sleeperhold off the ropes but JDC escaped with a back suplex. JDC made it to his feet and climbed to the top turnbuckle. However, Young used the ref as a human shield. Young pushed the referee aside and knocked JDC off the top turnbuckle to the floor.

Young posed in the crowd. Hannifin talked about the possible Kazarian vs. JDC match at Final Resolution in El Paso in two weeks. JDC worked hard, Kazarian did admit he is more than just a dancer and has worked hard to get there. Meanwhile, Young dropped a forearm on JDC on the apron and got a two count in the ring. Young got a bodyslam and climbed to the top turnbuckle but missed a moonsault. Both combatants were on the mat.

They both arose but JDC was a discotheque on fire as he hit a series of running back elbows in the corner and a Russian Legsweep. He then got a Michinoku Driver of his own for two. Young blocked a backdrop attempt off the ropes and threatened to hit the piledriver until JDC backdropped him. Young held on but JDC sat down for a cradle and got a two count. A spinning heel kick got a two count. JDC got Young in the corner and put him on the turnbuckles. JDC attempted a superplex but Young fought (and bit) to get out and send JDC to the floor. Young hit a flying elbowdrop for a two count.

Young took umbrage with the referee and threatened to hit him twice. JDC took the time to sneak behind him and charge but Young had the wherewith all to evade the charge and JDC nearly clobbered the referee. Young seized the moment by hitting a low bow and hitting a Death Valley Driver for a two count.

Young was incredulous by this and started to accost the referee. Young paused for a moment and slugged JDC. JDC retaliated and a series with JDC getting the best. Another kick to the abdomen and Young tried another piledriver but JDC carried Young to the top turnbuckle. JDC tried another superplex but Young slugged JDC. Young fell to the apron and JDC remained seated on the turnbuckles.

Young recovered and started to point at Kazarian on the floor. Young mounted the top turnbuckles and attempted a piledriver form the top. JDC, again, backdropped him to the mat. JDC got his bearings and hit the Down and Dirty from the top for the win and get the title shot against Kazarian at Final Resolution.

Post Match: JDC and Kazarian gestured at each other as show concludes.

Impactful Ruminations:

One: Santana nailed another amazing promo. It was natural and never once raised his voice. Despite pro wrestling being just that, you just want to root for him no matter what. He hits amazing chords with people and he made you feel the words, not just listen, feel. That is the makings of great work.

Two: Luna and Brookside make for an odd dynamic for a match. I was wondering if Brookside would get any semblance of a quality win versus being jobbed repeatedly. Lo and behold, she won. She will probably be a sacrificial lamb but good to see they are trying something different. Luna continues to impress and the math has some aura of doubt who is gong to win in two weeks.

Three: I feel you, Hartwell. A Rosemary chant in 2025 would be befuddling for me, too.

Four: The Jayda Stone promo needed work. It started solidly but just started to tapir off at the end. It was almost the mirror opposite of Moore’s vignette last Thursday.

Five: The Mr. Elegance vignette was an odd one and glad they kept the carnal nature to a minimum. It had some moments but hopefully better ones lay ahead. The Mark Henry reference was funny, points to the Personal Concierge for that one.

Six: Tell me you’re planning on moving on from Cardona without telling me you’re planning on moving on from Cardona. I am not a real Warner fan so this feud is odd and baffling. It’s not turfing Hendry to Young, but there has to be a better way.

Seven: Speaking of Young, the “cleanse” idea and nutty cultish leader is tired and cliché but he can still put together a solid match. Why we’re here, kudos to JDC for a solid match and his final bow with a title match vs. Kazarian.

Eight: I still think Killer Kelly is not being used correctly. That’s me being me but there is so much you could do with her.

Nine: I reckon we get a program with Order Four vs. The Rascalz. I am not a Rascalz fan so Order Four should win fairly solidly and hopefully set them up for some title chases – be it single or tag team.

Ten: Hey, there’s Myla Grace and Harley Hudson. They still need a lot of work but maybe they can work more on the main roster on Impact.

Lastly: A J Francis made an appearance and I like the belittlement of Swann (in front of an ATM for your jackhammer subtly moment.) Francis, again, shone brightly in his work with Swann and with Slater on the mic.
