TNA Impact/A Very Hardy Halloween Special – 10.30.25

By Scott Herrin on 31 October 2025

We’re still on Autumn Break on TNA but that doesn’t mean the content stops churning. Oh no, quite the opposite. With tomorrow being Halloween, we get another special episode with a theme – “A Very Hardy Halloween.” So, get yourself a Kit Kat or a Three Musketeers (maybe a Twix) bar, check the closets for the bogeyman and enjoy a spooky Impactful Discourse, shall we? We shall.

(Note: these matches are clipped highlights of myriad events and matches at the compound.)

We get the Hardys in Broken (Matt Hardy) and Nero (Jeff Hardy) mode who talk about the great times in TNA and in the Hardy Compound. Matt tells us we get all the characters tonight, including Senor Bemjamin and “Smokin’” Joe Frazier (note, not THAT one.) We will cover the events that has happened there, starting with “the Final Deletion.” Matt said everything Hardy was on the line and the match was orgasmic.

We see the referee pull up and incredulously ask what this is. Matt asked if he is licensed and said he had one job, to either count the pin or the submission. Under no circumstance should Nero be resuscitated. Matt beckoned his brother by violin given to Matt by Antonio Stratevardi. Sure enough, it worked as Jeff Rides his dirt bike to the ring as Matt said he knew he’d come. This match will be Jeff’s true Armageddon, according to Matt.

The match started with the two slugging away at each other. Matt attempted a bulldog but was run into the turnbuckles. He countered with a booting to the charging Jeff. Matt got on the turnbuckles but Jeff met him there and dropped him to the mat via a super plex. Running splash off the ropes got two. Jeff went out to their ring and got a flowered lattice and placed it on the turnbuckles. Jeff ran him there for a two count.

Matt reversed a whip to the ropes with a boot and a Twist of Fate got two. Matt grabbed a cane and went to town on Jeff, particularly his right leg. Matt went out the ring for a ladder and battered Jeff with hit. He placed the bottom run of the ladder on Jeff’s throat in the turnbuckles. Matt started to attack Jeff but Jeff reversed it into a Twist of Fate of his own. Jeff climbed to the top turnbuckle and hit the Swanton Bomb for two.

Jeff propped the ladder on the ropes and hit another Twist of Fate; the recoil sent Matt on the ladder. Jeff beat on Matt and then wen outside the ring to a huge ladder on a tree. Jeff climbed the ladder and then part of the tree and hit a Swanton Bomb – but Matt moved and Jeff crashed into the ladder. Matt got a two count on a subsequent pin attempt. Matt then attacked Jef with a chair and then grabbed a firecracker shooter and launched the firecrackers at Jeff, you used a trash can lid as a shield.

After he ran out of fireworks, the crickets almost became deafening. It was broken by Matt beckoning “brother Nero” and grabbed a hoe to finish the job. Matt looked in horror to what Jeff did – he had his own firecracker launcher and went after Matt. Matt found some refuge behind Skarsgaard, the boat. Jeff continued to pelt the boat with fireworks. Once Jeff ran out, he attacked Matt but Matt got a sleeperhold until Jeff flung himself and his brother in water.

Matt arose and said his brother has been flushed but Jeff emerged in his Willow regalia. He started to choke Matt until Benjamin tasered Jeff/Willow. Matt arose and called for Brother Nero. Nero staggered toward the tasered Willow and beckoned the referee to make the count. He got the three count and unmasked Willow -as Senor Benjamin. As Matt staggered across the compound, Jeff attacked him and hit a sleeper hold calling for his brother and asking if he was broken. Matt was unconscious as Jeff again climbed a ladder on top of a huge Hardys logo; we get a flashback to myriad birthdays as someone gave Matt a candle. Mat revived and Jeff missed the dive on top of a huge pile of sand. Matt crawled over and got the pin on Jeff as the Hardys logo was ablaze.

Jeff didn’t think it could have gotten any better but Delete or Decay did the trick and that is coming next…after the break.

Matt welcomed us back and said these events must be documented, ergo why this special is transpired and preps us for “Delete or Decay.” When asked by Matt, Jeff said his favorite tag match on the compound was Decay (Abyss, Crazy Steve and Rosemary.) Matt said it was special and said this is where Jeff embraced “Brother Nero.” Matt said he was going to let him jump off the top rope and called him a “spot monkey.” He also complimented Jeff on his selfless act of taking a shot from Abyss from him.

We go to the match and see Jeff, Senor Benjamin, Rebecca and King Maxel. We’re are in the compound’s zoo, where Matt believed they can get and embrace their animal instincts. Also, Matt has become Dr. Doolittle and can communicate with them. We start with what some may see as a normal giraffe but it is George Washington. Matt consulted with George; George reciprocated by stealing his hat.

Next, we see Matt arrange a sparring session between Jeff and Frazier. Frazier is a kangaroo. Matt said the match will be delightful. Jeff and Frazier ”tangle” before the session is called and Frazier focuses his attention Matt.

Next we see a bunch of spot monkeys; no, not the Rascalz (zingo!!!!!) Instead, we see the monkey enclosure with DJ Z, Andrew Everett, Mandrews and Nick and Matt – the Bucks of youth. Jeff finds a copacetic soul in Z.

We go to see Mr. Gingas Khan, a tiger. Matt talked to Khan and said the enemies are approaching and the armada of Decay will be there tonight. We get a jump edit and see someone getting a bite to eat at a convenience store and heads down a dark highway until he sees a leather clad lady in kabuki make up making her way up the highway – it is Rosemary. She walked past the truck. Naturally, the guy backs up and hits on her, calling her sugar, saying she could ride all night.

However, this is a ruse as Decay jump on the truck, maul the guy and steal the truck and left the driver depanted on the road. Abyss is in the driver’s seat and said Cameron is beautiful this time of year. Everyone laughed as they made their way to the compound.

The trio made their way to the compound and see Benjamin digging holes. Steve asked what he was doing; Bemjamin said he was digging their graves. Abyss yelled at him as they mad their way through he compound. Benjamin showed his “delete” shovel and we pan out and back to the Decay making their way through purple light. Rosemary called it “home sweet home” as they approach the Hardy house. They spy on Reby and Maxel and watch them via the window. We see a spider web as Abyss sings the “Mockingbird” children’s song.

Suddenly, Matt appeared and said he knew they’d come. Decay sprung into action and pursued Matt. They catch up to them only to find all three Hardys standing with firework launchers. Abyss said this is not beautiful and all beat a hasty retreat. We get a deluge of fireworks as Decay tried to find some refuge but the Hardys kept charging. In the smoke, Matt told Rebecca to protect Maxel which is paramount. Matt and Jeff will handle Decay. We get a litany of firecrackers until finds refuge behind Skarsgard. Abyss held them off with the boat as he sent Steve and Rosemary to the house. Matt makes a final rush and booted the boat but Abyss was gone. Benjamin came to see to Matt and said he had to get the boat for Jeff.

Matt arose and called for Rosemary to come into the light. Benjamin, meanwhile, grabbed the boat and texted someone. But, lo and behold, Andrew Park, esquire emerged from the water an said he loved “Private Benjamin” in the Final Deletion. He asked if he has seen Chris and wanted to give Benjamin a hug, which earned him a tase. Benjamin took the backhoe with Park’s prone body in the digging bucket.

When we return from break, Crazy Stee attacks Jef in the fire pit but Jeff got the best of the fight. Jeff hit a gourdbuster in the Hardy pool and continued to fight underwater. Meanwhile, Matt continued to look for Rosemary. Benjamin dug the grave for Park/abyss. Jeff was successful in subduing Steve with a sleeperhold in the water until Steve did the Friday the 13th and grabbed Jeff and dragged him into the water.

Benjamin finalized the grave but heard a sound. When he checked on Park’s grave, Abyss arose and choked him. Steve continued to attack Jeff with a floatation device but Jeff recovered. Steve uttered something in audible and chased Jeff as he escaped. Meanwhile, Matt caught Rosemary who hid behind a tree. When he looked around the tree, Abyss attacked him with the spiked baseball bat. He told Rosemary to “go get your baby.”

Abyss beat on Matt who recovered and said Abyss is nothing but vermin. Abyss attempted to swing away at Matt with the bat but Jeff pushed Matt out of the way and Jeff took the baseball bat shot (so, that’s what they meant.) Jeff started to fade but had the all-white contact lenses. Matt said the act was so unselfish.
However, Steve caught up to Abyss and it was a two-on-one until Vanguard entered the fray. Vanguard’s arial assault fended off the heels as the flames from the attack formed the Hardy logo.

BUT WAIT, not all is won. Rosemary got to the compound and we see a shot of a prone Rebecca on the floor as Rosemary has Maxel in her grasp. However, even Rosemary is no match for Vanguard as he stopped Rosemary and demanded she drop Maxel. She said she would gladly do it as Vanguard told Maxel to run. Maxel ran but Rosemary red misted Vanguard causing him to go offline.

Rosemary called for Maxel and looked for him. She ran into Matt who said she crossed a line that could never return. Rosemary laughed and tried to Green mist Matt (in a shot reminiscent of the famous monster movie “Reptilicus.”) However, Matt inhaled the mist and gave him a new euphoria and he then misted Rosemary who ran screaming from the house.

Meanwhile, Maxel was reunited with Rebecca and Matt as all three shared a moment. Meanwhile, Steve is standing in the bed of a truck with an unconscious Bejamin as the truck drove down the highway.

Matt said the match was one for the ages. He said that brought the Hardys back together and rebecame a strong unit. He said many teams stepped onto the compound to challenge them, including the Rock and Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson.) They talked about Apocalypto – they invited the Road Warriors, the Young Bucks and the aforementioned Express. They deleted the Express. He said Morton is in heaven and telling all the angels about the match (in a pretty good Ricky Morton impression.)

We then go to Apocalypto….after the break. When we retuned, Matt pontificated on the match and all who were there (except the Young Bucks, who had travel issues.) He asked Jeff about the volcano that emerged from Jeff’s backyard and if it was real. Jeff said it was real. Anything goes in the “Broken Universe” and the volcano did what it was supposed to – erupt.

We go to the match. We get the ari raid signal and that smoke and a PA saying the public must evacuate due to the smoke. We see a schmozapalooza including the Express, Trevor Lee and Andrew Everett, Decay and many more. The Hardys gave the Rock and Roll Express firework shooters which sent Decay scurrying (Abyss was funny as he said “not again” and made an almost cartoonish retreat.)

Everyone ran in serpentine fashion as The Hardys and Express shot their shots. Helms called his team< Lee and Everett, to a pickup and started to drive (Lee was in the bed whilst Everett and Helms were in the car. Matt appeared in the bed as the car drove and he and Lee started to brawl.

Everett started to climb out of the window but Matt took turns battling both members of the “Helms Dynasty.” Meanwhile, the referee stood on the side of the road befuddled as Jeff drove to him on his motorcycle and said they had to follow them. The referee was hesitant and said he had no helmet but Jeff said to grow some testis because this is Apocalypto. The referee then grabbed onto Jeff on the back of the bike as the two sped in hot pursuit.

Meanwhile, Matt was having his way with the members of the Dynasty as Jeff and the referee tried to catch up to them. We cut then to a bunch of masked people and waiting by the Hardy Compound doors. Decay was going to release them into the compound. Meanwhile, the dynasty and Hardys all managed to get together at the Cameron city limits sign. The Hardys launched Lee into the sign and Matt got a two count before Helms broke up the pin. Helms and Everett ran Jeff into the sign.

Meanwhile, Decay did open the doors. The Bruiserweights attacked Decay but were promptly beaten and pinned by Decay, Abyss said he was still hungry and wanted the next course. Drake Maverick was awaiting his partner as Harlem and Lancelot Bravado arrived. Also, the future Andre Chase found his bronzer. They asked Maverick if he’s heard of them – he didn’t. They walk off as Maverick continued to wait.

In town, the Hardys and the Dynasty continued their battle as Lee hit Jeff with a safety cone. Helms put the bad mouth on Jeff as he said his merchandise can be found in front of the antique store, where they were brawling. However, nobody wanted it. Back at the compound, the Ugly Ducklings (Colby Carino, Lance Lude and Rob Killjoy) were next but were quickly dispatched by Abyss and Steve (Abyss chokeslammed two of the Ducks and Steve put the other in a sleeperhold and could not continue.)

Hey it’s an ad for next week’s Impact and the return of Open Fight Night.

We go back to the highlights and see Abyss in the ring with his spiked bat but Jeff had his firecracker gun. However, Steve chop blocked him and Jeff fell to the mat and then the floor. Abyss got ready to attack until Vanguard made his return and had his own firecracker gun and had a battle with Abyss. After a prolonged battle, Vanguard emerged victorious.

Matt, however, was struggling as the Dynasty was ready to administer the fatal blows with shovels until someone stopped them in mid- attack – it was “The Hurricane.” The Hurricane grabbed one shovel and threw the other one to Hardy. They dispatch the Dynasty (Hurricane saying it looks like the Dynasty….was broken.) Matt was glad to see him on the side of the light. Matt called the referee and the Dynasty was eliminated. They buried the Dynasty and Matt said the man with three H’s (hmmmmm….) would be proud how they buried the young talent. We get the thumbs up poses.

Back at the house, Bobby Lashley and Hornswoggle measured each other (insert jokes here.) Swoggle tried to spear Lashley and one can imagine how that went. Vanguard caught up to Decay and again attacked with arial firecrackers. They ignited another Hardy logo burned into the ground. Decay stagger around the flames as the Hardys attack them in the flames – it is Matt and Steve and Abyss and Jeff pairing. They meet at the top of the logo and then out of the logo. Abyss threw Matt into the ring and laughed sinisterly. Abyss reached for the bat as Steve and Jeff fought near a pound of dirt that started to smolder. Meanwhile, Matt got the upper hand and grabbed the bat. He said it would sting a little and then got Abyss in the midsection.

On the ersatz volcano, Stave got the upper hand and threatened to make Jeff obsolete. However, Jeff hit a Twist of Fate that sent Steve into the mouth of the volcano. The volcano erupted and ejected Steve onto the mat, giving Matt a chance to pin him.

Post-match, the Hardys, Reby, Maxel and Benjamin celebrated. Matt said the compound can be rebuilt by the six of them. Reby corrected him by saying it is now seven, as she is pregnant. Matt said that is wonderful and all continued to celebrate. We get a quick and we are off to commercials.

When we come back, Nero talked humorously about his battles with Frazier. We go back to the Apocalypto and the match between Maxel and Rockstar Spud. We go to Spud berating everything Hardy, even Benjamin and Maxel. Spud went over his resume and would and hated to have to put this all to rest in North Carolina. Spud said he wanted Maxel gone. The crowd instantly started to chant Maxel. Spud said the kid is more over than he is. He threatened Maxel and wanted a match right now with him and will make him a loser.

Matt christened himself the promoter and made the match. Spud made some insider baseball about fighting Spud and then having the kid be pushed to the moon. Hardy got a referee but was not done. He made the match a no disqualification match. Matt wanted everyone else to stand at attention and praise King Maxel, who arrived in a toy Mercades SUV (with Reby in tow.)

Maxel vs. Rockstar Spud.

Maxel made the deletion motion as Spud looked at him. This gave Benjamin time to sneak behind Spud and taser him in the back. Spud fell to the mat and Maxel got the pin. We get a shot of Disco Inferno who was thankful it wasn’t him and asked if anyone wanted to play some poker.

We go back to the Hardys who propped up Maxel for his victory and represented the Hardy genes well. Matt said not many people who attempted to go to the compound and challenge the Hardys – but one of those who did were the Nemeths. Matt said he cannot stand the Nemeths and we get the match – after the break.

We come back to see the Nemeths wandering down the road to the compound. The brothers decide to split up and go separate paths. Nick headed down one path and heard a noise. He saw Jeff/Willow spinning an umbrella. Jeff dropped it and started to dance to a knock off of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” and then quickly disappeared, leaving only the umbrella. Nick went to check the umbrella but Jeff attacked from behind. The two traded punches until Jeff ran Nick into a tree. Jeff grabbed the umbrella and attacked Nick with it until Nick threw sand in Jeff’s eyes and beat a hasty retreat. He went to look for his brother until Jeff attacked again and slammed his head on the bed door of the Nemeths’ pick up. The two brawled in the bed until Nick hit a superkick and then put Jeff on top of the truck.

Jeff recovered and attacked Nick. Conveniently, there were a two tables on top of each other as Jeff was going to powerbomb Nick onto them; only, Nick reversed it and Jeff crashed into the tables. Nick went into his suitcase in the truck and grabbed his belt and ran off to the house. Nick snuck around the house perimeter. Nick found an open door and went inside.

Ryan went around the back but Matt attacked him. We go to Nick who went to the Hardy arcade and saw their collection of belts. Nick did the Indiana Jones trick of substituting an item of equal weight (a small dumbbell) and grabbed the World Title belt.

Matt continued to beat on Ryan in the backyard by heir fountain. Matt stopped and realized that the Nemeths had both tag title belts. This gave Ryan time to recover and beat on Matt but Matt responded by slamming Ryan’s hand into the door leading to the pool. The two continued to brawl and Matt speared Ryan into the pool.

It was there that Matt had a series of dreams in the Water with Reby playing piano and Ryan was now in the game room but we go to break. Ryan found a ticket to the Hardy movie theater. Ryan gave the usher (Benjamin) his ticket and Ryan went into the theater with seats filled by the Hardy progeny (Benjamin also took a seat.) The movie was “Maxel the Great.” We see some black and white film with Ryan posing in a room with a coffin and two skeletons. It is a silent film and we see Maxel beating Ryan and see Maxel head to the top rope and “hit a missile dropkick.” Maxel stood in the ring triumphant with roses being flung on the mat.

Ryan was still in the pool though. We cut to Ryan on a couch being psychoanalyzed by “Doctor Wolfie.” His fee is $10000 but he won’t be crazy anymore – that’s a fair trade. Ryan naturally went to talking about his big brother. Nick was suspended and when Ryan announced it everyone booed him (Dr. Wolife chalked it up to everyone being Hardys’ fans.) Ryan wondered what he was writing – If anything. Ryan said he picked on as a kid and wet his bed. He was afraid of the dark – still is, actually. Wolfie said he is missing something, possibly swimming. Wolfie nailed down the problem when he asked if Ryan was hugged by his parents, which Ryan said no and started to cry.

That was $500 for the prognosis and Ryan asked if he took PayPal or Venmo. Breakthroughs are worth it, you know. Meanwhile, Ryan now found himself wondering the compound with Reby and one of her daughters playing piano. Reby said he won’t find what he is looking but Ryan said he and Nick are taking the tag titles. The daughter continued to say “no” to Ryan and then a confetti explosion occurred. When it cleared, we see an emo Ryan Nemeth who thanked the kid.

We then cut to a Emo Ryan and Hardy son, Barty, in a roast battle with cheesy voiceover announcer. Ryan ran down Barty and said he both a wrestling punk and a conformist. Barty responded with the “nacho cheese” joke. Barty asked if he wanted to hear another joke; Ryan said “yes.” Barty responded “your career.” Ryan responded by saying when his mom and him order short stack pancakes, the server said “looks like you already got one.” The “crowd” openly jeered him as Barty left.

Ryan started to get hit with water balloons as we go back to the pool with Matt choking him in the water. Matt continued to waterboard Ryan and said he is going to find out he is a cold-blooded deleter. However, Nick came tohis brother’s rescue with the tag titles in tow. Matt pursued Nick but Nick escaped, only to be physically accosted by one of the Hardy progeny. Ever the heel, Nick shoved her to the ground; but, it gave Matt a chance to catch Nick.

It also gave Ryan a chance to save his brother and hit Matt with one of the tag belts. This gave Jeff a chance to emerge and rescue his brother. The Nemeths beat a hasty retreat as Jeff stared at the tandem. We go back to the Hardys and Matt talked about the battle with the Nemeths but did get their revenge at Slammiversary this year.

The System visits the Compound

The System is represented by Moose, Bryan Myers and Eddie Edwards (with Alisha in tow.) They strolled through the back yard and are greeted by Matt from the second story balcony. He said they could have gone through the front gate and seen the many surprises the Hardys had in store for them and ran down all the members of the family Hardy (and Senor Benjamin.)

Moose was glad they were all there so they could watch the System kick the Hardys’ backsides. Matt warned him that they are approaching a booby trap and out comes the firecracker launcher. The System tried to find cover and went scurrying in all directions. Myers, however, saw a wrestling action figure and that launched him into a portal to the Hardy arcade. Myers is genuinely spooked but found another action figure. He called the other one an upgrade and took that one instead.

Myers saw a shadow and gave chase only to end in the Hardys gym where he saw another action figure. He thought he saw Matt Hardy but it was a stand up cardboard figure. Nera emerged from behind and said she was the one with the action figure. Myers tried to chase her but went through another portal into a room full of skeletons (and a refrain of Joe Hendry’s parody of Myers “Edge’s B—-.”)

The skeletons are adorned with various wrestling gear (including Edge’s.) We hear more refrains from Myers’ past (including the losing streak record from Tom Hannifan.) Myers saw another action figure but the skeleton adorned in Edge’s gear arose and speared Myers. Nera, though, emerged and climbed the ladder, STRUCK THE POSE, and dove on him.

Meanwhile, in the field, Edwards was looking for anyone until he came across Wolfgang. Wolfgang referenced Edwards time as a member of the American Wolves but Edwards said that was behind him. Wolfgang said there was something behind him and Edwards turned to see a full moon and metamorphized into a wolfman. Edwards howled and Wolfgang joined him.

Alisha found herself walking the hallways of the Hardys compound whilst piano music filled the air. We get myriad photos and statues of the Hardys as Alisha seemed befuddled. She saw Reby at the piano, who asked “the Snow Witch” how she was enjoying her stay at the compound. Alisha said the family was a bunch of freaks and it was a house of horror. Alisha wanted out but their daughter stood in their way. Alisha tried to remove the child, despite the warning from Reby, The daughter ignited an explosion of confetti which blinded her.

We go back to Moose who is looking for Matt and was tried of this bull excrement. Moose wanted to see him. What he did see what “Brody the Fearless.” Moose questioned why the child would put his hands on him. If Moose wanted to see Matt, he should follow him. We follow him to another portion of the house and Bart disappeared. We look inside and it is Senor Benjamin watching TV on a huge screen. He is watching Matt Hardy during another Hardy compound vignette.

Moose realized this was a Hardy childhood home and said Matt was one weird dude. Matt emerged behind him and slammed him into a door and Moose dropped into a wheelchair. Matt pushed the wheel chair through the house and down a rampway.

Alisha, however, was trapped in a guillotine and decried that Reby was psychotic. Rebecca agreed with her. Alisha cried for the other members of the System but Rebecca said they were getting their just desserts. Speaking of which, Rebecca went full Marie Antoinette and said “let them eat cake and grabbed the guillotine blade dropped on Alisha.

Matt wheeled Moose into the Hardy lake and threw him in and said the water was the water of reincarnation and it was wonderful. Moose emerged barefoot but with his old New England Patriot jersey and helmet (the retro look.) Moose asked why he did all this. Matt wondered why he had such a nasty attitude because Matt gifted him with the best version of himself.

Moose said he was delusional and he was not going to make it to Against all Odds. He put his helmet but was distracted by Vanguard. This was enough for Matt to grab Moose (wearing his helmet) and deliver a Twist of Fate.

Suddenly, all four Systemites found themselves at the gates of the compound. Eddie wondered if this was all real. Moose threatened Matt and we go back to the studio to wrap up these “wonderful” moments and what is in store of the future.

Matt said 2026 will be the biggest year and touted the attendance records set this year in North America. He was hit with a premonition; in 2026, they will have the biggest, grandest and most epic Hady Compound battle. Meanwhile, tune in every week to see the Hardys and all the stars of TNA Impact. It will be wonderful.

Impactful Ruminations

One: I had never seen a thing from the Hardy Compound cinematic matches. That is one off the list. It was fine and the production values were great. You know what would be even greater – new matches.

Two: Maybe I read too much into this but in their conclusion, the Hardys said to tune in every week to see them and the stars of Impact. They said nothing about tuning into AXS to see it. Hmmm…..

Keep Fighting the Good Fight – and Happy Halloween.
