TNA Impact Sacrifice Review – March 27, 2026

By Scott Herrin on 28th March 2026

Thanks for everyone’s understanding. One reaches a point that a step back is needed. In boxing, they clinch; here, it is some respite. Also, this is not always easy work despite the subject. I know most people do; but if not, read the work that the other writers do. There is a lot of energy needed to do this. And comment and talk about what they write; it’s how we live. If there is something you want to give feedback, give it. Make productive suggestions. We all appreciate it.

Suffice to say, It has been a stressful week but we all made it. It’s been well, a Sacrifice for things but enough of that; let’s talk about the TNA Impact: Sacrifice from New Orleans, LA. We have Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on announce duties, Gia Miller with backstage stuff and McKenzie Mitchell doing the ringside announcing. Let’s get into some Sacrificial Impactful Discourse, shall we? We shall.

We have pre-game festivities, too, starting with our first match:

BDE vs. Ryan Nemeth

BDE arrives first and is livestreaming the entrance, per usual. He gets a decent pop. Nemeth is next to a backdrop of movies posters featuring him. We also get an inset promo with him asking if BDE stood for “Bad..Doer of…Everything?”  He doesn’t belong here and BDE might play Fortnite but Nemeth plays Duck Hunter and tonight BDE is the duck and Ryan is the hunter….and the dog.

A sizable “BDE” chant emerged as the two start. Nemeth dropped BDE with a go behind and taunted NBDE.  BDE hit the Dalmatian spots early with a springboard reverse bodypress off the ropes. He then livestreamed his and the fans reaction. He kept filming as he dove on Nemeth between the ropes. Nemeth curtailed the tide by hitting a running forearm to a prone BDE on the apron and then mauled him on the mat. Nemeth got the Rude Awakening neckbreaker for two and then mocked BDE by grabbing his phone and taking a selfie with him on the mat.

BDE tried to rally but Nemeth stopped it. After beating and mauling BDE on the mat, Nemeth grabbed the chinlock taking time to pose and taunt the fans. However, he still found time to continue to thwart BDE’s repeated rally attempts. BDE did escape a chinlock and hit a running punch  and then a corner splash. BDE climbed to the top rope but Ryan hit the turnbuckles and BDE crashed to the mat. Nemeth hit the leaping DDT for a two count. However, BDE reversed another Rude Awakening Neck Breaker into the Clip Cutter (springboard cutter.) BDE went back to the top rope but a flying bodypress was met with Ryan knees who rolled up BDE (with tights in hand) for the win.

Post-Match: Nemeth grabbed BDE’s phone and took a selfie with the referee. He put the phone down and celebrated up the rampway.

After a TNA hype piece, Hannifan and Rehwoldt announced that thanks to some negotiating with Tasha Steelz and Daria Rae, Mustafa Ali has an International Title match with Trey Miguel at Rebellion. Also, Eddie Edwards met with Steelz for a special meeting between Order Four and The System and what do you know, we have special footage.

The eight meet in a dining room (somewhat similar to the one Steve Maclin and Mike Santana had their meeting on Impact. Hmm, funny that.) The members of the group sit and Edwards thanked Ali for the meeting. Ali thanked him despite a snarky comment about the System’s attire. Edwards started to rebut but Steelz said that was enough.

They want to talk about Moose (the wrestler, not the animal.) Ali said the funny thing is he has a solution  to the problem –  Agent Zero. Ali told Zero that he is going to help Edwards with his problem and he should consider the  problem solved. Ali has to ask since they’re all friends now what is in it for us. Rebellion will be the Night of the System, Edwards said they will win all the gold. Ali corrected him that sans Ali will be International champion. When Edwards becomes the world titlist, he will give Ali a shot.  Brian Myers joked maybe when they beat the Hardys the Great Hands will have a shot at the tag titles, which got John Skyler excited. Alexander joked that when he wins the division title, he asked if Steelz would want a tussle. Steelz said she would whoop his backside. Alexander said he was just joking, say hi to her mom, Steelz said say hi to his wife for her.

Ali agreed to terms and an accord has been reached.  They exchanged each other’s catch phrases but they all stood up Ali calmed the team down. There is one more thing, Ali said. He whispered something in Edwards’ ear and he nodded. As they left, Cedric Alexander asked if he trusted Ali, Edwards said no. Steelz asked Ali if we are really going to trust the System, Ali said no way in hell.

Tessa Blanchard (with the Diamond Collective in tow) vs. Jody threat (with Myla Grace and Harley Hudson in tow)

“Undeniable” starts as we get the Collective headed to the ring.  Crawford seemed to be okay and came down with Moore. Threat came out with Grace and Hudson  Threat again felt the urge for frenetic running and getting on the turnbuckles and striking her pose.

Blanchard posed and acted nonchalant in the  corner but threat avoided her charge  and attacked Blanchard with a series of clotheslines in the corner. Blanchard tried to rally but Threat continued to attack the Blanchard on the apron. Threat held Blanchard but Blanchard escaped a delayed vertical suplex and chop blocked the leg of threat. Blanchard focused on the leg with her “Knee DT” and a series of elbow drop an punches to the injured knee.

Blanchard mauled Threat in the corner and hit a rope assisted leaping stomp to the leg. Blanchard slowed the action but worked on the leg as Threat tried to slug herself free but Blanchard held onto the leglock she applied. Eventually, Threat kicked Blanchard away and hit a running boot on a charging Blanchard. Threat hit a series of running clothesline  and then a Yakuza kick off the ropes and leapt on Blanchard when draped on the ropes. Threat hit a Release German Suplex.

Blanchard and Threat took turns evading charges in the corner but Blanchard regained the momentum when she hit a dropkick to the knee as Threat positioned herself on the turnbuckles. She also hit a Lungblower in the corner. Threat would not go away but Blanchard would regain the advantage by attacking the leg. Threat backed Blanchard into the corner with a clothesline. Threat limped to Blanchard and NOW hit the delayed vertical suplex.

Threat sold the leg injury but kept the offense going by cornering Blanchard booting her in the torso. Threat lifted Blanchard and hit a running powerbomb for two until Moore put Blanchard’s hand on the ropes. Hudson and Grace took umbrage and headed that way. Crawford was behind her and distracted the faces and the referee as Moore climbed in the ring, took off her stiletto heel and hit Threat with it and slid out of the ring. The referee turned around in time for Blanchard to grab Threat and hit the Buzzsaw DDT for the win.

Post-Match: The Collective got in the ring and beat on Threat as Blanchard grabbed some power cables from ringside and strangled Threat with them whilst dragging her around the ring. The referees and security ran to the ring to stop the beat down. The Collective taunted the fans and headed up the rampway while Grace and Hudson consoled Threat.

We get a recap of Steve Maclin’s saga from the “Feast or Fired” match to now, including the betrayal of Santana and his assault of Hannifan to some final words from Maclin.

We go back to a generic locker room and we see Nick Nemeth. He said enjoy it because he will be watching. He said he knew what Maclin and Santana were like. He hopes they beat the holy heck out of each other. Nemeth said he has a plan coming together for Rebellion (held in his hometown.) he is calling his shot and he is leaving as TNA World Champion and held his trophy high as we go back to Hannifin and Rehwoldt who go over the main card which is happening….now.

But first, We get the action montage before the main show starts and NOW we head right to title action

X-Division Title Leon Slater vs. Eric Young

We get a PiP recap of the feud featuring Young’s piledriver of Slater. We also get a shout by Hannifan for Us vs. Them who wrote Young’s theme “The Cleanse.” Young comes in to his usual gear and Slater appears but Young doesn’t wait and attacks on the rampway. He beat him on the rampway and unmasks…Slater? Nope. It’s a ruse as Slater runs across the rings and leaps over the turnbuckle on Young.

Slater is riled and attacked on the mat. Slater and Young brawl but Slater thwarts every opportunity Young had to gain advantage. Slater threw Young into the ring and now the match starts. Slater hit a huge Swanton Bomb about 2/3 of the way across the ring for a two count.

Slater monkey flipped Young after the 10 punch spot and then hit the spinning rebound kick as Hannifan extols the accolades of Slater. Slater got the rebound handspring flying elbow for a two count. Slater threw Young to the turnbuckle and knocked Young to the turnbuckle after the Flin-Flon Fly and Flip by Young.

Young finally got  some momentum after he threw Slater into the ring ropes. Young attempted a piledriver on the stairs but Slater kicked him to the floor. Slater threw Young into the ring and attempted the Styles Clash but Young reversed it by undoing the boot and biting his leg. Young hit his version of the Styles Clash for a two count.

Young mauled Slater in the corner and tried a dragon choke on the turnbuckle. Slater recovered and got on the torp turnbuckle and Young (sort of hit) the Youngblood Neckbreaker (to quote Botchamania – good enough.) Young focused on the neck, naturally. Young choked Slater and hit the guillotine leg drop on the apron.

Slater tried to regain momentum but Young had an answer. Young hit the Rude Awakening Neckbreaker for another two count. Slater gained momentum when Young tried to another piledriver in the ring but Slater reversed it into a roll up for a two count. Another rollup got two. An elevated twisting neckbreaker got two count. Slater laded a superkick and headed to the top turnbuckle. However, Young avoided the charge and got Slater on his shoulders for a Death Valley Driver for a two count. Young started to verbally accost the referee.

After another Flin Flon Fly and Flip, Slater met Young on the turnbuckle but Young bit Slater to drop him and Young connected on his flying elbow drop for another two count and we get shock face. Young continued to attack and verbally taunt Slater. Slater had enough and caught a kick and attacked Young in the “Yeah/boo” punch spot.

Young charged Slater but a Blue Thunder Bomb dropped Young but Young deftly moved to the apron. The two brawled on the apron and Slater took a bite out of Young. Slater climbed to the top turnbuckle but Young eye raked him and got him in position to hit a piledriver on the apron (with a “holy (excrement)” chant.) However, that got a two-count.

Young grabbed Slater on the top turnbuckle to attempt another piledriver but Slater reversed it. Slater leapt to get a sunset flip on Young. He quickly turned that into a Styles Clash that connected. After that, Slater climbed to the top and we get the Swanton 450 for the victory.

Post Match: TNA President Carlos Silva presented Slater his title and Slater celebrated in the ring.

Hannifan and Rehwoldt greeted us and talked about the card and we have a luminary in the audience – the One Man Gang, (giving us his signature bello.) Hannifan said he wished One Man Gang would take out Frankie Kazarzian. We get the rundown of the main card.

We also get Miller with Santana. Santana asked New Orleans “what’s good?” (Not the Saints.) Santana talked about the stakes of the match for Maclin and that the lead up taught him who Maclin truly is – smart, relentless but manipulative and a real female dog. The title represents Sacrifice and what he missed with his daughter. It’s indicating the pain in his life out of ring. Mostly, it repr3esentrs the nights he bled and fought to get where he is now. He got Maclin his job back but it will cost him having his heart ripped out of his body.

We mentioned Kazarian earlier and here is match:

Tag Match:  Frankie Kazarian and A J Francis vs. Elijah and the Home Town Man

Francis is out first followed by Kazarian. Hannifan and Rehwoldt talked about the history between the two. Elijah is out next and gets his elongated announcement. We get the jazz version of “When the Saints Go Marching In” which triumphs HTM (in a Drew Brees jersey, naturally.) As he and some other folks hand out beads (is that PG?) and masks to the kids. Rehwoldt’s indignation is great of the scene, calling him a living embodiment of a kiss a–. Hannifan tried to defend HTM in an equally funny version.

(NOTE: Hannifan made a huge faux pas right before the start of the match saying “Cody Deaner AKA “The Home Town Man….” That should be part of a legal precedent to suspend…oh, who I am kidding; anyway, the match started.)

Kazarian and Elijah start as the fans start a “Who Dat?” chant. Kazarian and Elijah took turns applying and doing a flipping reverse of armlocks. Elijah got the upper hand as Rehwoldt and Hannifin took turns defending and talking to trash about the Chicago Bears (Rehwoldt’s team.) In the ring, HTM tagged and took control with the Dusty Rhodes dancing punch and boots in the corner (to the Home Town Man chant.) A running hip attack got a two count.

Elijah tagged and hit a flying clothesline off the ropes and we get the “Walk with Elijah” chant to “Seven Nation Army.” Francis got into the match and was met with a jumping knee strike from Elijah. All four got in the ring and the faces both performed the old school rope walk into a leaping forearm smash. They deposited Francis out of the ring via a double clothesline and Elijah leapt over the top rope onto the heels on the floor (stepping on HTM for extra elevation.)

Back in the ring, Elijah and HTM (the Home Town Drifters?)  attacked Kazarian and HTM attempted the Home Town running elbow drop but was thwarted by Francis, who tripped HTM. Kazarian took control with a springboard legdrop.

Francis officially tagged and slugged HTM. HTM tried to rally out of the corner but Francis subdued him and hit the running Tennessee Whiskey knee in the corner. Kazarian tagged back in the match and stomped on HTM’s hand. Kazarian stopped HTM’s frequent hope rallies and tagged Francis. HTM rallied with a jawbreaker and a reversed a huge Down Payment (chokeslam) into a DDT.

Now, we get the hot tag on Elijah and he was a troubadour on fire as he attacked Kazarian, who also tagged. Elijah got an inverted atomic drop and a running boot off the ropes. Elijah mauled Kazarian in the corner and hit a twisting neckbreaker. Kazarian regained control with a guillotine legdrop on the ropes and then leapt over the ropes from the apron and got a cradle for a two count. Kazarian tried for a chicken wing but rolled out of it.

Kazarian continued to attack Elijah but a mule kick in the corner sent Kazarian flying and “the King” tagged Francis. Elijah attacked Francis and got him on his shoulders and carried him (!) into a powerbomb for two-and-a-fraction. Elijah got an individual old school ring walk but Francis reversed a Drifter Destroyer (Canadian Destroyer) into an Alabama Slam.

Francis hit a TFL (spear) for a two count. Frustrated, Francis headed to the floor and grabbed Elijah’s guitar. Kazarian tried to talk some sense into him after missing the “El Kabong” shot. Meanwhile, HTM got a flying body press for a two count. Elijah grabbed the dropped guitar and threatened to “El Kabong” Francis before Kazarian took the guitar from him and broke it on the ring steps. Elijah attacked but Kazarian threw him into the ring steps.

Francis got on the floor and HTM tried to leap onto him but Francis caught him and NOW we get the Down Payment on the apron. Francis threw HTM into the ring and Kazarian hit the Fade to Black for the victory.

Post-Match: Elijah threatened the heels who were celebrating up the rampway. Elijah did so holding his broken guitar.

Speaking of broken things, let’s sneak in a Bioflex Injury Report: Matt Hardy is out due to the “mysterious” attack on Impact Thursday. Indi Hartwell is still out after the attack by Arianna Grace and “Stacks” Lorenzo a few weeks ago. Moose is cleared despite a hip injury from his Atlanta street Fight match against Cedric Alexander and further aggravated after his match on Impact with Bear Bronson.
Speaking of System components, here is Alexander and Brian Myers backstage. Myers sarcastically hopes Matt Hardy recovers. Alexander said there is a lot of slander going around that the System had something to do with the attack. Au contraire, he is going to show that this is not the case. Myers said he doesn’t care about the health of Matt or the fact Vincent is taking his place.

Mitchell announces that we are joined by Tommy Dreamer and Silva. Dreamer is adorned in a black (not surprising.) But, he is wearing a New Orleans Saints T-Shirt (do the Philly fans know about this? Cue “You sold out” chant in 3…2…1) Dreamer talked about his history in New Orleans. He knows down here it’s not “pro wrestling” but “pro rasslin’.”  After complimenting New Orleans, he throws it to someone who is an inspiration to all – Chris Bey.

Bey got a sizable reaction (Hannifin said this is beautiful.) Bey talked about his history in New Orleans and in TNA. He said that doesn’t happen unless a company invests in young talent and he is proud to announce the newest young talent signee in TNA. He is proud to stand here (emphasizing “stand here”) and announce – Ricky Sosa, who is still is incredibly over on reputation alone.

Silva said it is official and hypes Sosa. Sosa took the mic and greeted the crowd. He is happy to be here not just tonight but a moment he had worked for five years. He thanks management and signed the contract (as a “you deserve it” chant emerged.) The crowd loved his chant and thanked the fans and his family for their belief in him. After that, the contract was signed and they leave backstage.

Hey, do want some TNA merch? Go to TNAmerch.com.

After briefly discussing the signee we go back to some pregame highlights of the Blanchard vs. Threat match. We see the Collective head backstage but Moore lagged behind them and is distracted by the (oh, no) white bunny and follows the bunny (in the red light) into a red-lit room and behind her emerged…Havok??? The lights go out and we hear a scream and we go back to Hannifan and Rehwoldt. Well, they gave Blanchard a shot……

We get a recap and a run down of how our next match came to fruition  and then the intros:

TNA Knockouts World Title: Arianna Grace (with “Stacks” Lorenzo in tow) vs. Lei Ying Lee (with Xia Brookside in tow) vs. Dani Luna

Luna is out first dragging a cameraman closer with a chain and then pulling them closer to yell at them. She posed in the ring with another chain on the turnbuckles. Lee is next who hit her routine on the rampway and made her way into the ring. Grace was last with some PDA to Lorenzo. Hannifan went over Grace’s win over Lee to get the title and the abounding shenanigans of that victory.

We don’t get through the introductions (sorry, champ) as Luna immediately attacked Lee during her ring intro. Grace tried her usually skullduggery to steal a pin but as soon as she was confronted, she skulked away to the floor into Lorenzo’s arms. Luna continued to attack Lee with a German suplex.

Lee regained the advantage with a series of strikes and kicks. Luna brawled with her as Grace stayed on the floor and tripped and dragged Luna to the floor to attack her. Lee dove on Grace between the ropes. Luna recovered but Lee dropped her again and then attacked Grace in the ring, eventually scampering the champion and hitting a seated dropkick.

Lee continued her attack in the corner and with an exploder suplex. Luna snuck from behind with a rear naked choke and then, in an impressive spot, managed to grab Lee and Grace and hit a German Suplex in the corner. Luna continued to beat on Lee until she hit the ropes and Lorenzo grabbed the ropes and Luna fell through them. Grace took the opportunity and grab a two count on Lee and beat on her and got a two count with a seated bodypress.

Grace continued to attack Lee until Luna re-entered the ring. Meanwhile, Hannifan and Rehwoldt continued to argue about Grace’s duplicitousness toward her dad. Rehwoldt said it is like when a child sticks his finger in a socket, you blame the parent, not the kid. Grace and Luna squared off until Luna clobbered Grace she fell through the ropes to the floor. Meanwhile, Lee tried to grab a quick rollup. Luna responded with a big boot for a two count of her own.

Luna taunted Lee as Lee Warriored up – it worked as she blocked a kick and applied a single leg crab. Ever the opportunist, Grace grabbed a cravat hold on Lee, who still held on to Luna. Eventually, Lee let go of Luna, still fending her off with kicks. She fended off Grace with a snap mare. Grace landed in Luna’s arm and tried for a Luna Landing but Lee dropped Luna with a superkick – Grace did the same to Lee and Luna did that to Lee. Grace dropped Luna with a neckbreaker.

Meanwhile, Lee grabbed Grace and applied the Warriors Way (Airplane Spin into a face buster) but Luna broke up the pin attempt. All three arose, Lee dropped both opponents with a series of strikes and kicks. Lee grabbed grace for a powerbomb but Grace escaped. Lee avoided another kick and hit the Thunderstruck (Superkick) to send Grace to the floor. Luna took advantage and grabbed Lee for a slingshot Blue Thunder Bomb for a two count.

Luna, visibly frustrated, threw Lee to the floor. Meanwhile, on the floor, Brookside and Lorenzo started to jaw at each other until Luna broke up that confrontation. Luna threw Grace back into the ring but Grace hit a DDT for a two count. Grace went to the top rope but Luna intercepted her and got on the top rope and got Grace on her shoulders. Lorenzo got on the apron to hold on to his fiancée but lee kicked him to the floor.

Lee got on the turnbuckles and we got a tower suplex spot. Lee got a two count on Luna and then on Grace. Lee grabbed the Warriors Way on Grace but Lorenzo again interfered and grabbed Lee. Brookside, though, knocked him to the floor and continued the confrontation. Meanwhile, Grace snuck behind Brookside and attacked her. Lee hit a cannonball from the apron to drop Grace and Lorenzo. Luna and Grace stared at each other, with Luna screaming “this is what you want, isn’t it?”

Luna beat on Lee with the “yeah/boo” spot again. After a prolonged battle, Luna powered Lee into a bodyslam, which Lee escaped and hit Thunderstruck again. Lee grabbed Luna and hit the Warriors Way on Luna. However, Lorenzo grabbed Lee when she went for the pin. This gave Grace, who recovered, to crawl in the ring and still the pin and retain the title.

Post-Match: Lorenzo grabbed the title from Silva but gave it back to make sure he put it on Grace appropriately. Grace laughed at the crowd as Hannifan said she was the “disgrace of the Knockouts Division.” Grace and Lorenzo celebrated up the rampway with more PDA.

We go Rosemary. backstage to Mara Sade who is greeted by Allie and the Bunny (sigh), her phone turned to a sign that said “follow me” and then back to a phone. She followed the rabbit that led her to Rosemary. She don’t be scared – Sade wasn’t. Sade introduced herself, as did Rosemary. Sade said if she is from the undead realm and make people disappear and appear, can she make Michael B. Jordan appear? Sadly, Rosemary said she couldn’t.
Sade asked why is she here and if she was going to stab her in the neck; or worse, send her to Wrestle House (?) rosemary said Wrestle house is a national treasure and should be treated as such. Rosemary said she was sent here for a purpose but first she has a match. Sade said she handled Black, they’ll talk (we get the to be continued sign) and we head back to ringside.

We get that match but first, it’s Intergender Tag Action:

Mustafa Ali and Tasha Steelz (with the Great Hands  and extra Servicemen in tow) vs. Trey Miguel and Jada Stone.

We went over some of the hype for Rebellion as Ali and Trey Miguel battle for the International Title. I wonder where Zero is… Meanwhile, Order Four STRUCK THEIR POSE in the ring. Stone and Miguel are out next, in that order. Miguel and Stone shake hands with the crowd and acknowledge the crowd on the turnbuckles.

Miguel and Ali started the match and trade  arm locks and reversals. They also traded leg scissor takedowns and hurincanranas with Miguel landing on his feet after an Ali hurincanrana attempt off the ropes. Ali begged off and tagged Steelz and Stone tagged Stone. The two jawed at each other  and then traded hurincanranas of their own. The two got in each other’s faces until Miguel and Ali separated the two, for reasons unknown. Ali and Miguel tagged back into the match. The two measured each other again until Ali shoved Stone to the floor. That raised the ire of Miguel who chased him off the apron to the floor. The Great Hands were there to help Ali and Steelz taunted the two with the Rascalz old hand wave.

Stone tagged and wanted to face Ali, Miguel obliged. The crowd chanted that Ali “(for unlawful carnal knowledge)d up. “Ali laughed and locked up with Stone, flinging her to the mat. Stone recovered and kicked Ali as he charged her. Stone got his shoulders and attempted a victory roll and then a hurincanrana. The third time’s a charm as she dropped him with a DDT. Stone, after a moment of confusion, climbed to the other top turnbuckle and NOW Stone hit a hurincanrana.

Stone continued her assault on the Order and avoided a big boot by Steelz and she headed to the floor. Stone was ready to leap on them but the Great Hands blocked their allies. Miguel, however, leapt over the ropes and dropped the Great Hands with a “TNA” chant to boot.

The momentum was cut shortly, though, as Steelz threw Stone into the corner of the ring. She slid into the hands of Ali who hit a draping DDT onto the floor. Ali got back in the ring and mocked Stone. He tagged Steelz who mauled  Stone in the corner and landed (sort of) a Sliced Bread (cue Botchamania’s “Good enough”) for a two count. Steelz continued to maul Stone in the corner but missed a charge and Steelz ran into the ring post.

The Great Hands helped Steelz get back into the ring but Stone fended off Steelz and made the hope crawl and tagged Miguel. Miguel stayed on the apron and dropped Ali (who tagged) with a series of kicks and hit a missile dropkick from the tope turnbuckle. He grabbed Ali off the ropes and hit a Shell Shock.  Steelz grabbed Miguel and assaulted him until Miguel hit a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker off the ropes. . Ali charged Miguel but Miguel evaded it – but the dropkick landed flush on Stone.

Ali hit a superkick but Miguel evaded an Ali charge and Ali hit his face first sliding sell in the turnbuckle; which Miguel got a two count and a “this is awesome” chant. On the apron, Ali grabbed Miguel and hit the Dance with the Devil (end of days/flatliner variation) on the ropes. Steelz tagged in the match and hit a flying bodysplash for a two count.  Miguel fended off a charging Ali and Steelz until Ali grabbed Miguel and tossed him from the top into a Steelz cutter for a two count.

Ali tagged in the match. Miguel fended off a charging Ali and hit a Meteora from the top turnbuckle. Steelz and Stone tagged back in the match with Stone beating Steelz  and getting a running Meteora off the ropes. She climbed to the top rope and hit a Split-legged Moonsault for two-and-a-fraction. Steelz tagged Ali but Stone fended him off and hit another DDT and then a Destroyer off the ropes on Ali off the ropes.

Ali went to the floor and Stone (sort of) hit a hurincanrana (cue Botchamania…) Another “holy (excrement)” chant emerged as Stone went to the top once more. But, Ali slugged her and Stone sat on the turnbuckles. Ali set up for a Razor’s Edge off the top but Stone reversed it into another top rope hurincanrana. Miguel leapt on the Great Hands on the floor and dropped them. Stone hit a Phoenix Splash for two-and-a-fraction.

Stone looked around (someone missed a cue?) but Steelz eventually got to the apron with the International Title. Stone accosted her which drew the attention of the referee. Whist that was happening, the Great Hands attacked Miguel and zip tied his hand to the ropes. Stone tried to help to help but Ali recovered and Ali slowly hit the Dance with the Devil in front of Miguel. For a two count. Ali broke the count himself; he then climbed to the top rope and hit the 450 splash for the victory.

Post-Match: Miguel was near tears as Ali and Order Four posed in the ring. Ali glared at Miguel and mocked him with the salute.

Meanwhile we go backstage where Lee is getting some medical attention with Brookside next to her. Grace and Lorenzo come into the shot and taunt Lee. Brookside said she didn’t beat Lee, Grace took a shortcut, as she always does. She said her winning the title is a scam. We get an argument about nepotism (Brookside’s dad is Robby Brookside, British wrestling legend.)

Santino Marella walked into frame and Grace complained to “dad” about Brookside (Brookside mocked her for it.) Marella said Grace caused a lot of problems recently. Next week on Impact, it is Grace vs. Brookside. Grace said it isn’t fair and stormed off. Lorenzo asked if that makes him happy and that he is a terrible father.

We quickly go to the next match and a revenge match:

Moose (with Alisha Edwards in tow) vs. Eddie Edwards

Before the intros we get a recap of the feud with Bear Bronson and Alexander’s intro and Moose and Alisha Edwards outro.) We get a recap of Moose running through all the members of the System that concludes with this match.

And we start the conclusion with Moose’s music and chryon. The “Moose” chant is audible (despite playing for the Saints’ rival, the Atlanta Falcons.) Hannifin talked about Moose’s outcomes versus the System components. The warning buzzer sounded and Edwards appeared and made his way down the ramp (the System was barred from ringside. Eddie and Alisha jawed at each other on the floor. Edwards went under the ring and pulled a kendo stick. Eddie threatened Moose but Alisha snuck behind and grabbed the stick.

The bell rang and Eddie charged, only to be met with a big boot from Moose. Eddie went to the floor begged for mercy as he stumbled around the floor. He ended by the rampway and out came Agent Zero to assault Moose. Zero mauled Moose and threw him in the ring. Zero got in the ring and Alisha jumped on his back. Eddie grabbed and restrained her, making her watch Zero’s beating of Moose. A bevvy of referees and security ran into the ring and stopped Zero. Alisha tried to protect Moose as Zero went to the floor, with Eddie holding the ropes for him. The crowd chanted and roared its disapproval.

We cut to a backstage vignette with Maclin. Maclin said they both got what they wanted, Santana got a match with him and Maclin got his job back. Maclin threatened to bring mayhem to the champ. Every day, month and chip he earned through sobriety will be taken by “Bulletproof” Steve Maclin.

We go to another Knockouts match quickly:

No disqualification match: Mara Sade vs. Elayna Black

Black is out first to a sort of response (a smattering of boos.) Hannifan and Rehwoldt talked about the match where Black used brass knuckles to stop Sade when they first fought a few weeks ago. Sade came out next to a more audible pop and chant of her name. She had a bedazzled bat with her.

Black did not wait and immediately attacked Sade on the apron and grabbed the bat. Sade avoided a swing and attacked Black, who dropped said bat. Sade attacked Black and leapt on Black on the floor and whipped her to the ring steps. Sade attacked Black along the barricade and into the apron.

Black stemmed the tide by grabbing a kendo stick and hit Sade repeatedly on the floor. Black went under the ring to grab a stop sign but Sade recuperated and hit a running dropkick off the ring steps. While Sade celebrated with fans, Black crawled under the ring. When Sade caught her, Black hit her with a fire extinguisher and sprayed Sade with the foam.

Black rammed her into the ring steps and then threw her back into the ring, grabbing a chair in the process. Black continued to beat on Sade, eventually hitting her with the chair. The beating continued and Black taunted Sade. A rope-assisted kick to the back got just a one count. Proving she is a heel, she went under the ring and grabbed a table, earning cheers – she then slid it back, earning the crowd’s ire.

Black continued to maul Sade in the ring and the corner and then hit the chinlock. Sade writhed on the ring but Sade managed to get to where her bat was and Sade attacked Black with it. She followed it with a slingblade and a forearm in the corner as the crowd desperately wanted tables. Sade set Black on a chair and then hit a reverse bodypress off the ropes for a two count.

An enziguri stopped Sade’s attack followed by slam to the mat for a two count. Black went back to the floor and grabbed (sigh) a black bag and dumped “hundreds of thumbtacks” according to Rehwoldt. Sade attempted the Blackout on the tacks but Sade thwarted it and backdropped Sade into..well, some…well, a few of the thumbtacks. The crowd wanted one more try and NOW Sade fully slammed Black into the thumbtacks (with another “holy (excrement)” chant. Sade went to the top and hit a beautiful moonsault for the win.

Post Match: Sade celebrated on the turnbuckle and grabbed her chest. No sign of Rosemary.

Hey, did you get the TNA merchandise? Why not? It’s at TNAmerch.com

We see Maclin and Santana wrapping up and getting ready for their match. Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk about the match. Hannifin brought up the specters of Nick Nemeth and Eddie Edwards with their automatic challenges. Hannifan said how do you compartmentalize that? Rehwoldt said you focus on the opponent in front of you not the one with a trophy in the locker room.

We get a recap of the System’s issues with the Hardys that brought the Righteous into play, including the “mysterious” stairwell attack on Impact on Thursday that waylaid Matt Hardy. We get the Righteous part of the drama and Vincent taking the place of Matt in this match.

The System (Alexander and Myers) vs. Vincent and Jeff Hardy

The System are out first to a chorus of boos. We get the greeting that the Righteous are coming and the slide guitar and snapping confirmed that. Vincent headed into the ring with his own variation of Hardy face paint. Jeff was next to an incredibly loud pop and greets the fan around ringside. Jeff got in the ring and fused the Vincent snaps with his own dance. Hannifan made note of the Righteous’ struggles in tag action.

Jeff and Myers started. The two tried to gain advantage but Jeff got it and hit the Poetry of Motion (with an assist from Vincent.) Alexander tried to stop the faces but missed a charge and  now it was Vincent’s turn to hit the Poetry in Motion (with Jeff on the assist.) The faces cleared the ring of the System and then leapt from the apron on them. Vincent threw Myers into the ring and climbed to the top, thwarting Alexander’s interference. However, it was enough as Myers knocked Vincent to the mat.

Myers and Alexander beat on Vincent. Alexander taunted Jeff and with the attention of the ref diverted, he and Myers beat on Vincent. Myers tagged and suplexed Vincent for a two count and then grabbed the chinlock.

Myers stopped a Vincent rally and tagged Alexander. Alexander beat on Vincent, getting a two kick from a dropkick. The components continued to beat on Vincent. Vincent got a sustained rally from a Russian Legsweep off a tilt-a-whirl attempt by Myers. Vincent did the hope crawl and did tag Hardy.

Hardy hit his usual spots on Alexander for a two count. He riled up the fans and attempted a Twist of Fate but Alexander pushed him into a spear by Myers. Alexander hit a Michinoku Driver for a two count. The System tried a double suplex but Vincent interrupted the attempt. The faces threw Myers to the floor and hit a Twist of Fate Shell Shock (variation) on Alexander for a two count until Myers interrupted the pin.

Vincent hit Myers with aback elbow off the ropes but Alexander stopped him with a German Suplex. However, Hardy recovered and hit a Twist of Fate on Alexander. Hardy went to the top for the Swanton Bomb but….. a shot on the chryon showed Matt tied up and bleeding. That distracted Jeff enough that his Swanton Bomb was met with Alexander’s knees. The shot panned out and we see Dutch standing next to him. Vincent turned to Jeff and smiled. “It was too good to be true,” Hannifan said (oh, Tom, you naïve young man.)

Meanwhile, while Jeff stared incredulously at Vincent, Myers hit the Roster Cut (running lariat) and Alexander got the Lumbar Check for the win.

Post-Match: The System headed up the rampway as Vincent stood over Jeff for an elongated period of time. He then got out of the ring and walked slowly up the rampway to a very loud chorus of boos. Jeff eventually got to his feet to a loud “Hardy” chant.

We get a hype piece for Rebellion in Cleveland, OH on April 11. We go back to Rehwoldt and Hannifan who touch briefly on the Righteous vs. Hardy feud and then to confirmed matches for Rebellion, including Slater vs. Alexander for the X-Division title, The Hardys vs. The System (Bronson and Myers in this case,) Kazarian vs. Elijah and Miguel vs. Ali for the International Title.

However, we get an interruption (much to Hannifan’s chagrin.) It is the Personal Concierge who had something important to say. The By Elegance Brand (sans Ash) emerge from the back and head to the ring. “What did we do to deserve this? “ Hannifan said. “We are being blessed,” Hannifan retorted. “We’d be blessed if (the PC) fell into a swamp and was eaten by a gator.”

The Elegance has something important to say. M said thanks to all the degenerates at ringside, Ash is still bedridden at home because they won’t stop calling her a “mark.” She is not a “mark.” She said the fans are “marks.” The biggest mark is ODB. M suggested that ODB continue to drive around in her dirty food truck because is she ever stepped into the Elegance domain, they will file a lawsuit (it’s all fun and games until the lawyers enter) and send her back to the trailer park she belonged.

Sure enough, ODB’s music is played and a loud “ODB” chant emerged. She started to talk but Heather interrupted and said they may not have taught her math at the backwoods school she went in Minnesota but Heather didn’t think she was that stupid. There are one of her and two of the Elegance brand. ODB saw that and said some two on one action might be fun tonight (ewwww..well, maybe…not the first time that happened in N’Awlins. Oh wait, wrestling – never mind.) ODB said she is a married woman now.

She had been around for a long time and has friends and has a friend with her in N’Awlins, former TNA Knockouts champ Taryn Terrell. She welcomed them to her hometown, female dogs. She had been waiting for a long time to for this day. She wanted them to say all their mess to her face. In New Orleans, they say “Laissez les bons temps rouler “(Let the Good Times Roll.) The crowd chanted it with her.

Mr. Elegance grabbed the mic and said he is Mr. Elegance. As far as he is concerned, he is a member of the Elegance Brand (well, yeah.) he does the math again and now it is three versus two. He has no problem kicking ODB in the face. ODB said he couldn’t handle it. She counted it again and said there are three versus two – until now. Mickie James’ music hit and now it is three on three. The master mark is at home crying, James mused.  The PC interrupted but James called him a pickle..ummm..male phallus. Naturally, the crowd started that as a chant.

James said there has been enough talking and is ready to go. They head to ringside and grabbed Mr. Elegance and dropped him to the mat. James and Terrell assaulted the Brand before the they beat a retreat. Mr. Elegance tried to boot ODB but she blocked the kick and all three slugged him below the belt. Mr. Elegance sold it comedically and then the ladies threw him to the floor. The Brand yelled and threatened the ladies up the rampway.

Meanwhile, Rae and Marella are watching from the back and Marella said that was exciting (well….) Rae agreed with him that it was good (the bosses agree, that’s a start.) Now, they get ready for the main event. Marella wanted Santana to kick his butt but Rae admonished him for being partial and walked off on a call.

We get a rerun of the hype piece for the Santana vs. Maclin match from the pregame and then we get the main event.

TNA World Heavyweight title match: Mike Santana vs. Steve Maclin

Maclin is out first to a mixed result of cheers and boos – but mostly boos. Hannifan said Macin represents the worst truth about the world – if you are selfish, morally void and ruthless; you will get ahead. Santana stands in the concourse and made his way through the stands to a giant pop. Hannifan said Santana never ran away from the truth of who he is. Santana made a lap around the fans and made his way to the ring. Santana soaked in the crowd as Maclin calmly watched from the corner.

The two eyed each other for a while as Santana got the crowd riled. The two met in the ring with no advantage gained. Maclin backed Santana into the corner and paintbrushes him.  The two no-sold shoulderblocks off the ropes.  They traded slaps and punches in the middle of the ring and off the ropes.

Santana backed Maclin to the ropes but Maclin indicated he was hurt. The referee called time and the ringside medic got in the ring (the folks at the BioFlex Injury report folks were on pins and needles.) Santana stalked around the ring. Silva made his way to Maclin’s position and conferred with the referee and the staff. Santana got the crowd riled but Maclin arose but then quickly went down to one knee. He sat back down on the mat.

However, while everyone focused on Maclin, Eddie Edwards ran to the ring and attacked Santana. Edwards mauled Santana and got into the face of Silva. Edwards slammed Santana on the apron and attempted a Pedigree on the floor. However, Santana backdropped Edwards. Santana remembered there was a table under the ring; so, he grabbed it. Edwards recovered and attacked Santana and threw him into the ring. However, Santana responded with a Spin the Block and dropped Santana. He slid Edwards onto the table, climbed to the top and leapt on Edwards. Mitchell said the winner by no contest (?) was Santana.

Post-Match: Santana celebrated in the ring as Hannifan thanked us for watching and talked about the frustration Santana faced tonight.

Impactful Ruminations:

One: I was very hot and cold on this match. I know it’s the South but the screw job finish in the main event was a lot to be desired. I guess Maclin goes back to be a secondary character whilst Edwards gets his shot with Nemeth waiting in the wings. A proper denouement would have been great – or at least, something more than the blip we got on this match. Let’s see what Maclin does with this.

Two: Let me see if I get this straight, we have Luna and we have Blanchard; both with strong cases to hold the Knockouts title but we are going to keep it on Grace? I know it’s the cowardly heel trope and she does it well but there are so many better options to choose than, well, this.

Three: Slater looked great in his match with Young. Slater is a superstar now and just is the part he needs to be.

Four: We are never going to get that cleanse, are we?

Five: I guess we are slotting Kazarian to fight Bagwell at Rebellion?  Maybe. Francis Is still on this treadmill and something soon needs to happen.

Six: Despite the loss, I was really impressed with Elijah and the powerbomb spot. I am curious where we go with him? He can’t just well, “drift” (pun intended) on the midcard. There are a lot pieces and think he might have hit his ceiling.

Seven: This was a great way to introduce Agent Zero into the roster with a feud with Moose. Moose is a veteran and knows what he is doing and can help Zero learn the ring stuff and will make him only better.

Eight: I am curious why we are getting the legends appearances. I know it is a new market with new fans but do we want to be reminded of those who were there in the dark days? I guess credit to management for giving them a shot on a A-list channel and amongst more fans they are acclimated. But, I don’t know anyone who was clamoring to see Taryn Terrell one more time.

Nine: Are we doing anything with BDE? Anything. The mentorship with Swann was a nice switch but extolling his online popularity is undercut by jobbing him routinely.

10: The true nature of the Righteous was delivered very well.  That was nicely done.

11: Enough hardcore matches, Tommy. This isn’t 1995; there’s no shock in it (at least a positive one.) I don’t need the thumbtacks, the tables are played and it just is too much. I would say the same about the intergender violence but this was a tag match so it seemed to fit but really should end.

12: More Rosemary, okay….Although, if she could produce Michael B. Jordan, I would take it all back and it’s the instant angle/gimmick of the year.

13: I am still mystified by Ricky Sosa’s incredible popularity. I guess I have to hit the internet or just yell at clouds. He is massively over with fans and was a great “get” by TNA.

14: Havok was a wrestler I was impressed until we saw her social media posts. I guess you can’t spell “The Land of Second Chances” without “TNA.”

15: Despite the silliness with Rosemary, I am glad that Sade is getting a fairly decent rocket push. She dealt with Nemeth and now Black. I wonder what is next and if she does not get too bogged down with the Rosemary stuff.

16: Ali should win the International Title. Despite the earlier trepidation regarding the match steps, he looked awesome.

17: Great work by the announce team, aside from the Cody Deaner fiasco.

Lastly: Ryan Nemeth: Adorable energy – then, now, forever.

Keep Fighting the good fight.

TNA Impact Review – 03.05.26

By Scott Herrin on 5th March 2026

Greetings, everyone, to another review of TNA Impact. This time from Atlanta, Georgia. Unlike the Hawks, there won’t be any tributes to “Magic City,” just good ole’ fashioned wrestling action. It might not be Saturday Night on WTBS, but it is Thursday Night on AMC. It’s not Fishing with Orlando Wilson (if you know the theme, sing along) as the lead in but Die Hard 2. Still, we have quality broadcasting from Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt, Gia Miller will be handling backstage duties and McKenzie Mitchell will be doing the ringside announcing. So, hunker down on the seated device of your choice and let’s get ready for some Impactful discourse. Shall we? We shall.

TNA Impact Review – February 26, 2026

By Scott Herrin on 27th February 2026

Hey, we’re back for one last taping in Nashville for TNA Impact. Nashville was founded on Chrhismas Eve in 1779. In honor of that, we have presents galore for wrestling fans as Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt (with Gia Miller – more later) on announce duties and McKenzie Mitchell doing her ring announcing. Nashville is also the home of the only lifesize replica of the Parthenon, the ancient Greek temple dedicated to Athena. Speaking of dedications, let’s dedicate some time and engage in some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

Previously on Impact, we got highlights of Steve Maclin’s attempted entrance inot the arena onoy to have some sense talked into him by Hannifan. We also get the “Guitar Case” Casket match highlights from Mustafa Ali and Elijah. We see Order Four’s attempted interference backfire and Elijah closed the lid on Ali.

We instantly go to ringside and the first match

Mike Santana and Leon Slater vs. Ryan and Nick Nemeth

Santana is first  headed to ringside through the crowd to a huge pop. The pop continued as the crowd chanted during Slater’s entrance. Hannifan talked about last week’s interview as Santana tried to apologize to Slater only to be interrupted by the Nemeths. Speaking of, here come the brothers now with Nick bringing the “Call Your Shot” trophy with him. Also, as part of last week’s episode, Frankie Kazarian is next and headed to the announce table, as agreed upon by Daria Rae.

Slater and Nick started the match. Slater and Nemeth fought for position with Slater pushing Nick to the corner. Nick got out of the corner and got a leg takedown on Slater for a two count. Nick got an armlock on Slater only for Slater to reverse and throw Nick to the mat by his arm. Nick got to this feet and raked Slater’s eyes. He backed Slater into the cornwer and tagged Ryan.

Ryan worked the arm and tagged Nick back. Nick  booted Slater but a Rude Awakening neckbreaker was blocked and Slater dropped Nick with a rebound kick. Slater also reversed a whip into the ropes into a handspring leaping back elbow. Ryan charged Slater but “The Youngest in Charge” ducked Ryan and Ryan flew over the ropes to the floor. When Ryan attempted to get back on the mat. Santana hit a running clothesline to the apron.

The Nemeths tried to gather themselves on the floor, only for Slater to hit a dive over the top rope to drop them. After celebrating with Santana, Slater threw Nick back into the ring and Slater hit a leaping stomp on Nick. Santana tagged and hit a flying knee to Nick’s arm. Santana also charged Ryan on the apron and knocked him to the floor. Santana whipped Nick into the corner and landed a flying back elbow. He then snapmared Nick out of the corner and hit a seated dropkick for a two count.

Santana chopped away at Nick on the ropes. An attempted cheap shot backfired as Nick threw Santana into the ropes into Ryan’s knee. Santana no sold it and slugged Ryan to the floor. Nick, though, recuperated and hit a Superkick to drop the TNA World Champion. Ryan bumrushed Santana into the corner and tagged Nick. Nick eyeraked Santana and then distracted the referee. Ryan took the chance to choke Santana in the corner.

Santana tried to rally but Nick mauled him and, after some gyrating, hit a leaping elbow drop for a two count. Ryan tagged back into the match and continued to beat on Santana in the corner. Ryan mauled Santana and tagged Nick as the crowd chanted for Santana to rally. And, rally he did. Santana slugged away at Nick and both competitors were on the mat. Nick got to his feet and tagged Ryan. Ryan got a two count after some boots to Santana and we go to commercial break.
We get another TNA Celebrates History Punch highlight package from TNAPlus which is the same as they showed in the past with a marine in his match against Sheik Ali Bashir for the X-Division Title.

We come back to ringside action with Ryan locking a chinlock on Santana but the champion slugged his away free. Ryan attempted to run Santana to the ropes, but Santana bucked Ryan and then backrolled to hit the Rolling Block 50 cutter. Santana got the hot tag on Slater and Slater was a flat on fire as he dropped Nick (who also tagged) with a series of forearms. Slater also reversed a whip to the ropes by catching himself and caroming off into a spinning kick to drop Nick.

Slater hit a running big boot in the corner on Nick and then climbed to the top rope to hit a Crossover flying bodypress for a two count. Santana tagged back into the match. The two whipped Nick into the corner but Nick backdropped a charging Slater to the floor and hit a back elbow on a charging Santana.

Nick ran Santana into the ropes and Santana tried to replicate the Rolling Block 50 spot but Nick caught him and held him as Ryan hit a neckbreaker for two-and-a-fraction. Frankie Kazarian: “You know, Mike Santana failed art class in college?  He couldn’t draw a dime.” Meanwhile, the Nemeths attempted to throw Santana to the ropes but Santana hit the brakes and attempted to enziguri both Nemeths, connecting with Ryan. Nick threw Santana into the ropes but Santana evaded a charging Ryan, who went to the floor and then hit a running boot on Nick.

Santana managed to tag Slater. Santana flew through the ropes to dropkick Ryan and Slater climbed to the top rope. He leapt and landed on his feet as Nick tried to superkick him. Slater tried to boot Nemeth but that was blocked. However, Nemeth avoided another spinning wheel kick and connected with a Fame-asser for two-and-a-fraction

Slater struggled to get his feet as we get a quick pan to Ryan Nemeth’s girlfriend, actress Anna Lore. Nemeth recovered and threw Slater into the corner and put him on the top turnbuckle. Nemeth climbed the tunbuckles. Meanwhile, a Santana chop- dropped Ryan on the floor next to Slater and Nick. Slater blocked a Superplex attempt and a Headbutt dropped Nick. Slater righted himself but before he could leap, Eric Young ran down to the ring and distracted Slater. Santana intercepted him and the two started to jaw on the rampway. Meanwhile, Nick recovered just enough to get his knees up when Slater attempted a 450 Splash and pinned Slater.

Post Match: Nick and Ryan celebrated on the floor as Santana consoled Slater. Young pointed at his head as he headed backstage.

We go backstage to the Righteous, who are sitting on a couch when Miller entered the room and wanted to get their thoughts on the main event tonight (The Righteous and the Hardys vs. The System.) Vincent said isn’t it strange. This was meant for four voices and the Hardys are missing. THe Righteous believe in brotherhood, standing shoulder to shoulder with the Hardys. Now, the Hardys don’t want to get close due to what happened at No Surrender. Dutch said he apologized multiple times and would do anything to regain the Hardy’s trust.

The Syatem said to trust it, Vincent said. But, systems abandon people – brotherhood do not. If the Hardys are listening, Dutch said they have always stood beside the Hardys even when the Hardy’s haven’t stood beside them. Vincent said trust us and everything will be groovy, dig what he’s saying?

We get a run down of the rest of the action tonight including the AMC debut of “Doomsday” Dani Luna who challengers former TNA Knockouts world Champ Lei Ying Lee next, after some advertisements and another viewing of the TNAPlus celebrate Black History Month segment with Jada Stone challenging Mila Moore and both competitors getting TNA contracts.

Dani Luna vs. Lei Ying Lee

Hannifan reminded us that this match should have taken place at Genesis but, well, visa issues. Luna had her chain in tow and then headed to the ring. Lee is next and does various poses as Xia Brookside joined her partner and got the crowd riled for her friend. Rehwoldt talked about what transpired since Luna had her visa issues and thought Luna has fallen by the wayside and that angers him.

In the ring, Lee and Luna lock up. Lee took down Luna and threw some strikes on the mat. Luna reversed it and hit some strikes of her own. She hit a back elbow to a charging Lee and attempted to hit a German suplex which Lee reversed. Luna attempted to throw Lee to the floor but Lee blocked it on the apron. Lee blocked a punch and kicked Luna between the ropes. She flipped over Luna to get back into the ring and hit a sliding kick to trip Luna and then hit a running knee strike.

A dropkick sent Luna to the corner. Lee leapt on Luna attempted the 10-punch turnbuckle spot but Luna reversed it and attempted a powerbomb which Lee blocked. But, Luna continued to carry Lee around the ring and between the ropes. She lifted Lee face first into the ropes as Lee crumpled to the mat. Rehwoldt continued to bemoan the fate of Luna. Luna hit a series of elbowdrops and then connected with an overhead suplex. Luna locked the chinlock and then wrenched the nek of Lee with all her might. Lee attempted to escape but Luna lifted her and hit another suplex for a two count. Luna started to work the arm with a sliding knee as a “let’s go, Lee” chant emerged. Luna attempted another suplex but Lee reversed it into a rollup for two. Another pin attempt got two for Luna. Lee grabbed a guillotine on Luna but Luna reversed it and hit a vertical suplex.

Luna went to the floor to grab her chain. She wrapped it slowly around her wrist. This gave Lee time to attempt a wresting of the chain but Luna threw her into the turnbuckles. Luna wrapped the chain around the top turnbuckle. The referee did not disqualify her, although clearly looking at her. Luna attempted to run Lee’s head into the turnbuckle but Lee blocked it. Lee dodged a running boot and that gave Lee a chance to hit a series of strikes and kicks to drop Luna.

Luna blocked a suplex but Lee was undeterred and hit a superkick to stagger Luna to the corner. Lee charged Luna and NOW we get the 10-punch turnbuckle spot. And NOW, Lee hit the exploder suplex for a two count. Lee charged Luna in the corner but Luna dodged it and Lee went face first into the tunbuckle. Luna hit a clothesline in the corner and then lifted Lee  onto the ropes and connected a big boot and attempted a deadlift German Suplex from the ropes to the mat. Lee blocked it and hit another series of strikes. They replicated the same spot in the other corner; although this time, Luna was able to connect with a slingshot Blue Thunder Bomb for a two count.

Another “let’s go, Lee” chant emerged as the two traded strikes on the mat. Both got to their feet but as Lee hit the ropes, Luna met her there with a running knee to the torso. Lee returned the favor with a forearm shiver on the ropes. Lee attempted to lift Luna but Luna fought out of it. Luna ducked a roundhouse kick and locked a sleeperhold but Lee twisted her body and got a two count. Luna released the hold and the two traded kick evasions. The two fought for position and Lee got a roll up for two.

However, Luna managed to kick free of the pin attempt and Lee went flying into the turnbuckle that had the chain wrapped around it – sort of (Lee hit the second turnbuckle and the chain was wrapped around the top turnbuckle. Hannifan had a rare botch on the spot, too.) Meanwhile, Luna hit a German suplex and then followed it with a Luna Landing for the victory.

Post-Match: Luna jawed with the camera on the floor as she made her way backstage.

Speaking of backstage, we see TNA President Carlos Silva and Tommy Dreamer sitting around a table when Alisha Edwards entered the room with a TNA contract. Alisha said Dreamer is like a dad to her and complimented Carlos that it is a family here and TNA has been a home for her for years. But she feels lost now and doesn’t belong here with all the stuff happening with Eddie Edwards.

She is going to decline the contract until Moose entered the picture. He was “just around the corner” and heard Alisha was not going to sign the contract. Moose said she was not just the “first lady” of the System but the “first lady” of TNA Wrestling. Last time he checked, TNA is bigger than the System. He knows there is a lot going on with the System but Moose will handle that. If he was her, he’d sign it because TNA needs her and he needs her to be her manager.

Alisha said that is a good idea and Silva reiterated that TNA needs her. That being said, she said if they want to know something, she will stay and signed the contract.  Hugs all around as everyone seemed relieved and we get another preview of the action and a match that was set up a week ago is next.

It’s another TNAPlus package for Black History Enough and the same footage from the match between Mara Sade and Tasha Steelz.

We go back to ringside for our next match:
A J Francis vs. Mance Warner (with Steph DeLander in tow)

Francis heads to the ring first. Hannifan said Francis’ gear is an homage to the African-American flag for Black History month and TNA Wrestling is always proud to support Black History. Rehwoldt said what better way to do it than to celebrate with black excellence. Warner is next and cementing the face turn is DeLander, who headed to ringside in a Nashville Predators jersey.

Francis attempted to jump Warner before the bell but Warner got the better of it. Francis pushed Warner into the corner but Warner caught a charging Francis with a boot. Warner clotheslined Francis over the topes and then hit a running punch from the apron to the floor. Warner and Francis brawled on the floor and Warner ran Francis into the ringsteps. Warner attempted to lift Francis into a piledriver position on the steps but Francis avoided that and slugged Warner on the steps. Francis threw Warner from the steps to the floor.

Francis threw Warner into the ring and choked Warner on the ropes with his leg. He stretched Warner on the ropes and hit Warner with back elbow once he got in the ring. Warner tried to fight out of the corner but Francis hit a mini-splash in the corner to drop Warner. Francis hit the Tennessee Whiskey running knee to the corner, Francis flipped over the ropes and accosted DeLander. Warner took the time to recover and hit a jaw breaker and then a roaring elbow to Francis and dropped Warner with a running big boot off the ropes.

Warner continued to beat on Francis and connected with a Dusty Rhodes elbowsmash. Warner teased another one but poked Francis in the eyes. Warner hit a Bulldog Driver for a two count. Warner charged Francis but Francis hit the TFL (spear) for two-and-a-fraction. Francis went to the floo and grabbed a chair fro under the ring. DeLander tried to wrest the chair from Francis and managed to free it to where it slid to Warner’s location on the mat. Warner grabbed it and Francis begged for mercy. Warner ran the chair into the abdomen and that drew a disqualification.

Post Match: Warner was apathetic about the decision and waffled Francis with a series of chair shots as Warner rolled out of the ring and rolled up the rampway. Francis attempted to celebrate on the rampway but struggled to get to his feet.

Speaking of people struggling, here is  the BioFlex Medical Report. Ali is out of action after suffering multiple injuries from the Casket match last week. Jody Threat suffered a rib injury after the attack from the Diamond Collective last week and will be out of action tonight but should be cleared for action next week. And, Slater is in evaluation after his match tonight.

We go back to ringside and Mickie James made her way ringside to an unsurprising huge pop in full cowgirl gear as we get ready for a debate or a dialectic with Ash by Elegance…after the break.

During said break, fitting enough, we get James against Steelz in another pitch for TNA salutes Black History Month on TNAPlus. It’s the same one previously shown.

After that, we head back to the ringside action and James said it is good to be here in Nashville (there are worse places to be, I reckon.) She wished this was a fun, happy talk but it isn’t as she heard Ash by Elegance big talk last week and should not be surprised she would not drive 20 minutes from her domicile to be here to answer. She asked Ash to make her presence known right now.

However, we get the Personal Concierge to start but James would not want any of that. No one paid to hear him speak so he should take his toupee and his “tiny hieny” back up the rampway. She attempted to dispatch him but, sure enough, here comes Ash. Ash asked how dare James say that when the people paid to see her and her entrance. She posed on the rampway and then made her way to the ring,

Ash said no one paid to see “Miss Irrelevant” and a washed up legend. The crowd rebutted with a “Mickie” chant. James said she thought they would have a chant as friends – or at least someone she thought was a friend. Ash reiterated the word “were.” James remembered when Ash was released from the WWE (not mentioned) and Ash asked James what should she do. James said it was her who spoke to Dreamer and sold him on Ash.
Ash rebutted that they were already scouting her and was the hottest commodity and free agent at the time (well…) James dismissed it and then James talked about Ash having Twitter (X, but she’s rolling) beefs with former Knockouts champions. She called Ash a “mark” and asked if she was “Mark…by Elegance.” Ash angrily rebutted but the crowd started a “mark” chant. Ash pointed at the crowd and James and called them marks.

She wanted the crowd to be silent. Ash said Impact went after her because they wanted to be relevant and that she is trending each and every week (well…) James continued to speak and referenced the fans which Ash started to call losers. James told her to shut up because the fans are the reason she has the ability to stand in this ring. Furthermore, they believed in her and Ash turned her back on them and that she is better than that.

James said she doesn’t care about the people, she only cares about herself and the TNA Knockouts Championship she never lost. James said she also never lost the title and said when James left the title in the middle of the ring and how bad it hurt her. She thought about that for every day since. It’s disgusting how she mocked the title for those who held it prior and will hold it in the future. It’s embarrassing.

Ash said it’s none of her business what happened to her but Ash has the work ethic, something James doesn’t have. It’s why she is standing in the reason and better than everyone, including her, forcing putting her finger on James. James said she forgot she is “hardcore country” and Nashville is the birthplace of that. If Ash doesn’t want to talk about it like ladies, they can talk about it like broads. James started to disrobe and slapped James.

BUT WAIT, upon the big screen (Impactron?) we see Jody Threat sitting with James’ son, Donovan,  and another person until we see the By Elegance Brand come into the shot. The Personal Concierge got James’ attention and we the feed cuts. James instantly made a break for the backstage only to be met by M and Heather on the rampway. They start to beat on James and Ash joined them. She taunted James and then hit her version of the DDT (hey, that’s James’ finisher, complete with James’ mannerisms) on the rampway. The crowd roared in disapproval as the referees made their way to help James. The crowd started to chant “mark” one more time as the Brand left and we left for commercials.

We go backstage (to where James’ family and Threat were) and we see Threat laid out on the floor with Myla Grace and Harley Hudson checking on her. Hudson called for Santino Marella. Marella made his way to the room and asked Hudson if it was the Elegance Brand. Hudson said no, it was Tessa Blanchard and the rest of the collective. Daria Rae made her way to the room and said everywhere she goes it is chaos and it his Marella and called him outside.

Rae re-asked what is happening and now they have wrestlers laid out in the back and something is always going wrong and it is under his watch. Whilst on the subject, Rae brought up the situation with his daughter and son-in-law, Arainna Grace and “Stacks” Lorenzo. She told him not to give her a title shot and it would blow up in his face and now he is mad. She asked to make it make sense.

Marella started to respond when Rae told him to shut up because she is talking (which is, I think, an attempt to get a catchphrase??) She wanted to make one thing clear; she is not mad about that and talked up Arianna. But his delusion and his confusion will not rub off on her so fix it now. She walked off screen and Marella stood there flummoxed. Meanwhile, help still didn’t arrive to help Threat.

We go back to the ring for the next match:

Tasha Steelz (with John Skyler and Jason Hotch in tow)  vs. Jada Stone

Rehwoldt talked about the casket match and Ali not being able to be here because of the match as Steelz made her way to the ring. Stone is next and got a pop. She shook some hands but made her way to the ring. Before the bell rang, Steelz attacked Stone, dropping her with a clothesline. Rehwoldt said Steelz will lead by example and show the relative newcomer Stone what the Knockouts division is. Steelz mauled Stone in the corner with a series of boots and choked her on the turnbuckle with her boot.

Steelz continued to beat on Stone as she arose ewith a series of punches and chops. Steelz taunted Stone until Stone rallied and landed a series of punches on the former Knockouts champion. Steelz pushed Stone into the corner and charged. Stone attempted to land a double kick but Steelz blocked it; only for  Stone to land an enziguri that staggered Steelz. Stone landed a dropkick that sent Steelz to the floor as she and the Great Hands tried to regroup.

Stone attempted to take advantage and dove through the ropes but Steelz moved and Stone landed on the Great Hands, who caught her and dismissively patted her on the head. Steelz got back in the ring and attempted the same dive, but Stone moved and THIS TIME Steelz dropped the Great Hands. Stone gathered herself and hit a moonsault from the apron to drop Order Four (you see, that’s how you catch someone, by and large.) While Stone got the fans riled, though, Steelz landed a big boot to drop Stone.

Steelz continued to assault Stone on the floor as Hannifan and Rehwoldt quickly turned the conversation to what happened before the break with James and Ash. Rehwoldt said he always championed the Brand but Ash is headed down a dark path that could lead to madness or a Knockouts world title. Meanwhile, Steelz hit a vertical suplex on the floor to continue the beat down.

They both got back in the ring, and Steelz continued to beat on Stone in the corner, including a running clothesline. Stone hit a rolling snapmare and then hit a penalty kick for a two count. Steelz taunted Stone as the Great Hands applauded. Stone stopped the taunting with a slap and then matrix dodged a clothesline into a rollup for two. The two traded rollup reversals for two counts for a long time until Stone hit a Superkick. She also nailed two running clotheslines and a Sling Blade for a two count.

Steelz got the momentum back for a moment as she blocked a Handspring move off the ropes and hit a German Suplex. Steelz started to get angry and then got to her feet to hit her finisher. When Stone arose, Steelz attempted the OKurrr Cutter but Stone blocked it and got one more rollup for the victory.

Post Match: Stone quickly and rashly rolled out of the ring but right to where the Great Hands were, who stood behind her. The Great Hands grabbed her and threw her back into the ring where Steelz NOW hit the cutter and started to pound away on Stone on the mat. The Great Hands removed the referee from the ring and celebrated with Steelz, who stood over Stone.

We go to a long-awaited interview…after the break.

After said break, we go to ringside and see Hannifan in the ring. Hannifin went over the recent history with Maclin and TNA, from the Feast or Fired match to the attacks on Santana. Hannifin said it was not easy but he managed to talk to TNA Impact management to grant Maclin the opportunity to speak about what happened. Maclin came from the back surrounded by security and a chorus of boos as he made his way to the ring. He derisively looked at the crowd as they showered him with a “you don’t work here” chant. Nonetheless, Maclin grabbed a mic looked at Hannifan.

Hannifan beckoned for order nonverbally and addressed Maclin. Hannifan said they have been friends or a decade and it is based on one thing, the truth. Hannifin said he stuck his neck out for him to get this airtime and went right to the heart of the matter.

Maclin started to talk but was drowned out by boos. The truth of this, Maclin said,  is not about Santana and that for the first time, it’s about him. It was about opening the briefcase and seeing he was fired. It was about his last day here and everyone thanking him for what he did. The crowd started to chant “we don’t care.” Maclin retorted that if they didn’t care, what was the two weeks after when everyone was kissing his butt?

That day got Maclin thinking and as he left the most selfish man in this company, Santana, thanked Maclin for being the most selfless person in this company. Maclin is selfless, he said. The crowd started to chant “you’re a liar.” Maclin continued that he has been selfless his whole life, referencing his time in the Marine Corps. The crowd started a “USA” chant (??? Okay….) Maclin said what we were thinking and said the crowd needs to shut the hell up.

Santana and him had a brotherhood but….before Maclin could continue, Hannifan said he had to stop him. He said that they had that brotherhood but Maclin assaulted him twice and doesn’t hold himself accountable for that. Maclin pointed out that at Turning Point, Santana lost the title and the next night, they had a tag match and Santana didn’t show. When Maclin confronted him, Santana told him he was sorry but he was going through some things and had to catch a meeting.

Right now, Maclin continued, this is between Maclin and Hannifan and Maclin could not care about the fans (who started a “what” chant and then a “he’s a wanker” chant.) Maclin said he could come out and talk about his problems and his alcohol problems in the WWE and talk about his PTSD; but, he laced up his boots and had a smile on his face and kept moving forward (the crowd, rapidly getting annoying, started a “you got fired” chant.)

This is why he is selfless – he is standing here taking this. He has to have this conversation and defend himself in front of Hannifan and the fans makes Hannifin sound like one of the fans. The crowd started to chant “wrap it up” as Hannifan got angrier and angrier (don’t blame him, actually.)  Hannifan and Maclin were supposed to be friends and stand with Maclin. The only reason why Maclin is standing there and sitting at the announce table (on AMC) is because of Maclin, who got him the job.

Hannifan agreed with him and tried to quiet the crowd. Hannifin said it kills him to see him like this – Hannifan doesn’t want to do this in front of the fans but off camera having a beer (wait, though, the alcohol..never mind, keep going.) Hannifan said let’s do this for real; he has tried everything to help him personally and used his position in this company to help Maclin. Not only himself but people like Santana went to bat for Maclin. Hannifan said officials and others in the back stage who tried to help him but it does no good when Maclin won’t listen.

IF Hannifan wanted to be real, he pointed out how many times Maclin was fined internally in this company repeatedly for the same things. He brought up accountability and that Maclin never takes accountability for himself – it is usually someone else’s fault. They built this friendship on the truth. All of us have to be accountable for actions, why should Maclin be any different?

Maclin thought about it, approached Hannifan and put his hand on his shoulder. He thought about it some more – and punched Hannifan in the stomach. Hannifin dropped as Rehwoldt screamed at Santana. The security guards sprung into action (as Santana’s music played and he came to ringside) and Maclin bailed to the floor. The guards tried to restrain Santana as Maclin stalked around the ring. Rehwoldt accosted Maclin and Maclin shoved him to the ground. Maclin left through the crowd as Santana tended to Hannifan and we go to break.

During the break we get another TNA celebrates Black History Month and it is another airing of the match between Ron Killings, A J Styles, Raven and Johnny Devine.

We get some hype for next week’s card as the Righteous, Sinner and Saint, BDE and Rich Swann the System clash in a four-way match. Jody Threat challenges Arianna Grace for the Knockouts World Title and for the first time, Nick Nemeth challenges Slater for the X-Division Title on a live TNA Impact.

We head back to the announce table as Rehwoldt tired to gather himself and we are joined by Miller who has taken the place of Hannifan. Rae pulled him from the announce table to get help but flummoxed as they are, we have a main event match and here it is:

The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson and Cedric Alexander) vs. The System and the Hardys.

The System head to the ring first as Rehwoldt continued to talk about what the previous segment, something Miller knows too well when she was attacked by Blanchard last year at Slammiversary. She said it really rattled her but it is different with Hannifin as he had been long-time friends with Maclin. But, the announce team is a team and they are here for each other.

The announcement from the chryon tell us the Righteous are coming and the slide guitar and snapping confirm it as they make their way to the ring (with Mitchell doing her weird pronunciation of “Righteous.”) The Hardys come out next to their standard huge pop. The Hardys do their histrionics and show the Righteous some respect as all four head to the ring.

Miller talked about her interview with the Righteous earlier and emphasized the word “anything” to show they’re friendship to the Hardys. After regrouping on the floor, the System get on the apron and  Edwards started the match against Jeff. Edwards attacked Jeff right form the bell but Jeff responded with a forearm off the ropes and then the inverted atomic drop/wishbone legdrop/seated dropkick chain spot. Jeff got a two count form an elbow drop and then attempted a new submission move he workshopped over the last two weeks where he bent Edwards over in and wrenched the neck until Myers interrupted.

It quickly broke into a schmozapalooza with all eight men in the ring. Vincent and the Hardys did the “delete” descending turnbuckle slams on the System as Dutch stood in the middle of the ring with his arms held high after dispatching his Bronson. All four faces joined Dutch in celebrating in the ring. The System regrouped on the floor as the crowd broke into a “we are Righteous” chant.

Edwards headed back into the ring with Jeff but Jeff continued to beat on Edwards and tagged Matt who climbed to the second turnbuckle and after getting the crowd (and Righteous riled) hit an elbow smash on Edwards’ arm. Matt worked the arm and tagged Vincent. Edwards went for the eyes and threw Vincent into the heels’ corner. Myers tagged  and Myers beat on Vincent. However, Vincent reversed a whip into the ropes into a back elbow that dropped Myers.

Vincent threw Myers into the face’s corner and tagged Matt. The two of them beat on Myers in the corner and repeatedly put the boots to Myers as Miller seemed incredulous that this is happening and talked about her unsettlement after her interview earlier. Myers tried to rally but matt beat him on the ropes and the Hardys hit the rope guillotine/leg drop on the apron spot. Jeff tagged and a bodypress got a two count. Hardy locked a chinlock but Myers recovered with a  jaw breaker and tagged Alexander. However, Alexnader quickly fell prey to an armdrag and an armlock as Vincent tagged back into the ring Vincent quickly tagged, followed by Matt. Vincent and Matt hit a double back elbow for a two count as we head to break.

..and another Black History Month TNAPlus ad with Killings, this time part of the Three Live Kru as they take on Johnny Swinger, Simon Diamond and Glen Gilberti/Disco Inferno. It’s the same package they showed previously so let’s F FWD, if no one has issues.

We come back to live (by and large) action with Edwards escaping a Hardy armlock and tagging Bronson. That, naturally, lead to Matt tagging Dutch as we get the hoss portion of the match. The two collided in the ring and no-sold it. Then, the two started to trade punches with Dutch getting the upper hand. Bear tried to get lift Dutch on his shoulders to no avail. Dutch grabbed Bronson and attempted the Twist of Fate but Bronson escaped. Instead, Dutch hit an overhead Exploder suplex as Vincent got into the ring.  The two hit the Poetry in Motion spot on Bronson as the Hardys celebrated.

However, Bronson threw Vincent into the ropes. Vincent attempted a tilt-a-whirl move but Edwards came into the ring. Vincent dispatched Edwards but Bronson grabbed Vincent and hit the CHokebomb for a two count. Bronson slugged away on Vincent and tagged Myers. Myers slugged away on Vincent and hit the chinlock. Vincent tried to rally but Myers hit a flying knee to stem the tide.

Bronson tagged back into the match and continued to beat on Vincent. Bronson scaled the ropes and, after teasing the Hardys dance, hit a flying elbowdrop for a two count. Bronson continued to maul Vincent and tagged Alexander. Alexander booted Vincent and started to beat on him. Vincent tried to rally but Alexander hit a German Suplex. Vincent rallied again and beat on the System in their corner. He dropped the System and NOW Vincent got the tilt-a-whirl Russian Legsweep to drop Alexander.

Vincent got the hope crawl and hot tag on Matt as Edwards also tagged Hardy was a compound on fire and dropped Edwards with a series of back elbows and then dispatched Myers. Matt grabbed Alexander and Edwards and hit simultaneous DDT/Neckbreaker. Hardy hit the Side Effect on Edwards for a two count until Myers interrupted the pin. Vincent hit a DDT on Myers until Bronson clotheslined him. Jeff ran into the ring and hit the Twist of Fate on Bronson. Alexander attacked Jeff but Dutch entered the ring and got the Death Walks (Bossman Slam) on a charging Alexander.

Dutch charged Edwards but Edwards ducked and Dutch went to the apron and then kicked to the floor by Edwards. Matt grabbed Edwards and hit a reverse DDT for a two count. Edwards threw Matt to the ropes and Vincent tagged. Edwards hit the Blue Thunder Bomb. Edwards set up the Boston Knee Party (shining wizard) but Vincent pushed Matt out of the way and sacrificed himself. Vincent sacrificed himself and took the move and Edwards got the win for the System.

Post Match: The System beat on the faces as Moose’s music hit as he made his way (slowly??) to the ring. He attacked Bronson on the mat and Alexander on the apron. He got into the ring and attacked Myers and Edwards.  However, Bronson blocked the big boot and all four member of the System quickly swarmed Moose. All four beat on Moose as Alish Edwards ran to ringside and tried to cover Moose. She screamed at the System to leave as Edwards yelled at her to move. She continued to yell at the System as the credits rolled.

Impactful Ruminations

One: Despite the crowd’s worst efforts during the segment, that was a great segment with Maclin and Hannifan. I always though Maclin was an action guy with passable mic skills but this really was a showcase for Maclin’s mic skills. It all seemed incredibly believable, with Hannifan doing masterful work in making it all seem believable. Even Rehwoldt added some realism in his brief involvement.

Two: We made it through a whole show without intergender violence. I mean, we had some child menacing and moments where they could have gone that route (Stone and the Great Hands and the Alisha Edwards closing segment) but they didn’t – good for them.

Three: The action was good during this show. The main event was somewhat paint by numbers but did enjoy Vincent sacrificing himself to eat the pin from Edwards. That was a nice job.

Four: Stone getting the pin on Steelz was done, I reckon, primarily to keep Stone elevated in the title hunt.

Five: I always find it funny when Ash by Elegance, who is shown as this, well, elegant woman starts to get mad and the Cleveland comes out of her. It’s a neat comedic change of pace of sorts. The whole segment with James seems like an odd one off challenge but am intrigued how they are going to book this. Also, James is a HOF in TNA and her hubs is the Smackdown GM; they couldn’t afford a better babysitter than Threat?

Six: Speaking of Threat (and Stone prior,) I had an idea that came to me. What if Hudson and Myla Grace attacked Threat and pinned it on THe Collective? It gives them a chance get some more run and more notice. I don’t they will but it would be an interesting way to go.

Seven: I guess we had to acknowledge Young’s winning the X-Division title contract in the “Feast or Fired” match, so this seemed like the only way to go. I am not a huge Young fan but it does make for the best possible transition given the circumstances to have Slater feud with Young. I am not a fan of the feud but the quicker we get through it, the better.

Eight: Daria Rae continued with her “off-again/on-again” mic skills as she meandered from good salient points to forcing her character. The shoulder pads are distracting, too. She still worked better in short doses when it sounds real and she hit some of those marks but then she continues and loses the momentum.

Nine: My biggest gripe was something that gnaws at me from time to time (aside from the crowd.) The refereeing is just so inconsistent. Why there was no disqualification when Luna clearly brought the chain and ignored the referee’s warning took me out of a good match (Luna really is doing great work and would love to see her in a title shot sooner vs. later.) That was just silly. On the other hand, Warner grabbed a chair and used it on Francis that immediately drew a disqualification, which is how it should be.

10: Speaking of Warner, I am still not sold on his face turn and the face paint. Francis is starting to feel wasted in his role and hope something better comes his way here. Also, wearing a hometown team’s jersey? That’s a-face turning.

Lastly, Did anyone check on Threat? Is she still here? Should we call someone? Anyone?

Keep Fighting the Good Fight.

TNA Impact Review – February , 19, 2026

By Scott Herrin on 20th February 2026

Greetings, we are back in the “Music City” for another episode of TNA Impact. However, we don’t need another “Music City Miracle”  and divine intervention to get through this (or maybe we do) ; we do have Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on announce duties (which helps) and McKenzie Mitchell doing the ring announcing (Gia Miller is ????) So, let’s put away seeing if Frank Wychek’s pass was a lateral or not, hunker down and enjoy some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

TNA Impact: No Surrender Review – February 13, 2026

By Scott Herrin on 14th February 2026

To quote Minnie Pearl “Hoooowwwwddyyyy!!!!” Welcome, y’all, to the TNA Impact’s No Surrender Pay per View Special coming from Nashville, Tennessee, next door to Tennessee State University and a stone’s throw from the fabled Ryman Auditorium and former home of the Grand Ole’ Opry. We got Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt – not picking and grinning – but doing the announcing. Gia Miller and McKenzie have backstage and ring announcing duties. Hopefully, watching this isn’t too tall a task (Tennessee State’s most famous NFL alum is Ed “Too Tall” Jones.) IT’s not a bachelorette party, as Nashville is known, but it is still a great time; so, sit back, relax and engage in some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

(note: thank you, all, for the indulgence in letting me finish this on Saturday. I needed to write but also needed the rest. I appreciate the opportunity for both.)

We get some Pre-game Festivities:

TW3 and Brad Attitude vs. Sinner and Saint (Judas Icarus and Travis Williams)

TW3 and Brad Attitude head into the ring first with little fanfare. Sinner and Saint make their way next doing a trust fall (?) exercise with Icarus falling into Wiliams arms. Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk about the whereabouts of where they have been (it’s been a month.) Meanwhile, in the ring, Attitude mocked Icarus and stomped on his foot and grabbed a headlock. He dropped Icarus with a shoulder block and taunted Icarus some more. Icarus grabbed a headlock and Attitude threw him to the ropes. However, Wiliams got the blind tag and the tandem hit a shoulder block and arm breaker combination.

TW3 tagged and landed a series of kicks but Williams landed a running knee to the gut in the ropes. Icarus tagged and hit a double slingshot grourdbuster and then landed a double seated dropkick for a two count. Icarus chopped away on TW3 and Wiliams tagged. TW3 escaped a suplex attempt but Wiliams stopped Attitude from interfering. TW3 reversed a whip to the ropes and Wiliams was attempting a handspring leap off the ropes. However, Attitude grabbed him on the ropes and TW3 hit a rolling double kick to the torso of “The Saint” for a two count.

TW3 slammed Williams and tagged Attitude who hit a leaping senton over the ropes for another two count. Williams tried to rally but Attitude caught Williams leaping out of the corner and hit a Flatliner for a two count. TW3 tagged but Wiliams tried to rally but TW3 locked a chinlock. Williams got to this feet but TW3 hit a dropkick off the ropes. Attitude tagged and beat on Williams but a East River Crossing slam was reversed into a DDT.

Williams tried for a hope crawl but Attitude held him back. Williams got free and NOW hit the handspring lariat to drop Attitude. NOW, Williams got the hope crawl and tagged Icarus. Icarus was a waxwork on fire as he attacked TW3, who tagged into the match, with a series of chops and a bodydrop. Icarus hit a running kick to the corner and a spinning brainbuster got two-and-a-fraction. Icarus climbed to the second rope but Attitude distracted him and TW3 knocked Icarus to the mat.

Attitude entered the fracas and the two tried to double suplex Williams but Icarus caught him and Williams laded on his feet. The heels threw Icarus into Wiliams but Williams caught him and helped launch a clothesline on Attitude. Icarus backdropped TW3 onto the apron and started to beat on him. Meanwhile Wiliams ran to the turnbuckle and launched a dropkick over the ropes to drop TW3 to the floor. Williams hit the ropes but Icarus redirected him and Williams hit a flying clothesline on TW3 between the ropes on the floor. A lout “TNA” chant emerged as Icarus climbed to the top rope and hit a Frog Splash that nearly got the win but Attitude interrupted the pin. Icarus clothesline Attitude over the ropes and Wiliams met him with a running penalty kick. Williams tagged  and the two hit running kicks in the corner on TW3. Icarus tagged and the two hit a back suplex running head kick combination for the victory.

Post Match: The two celebrated briefly in the ring and then made their way quickly up the rampway. We head up to a quick TNAPlus ad.

We get Gia Miller who requested this time to interview a special guest who is a legend in the sport and was Miller’s trainer – Mike Jackson. Jackson looked great for someone in the 70s. He said you don’t have to call him Mr. Jackson, just call him “Action Mike.” He has been all over the country when it comes to TNA, they don’t have to a backseat to anyone. They don’t need applause signs or cheerleaders they need…..

BUT WAIT, here is Steph DeLander and Mance Warner into the shot. DeLander called Jackson grandpa and told Miller to shut up. She felt that they have been disrespected for too long and run down Miller and Jackson. Jackson puts the kibosh on that saying you can disrespect him but not Miller. DeLander said she doesn’t respect Jackson and sure doesn’t respect Miller. Jackson responded by saying he has been in the ring with some of the biggest names in wrestling and Warner isn’t one of them.

Warner asked if Jackson wanted to go? DeLander said if Jackson wanted to go, why doesn’t he go tonight against Mance Warner in a ..Jackson said it will be a long night for Warner and whatever DeLander is.

We go back to ringside and get the next match:

Alan Angels (hey…) vs. Ryan Nemeth

Angels got a pop. Nemeth was next (with a  “little brother energy” t-shirt.) Hannifan and Rehwoldt talked about the match on Thursday versus Mara Sade. The two get ready to lock up BUT WAIT, Frankie Kazarian’s music started to play and Kazarian has a mic in his hand and wants his music cut.

“Nashville, Tennessee,” he said. “Funny because the only Tenn-I-See is me.” They are not going to see the next match but are going to hear the latest King’s Speech segment. He wanted the stagehands to set up the ring (berating them as they made their way down the ramp and into the ring.) Kazarian wanted Nemeth and Angels to leave.

Nemeth grabbed the mic and said he was a big fan of the segment and he sees the stools and the speakers and wondered how many scarves there were. He said he was supposed to wrestle but he is gong to get paid no matter what so he dorkily left the ring. Kazarian said he signed a brand new TNA contract. He got a substantial raise. With Kazarian leading the way, the ratings are sky high and are now on AMC. And thanks to Daria Rae, he will soon be back in the title picture.

Meanwhile, Angels stood bemusingly in the corner and then wandered to the other side and talked to the fans. The fans started a loud “We don’t care” chant. They may not care about body odor and bathing but they will care about what he has to say. Speaking of the World Title Picture, Kazarian reiterated that he wrestled Santana with a surgically repaired left hand. He didn’t tell anyone, he taped and fought like a man.

Santana has a huge target on him and Kazarian will be watching closely. He reiterated that Slater is the X-Division title and could challenge his partner. The crowd started a loud “wrap it up” chant and Kazarian rebutted that the person who should have wrapped it up was their dad. Get the aloe vera, we have us a burn.

Kazarian turned and looked at Angels. Kazarian said maybe he didn’t hear him and he should leave the ring. Angels went to go but turned around and grabbed the mic from Kazarian. Angels said it has been a year TNA or so that he has been there but he didn’t remember KAZARIAN BEING SUCH AN anal orifice. Kazarian grabbed the mic and said he doesn’t know who Angels thinks he is but when “the King” speaks, the marks listen. He reiterated that he wanted Angels to leave the ring. Angels refused.

Kazarian took of his glasses and said this is what is going to happen: he will turn around, put the mic down and then punch Angels in the face. He did that but as he turned around, Angels slugged him and Kazarian went to the floor. Angels said if he is “the King,” he should get int the ring, cross the line and maybe Angels will take the crown from him.

Kazarian took his time but got on the apron. Angels grabbed the top rope and flipped Kazarian over the ropes and into the ring. Angels started to beat on “The King” in the corner. Kazarian threw Angels into the corner but Angels leapt over a charging Kazarian and then grabbed Kazarian for a roll up and a two count. After another pin attempt, Kazarian got to his feet and slugged Angels to the mat. Angels recovered and got a hurincanrana off the ropes. He dove between the ropes to drop Kazarian. Angels threw him back into the ring and hit a high bodypress off the top rope for a two count.

Kazarian reversed a pedigree attempt into a bull rush into the corner. However, Angels turned a tilt-a-whirl attempt into a Rings of Saturn submission attempt. Kazarian reversed it. Kazarian tried for a (rope assisted) pin but the referee saw the shenanigans. Angels again tried for a rollup and got another two count. The two struggled for position as Kazarian ran Angels into the ropes. Angels back elbowed Kazarian and attempted an Asai Moonsault. Kazarian, though, was waiting for him and locked in the Chicken Wing submission for the victory.

Post Match: Kazarian soaked in the boos of the crowd and admonished the referee as we go to a hype piece for the main card tonight.

We go backstage and see Arianna Grace getting excited about the possibility of “Stacks” Lorenzo defending his title and her winning the Knockouts World Title. She asked Lorenzo if she knew what that meant. Lorenzo did and they continued to hype each other and Grace said they were going to be the preeminent power couple in wrestling. Lorenzo said he should thank Santino Marella for this opportunity. Grace said she was going to make her dad so proud.

We go to Hannifan and Rehwoldt at the announce table. They ran down the entire card and talked about each match. With that being said, we go to the main card and kicking off the show is….a hype piece for TNA Wrestling being in Nashville. We hear that TNA is white hot right now as we get action shots interspersed with shots of people walking through downtown Nashville. It’s a pretty good video montage.

We get welcomed to Nashville by Rehwoldt and Hannifan. And go right to the opening match:

Battle Royal for a future Knockouts World Title: Mara Sade, Tessa Blanchard, Mila Moore, Victoria Crawford, Elayna Black, Myla Grace, Rosemary, Tasha Steelz, Harley Hudson, Jody Threat and Jada Stone

We get some competitors already in the ring as we see the entrance of and get a quick shot of rapper Westside Gunn. The Diamond Collective is next and Rehwoldt remind us that they work great as a team but it is every woman for herself. Black is out last and Hannifan and Rewholdt talk about Black’s connection with Daria Rae and poses in the ring.

The action picked up at the onset as Rosemary threatened all the women . Hudson immediately jumped her and beat her on the corner. The Collective beat on Stone as Rosemary turned her attention to Threat. Steelz and Sade paired off in the corner as Rosmary went after Grace. Rosemary attempted to eliminate Grace but Grace held on to the rope. Grace’s partner helped her but Rosemary  threw her to the apron. Threat helped Grace and Hudson and clotheslined Rosemary over the top rope. Rosemary grabbed a chair from under the ring but the referee prevented her from using it.  Rosemary chased the referee through the crowd and out of picture.

Meanwhile, in the ring, Hudson beat on Sade but we catch a glimpse of Stone getting some revenge and throwing Steelz over the top rope. Stone was taunting Steelz as Black crept behind her, grabbed her and threw her over the top rope. Steelz and Stone started to beat on each other. In the ring, Hudson and Grace and the Diamond collective (sans Blanchard) squared off with each other. Grace hit a sliding kick on Crawford and was taunting her. However, Moore grabbed Hudson and threw her over the top rope. Grace realized what happened and the Collective focused their attack on Grace. Crawford hit a Northern Lights Suplex on Grace and Moore hit a knee drop off the ropes.

Black and Sade were fighting each other on the ropes. Meanwhile, Moore set Grace on the apron and Crawford came off the ropes with a kick to eliminate her. Meanwhile, Threat and Blanchard were brawling in the corner. The rest of the Collective tried to help their partner. Threat threw Crawford into the corner and hit a series of forearms until Moore pulled her back. Threat recovered and put Crawford on the apron but Moore continued her attack and put Threat on the turnbuckles. Moore climbed the turnbuckles but Threat fended her to the mat. Threat slugged Crawford for good measure. Moore tried for a superplex but Threat blocked it and put Moore on the apron. Blanchard tried to help but inadvertently knocked Crawford and Moore to the floor, thus eliminating them.

That left Sade, Blanchard, Black and Threat. Black and Sade fought in the corner. Black hit a running knee in the corner. She tried it again but Sade caught her on the ropes. Sade tried to eliminate Black but Black held on to her hair to stave off elimination. The two fought on the apron but Sade blocked a kick and hit a superkick to eliminate Black. However, Sade remained on the apron. Blanchard took the opportunity to sneak behind her and eliminate her.

That left Black and Blanchard as the final two. Blanchard posed for the crowd after eliminating Sade. Threat snuck behind her. Blanchard backed into her. Threat got Blanchard on her shoulders and hit the Pop, Shove It on Blanchard to the floor. Threat was the winner of the Battle Royal.

Post Match: Threat celebrated the win and the crowd popped for her. Hannifan reminded the audience that Threat had a Knockouts title opportunity a few months ago but opted not to enact it due to the nature of the win. Now, she has a clear, undisputed opportunity to go after the title.

We go to Hannifan and Rehwoldt who reiterate the rest of the main card. And then throw to Gia Miller backstage.  We get an interview with Santana and Slater. He shouts out Nashville and wanted to keep a buck with Miller. He likes to keep the grass cut to see what is coming, especially with the snakes like Edwards and Nemeth. Miller brought up that this is Slater’s first match in a month and how is he feeling? Slater is excited. It was great to see TNA smash it every week. She said Daria Rae has been talking up “Option C” with him but he is still the youngest X-Division champion; hie is proudly carrying the X-Division on his back.  It’s something he won’t know, especially against Santana. Santana finished by saying if they want to come at Papi, and come after (the title,) they best not miss because he is going to eat them alive.

We head to ringside for the match BUT WAIT, JELLY ROLL is here amongst the crowd. Hannifan talked about his success with the Grammy Awards. After a huge round of applause for the Roll, we get the first match.

International Title: Stacks Lorenzo (with Arriana Grace in tow)  vs. Trey Miguel

Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk about how Miguel got the title shot. Miguel is out first as is joined by accomplished country music writer Teddy Swims (who looks like Joe Gacy and jelly Roll.) Miguel gets into the ring and acknowledges the crowd and got a good pop actually. The lights dim and Lorenzo makes his entrance. He and Grace walk hand-in-hand down the ramp and into the ring. Stacks posed on the turnbuckles as Grace gazes lovingly at him.

Lorenzo threw his shirt at Miguel but Miguel attacked and dropped him with a tackle and hit a series of punches on the mat. Lorenzo headed to the corner and Miguel again mauled the Champion in the corner as a loud “let’s go Trey” chant emerged. Miguel chased Lorenzo but the champ used Grace as a human shield. Miguel stopped and blew a kiss to her. This incensed Lorenzo who charged Miguel but was met with a superkick. Miguel got  in the ring and hit the ropes but Lorenzo tried to stop Miguel’s leap with his knee. Miguel grabbed the knee and blocked it. Miguel hit the turnbuckles and hit a dropkick over the ropes to drop Lorenzo to the mat.

Miguel hit the ropes again and tried for a leap over the ropes but Lorenzo moved and Miguel hit nothing but the floor mats. Lorenzo put the boots to Miguel on the floor. Lorenzo taunted the fans and then choked Miguel on the apron with his boot. He beat on Miguel (draping the bunting over him to keep him ensnared. Lorenzo distracted the ref and Grace eye raked Miguel under the bunting but in sight of the camera.

Lorenzo whipped Miguel hard into the turnbuckle. Lorenzo beat on Miguel in the corner but a taunt was turned into  series of punches . But, the rally was short-lived as Lorenzo hit a clothesline off the ropes to drop Miguel for a two count. Lorenzo body slammed Miguel and taunted Marella with his trombone march. Lorenzo hit a flying forearm to the mat and then locked in a chin lock.

Lorenzo cinched ii but Miguel tried to fight out of it. However, Lorenzo threw Miguel to the ropes and choked him with the ring rope. Lorenzo kicked the rope to damage Miguel’s neck and then hit a leg drop for a two count. Lorenzo draped Miguel on the ropes and climbed to the top. After nearly botching his ascent, Lorenzo adjusted himself and tried a double stomp. However, Miguel moved and Lorenzo landed on the apron. Miguel recovered and beat on Lorenzo. However, Lorenzo leapt over the ropes behind Miguel and tried for a roll up. Miguel blocked it but Lorenzo threw Miguel into the ropes. Miguel leapt on the bottom rope and then slid around Lorenzo and hit a German Suplex. Miguel  and Lorenzo got to their feet. Lorenzo tried to attack Miguel in the corner but Miguel fended him of  climbed to the top rope and hit a missile dropkick.

Miguel slid under a Lorenzo clothesline and hit a hurincanrana. Miguel hit a series of kicks to drop Lorenzo and then hit a double foot stomp on Lorenzo’s back for a two count. Miguel climbed to the top rope  but Grace distracted Miguel enough for Lorenzo to recover and hit a double chop. Lorenzo climbed to the top rope and hit a rolling twisting neck drop that looked scary (I mean downright scary, especially since Hannifan and Rehwoldt were talking about Chris Bey.) Lorenzo hit a neckbreaker for a two-and-a-fraction.

Lorenzo put Miguel on his shoulder s but Lorenzo eluded his grasp. Miguel hit the ropes  for an Asai Moonsault but Lorenzo met him with a dropkick. Lorenzo got him on his shoulders and NOW we get a twisting knee to the face (looked kind of ugly) for two-and-a-fraction. Lorenzo set Miguel for the Concrete Shoes finisher (running knee/boot to the back of the head) but Miguel evaded it.

Miguel caught Lorenzo with a knee to the back of the head. He straddled Lorenzo on the turnbuckles and landed a superkick and a 619 to the head of Lorenzo. Miguel climbed to the top and attempted a Meteora but Lorenzo evaded that. Miguel landed on his feet and hit a charging Lorenzo with a back elbow. He climbed to the top and hit Lorenzo with a (sort of) Asai Moonsault and then hit a clean Hero’s Welcome for two-and-a-fraction.

The two traded punches on the mat for the “boo/yeah” spot. Both men got to their feet and Lorenzo blocked a kick and tried to flip Miguel over the top rope but Miguel landed on his feet. Lorenzo still met him with a kick and NOW with Miguel draped on the ropes, Lorenzo climbed to the top and hit the coble stomp to the back of the head of Miguel.

While Lorenzo distracted the ref. Grace slapped Miguel on the floor (I guess we’re no longer conflicted.) The referee got wind of what was happening and ejected Grace from ringside. Grace vehemently protested and Lorenzo went to the floor. Miguel hit the ropes and hit a sliding DDT on Lorenzo to the floor.  Miguel and Lorenzo got in the ring and Miguel hit a corner dropkick. Miguel grabbed Lorenzo and hit the Shell Shock and then the Lightning Spiral for the victory.

Post Match: Swims got in the ring and celebrated with Miguel as TNA President Carlos Silva put the title around his waist. Miguel legitimately cried in during the title presentation. Miguel climbed on the rope turnbuckle and held the title high.

We go to the BioFlex Medical Report. Eddie Edwards has a broken nose but is cleared to wrestle tonight. Santana is cleared but is dealing with a back injury from last night. Hardy is suffering with a litany of injuries but is also cleared for tonight. However, Jada Stone is in evaluation nursing the injuries sustained against the attack by Mustafa Ali from two weeks ago.

We were getting ready for the next match until “money, money, money.” It’s not Ted DiBiase but A J Francis. Francis got a modest round of boos. He reintroduced himself and shouted out the Seattle Seahawks (from he used to play) and got a specialized hat from them. As he was watching the Super Bowl halftime show, he realized how much he and Bad Bunny have in common. They are both rappers and wrestlers and love to be surrounded by beautiful Latin women.

He then focused on Jelly Roll. Mr. Roll, if ever wants to cross the line, TN A J Francis will be waiting for him because he is the reason the ratings popped, regardless of where he is on the card. He made an executive decision and since we love to hear him talk he will be on commentary for the rest of the night (much to Hannifan’s chagrin) he is the best big man in the business and that business is “money, money, money.” Francis made his way to the table and Hannifan barely could contain his sarcasm. Rehwoldt was elated, of course.

NOW, we get the next match:

Mance Warner (with Steph DeLander in tow) vs. Mike Jackson

Warner is first and made his way to the ring. Jackson is next and Hannifan said he broke his own record as the oldest man to compete in TNA Wrestling (76 years old.) Sadly, still doesn’t have the Alabama Junior Heavyweight title with him. Jackson ‘s first match in Nashville was in 1977 against Bobby Eaton, Hannifan said. Francis retorted “That’s cool. My dad was eight-years-old.” In the ring, Warner backed Jackson into the corner and put the boots to him.

Jackson though, evaded a warner charge and  worked the arm with his elbow and dropped Warner on his arm. Warner worked the arm. And went to the top turnbuckle and did the top rope walk around the ring (!)  and dropped an elbow on Warner that sent him to the floor. Jackson hit the ropes for a dive between the ropes but Warner met him with a forearm shot. Warner taunted the fans and got some PDA from DeLander. Warner grabbed Jackson but Jackson blocked a suplex attempt and hit a snap suplex of his own.

NOW, Jackson dove between the ropes and landed on Warner. The crowd gave a very loud “TNA” chant as Jackson got the crowd riled. Jackson threw Warner into the ring but Warner met hi again with a right hand. A “You still got it” chant emerged  for Jackson. Warner chopped Jackson in the corners and then climbed to the second turnbuckle. Warner attempted a flying axe handle but Jackson caught him on the way down with a shot to the abdomen.

Jackson dropped him with a series of punches and clotheslines.  He hit a Rude Awakening neckbreaker and got a two count.  Jackson slugged Warner and then reversed a whip into the ropes into a back elbow. In tried and true fashion, Jackson climbed to the top rope to hit a reverse body press. In tried and true fashion, Jackson missed as Warner moved. Warner hit a running clothesline and then Hit The Pay Window for the victory.

Post Match Francis was critical of Warner and how he took the foot off the gas when fighting Jackson and Jackson almost won. Warner picked Jackso up an offered his hand in sportsmanship.  Jackso was hesitant but eventually hey shook hands. DeLander also offered her hand in sportsmanship and both raised Jacson’s arms in respect.

Francis was incredulous and started to jaw with DeLander. Warner tried to defend DeLander and the two nearly came to blows. DeLander pulled him way and they celebrated up the rampway.
After a TNAMerch ad, we go back to Grace verbally berating Lorenzo about what he just did. This was supposed to be their night; they were going to be the new power couple. This is embarrassing, this wasn’t supposed to be like this. She has a title shot tonight and if anything happens tonight she will break up with him the day before Valentine’s Day and he will eat candy alone. She huffed off camera and Lorenzo was flummoxed and frustrated.

However, we go back to ringside for the next match:

TNA Knockout Tag Team title Match: Xia Brookside and Indi Hartwell vs. the By Elegance Brand

Brookside took Lyra Valkyria’s feathers and took it one step further with a huge set of white wings as she posed on the turnbuckles. Hartwell is next and got a decent pop as she shook hands with all her fands like all of the front row around the ring.

But, it is all immaterial as here is the Personal Concierge. Hannifan said he hoped the ice storm would have taken him out (that’s not nice.) The PC said Nashville is known for good, hot, fried chicken which is why so many of the audience is morbidly obese. Now, keep quiet as he introduced some hot chicks, the TNA Knockouts Tag Champs – The Elegance Brand.  Mr. Elegance led the Brand into the ring. We don’t have a theme to the ring gear as in the past but still coordinated as they posed on the ropes. They do have some odd, distracting sleeves to the gear, though.

M and Brokside started. M grabbed an armlock but Brookside used the ropes to flip out and reverse it. She also hit a dropkick and hit an elbow in the corner as she tagged Hartwell. Hartwell hit a charging M with a big boot and then taunted Mr. Elegance. M escaped Hartwell’s grasp and tagged Heather. Heather charged Hartwell but was met with a side suplex for a two count.

Hartwell slammed Heather into the turnbuckles and beeled threw her out of the corner, still taunting Mr. Elegance and then Ash by elegance. She put the boots to Heather in the corner. Hartwell hit a suplex for a two count. Hartwell got Heather on her shoulders but an eyerake helped Heather escape and tagged M. M hit a running clothesline and started to beat on Hartwell on the mat. Ash and Mr. Elegance taunted Hartwell as M grabbed one of the sleeves and choked Hartwell with it. Hartwell tired to fight out of it but M yanked Hartwell down by her hair to the mat.

Heather tagged back into the match but an assisted wheelbarrow splash was met with Hartwell’s boots. Hartwell tagged Brookside who was a flat on fire and hit a series of clotheslines to drop Heather. Brookside got a drop toe hold on Heather who went face first into the turnbuckles. Brookside followed it with a Meteora and a Russian Leg Seep for a two count.

Heather called for help and got it from Mr. Elegance as he grabbed Brookside arms when Brookside was thrown to the turnbuckles. Heather mauled Brookside in the corner using the ropes for elevated (for her at least,) stomps. The entire Brand went over and taunted Brookside. Heather threw Brookside into the corner and tagged M. She stomped away on Brookside in the corner and then assisted heather into a running back elbow to Brookside in the corner for a two count.

Heather stomped away on Brookside as Ash mocked her from the floor. Brookside tried to rally but Heather hit a knee to the torso and  yanked Brookside to the mat hair first. M tagged but Brookside got a quick rollup but M recovered and hit a bicycle kick for a two count. M laid Brookside on the turnbuckles and hit a leaping double stomp for a two count. Ash continued to mock Brookside and was met with a punch. However, Heather tagged and put the boots to Brookside in the corner.

Heather tried to suplex Brookside but Brookside blocked it and hit a suplex of her own. Both combatants were down but Heather was able to drag Brookside back to the middle of the ring. Heather draped Brookside on the ropes and tagged M who ran the drive by kick on the apron. Hartwell had enough and hit the By Elegance Brand with a dropkick as they sat and celebrated.

Ash implored Heather and M to get up as Brookside hit the hope crawl. M got in the ring but missed an elbow drop. Heather tried to help but Brookside pushed M into Heather and made the tag. Hartwell was also a flat on fire as she hit a series of clothesline on M and a big boot on Heather. She hit M in the corner and bulldogged her out of it =. Hartwell climbed to the top rope and hit an flying elbow drop for a two count until Heather interrupted the pin.

This brought Brookside back into the fray with a Codebreaker on Heather. M got Brookside and hit the Michinoku Driver. Meanwhile, Hartwell recuperated and got a spinebuster on M as they both writhed on the mat. M reversed a Hurts Donut into a rollup which Hartwell reversed for a two count of her own. Hartwell got another big boot on M. However, M bull rushed Hartwell into the corner and made the tag. M threw Hartwell into the ringpost. M got the bow and arrow hold as Heather ascended to the top and hit the double foot stomp (now known as the Nip and Tuck) for the victory. Hartwell had her foot on the ropes but Ash removed knocked her foot without the referee’s knowledge.

Post Match: The Brand started to celebrate but HOLD EVERYTHING. Mickie James made her way to ringside. Ash confronted her but James started to slug her. The two traded shots until James hit the Thesz Press to gain the upper hand. The rest of the By Elegance Brand tried to interfere but Hartwell and Brookside returned and helped the Hall of Famer. The By Elegance Brand beat a hasty retreat away from ringside and up the rampway. They watched the faces celebrate and traded words with the faces. All three faces celebrated in the ring.

We get a run down of future events including the announcement that TNA Rebellion will be held in Cleveland, Ohio and tapings in Syracuse, NY.

We have a match that was booked last night next and a replay of the action from Impact as Eric Young sapped and hit piledrivers on BDE and on security.

BDE vs. Eric Young

BDE was first and livestreamed his entry. BDE met with Miller earlier and said Young doesn’t want someone by his side, he wants a follower. Hannifan said someone will go viral tonight. Young is out next adorned in his mask and poncho. As he threatened the fans around the ring, BDE dove over the ropes and dove on Young.

BDE followed the leap with another dive between the ropes and then a leap over the ropes and hit a senton on Young. BDE threw Young into the ring but Young hit a low blow as BDE attempted a springboard dive. Young wanted to finish early but his Piledriver attempt was reversed into a rollup by BDE. Young dropped BDE with a clothesline. He ran BDE into the turnbuckles. Young attempted to throw Young into the turnbuckles but BDE stopped and back flipped over a charging Young. BDE hit the ropes and attempted an Asai Moonsault but Young caught him and threw him over the top rope to the floor,

Young went to the floor and slugged BDE and slammed him into the apron. Young threw BDE into the ring but a charge was met with a BDE boot. A Blockbuster got a two count and then BDE hit two hurincanranas. But a third attempt was blocked and turned into a running powerbomb for a two count.

BDE tried to rally and slugged away on Young but a charge off the ropes was met with a clothesline for a two count. A Rude Awakening neckbreaker also got a two count. Young wrenched BDE’s neck. BDE tried to rally again and got a Scorpion Death Drop for a two count. Young reversed a rolling body press into a nice powerslam for a two count. Young choked BDE on the ropes. Young mauled BDE in the corner. Young dropped BDE with a punch in the corner as a “Maniac” chant emerged. Young slowed down the action and clotheslined BDE in the corner.  Young continued to slug BDE as the referee checked on BDE. Young ran BDE into the turnbuckles and threatened there fere. The two traded punches in the “boo/yeah” spot reprise. But BDE got the better of that and beat on Young in the corner.

A clothesline and a back elbow connected in the corner. After a flying turnbuckle splash BDE jumped on the ropes and connected with the Clip Cutter (Springboard Cutter) for a two count. BDE threw Young into the turnbuckles who did the Flin Flon Flip and Fly and headed to the other turnbuckle. BDE met him there but Young bit BDE in the head and dropped BDE to the canvas. A flying elbowsmash got a two count and Young accosted the referee onto the floor.

Young attempted another piledriver but BDE backdropped Young to reverse it. BDE leapt but Young got him on his shoulders and connected with a Death Valley Driver for a two count as a “BDE” chant emerged. Young put BDE on the turnbuckles but BDE bit Young and Young fell to the mat. BDE hit a Canadian Destroyer for two-and-a-fraction.

BDE climbed to the top, yet again; but this time Young threw the ref into the ropes and BDE crotched himself on the turnbuckles. BDE crumpled to the mat and NOW Young hit the Piledriver for the win.

Post Match: Young made his way up the rampway with raising his arm in victory.

We go backstage to the lockers and we see Threat who said 2026 is the year of the Wild Child. She is going straight to the top. Harley Hudson and Myla Grace are there to help her celebrate as the entered the frame. Uh-oh, here comes, the Diamond Collective from the other side. Blanchard said they should be celebrating me because she won the match. The two threated each other and Threat booked a match for this Thursday on TNA Impact. Blanchard said she will give you a clinic why she is better than her. She will find out that Blanchard doesn’t succumb to threats, she eliminates them (see what she did there.) As the DC walked off frame.

We get a title match next and we get a recap of the drama between Grace and Marella (with a side helping of Lorenzo.)

TNA Knockouts Championship Lei Ying Lee vs. Arianna Grace (with “Stacks” Lorenzo in tow)

Grace is out first as Hannifan talked about Grace’s less than stellar record. He said Grace has done nothing to earn a title shot. Lee is out next with her kicks and poses. Rehwoldt agreed with Hannifan but said she used her connection with her dad to get the shot and that is why Daria Rae is here in the first place.

Lee and Grace measured each other and the two fought for position for a while until Lee backed Grace into the corner. Grace shoved and finger poked Lee  until Lee had enough and landed three spinning roundhouse kicks and Grace beat a quick retreat into Lorenzo and the floor. Lee went after her but Lorenzo stood in front of her as Grace beat a retreat around the ring. Lee pursued her into the ring but after dodging two clotheslines off the ropes, Lee fell victim to a knee in the abdomen. Grace put Lee on her shoulders but Lee evaded and landed on the apron . She flipped over Grace and as Grace charged, Lee hit a sliding kick to drop the challenger. Lee also hit a running knee and a dropkick.

Lee charged Grace and started the 10-punch turnbuckle spot but HOLD EVERYTHING – “Doomsday” Dani Luna made her return and made her way down the ramp. Hannifan reminded people that Luna was supposed to challenge for the title at Genesis but had travel issues.  Luna booted a security officer as she made her way backstage.

Meanwhile, in the ring, Grace got the upperhand and hit a neckbreaker for a two count. Grace choked Lee on the ropes, using her hair as leverage. She hit the apron and slammed Lee’s face into the apron. Grace continued to attack Lee on the floor. However, Lee blocked a suplex attempt and got Lee on her shoulders. Lorenzo tried to interfere but Lee went after him. This gave Grace time to recover and run lee into the ringpost.

Grace continued her assault with a suplex on the floor to Lorenzo’s approval. Back in the ring, Grace got a hangman’s cravat but Lee reversed it with a roll up for a two count. Lee hit a series of strikes and reversed a cradle into a backslide for two. Grace rallied with a corkscrew uppercut and a arm lock with her knee in the back for extra leverage.

Lee managed to get to her feet and threw Grace off of her. Grace missed a running splash into the corner. Lee rallied again with a series of strikes and a series of kicks. Grade retreated into the corner and Lee got ready to pounce. NOW, we get the 10-punch turnbuckle spot and an Exploder suplex for two-and—a-fraction. Grace made it to the ropes and told Lorenzo something. Lee crawled over and there was a tug of war but Lee won. Grace got a quick roll up for two. She followed with a assisted knee lift off the ropes and a twisting neckbreaker for a two count.

Grace dragged Lee to the corner and stomped the champion. She went to the top rope and dedicated it to the fans. Lee recovered and hit Grace with a series of strikes. She got on the ropes but Grace headbutted Lee off the top rope. Grace leapt but Lee evaded. Grace landed on her feet. Grace charged but Lee got behind her and hit a German Suplex.

Lee lifted Grae onto the top rope and climbed again to the top rope. Grace again, slugged away on Lee. Lee traded punches and NOW Lee hit the superplex. Both combatants were on the floor. The two traded shots again with Lee getting the upper hand but a pump kick landed  for Grace but  Lee avoided a round house and Lee connected with a spinning kick that dropped Grace. Lee got Grace on her shoulders and attempted the Warrior’s Way but Grace eyeraked to get out of it.

Meanwhile, Lorenzo slid the Knockouts title to Grace but Lee got a roll up and Grace couldn’t hold the belt. After a two count, Lee hit a running kick and then dove between the ropes and dropped Lorenzo on the floor. As Lee got back into the ring, Grace hit the ropes and hurt Lee. Grace than grabbed THE COBRA from her tights. She did the Santino move and struck Lee with it. She then got Lee on her shoulders and hit the Graceland (a fireman’s carry into a knee smash into the face) for the victory….and the new TNA Knockouts champion.

Post Match: Lorenzo climbed in the ring and celebrated with his fiancée. Grace did the mock queen wave with the Cobra hand. Silva got in the ring and put the title on Grace. However, Lorenzo grabbed the title and put it on Grace. Hannifan was incensed and called it in travesty and said this is the darkest moment in TNA Knockouts history (wasn’t that when Jacy Jayne held it?)

We get some hype for TNA Rebellion in Cleveland on April 11.

We also go backstage with BDE recuperating after the Young match and someone is clapping and threw him a game controller. Rich Swann emerged on frame. He said BDE was trying to be “Player One” for too long now. This is where Uncle Swannie comes into play. He said maybe it’s time he slides into the passenger seat and Swann become player one and ready for a Swannie tutorial. Swann has a controller of his own and they start to talk video game talk.

We go backstage to see Nemeth warm up and then cut to Edwards mentally getting ready for the main event match. Slater and Slater are getting ready in another room.

We cut back to Hannifan and Rehwoldt who said eight-man tag action is next:

Order Four (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Jason Hotch and Agent Zero – with Tasha Steelz and extra servicemen in tow) vs. The Hardys (Matt and Jeff) and the Righteous (Vincent and Dutch)

Order Four is first and we get the full production of their entrance. Ali climbed on the turnbuckles and jawed with fans but the arena goes dark and we hear the good news – THe Righteous are coming. The slide guitar and snapping confirm it as the Righteous make their way to ringside (Mitchell does her on inflection on the first syllable of “Righteous.”) The Hardys are next to a huge pop. All four are wearing white. Hardys and Righteous hit the ring and Order Four regroup on the floor as Ali continued to jaw with fans. We get a prolonged entrance as the fans continue to cheer for the Hardys and a huge “Hardy” chant emerged.

After a small debate, Matt and Skyler start the match. Hardy gets an armlock ad ran his arm into the shoulder. Jeff tagged and hit an elbow drop from the second rope on Skyler’s arm. Matt tagged and the two hit a double back elbow followed by the first drop/rolling leg drop combination for a two count. Skyler tagged Hotch and was immediately met with Matt hip toss and again worked the arm. Jeff tagged again and the two hit the rope guillotine catapult and legdrop on the apron spot.

Hotch and Jeff started to argue with each other which brought Ali into the ring as Matt joined the debate. Skyler and Vincent also joined the war of words. Eventually, Dutch and Agent Zero joined them and the words turned to a schmozapalooza. The heels bailed to the floor as Vincent got his strut, the Hardys got the “delete” and Dutch raided his hands to the skies in a pose smorgasbord.  The Hardys shook hands with the Righteous.

Jeff tagged Dutch into the match. Hotch launched himself into Dutch only to be caught. After a quick flurry of offense, Hotch attempted to throw Dutch into the turnbuckles only for Dutch to reverse it and Hotch flew upside down into the turnbuckles. Dutch hit a backdrop and then tagged Vincent. Vincent hit a sliding DDT for a two count. Hotch eventually tagged Ali, who threw Vincent into the corner. Ali attempted another throw into the corner but Vincent reversed it. However, Ali flipped over the charging Vincent. Ali hit the ropes but after repeated criss crosses, Vincent met him with a back elbow that dropped the leader of Order Four.

Vincent reached for a tag but instead pulled back and attacked Ali. Ali reversed it and tagged Zero. Zero hit a chokeslam o Vincent from the apron. Zero gorilla slammed Vincent and quickly tagged Hotch, who quickly tagged Skyler the two beat on Vincent and hit a double shoulderblock that sent through the ropes and to the floor. The Great Hands continued to beat on Vincent until Dutch tried to help.

Ali tagged into the match again. Ali beat on Vincent in the corner as the Great Hands ran around the ring and took out Dutch. Meanwhile, Ali attempted a hurincanrana but Vincent knocked Ali to the floor and hit a Tornado DDT. Vincent got the hope crawl and tagged Matt as Ali tagged Skyler. Hardy dropped Skyler and hit the descending 10 turnbuckle ram spot on Skyler and then the same to Hotch when he tried to interfere. Hotch was slammed out of the turnbuckle and then Hardy hit the Side Effect on Skyler for a two count.

Steelz distracted the referee when Matt attempted the Twist of Fate and Hotch took out Hardy’s legs in the process. Skyler pounded away on Matt but Matt hit a back elbow off the ropes followed by a neckbreaker. Jeff tagged and hit a series of clotheslines followed by the inverted atomic drop, wishbone leg drop and seated dropkick combination. An elbowdrop got a two count. Jeff knocked the rest of Order Four from the apron. The Great Hands tried to gang up on Jeff in the corner but Jeff fended them off and hit a Whisper in the Wind on the Hands before Ali interrupted the pin attempt.

Ali tried to clear the apron of the faces but Vincent got into the fracas and reversed a hurincanrana into a side Russian Legsweep. However, Skyler launched himself between the ropes and dropped Vincent with a slingshot spear. Matt entered the fray and hit a DDT (as Skyler blocked a Twist of Fate attempt.) Hotch dropped Matt with a spinning kick but Jeff hit a jawbreaker. Agent Zero dropped Jeff to the floor and then flew over the ropes and hit a dive on both of the Hardys.

Dutch got into the ring, assessed the situation, hit the topes and hit a dive over the ropes to take out the Great Hands. A “Holy (expletive)” emerged as Zero and Dutch eyed each other across the floor and got into the ring. A “This is awesome” chant emerged as the two traded punches but Zero blocked a punch and hit a nice powerslam as Dutch slid to the floor. Vincent dove on Zero’s back but Zero bucked him to the floor. The Hardys jumped in the ring and started to beat Zero as Vincent joined the fracas. Eventually, the Hardys hit the (middle aged) Poetry in Motion on Zero. The Righteous set up and did the same. All four men beat on Zero as Ali tried to interfere. Zero caught him and tried to sync his forearms to the back with Matt.

The two then hit Twists of Fate as Jeff and Vincent climbed to different corners. They both hit Swanton Bombs until the rest of Order Four interrupted the pin attempts. Another “This is Awesome” chant emerged. The Great Hands threw Jeff to the rampway and attempted a double suplex to the floor until Vincent saved Jeff. They threw the Hands to the floor and Vincent leapt onto them.

In the ring, Steelz threw powder in Dutch’s eyes and was momentarily blinded. Ali threw Matt into Dutch who unknowingly hit Death Walks (Bossman Slam) on Matt. Ali dropkicked Matt out of the ring. Ali climbed to the top and hit the 450 splash and got the victory.

Post Match: The celebration was short lived as the lights go out and we hear Elijah’s music. The lights illuminated as Elijah walked to the rampway followed by four people carrying a guitar shaped casket. Ali headed to the rampway and started to beat on who he thought was Elijah. However, it was a ruse as Elijah pulled an Undertaker and emerged from the casket and started to beat on Ali. Ali fell into the casket but escaped as Elijah tried to close the door. Ali headed to the back as Elijah tipped his hat to the crowd.

We cut backstage to Marella beating on Grace’s door and yelling for her. Rae opened the door and said she was having a conversation with her. Rae admonished Marella and wondered if Marella was looking for his “little sock puppet.” If he so lays a finger on her with that dirty thing, she will have him fired so quickly. She also reminded him that she was a former MMA fighter and will break that snake’s neck.

We go back to Hannifan and Rehwoldt who hype this Thursday’s Impact show with the battle of Elijah and Ali in the “casket match” and the match between Blanchard and Threat. We also get some hype for tonight’s Main Event between Santana and Slater versus Nemeth and Edwards.

We get a highlight reel regarding Santana’s history with both Nemeth and Edwards. We also get a clip of Rae announcing the match and reminding us that Slater has an “Option C” clause as X-Division champion.

Tag Tem Match: Nick Nemeth and Eddie Edwards (with the System – Bear Bronson, Brian Myers and Cedric Alexander – in tow) vs. Mike Santana and Leon Slater

Nemeth was first and carried his “Call Your Shot” Trophy with him. Edwards and the System were next and Edwards caried his “Feast for Fired” suitcase with him. The lights go out and we see the flying saucer graphics and Slater heads to ringside (with new music?) Rehwoldt tried to bring up the “Option C” clause and reminded everyone that Steve Maclin and Santana were friends once. Mitchell got confused as Santana emerged through the crowd; calling the World Champ his partner, then his opponent and then switching to partner, before announcing Santana. Despite the error, the crowd popped huge for Santana’s entrance and a “Santana” chant emerged from the crowd.

Santana and Edwards started the match. Edwards gabbed an armlock but the two traded reversals as Edwards grabbed his nose (injured on Impact.) Santana whipped Edwards to the ropes and the two collided with each other, no selling the impact. The two slugged away at each other and no sold each other’s shoulderblocks until Santana eventually dropped Edwards.

A “Mike Santana” chant emerged as the two stared at each other. The two graded armlocks but Edwards tagged Nemeth. Santana hit a couple of arm drags before Nemeth slugged Santana to the mat. Santana recovered and got a bodyslam on Nemeth. Santana flexed and tagged Slater. Slater hit a double stomp on Nemeth’s arm as Santana held it. He also dropped Nemeth with ha huge dropkick off the ropes.

Slater almost hit the 10-punch turnbuckle spot (got to nine,) before Nemeth blocked the shot. Slater mokeyflipped Nemeth out of the corner. Edwards tagged and Slater hit the rebound kick.  He tagged Santana and the World Champ hit a dropkick off another series of criss crosses in he ropes. He went after Nemeth and that gave Edwards an opportunity to pounce on Santana. Edwards went for a backdrop but Santana reversed it with a kick. Meanwhile, Nemeth skulked his way toward the table that had his Trophy. Santana saw him and slid between the two and kicked Nemeth.

Edwards took advantage of the distraction by elbow smashing Santana when he got back in the ring. Edwards beat on Santana and tagged Nemeth. Nemeth choked Santana on the ropes with his boot. He continued to maul Santana in the corner. Edwards and Nemeth traded tags and tried to double team Santana. Santana threw the two together and “Loud and Proud Boricua” hit an enziguri on Edwards. However, Nemeth booted the champ. The two tried to again double team Santana but Santana broke a clothesline and hit a Asai Moonsault on the heels.

Santana rolled to his corner and tagged Slater. Slater  beat Nemeth with a series of forearm smashes and a running big boot in the corner. Nemeth reversed a whip into the ropes and Edwards kicked the X-Division champ as Slater attempted a handspring move off the ropes. Edwards tagged and beat on Slater in the corner. He tagged Nemeth back into the match and Nemeth bootraked Slater in the face. He also ran Slater’s face across the rope.

Edwards tagged again but the heels failed to double team off the ropes as NOW Slater hit a handspring flying back elbows to Edwards and Nemeth. Slater hit a running big boot to Nemeth in the corner and then threw Edwards to the floor and hit a dive over the top rope onto him. Slater climbed to the top rope but the System components tried to distract him. Santana knocked them from the apron and then hit a dive over the top rope onto the System.

Slater regained his balance and attempted the Swanton 450 but Nemeth moved. Slater rolled through it but Nemeth met him with a superkick. Edwards got a two count from the move. Edwards beat on Slater on the mat and tagged Nemeth. Nemeth beat on Slater and taunted Santana. He choked Slater with his boot and tagged Edwards. Edwards grabbed a face lock. However, Slater fought out of it and suplexed Edwards. Slater tried the hope crawl but Nemeth tagged and dove at Slater to prevent the tag.

Nemeth dragged Slater to the other side of the ring and got a two count from a flying elbow drop. Nemeth hit a series of boot rakes but Slater tried to escape by kicking the back of Nemeth’s leg. Edwards tagged and continued to beat on Slater and then Nemeth tagged again to get another two count from an elbow drop. Nemeth threw Slater into the corner but Slater fended off a Nemeth charge.

Slater tried to leap over the heels to make the tag but they caught him and put him on the apron. Slater fought off a double team, jumped to the floor and dodged and evaded the rest of the System’s attempt to interfere. He slid back into the ring and desperately tried to make the tag but Nemeth and Edwards stopped with inches to go. The advantage was short lived as Slater kicked Nemeth into Edwards and made the tag.

Suffice to say, Santana was una casa de fuego and hit a series of clotheslines. Santana hit a huge chop on Nemeth of the ropes. He evaded an Edwards clothesline into the Rolling Block 50. He caught Nemeth off the ropes and hit the Outline In Chalk (Death Valley Driver) for a two count. Santana tagged Slater. Santana launched Slater into Nemeth. Santana threw Nemeth to the mat face first. Salter hit the Crossover body splash and then got in position as Santana hit a moonsault off of Slater’s back.

The two picked up Nemeth and put him on the apron but Edwards pulled his partner to the floor. This gave Santana an opportunity to dive between the ropes onto Nemeth. That left Slater to leap over the corner and landed on Slater. During the fracas, Maclin emerged from the crowd and started to beat on Santana until security tried to restrain him. Santana went after Maclin. Security desperately tried to regain composure as the two fought through the crowd.

Meanwhile, Slater slid Edwards into the ring and realized he was a victim of a numbers game as he looked for Santana. Slater tried to fight off the heels but did succumb to the numbers game and was beat down. The crowd chanted for Moose as Nemeth taunted Slater by holding his hand for a fake tag. Nemeth taunted Slater and beat on Slater.

Edwards tagged and whipped Slater into the corner. Slater fended off a charging Edwards and hit a missile dropkick to drop Edwards. Slater psyched himself up as Nemeth charged him for a leaping DDT. Slater blocked it and hit a twisting suplex. Edwards crawled to the corner and Slater took turns hitting both opponents with running forearms and a big boot to Edwards. Slater hit another Crossover bodypress onto Nemeth and Edwards and got a two count on Nemeth.

Edwards tried to throw Slater out of the ring but Slater caromed off the ropes and hit a kick on Edwards. He grabbed Nemeth and hit the UFO but in the midst of it, the referee took a bump. This gave the rest of the System a chance to beat on Slater. However, Moose arrived and slowly headed to the ring (I mean, there is a sense of urgency here.) However, the System was nice enough to wait before attempting to beat on Moose. Moose fended off the System and hit a dropkick on Bronson off the ropes, hit an Urinagi and seton on Alexander. He hit a big boot and a powerbomb to the floor on Myers. Moose eyed Edwards. Edwars begged for mercy and headed out of the ring. The two fought on the rampway and to the backstage.

With the odds even, Slater and Nemeth were still on the mat writhing. Nemeth tried to get a quick rollup and dodged a kick from Slater and got another two count off a Fame-asser. A “this is awesome” chant emerged as Nemeth tried to cue up his own Sweet Chin Music superkick. However, Slater beat him to it, climbed to the top rope and hit the Swanton 450 splash for the victory.

Post Match: Slater celebrated in the ring and soaked in the adulation of the crowd as we go off air.

Impactful Ruminations:

Impactful Ruminations:

One: Great return match from Slater. The match was laid out very well. Santana disappearing after the Maclin was a good storyline and Moose helping out as he could moved him into Maclin’s spot in the face hierarchy.

Two: I was thinking about how well Lorenzo had progressed in the ring and is performance was solid. However, those were two really odd moves that looked like botches The move from the top rope was scary and glad no one got injured. This leveled the quality as he was doing well up to that point.

Three: I am not a superfan of Dalmatian matches, but was glad to see Miguel’s emotion with the victory. He was generally very moved after all the things that happened. Did he deserve the scorn? Yeah. But, so far, he apologized and seemed very earnest in appreciation of his victory. Hannfian covering for him by saying he bet on himself without the full story is a little cheap but it’s a corporation and they will defend their own.

Four: Last time, I railed against Rae and her corporate persona. This was far more to my liking where you saw her in short, controlled bursts with a pro wrestler’s slant on her spiel. She seemed the most comfortable and it came through in that brief discussion with Marella.

Five: Threat winning the battle royal was a shock to me. I did not see that coming. It does seem underwhelming unless the meander the title and it ends with either her or Luna holding and we have the Spitfire Explodes match.

Six: Speaking of which, welcome back, Dani. We missed you. She had a great presentation and curious how they treat her going forward and whom the next feud will be.

Seven: A couple of weeks ago, I was musing about a name for the By Elegance Brand finisher. I like the Nip and Tuck. It’s a little dated but It still works. Good match between them and Hartwell and Brookside. With Lee losing the belt (more later,) she and Brookside can pursue tag team title gold together.

Eight: A J Francis is still funny and gold on the mic. I wonder if they think the ship has sailed on him. I don’t think the feud between him and Warner does not scintillate me – and it is not Francis’ fault.  I cannot see Warner as a face for too long.

Nine: Speaking of which, Warner without facepoint is a much more effective scary redneck than facepainted Warner. His face turn was out of the blue and I do not see it working with him.

Ten: I forgot about Saint and Sinner or Williams and Icarus. They are a great team with weird energy and wouldn’t mind a title chase with them

Eleven: Someone needs to teach BDE that not every move has to come with a flip or a dive. I do like the pairing with Swann, though. “Uncle Swannie” would be a good mentor for him. I just don’t need spot after spot after spot after…..

Twelve: Well, Grace won the belt. It has to be a transition title run as it was seen as a joke even in commentary. That was not a great match. Aside from the obvious heel turn, the character is all over the map – serious heel, comedic heel; okay with Lorenzo, angry with Lorenzo. There is way too many balls in the air there. I also feel bad for Lee as she was a good Knockouts champion. Hopefully, she gets in a title mix – single or tag – again very soon.

Thirteen: Since we’re in Nashville and Waylon Jennings is in the Hall of Fame, allow me to some Dukes of Hazzard narration: “Well, right about now, those Hardy boys are about to have a feud kick up a notch with the Righteous when their teamwork left us. Let’s see what twist fate has in store for them.”

Fourteen: Mickie James comeback in Nashville seemed fait accompli. She still looks like she could go for special tag matches against the Brand, if needed. Also, Dustin Nguyen is where????

Fifteen: Very Undertaker-esque ruse by Elijah. Let’s hope this ends the feud. The real tragedy is Ali would be perfect in the mix for the World Title but Santana’s dance card is getting more and more full.

Lastly: Mike Jackson is 76 and did a old school ring rope walk around the whole ring. Dang. Nice Job, Mike, may you eternally be the Alabama Junior Heavyweight champion.

Keep Fighting the Good Fight

TNA Impact Review – 02.12.26

By Scott Herrin on 12th February 2026

Let’s take one last episode from Albuquerque before heading to Nashville for No Surrender probably in one the thousands of Hot Air Balloons that take part in the World’s Largest Hot Air Balloon Festival, held in Alburquerque.  Unlike the festival, we’re not full of hot air and don’t have sandbags to weigh us down. We do have Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt handling the play by play and analyzing, we have Gia Miller and McKenzie Mitchell doing the backstage and ring announcing. We also have you, so let’s enjoy the aerial view of Tingley Coliseum (yes, the people look like ants) from on high and engage in some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

By Scott Herrin on 30th January 2026

Greetings one and all, as we are still in Albuquerque for another iteration of TNA Impact on AMC. Albuquerque is the home of one of five active Continental rifts on the Planet. While that is the case, there are no rifts between Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt who are calling the action and Gia Miller and McKenzie Mitchell handle the backstage and ring announcing. Ther’s no rifts between us, so let’s take in some enchanting action from the Land of Enchantment and engage in some Impactful Discourse? Shall we? We shall.

By Scott Herrin on 17th January 2026

We’re not in the beginning per se, but it is the first Pay Per View of the year as TNA presents “Genesis” from Garland, Texas at the Curtis Culwell Center. We have survived the Exodus of stars and the introduction of new ones as TNA tries to increase its viewership and revenue Numbers. Let’s see who is victorious and who does the Job. Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt will be our major prophets. Gia Miller will offer her Chronicles on what his happening backstage and McKenzie Miller is far from Ruth-less as your ringside announcer. TNA Impact Review – 01.15.26

By Scott Herrin on 15th January 2026

“Overture, curtain, lights/this is it, the night of nights.” Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck sang that years ago and tonight it has new meaning as we get introduced into the “AMC Era” of TNA Impact Wrestling. We are in that city four hours up Highway 45 at the Curtis Culwell Center. All the stars are here (well ones without visa issues, more later.) So, “On with the show this is it;” let’s put on our Thursday best and get ready for some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

TNA Impact Review – 01.08.26

By Scott Herrin on 8th January 2026

TNA Impact has been seen on AXS for 2264 days. Today is its last day. It has taken a sojourn up and down the cable listings; going from Fox Sports, Spike TV, Destination America, Pop, The Pursuit Channel and now AXS. Next week, we get a debut on AMC and what many feel like is a breath of fresh air with a credible, widely known and accepted basic cable channel. That is next week; this week, we wrap up a taping cycle in El Paso and the AXS Era. As we strum our last chords, we leave AXS to Dan Rather Interviews, Sammy Hagar road trips and even Art Mann appearances. However, we will bring one thing over from AXS to AMC – Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.

Happy New Year.  For some it’s new year, new me; around these parts, it’s another TNA Impact taping in El Paso, Texas. The real fun begins in two weeks when Impact moves to AMC. For now, let’s get excited and not fall asleep (El Paso is the burial sight of infamous outlaw John Wesley Hardin, who once shot and killed a man for snoring too loud.) Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt will keep us awake. Gia Miller is handling backstage interviews and McKenzie Mitchell will keep the doldrums at bay with her introductions. The last thing we need to get us going en el noche primera de Dos Mil Veinteseis? Some Impactful Discourse. Shall we? We shall.
