TNA Impact Review – 09.18.25

By Scott Herrin on 18 September 2025

We’re a week away from Victory but for now we’re feeling Minnesota at the Armory in Minneapolis. And like the great TV show based here, who’s is going to make it on their own? The only way to find out is to engage in some Impactful Discourse? Shall we? We shall.

We get a replay of the tribute to the students that passed away in the shooting at the Annunciation Catholic School and another moment of silence. T-shirts are still available.

Previously on Impact, we see highlights of the Moose vs. AJ Francis match with Mustafa Ali’s interference as the match is set for Victory Road. We see Trick Williams’ sneak attack on Mike Santana and we get highlights from the System vs. the Nemeths tag title match with Order Four interference helping los hermanos Nemeth.

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rewholdt great us and say things are tense are here (stemming from Tuesday’s action on NXT.) But right now, we get:

Brian Myers (with Moose and the Edwards in tow) vs. Mustafa Ali

We get a scaled down Ali entrance with the Great Hands, Tasha Steelz and Agent Zero in tow. Ali and Myers state each other down. At the bell rang, Myers attacked Ali and hit a flying forearm. Ali dodged a turnbuckle charge but ate a dropkick off the ropes. Ali headed to the floor but Myers joined him. They took turns slamming each other’s head into the apron as we get a standoff between the groups. Meanwhile, Ali was shoved back into the ring and had time to recover to hit the ropes and hit a dive between the ropes.

Ali hit the rolling neckbreaker between the ropes for two. Ali slugged away at Myers and hit the chinlock. Ali continued to beat on Myers until Myers hit a enziguri to stop the tide. Myers hit a flying knee and a side kick. Myers hit an Impaler DDT and headed to the top turnbuckle. John Hotch distracted enough for Ali to recover. Myers missed a flying elbow drop and Ali grabbed a roll up for…the Victory.

Post Match: Myers speared Ali mid-celebration and started to pound away on Ali who hit the floor. The Hands got involved and hit a double slam on the apron on Myers. This brought Eddie Edwards into the fray who superkicked both Hands. However, Edwards turned his back and was followed by Steelz. Alicia, after removing her hoop earrings attacked Steelz. Skyler grabbed Alicia but was slapped by her. This gave Moose time to set up and hit a big boot on Skyler.

Moose than locked eyes with Agent Zero. The two started to climb into the ring and stood eye-to-eye. Zero removed his glasses and headbutted Moose to the canvas. Moose got up and started to attack until the battalion of security vainly tried to retain order. Even Steelz and Alicia got involved. This brought out Santino Marella (and more security) who said he had enough and made the match for Bound for Glory. Order Four vs. The System in a Hardcore War match.

Order quickly hit the floor and headed up the rampway.

We then go to Gia Miller backstage who will discuss the main event. It is the Nemeths vs the Hardys

Ryan called the Nemeths the greatest brothers tag team of all time. When asked how they were going to prepare for the Hardys, Nick said like they always do..before he could finish, Ryan interfered and said they are not legendary. Jeff paints his face because he can’t dance and Matt Hardy is so broken, he is sponsored by Bioflex (boom…roasted..) They’re relics, not legends.

Nick clamed down Ryan and said they were legends but Nick said the Nemeths were never pinned for the title. Tonight is not a ladder match and they are going to prove there are the best brother team of all time as they leave off frame and we leave to break.

We come back from break and we see Dani Luna warming up for her match as the Personal Concierge walks into frame. The PC wants to give her advice. He knows Luna wants a shot at the title, the most prestigious title in the world. But there are people in front of her, like Slamovich at Victory Road and Hartwell at Bound For Glory. The PC said Ash..by Elegance will be victorious but that means there are no opportunities for someone like Luna. Buuuut, if Luna hurts Hartwell tonight and makes her suffer and doesn’t show up for Bound for Glory; the shot might be available for her.

We recap Tuesday’s NXT’s Williams and Melo’s match vs. DIY. Hannifin said many TNA stars voiced (well texted) their displeasure about NXT’s feelings of superiority to TNA (well….)We also get a recap of the Grayson Waller Effect and Trick William’s interrupting Oba Femi and Ricky Saints. We get Waller’s statement he is going to talk to Ava and make the match title vs. title next Tuesday – the winner faces Saints. Hannifan is furious about this but he stills hypes the NXT match. We need to take solace that Santana is waiting in the wings for the winner, Hannifan said.

We also get backstage footage of ODB and her food truck at the Armory. She hugged Gia Miller and we see the Rascalz and Miller eating one of her burgers. We also get a cameo from ODB in the stands for the taping with flask at hand (shouldn’t that have been confiscated?)

We then go to the next match:
Judas Icarus (with Travis Wiliams in tow) vs. Eric Young

Icarus headed to ring and did his pirouette in the ring. Young headed down to ringside and jawed at Williams. This gave Icarus time to fly between the ropes and clobber Icarus. When the bell rang, Icarus and Young no sold shoulderblocks. Icarus got a momentarily advantage with a back elbow off the ropes. He grabbed the arm but Uoung clubbed him down and threw Icarus to the apron. Icarus hit a kick when Young approached him. He headed to the top turnbuckle and leapt over Young who was charging but Young caught him with a back elbow. Young, after a momentarily light dimming hit a gutwrench powerbomb.

Young continued to boot Icarus and got a neck snap on him. Young slugged away at Icarus in the corner and hit a running boot on him. Young got Icarus on his shoulders but Icarus elbowed him out and hit a knee lift. But Young, again, got him on the shoulders but Icarus escaped only for Young to boot him and attempt a piledriver.

Icarus, on a second attempt, managed to backdrop him. Icarus hit a clothesline and running boot off the ropes. Icarus chopped away at Young on the corner. Young was flung to the turnbuckle but got the (Flin Flon) Flip over the turnbuckles as Young headed to the other turnbuckles. Young scaled to the top but Icarus speared his leg and dropped Young to the canvas.
Icarus then headed to the top and hit a frog splash for two-and-a-fraction. Icarus, again, went for the armbar; only for Young to elbow his way out of it. However, Icarus held on to the arm and hit a powerbomb for two. Icarus put Young on the top turnbuckle and climbed to the top, himself. Young slugged and bit Icarus who dropped to the canvas. Young hit an elbowdrop for two-and-a-fraction.

Young threatened to slug the referee which gave Icarus time to sneak up on him but Young dropped him with a back kick to the groin. Young picked up Icarus for the piledriver but apparently someone said Joe Hendry’s name (methinks it was the lady in the fourth row with the glasses) and he appeared.

Young smiled that Hendry was approaching and gestured at him. This gave Icarus more than enough time to recover, reverse a piledriver and hit a rollup for the victory.

Post Match: The Armory celebrated on the floor as Young gestured at the Armory and the referee. He slugged the referee who crumpled to the canvas. Young smiled again, raised his hands as extra referees came to save their compadre. An audible “you suck” chant emerged as Young headed out of the ring.
We, however, head to a vignette for….Victoria Crawford’ and Mentor U. She said she is a 20 year veteran who is going to use every moment of her experience to…Mentor you (or U.) And, we lucky ducks are here with her podcast guest, Jody Threat.

Threat said Crawford was not a mentor but was glad to be there. Crawford said Threat’s energy is fire and is always positive although she has zero friends. Threat took umbrage to that and said she had friends. Crawford said she did not see anyone line up for the Jody Friend list. Threat reiterated that she has people watching her back.

Threat said her friend, her best friend, was suspended by Gia Miller. Miller has not touched base or supported Threat like Blanchard did Crawford. Miller walked into frame and thanked Crawford for having her on her show last week. Despite what happened last week, what happened resonated with her, she thought about it and she went to Marella to lift Blanchard’s suspension. Crawford was elated but Miller said if Blanchard puts her hands on her again, Miller will for unlawful carnal knowledge her up.

Crawford said there was no profanity on her set. But she said she off to let everyone know she got Blanchard unsuspended, including her husband. Well, that’s good…Threat seemed incredulous, but Miller said Threat is not there as they walk off stage and we walk off to commercials.

We walk back to the Treehouse with the Rascalz (yup with cheesy sit com laugh track.) It just dawned on me they are doing an ersatz “That 70’s Show” segment motif. Anyway, Miguel and Wentz have a bit of a spat about the X-Division match last week (won by Myron Reed.) Wentz is going over details as we cut to Reed who is nonverbally trying to make sense of it all. Miguel reminded that it was everyone for themselves. Wentz is hung up on Miguel pulling him out but Miguel said he never pulls out. Wow, that is so close to being funny.

Reed said if they weren’t playing ticklebutt they might have won but he had to capitalize and now he is number one contender. They both agree that it is cool that Reed won and they all had runs at championships. Wentz said there is one thing left to do – celebrate. We get sparks and smoke footage of smokestacks and the space shuttle as the room is now full of smoke. Now they are laughing about being opponents to each other. Reed is pantomiming moves. All is jocular until Marella walks into the frame and sits down. Wentz thinks it’s a cop and hides behind a chair. Marella is choking on the smoke. He is complimenting on their match but gets the munchies and wants a cheesy snack but balks that it is carrots. BWAHAHAHAHA.

Luckily, we go back to ringside and we get:

The Iinspiration and Masha Slamovich vs. The By Elegance Brand

Rewholdt called the Iinspirations “harpies” as we get weeding reception aunt dancing from them. We don’t get dancing from Slamovich but she does enter the ring (well, she did try to raise the roof) but it is all a moot point because…..

The Personal Concierge is upset that the “animals” in the ring destroyed a beautiful portrait commissioned by the cousin’s aunt, uncle’s, brother’s, next door neighbor of Picasso. They also ruined the toast of the new champagne, Elegance in a Bottle. Tonight, after they win, they will have that toast. We degenerate losers need to stand up and respect the greatest female faction in wrestling. Yup, the By Elegance Brand. We get this dialogue, too.

Rewholdt (to Hannifan) You heard him, Tom, stand up; stand up on your feet.

Hannifan: I’m good.

Rewholdt: You’re not good at anything.

The By Elegance brand headed down to ringside. Hannifan did note that the By Elegance Brand are the longest reigning female only Knockout Tag Team Champions (we have to make that distinction because of Young and ODB. Kids, it was a weird time back then.) One person actually is holding a “welcome to the Elegance Era” sign. Nice.

McKay and Ash start but McKay immediately tags Slamovich. Ash then immediately tagged Heather. The two lock up and Slamovich hit a series of snapmares and a hard kick to the back and to the chest for two. Lee, then McKay, are quickly tagged at the Iinspirations hit double kicks to the chest and back. M jumped in the fray but Slamovich met her and all three faces hit the kicks on the two and then all three STRUCK THE POSE!!!

All of the Brand hit the floor and start to head up the rampway. The Iinspirations and Masha chased and caught. The Personal Concierge wound up, wound up and wound up some more and “hit” Slamovich (it was a barely a love tap.) Slamovich turned around and the Iinsipraiton followed and chased the PC around the ring.

The Iinspiration let go of the Brand to help Slamovich. As the PC made to the rampway, M superkicked Slamovich. All of the Brand did the Cabbage Patch. This gave the Iinspiration time to sneak behind and kick them in the shins and them slam their heads to the apron. They decided to pursue the PC and Ash by Elegance. PC&A managed to make it backstage, so the Iinspiration headed back to ringside to attack the Brand.

They slammed the Brand into the turnbuckles as Slamovich made it to her feet on the apron. The Iinspiration ran the Brand together. They clotheslined M over the ropes. McKay ran Heather into the turnbuckle and managed to hit a series of boots and a meteora into the corner. Lee was tagged and hit a running knee (with extra propulsion from McKay) to Heather. Slamovich was tagged and hit a running elbow (with extra propulsion from Lee) on Heather, as well.

Slamovich got a two count on Heather and ran her into the turnbuckles. McKay was tagged but Heather managed to hit a boot and then start to beat down on McKay when we get beaten down into a break.

We come back to McKay being thrown into the turnbuckles. She tried to stop and flip out of it but the Brand held her arms. That gave Heather a chance to hit a backstabber for two. Ash tagged and chopped McKay in the corner. M tagged and also chopped away on McKay and tagged Heather. Heather put the boots to her and choked her in the corner with her boot.

A seated dropkick in the corner also got two by Heather. Heather than hit a sleeperhold. McKay tried to rally and reach but Heather held her arm as Ash ran to the other side and pulled Lee from the Apron. Ash then ran behind Rewholdt and hid behind him. Meanwhile, Heather missed an elbow drop and leg drop. Heather tried to stop her but McKay got loose and tagged Slamovich.

Slamovich came in a house on fire as she attacked the other Branders with a series of big boots as Ash continued to hide. Slamovich set up the spot where Heather is thrown into M who holds her and Slamovich clotheslined M (causing a DDT on Heather) for two. Slamovich tagged Lee who hit superkicks on M. Heather tried to interfere who dropkicked Slamovich out of the ring but Lee was still the legal person in the ring. An Iinspiral was reversed and M got her on her shoulders but Lee escaped. Superkicks were dodged until Lee hit one on the second try.

Lee went behind M but the Concierge tried to slide one of the tag belts to M but she missed and it went behind her and Lee. The ref saw it and had it removed when Lee grabbed it. Lee hit a back elbow on M and attempted to roll her up off the ropes. However, Ash moved away from Rewholdt with a glass of champagne in her hands and threw it in Lee’s eyes. The momentarily blindness was enough for M to get the win (with her feet on the ropes.)

Post Match: The Brand pose in the ring with their titles. Rewholdt threatened McKay not to look at her. We, however, have to look at the

Bioflex Injury report:

Mike Santana is cleared after the beating he received Williams last week. Bioflex was working quick (again) as we get an injury update on Moose from the attack earlier from Agent Zero. His status is unknown whilst in concussion protocol. The Hardys are cleared and Nemeths are cleared despite the toll from the last two weeks.

We come back from break with the King’s Speech. Frankie Kazarian has a special guest for us, Hannifan said. It is another issue of the greatest talk show in the history of TNA. Minnesota was known for a Prince, but now it will be known for a King. His guest is…..himself. He has a very important announcement, at Victory Road, it is him vs. Steve Maclin.

When Maclin needs to understand, history doesn’t remember soldiers, it remembers kings. He will be the new International Champion. But there is more, since he is so magnanimous and generous king, he has a second special guest. But he is not going to announce who it is, he will let him do it himself and it is……..Mr. Anderson.

Anderson is warmly greeted by the Minneapolis fans, even Hannifan and Rewholdt give him some applause. Kazarian stiffed him on a handshake twice, though. A loud “Anderson” chant emerged. Kazarian tried to serve some cheap heat by asking how are things in Green Bay (it being Minnesota and all.) Anderson does admit he is from Green Bay, yes; but, he lived in Minnesota for more than two decades and his wrestling school is here. His kids are from here, too. For the first time in nine years, he is in a TNA ring in Minnesota – this is home now.
Heat is served cheap as Kazarian saying that being home in Minnesota sucks. He said one of his students asked Kazarian for advice to which Kazarian said to burn your boots with you in them. He went over the history between the two including one of only a few Ultimate X individual matches – a match Kazarian won. Kazarian beat him many times but that match was special.

He brought up Anderson’s Army reserve history, which got a pop. He thanked Anderson for his service. Kazarian turned it to berating Maclin and said Maclin is supposed to be some kind of hero but probably only served slop. According to Kazarian’s sisters, he’s a coward.

He asked Anderson if he was a coward because he seemed the type that would run from and not to a fight. Anderson grabbed the mic and went over Maclin’s career as a machine gunner in the Marines and his tours of Afghanistan. He then asked when Kazarian served. He politely declined service. Kazarian said he saw what Andeson was trying to do -embarrass in his home. He is not embarrassed but is p—off. He knows Anderson’s wife, kids and his mother are here (they both stand and get a good pop,) Are they going to sit there if Kazarian decides to beat them to an inch of his life. He is emphasizing his points by poking him the chest hard.

Anderson grabbed Kazarian aby the arm and chin. They had their back to the ramp which gave Jake Something a chance to attack form behind. This gave Maclin a chance to hit the ring and attack Something and clothesline him out of the ring as we head into commercials.

After the break, we head right back to ringside for:

Dani Luna vs. Indi Hartwell

Luna headed down ringside and STRUCK HER POSE!!! Hartwell got a huge pop as she headed down ringside next. The two immediately start to attack with Luna shoulder driving Hartwell out of the ring. Hartwell immediately got back in the ring and started to attack Luna again; only for Luna to throw her out of the ring again. Hartwell got back in the ring again, ducked a charge and hit a big boot which dropped Luna to the mat.

It was Luna’s time now to hit the floor as Hartwell threw Luna over the top rope and then hit a big boot when she tried to return. Hartwell hit another big boot when Luna was on the apron which got a two count.

Hartwell got Luna on her shoulders but Luna escaped only to be thrown to the mat leg first an then hit a European Uppercut. Hartwell got a bearhug (!) on Luna off the ropes whilst Luna desperately tried to elbow her way out of it. Luna made it to the ropes and landed an elbow which did release the hold. She then grabbed Hartwell’s arms and lifted her up to where her neck hit the ropes. While Hartwell was on the mat, Luna hit a sliding clothesline for two.

Luna tried to compose herself while doing that Hartwell hit a shoulder block to the torso but Luna caught a second one and hit an overhead suplex for two. Luna hit another overhead suplex as she badmouthed Hartwell. Luna slugged Hartwell with a forearm smash and then choked her on the ropes with her forearm for a two count. Luna continued her onslaught on Hartwell with a series of fists and forearms.

She threw Hartwell to the apron . Meanwhile, Luna (everntually0 grabbed Hartwell standing on the second rope and delivered as reis of elbows. Hartwell got out of the situation by leaning back and using her back to knock Luna to the mat. However, Luna hit a clothesline off the ropes and started to slug away on Hartwell to quell the momentum.

The fans helped Hartwell rally as she made her comeback; slugging away at Luna and hitting another big boot and a series of punches. A series of clotheslines and a spinebuster set Luna up for Hartwell’s elbow off the top rope as Luna rolled out of the ring. Hartwell followed her to the floor. Luna, though, grabbed a chair under the ring and pounded away on Hartwell causing Luna to be disqualified.

Post Match: Luna continued to beat Hartwell with the chair in the ring and choked her with it as security tried to intervene. Luna nearly took out security with a wild swing of the chair. Order was restored as Luna stood over the prone Hartwell.

We then go to an taped segment with Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside. Lee did her part in Chinese (unsure if it is Mandarin or Cantonese) she looked at Brookside who said Lee was right and they met over seven years ago. Their paths separated but they came back together. Lee’s aura pushes some but it drew Brookside to her. And now a girl from Liverpool and a girl from
Chongqing, China are now best friends and setting their sites on the Knockouts Tag Title. Lee said it was yin and yang. Brookside finished by saying Lee is the dark storm and Brookside is the calm spirit. They have balance and that makes them unstoppable. Also, they have a name now; they are the Angel Warriors.

AJZ vs. Mike Santana

We head back from break to see AJZ. I don’t know much about him but he is a strong fellow and get some 1990’s “Conan” Chris Walker/Skinner vibes from him. He interrupts McKenzie Mitchell’s intro of him as he makes his way down to ringside with mic in tow. He was supposed to have a match last week with Santana; but, Santana didn’t make it to the ring. Ergo, he won the match. Santana has as many world title reigns as Minnesota has Super Bowl rings.

The heat is still being served cold as AJZ – from Wisconsin – hunt down Santana and heads to the top of the TNA food chain. We get another gem from Hannifan and Rewholdt

Hannifan: Mike Santana prides himself on keeping things real, right?
Rewholdt: Indeed, he does.

Hannifan: Well, things are about to become real ugly.

Hannfian talked about Santana’s social media posts about Tuesday’s developments on NXT. Santana, meanwhile, heads through the crowd and to the ring with a huge pop. Santana does not wait for the bell and hits a Kangaroo dropkick to AJZ in the corner He then hit an outline in Chalk and then hit the Spin the Block off the ropes for the win.

Post Match: Santana said he isn’t going to front and Williams caught him slipping and let his guard down. But at Bound for Glory, he better say a prayer because his soul belongs to God but his female dog ass belongs to him. This gets a huge pop.

BUT HOLD EVERYTHING…Ridge Holland hits the ring and starts to beat on Santana. Hannifan wondered what he is doing there. Holland continued to beat on Santana. He picked him up and hit the Redeemer on Santana. Holland stood over Santana and posed while we are spared redemption from commercials.

We come back to an A-Game hydration plug and then we get a quick preview of next week’s negotiation between the Hardys and the Dudleys. That segues into our main event:

TNA Tag Titles Match The Hardys vs. The Nemeths

BUT First, we have a special guest join us – Matt Cardona. He shook hands with TNA president Carlos Silva and Anthem Board Member Rick Ehrman (Ehrman, buddy, don’t pump your fists, please.) He heads to the announce table as a special announcer.

The Nemeths enter the ring first decked in Day-Glo. They start to jaw with the Silva and Ehrman and Ryan starts to accost Ehrman who wants to fight the brothers (Ehrman, buddy, don’t do that, either, thanks.) Ehrman is “held back” by Silva. The Nemeths also jaw at Cardona as they come in the ring. The Hardys come out next and get a giant pop adorned in all-white (if this was southern wrestling in the 1980’s, someone’s a-blading’, for sure.)

Nick and Matt start and immediately start brawling. It doesn’t take that long to hit the schmozapalooza as Tyan and Jeff joined the brawl. The Hardys get the upper hand and throw the Nemeths to the ropes. The Nemeths catch themselves; but it is in vain as the Hardys hit stereo clotheslines to drop the Nemeths to the floor as we drop some commercials.

We come back from break as Jeff rammed Nick’s head into the turnbuckles. Nick stopped the offense with a series of punches and kicks. Nick threw Jeff into the corner but Jeff slugged Nick. This did give Ryan a chance to grab Jeff’s leg to disrupt him but ate a boot for his efforts. Jeff continued to slug away at Jeff but a Twist of Fate is stopped by Nick. Jeff ran to the corner and to the top turnbuckle but a Whisper in the Wind was missed.

Nick grabbed an armbar and tagged Ryan. Ryan pounded on Jeff and got a two count. Ryan dropped series of elbows on Jeff and then tagged Nick. Nick put the boots to Jeff and soaked in the jeers of the crowd. Nick grabbed a sleeperhold as a loud “Hardy” chant emerged. Hady tried to make his way to his feet and started to slug Nick but a standing neckbreaker stopped the momentum. Nick hen hit an elongated series of elbow drops and a leaping elbow drop for two-and-a-fraction. Nick grabbed the leg and dragged Jeff to the Nemeth corner and tagged Ryan.

Ryan continued to beat on Jeff with a series of punches and kicks. A fistdrop got a two count. Hannifan and Rewholdt took time during a Ryan chinlock to go over the history of pro wrestling in Minesota. Meanwhile, Nick tagged and the two threw Jeff into the corner. However, Jeff fought of Nick and Ryan and NOW we get the Whisper In the Wind (we’ll file it under “didn’t get all of it”) to drop the Nemeths.

Jeff crawled to the corner and made the hot tag. Matt was a compound on fire as he attacked Nick with the delete head ram down the turnbuckles. Nick held on to the corner but Matt yanked him leg first from the turnbuckles into a powerbomb for two. Matt hit a shoulder drive and a clothesline in the corner but Nick got out of a bulldog attempt. Matt did catch a charging Nemeth into a Side Effect for two-and-a-fraction.

Matt went to the second rope and hit an elbow drop to the back for two. Matt tried for a Twist of Fate but Nemeth escaped. Matt threw Nick into the turnbuckles but a charge was met with a back elbow. Nick climbed to the second turnbuckle but Matt grabbed him and carried to the middle of the ring for a Razor’s Edge (!) Nick escaped and hit the ropes and hit a Famousser for two-and-a-fraction.

Nemeth set up for a superkick but Matt caught it. Matt tried for a Twist of Fate but Nick pushed Matt into a Ryan forearm on the apron. NOW, Nick hit the superkick, Ryan hit a leaping DDT as Nick went to the rope and hit a flying elbow drop for two and-a-fraction. Meanwhile, Ryan grabbed one of the tag belts. Nick tagged Ryan wand was going to use it until Cardona left the announce table to stop Ryan.

Cardona slugged Ryan and threw him into the ring. Meanwhile, Hick an to the floor and clipped Cardona. Meanwhile, Ryan fell victim to the Twist of Fate by Matt, who tagged Jeff to hit the Swanton Bomb form the top turnbuckle for the victory.

Post Match: the Hardys celebrate on the turnbuckles as we call it a night.

Impactful Discourse:

One: They have done a decent job in the buildup to Agent Zero being the silent monster heel. A possible feud with Moose might be the one thing to push him into monster heel status.

Two: We really are getting Gia and Threat vs. Blanchard and Crawford, aren’t we? I am not feeling this one iota. I will say I found the Crawford segment decent. I laughed as she paused after “20-year” and finished with “wrestling career.” Crawford was funny in her mannerisms and Threat didn’t denigrate the segment. She didn’t necessarily lift it, that was Miller’s job, I presume. I did find it exponentially funnier than…

Three: The Rascalz segment. I should be ashamed of myself for not seeing the “That 70’s show” homage until today. However, I didn’t like the show then and any homages are not funny, either. Wentz is a goof – an utter goof. I could not stand that entire segment. We could have used that time for anything else – the Ali vs. Myers match, perhaps. I was enjoying it. I get the abrupt end of the match to flesh out the Zero vs. Moose impending conflict; still, it would have been nice to see a few moments more of the match.

Four: I love the old school heeling from the By Elegance Brand and the Personal Concierge. They are a constant highlight on the shows. We do need some new blood for the tag matches and hope this division gets fleshed.

Five: The Icarus/Young match didn’t wow me but Icarus didn’t turn me off the match. It was there. I do have some intrigue where they are going with the Armory and Young split.

Six: Joe Hendry – still completely over and still funny, even in cameos like tonight and Tuesday.

Seven: Per last week’s conversation, those Bioflex people sure do move quickly.

Eight: The name notwithstanding, I did like a bit of the backstory with Lee and Brookside. I do like teams that balance each other and compliment each other. They have been teaming for awhile and could see them – eventually – get to the level of a legit contender. Although tag team depth would help get them there. Despite that, I can see where they are heading and am curious how the trip goes (I just don’t like the name of said trip.)

Nine: I know most people are not Holland fans but I think this is a great position for him. He can focus on a set character and use his size and strengths against people. Moving to TNA helped Ali considerably, it might do the same for Holland. Maybe.

Ten: Hold on to AJZ. He might be good down the road or just as a credible enhancement talent.

Eleven: The Anderson segment was harmless and used to advance the Kazarian/Maclin/Something angle. The same with ODB, although I got acid reflux looking at the burgers the Rascalz were eating.

Lastly: The hoop earrings removal is classic south Boston. That was a nice touch, Alicia Edwards.

Keep fighting the good fight.
