TNA IMPACT Review – 03.19.26
By Scott Herrin on 20 March 2026
welcome all to another edition if TNA Impact Wrestling. The whole gang is here once again Atlanta – Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt are announcing, Gia Miller is backstage handling duties there and telling who is in the ring and where they originate is McKenzie Miller. So, kickback back a spell, pretend like your laptop works (unlike mine – this review brought to you by my IPad) and enjoy some Impactful Discourse. Shawl we? We Shall.
Previously in Impact: We get a review of the situation with Steve Maclin and his interview last week. We also get highlights of the Atlanta Street Fight between Moose and Cedric Alexander.
Music, quick edits, posing, TNA Impact
Frankie Kazarian vs. Home Town Man
Kazarian comes out first and we get HTM’s entrance with Dominique Wilkins throwback jersey and awww…he gave a replica htm mask to a fan. We get a quick rundown of the feud as Kazarian started the beat down in the corner only to be reversed by a backdrop by HTM. HTM does the 10 punch spot in the ropes sliding out of the ring to deliver the 10th punch. HTM put the hots to Frankie in the corner and then hits a running hip attack. Kazarian regains the momentum after an eye rake off HTM’s shoulders. As Kazarian beats on HTM, AJ Francis made his way to ringside and to the announce table. Meanwhile, Kazarian got a tow count form a Russian leg sweep off the ropes.
Kazarian continued the beat down with a slingshot backbreaker for a two count as Hannifan ran down the card tonight. HTM rallied with a clothesline offf the ropes and got the Home Town elbow off the ropes. NOW, he got Kazarian in his shoulders and an airplane spin into a TKO for a two count.
Whist Francis ran down HTM from the announce table, HTM tried for a slice of Hometown Bread (Sliced Bread) but Kazarian blocked it and attempted his Chicken Wing. HTM reversed it into a rollup for two. But, Kazarian reversed a Clothesline to a backstabber and then a sling shot leg drop for two.
The crowd beckoned for HTM and he responded by escaping the Fade to Black but Kazarian sat down on HTM for a tow count. HTM rallied again hitting a big boot on a charging Kazarian and then climbed to the top rope. However, Francis left the announce table and meandered over to the ring. Francis verbally accosted HTM, but HTM responded with a flying body press to the floor to drop Francis. HTM got in the apron and was met by Kazarian. Both dodged each other’s offense but an eye rake slumped HTM. However, Francis recovered and pulled HTM to the floor, thus making Kazarian miss another rope assisted leg drop. Compounding that, Francis attempted to attack HTM but he fended him. HTM got in the ring and caught a groggy Kazarian with a small package and got the victory.
Post match: Francis and Kazarian attacked HTM but the lights went out. Elijah snuck behind them and attempted to el kabong Kazarian but he avoided it and the guitar struck Francis in the back. Francis fell out of the ring and tried to recover from the shot and he and a Kazarian walked up the ramp way.
We go to Gia Miller with the Angel Warriors (Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside.) They face Arianna Grace and “Doomsday” Dani Luna. When asked for thoughts, Lee started the interview in Chinese and Brookside provided translation. Grace has Lee’s title and Grace stole it. Luna may have the power and the Grace has the title. However, the Warriors fight as a team. Lee also reiterated – in English – she has a rematch clause and wants said rematch very soon. Brookside also wants the match signed but for now they focus on Grace and Luna.
We have a (sort of) debut after the break.
when we come back, we see Santino Marella in the locker room writing and Daria Rae enters in shot. She asked what the h e double hockey sticks Marella is doing. He is making a bracket since Santana and “Steve MacLaine ” probably can’t keep their hands off each other. Rae said we already know what’s going to happen
Marella rebutted that failing to prepare is preparing…but Rae told him to shut up since she is talking (still not over as a catch phrase. ) Rae was focused on Luna’s situation since she was to have a title match at Genesis but well…visa issues. Marella brought up Lee who also had a contractual rematch. Marella had an idea – Grace vs. Lee vs. Luna in a “three- ways” match. Rae said that actually is a good idea ( cough lazy booking cough. ) Marella said he had another idea but Rae walked out of the shot. Marella looked frustrated but kept writing,
We go back to ringside with the Personal Concierge. After greeting us, he said he is here to introduce us to someone with the physique of a Greek god in Acropolis.
Also, while everyone here was carving potatoes like a punch of pigs, he was carving himself in the gym. So tonight, is the in-ring debut of……Mr. Elegance.
Mr. Elegance (with Heather and M by Elegance in tow) vs. “Action” Mike Jackson
Hannifan brought up the moment he was discovered and we were fooled that Mr. Elegance was someone from the production crew. When Jackson made his way to the ring, Rehwoldt said we went from the hottest thing on the market to the oldest thing in the market. Jackson got an actual huge pop as Mr. Elegance laughed in the corner.
Mr. Elegance mocked Jackson, backed him into a corner and landed a chop. A “Mike” chant emerged . Hannifan this is part of the Elegance Brand strategy of attacking the legends of wrestling and covered the incident with Mickie James (and her son,) the incident with ODB and the disruption of Goldy Locks’ interview last week. Meanwhile, Mr, Elegance attempted another chop but Jackson avoided it and hit an arm drag on Mr. Elegance, frustrating him. Mr. Elegance shoved Jackson to rhe ropes but Jackson ducked when Elegance charged; holding the top rope as Mr. Elegance flew over it. Jackson followed it with a dive between the ropes (he got most of it.) the crowd popped huge for that.
Mr. Elegance staggered back into the ring and slumped in the corner. He recovered just enough to charge Jackson as he got in the ring. Jackson, again, avoided the charge and sent Mr. elegance crashing into the ring post.
Jackson grabbed an armlock and hit an armlock drop. At this point, the crowd is going nuts. Jackson grabbed another armlock walked to the turn buckle and did the old-school rope walk halfway across the ring and dropped the elbow on Mr. Elegance’s arm. And now, the straps are down as Jackson slugged away in Mr. elegance – each punch getting a huge reaction.
The two faced off in the ring but Mr. elegance got the upper hand, ironically, with a boot to the mid-section. He dropped Jackson with a punch. He threw Jackson into the turnbuckles face first and hit a running clothesline to the back of the head. Mr. Elegance taunted Jackson by standing over him as a very audible “you suck” chant emerged, angering the Personal Concierge.
Meanwhile, Mr. Elegance continued his beatdown with a body slam and a series of poses. He hit the ropes and hit the People’s errrr….the Elegant elbow drop. He continued to taunt Jackson and got him in his shoulders. He hit his finisher – the Excusez Mois (Fireman’s Carry Spinebuster,) arrogantly sat on Jackson and got the win.
Post match: Mr. Elegance continued to pose and taunt Jackson. The Personal Concierge instructed the Elegance Brand a brand to lift Jackson to his feet and gave Mr. Elegance two cups of meat to treat him like the pig he is. But, HOLD EVERYTHING, ODB’s music hit and she made her way to ringside with a chair. After a couple of swigs from her flask, she got in the ring. Mr. Elegance taunted her but took a chair shot in the abdomen and the back.
She then turned to the Personal Concierge, which brought great elation from Hannifin. She grabbed the two cups and threatened the PC. The PC beat a hastily retreat but Mr. Elegance was not so lucky. As he was on his feet against the apron, he was doused with the meat cups. ODB raised Jacosn’s hand to huge applause. The By Elegance Brand disgustedly made their way up the ramp.
We go backstage to the System. Bear Bronson said the tag team title is within their reach and he can taste it. He threatened Matt and Jeff Hardy and said he and Brian Myers are coming for that title and when he drops Jeff on his bad neck (compared to his good one?) it will be all over for him.
Cedric Alexander is next and asked where Leon Slater had been and if he is ducking and dodging him (actually just back from the UK with Visa issues but….) he said Slater owed him an X-Division title match and he is coming to collect. Eddie Edwards continued by saying “tick tock,” that is the sound of Santana’s world title reign coming to a painful end and Edwards becomes a three-time, three-time World Title champion. Myers finished it by saying that tonight it is Myers vs. Moose for the first time. He talked about their history together and said they laid the foundation for the System three years ago when they became a team. Myers said he carried him for all those years and hoped he retained some knowledge in that thick skull of his because he is going to need it tonight.
We good back to ringside for more hype of tonight’s card and we get Knockouts tag action after the break. When we return, we get some hype for TNA Sacrifice next Friday in New Orleans.
Dani Luna and Arianna Grace (with “Stacks” Lorenzo in tow) vs. the Angel Warriors.
Luna is out first. She again had the chain wrapped around the camera person and pulled them closer to the stem the camera. She made her way to the ring with a chain.. Grace was next and she and Lorenzo gave us some PDA and walked hand—in-hand to the ring. The Warriors were next as Lee went through her martial arts laden routine followed by Brookside, once again adorned in huge wings (the likes that would make Lyra Valkyria jealous.) we get some hype from Hannifan about the Triple Threat match next Friday at Sacrifice. Both Hannifan and Rehwoldt mused how Luna and Grace would work as a team. Rehwoldt said if it was him, he would destroy his opponents, then destroy his partner and ask for his title shot ASAP.
Luna and Brookside started. Luna got behind Brookside and slammed her to the mat. Brookside tired to do the same but Grace reversed it and slammed her once again and grabbed a front facelock. Brookside blocked two suplex attempts but Luna got her up in the third. Lee came into the rig and caught Brookside. They booted “Doomsday” and attempted a double suplex. They took turns blocking it but eventually they were able to suplex Luna.
Luna went to the floor and Lee attempted to dive on her but Luna ducked and Lee crashed to the floor. Luna lifted her for a slam but Brookside came off the ropes and hit a dropkick to drop Luna. Grace got into the melee and grabbed Brookside from behind but Brookside reversed it and threw Grace to the floor. Whilst the heels tried to gather themselves, the Warriors got on the apron and booted the heels, and STRUCK THEIR NEW POSE as we get poised for commercials.
When we come back, Lee reversed a big boot by Luna into a single-leg crab until Grace interrupted the submission. Luna started to pound away on Lee and tagged Grace. Grace hit a vertical suplex. However, Lee got a two count from a roll up as Grace taunted Brookside. Grace hit a seated clothesline for a tow count. Grace grabbed the chin lock.
Lee struggled but got to her feet but Grace cut off her attempt to tag her partner. Luna tagged and tried to keep the tag from happening. Lee kicked her and “Doomsday” flew back to her corner where Grace retagged. However, the heels started to shove each other and argue whist Lee made the tag. Brookside was a flat of fire as she dropped a grace and Luna with a series of clotheslines and then sent Grace into a Luna. Luna got her but was setup for Brookside to hit Luna with a neckbreaker which set forth a DDT in Grace. Brooks hit meteoras on both in opposite corners and hit a Samoan Drop on Grace.
Brookside went for the pin but Luna interrupted. That brought Lee into the fight and dropped Luna with a kick. Grace hit a flying European uppercut on Lee and a Codebreaker on Brookside for a two count. As Grace was ready to climb the turnbuckles, Luna tagged and more miscommunication followed. Luna allowed Grace to climb to the top but shoved her to the floor.
Luna set Brookside for the Luna landing but Lee dropped her with a kick. Brookside went to the top and set the Angels Wings finisher (the assisted Senton) but Grace grabbed Lee’s leg. Lee stomped on Grace and then got on the apron for a rolling senton. However, Grace moved and Lorenzo ate the move. Meanwhile, Brookside leapt to hit a body press on Luna. Luna caught her and hit the Luna Landing for the victory.
Post match: Luna taunted Lee as Grace joined her for a victory pose. however, the two started to bicker once again.
We cut away to the BioFlex Medical Report.Leon Slater is still out with a neck injury after the piledriver two weeks ago from Eric Young. Indi Hartwell, is out after the backstage attack by Grace and Lorenzo injured her knee. Despite the battle last week, both Moose and Alexander are cleared for battle.
Speaking of Slater, here he is and has a mic. He immediately called out Young. Two weeks ago, Young drove his head to the mat with his piledriver and could have ended his career and broke his neck. When Young did that, Slater felt something he never felt prior. It wasn’t pain or fear but it was doubt. For the first time, he doubted he could get up again.
But, he did get up and he is standing 10 toes down in Atlanta and will do the same at Sacrifice. People came to him about his neck being broken and the X-Division being broken but no, fam; the only that will be broken is when his foot when he bounces it off Young’s head. Two weeks ago, Young tried to break his neck but at Sacrifice, he is going to show him why he is unbreakable and why he is the Youngest in Charge, Ya get him?
We go back to the an ounce booth and get some highlights from the Atlanta Street Fight last week between and Moose and Alexander. Next week, it is Moose vs, Bear Bronson. But that is next week, next segment is Moose’s next target in his path.
When we come back, sure enough; it’s Moose (with Alicia Edwards in tow.). The crowd does a very audible “moose” chant as the lights go out and the System make their way to the ring.
Moose vs. Brian Myers
Hannifan noted – unlike last week’s street fight – that the entire System is allowed at ringside. BUT HOLD EVERYTHING, Marella’s music played and he made the official edict that the System is forbidden from ringside and made the exaggerated ejection movement and started the “Na, Na, Na, Hey, Hey Goodbye” chant.
The pre match shenanigans were longer than the match as the bell rang and Myers charged, Moose, hit the Hit the Stick Spear for the win.
Post Match: Moose still sold the limp from last week but he and Alicia celebrated in the ring and the System tired to gather themselves on the railway.
We then cut to the third Deadly Sin montage of Rosemary – Envy. She is waiting by a delivery truck when Allie appeared in a puff of smoke. Allie apologized for being late (Rosemary said “ for a very important date.” get it? Because she was the Bunny…in AEW and, eh, just keep going.) Allie asked if Rosemary brought her change of clothes because she died in this outfit. Rosemary, somewhat exasperated, relented and made the clothes appear from “the realm’s finest seamstress.” That being done, let’s go.
We head to a dark room with Raven seated on a crown of sorts. He summined her with a message about envy but what does he have to be envious? As she wa talking, the bunny flickered next to her.
So what does Raven have to be envious? The answer is…Tommy Dreamer, while his face looks like it was on fire and some in out it out with a rake, his body looks like Lizzo ate Abdullah the Butcher. Rosemary laughed but Allie ebulimedtly introduced herself to Raven.
Raven had a gift for Rosemary. The blood of Deamer from a match in 1995 in Jim Thorpe, PA, full of cholesterol and obesity. Rosemary loved it and Raven said “quote the Raven, never more” as the scene ended with “to be continued.” Yeahhhhh….
We go back to Hannifan and Rehwoldt who run down what is left in the card including Knockouts action…after the break.
We come back to hype for the TNA Rebellion PLE on April 11.
We also comeback backstage to Myers being frustrated about the loss. Edwards assuaged him by saying it’s not about every battle but the war instead. Myers aid Edwards is right and next week Moose has a huge problem because next week it’s Moose vs. Bronson. Bronson grabbed the camera and said next week the Bear is coming for him.
Before the next match, Mara Sade made her way ringside and to the announce booth for the next match.
Elayna Black vs. Jada Stone
Black is out first to a muted response. Hannifan talked to Sade about her match a couple of weeks ago vs. Black in which Black won. Sade said she learned a lot from the match and will come back stronger and kick her butt. Stone is next and her pop is just as reserved. Stone had more fire as she did her acrobatics. Hannifan said he was appreciative of Sade being here since he had Kazarian and Francis earlier at the table and had a rough couple of weeks.
In the ring, Black got behind Stone and threw her to the mat. However, Stone matrix dodged a clothesline and turned it into a headscissors takedown of Stone.stone hit two flying back elbows in the corner and a seated clothesline from a snapmare. A standing moonsault got a two count. However, Stone dodged a charge into the ropes and Stone slumped to the mat. Black got a two count with a running back elbow on Stone in the ropes.
Black put the boots to Stone in the corner. She threw Stone into the corner and met her with a running knee to the head for a two count, Black grabbed a chin lock. Stone escaped it with a snapmare and then dropped Black with a series of running clotheslines. Stone flipped out of a snapmare attempt and then booted Black in the corner. She hit a split-legged moonsault for a two count.
Tasha Steelz headed to ringside and tried to distract Stone. However, Dtone focused on Balck and continued to beat on her. Stone connected with a superkick and then hit the ropes, in front of Steelz, for a handspring move off the ropes. Steelz grabbed her arms and yanked her to the mat. This gave Black time to recover and hit the Blackout (elevated twisting neckbreaker) for the victory.
Post Match: Black headed straight to Sade and the two started to argue until security tried to break the two. They made their way through the crowd. Whilst that was happening, Mustafa Ali made his way to the announce table with the rest of Order Four. They surrounded Stone but International Champion Trey Miguel made his way to the ring with the chair to help. All members of Order Four slowly made their way up the ramp way.
We see the Nemeths and the Righteous navigate the halls and head to the ring for the match next – after the break.
When we return, we see a hype ad for TNA Sacrifice. After that we head backstage to Tessa Blanchard and the Diamond Collective (Victoria Crawford and Mila Moore.) Blanchard said they had the best seat in the house for the match last week between Jody Threat and Grace. The match wasn’t the future of the Knockouts Division but the best they could do without Tessa Blanchard. They can continue to beat in her but the second she decides to go after the title, it is hers.
This brought Threat into the shot flanked by Myla Grace and Harley Hudson. Threat took umbrage with the comment but Blanchard said if you give a kitty enough attention, she’ll think she is a lion. Threat challenged Blanchard to a match next week and now she has backup. Blanchard stared at her and said “piece of cake” before leaving off shot.
Nick and Ryan Nemeth vs. The Righteous
The Nemeths head to the ring first. Miller called Ryan the baby brother on the mic. Rehwoldt took umbrage with that. The slide guitar and snapping can only mean one thing – the Rightoeus are coming (Mitchell did her weird screech of the name again.) Hannifan and Rehwoldt talked about the emerging bond between theRighteous and the Hardys.
Vincent and Nick started the match. Nick got behind Vincent and got two quick rollups for two counts. Vincent rallied by hitting an elbow off the ropes. Nick found himself in the wrong corner and had to scramble to his corner to tag Ryan. Ryan was met with a Vincent neckbreaker and scrambled back to his corner. Nick tagged again but Vincent dropped him with an amrdrag and tagged Dutch.
The Righteous threw Nick into the turnbuckles repeatedly and then Dutch bodyslammed Nick face first. Vincent hit a seated Flatliner for two. Vincent tagged and Dutch threw him into Nick for a back elbow in the corner. Vincent returned the favor and threw a Nick into a flying bodyblock of Dutch. Vincent got a two count after Dutch slammed home on top of Nick (after we get the snap and strut from Vincnet.)
However, when we come back, Nick had the upper hand and worked over Vincent in the corner with extra gyrations. Vincent landed a boot to a charging ick but Nick recovered in time to stop him from making the hot tag. Nick did tag Ryan who continued to maul Vincnet on the mat, also with extra gyrations.
Vincent attempted to sunset flip Ryan but Ryan tagged Nick. Nick broke the pin attempt and applied a sleeper hold on the mat. Vincent tried to rally and got to his feet but an eye raked stopped that. However, Nick’s charge into the corner was met with another Vincent boot. Vincent fought off Ryan in the corner but Nick stopped the tag from happening.
Nick got Vincent on the turnbuckles for a superplex. Vincent countered it with a Tornado DDT. Now, Dutch made the hot tag. A series of shoulder locks dropped the brothers and then hit splashes in the corner on the former champs. He dropped an elbow on Ryan and an Overhead Suplex on Ryan. Dutch ducked a clothesline off the ropes and caught a charging Ryan with Death Walks (Bossman Slam) for a two count until a nick interrupted the pin.
Nick mauled Dutch in the mat and tagged Ryan. However, Dutch no sold a double clothesline and hit a stereo clothesline of his own. Dutch tagged Vincent and hit a flying body press on both Nemeths. He also hit a Russian Legsweep on Ryan and a twisting reverse DDT in Ryan for two.
Vincent grabbed Ryan and Dutch got into position for the Orange Sunshine finisher (a running Dudley bulldog off a Dutch.) However, Nick grabbed Dutch’s leg and dragged him to the floor. Nick also avoided a Dutch charge and Dutch headed into the ring steps. In the ring, Vincent grabbed Nick. Ryan tried to sneak behind him but hit Nick. Vincent rolled up Ryan; but, he kicked out and sent Vincent into the fist of a Nick on the floor. Vincent staggered on the mat and allowed Ryan to hit the Big Hollywood Ending (jumping reverse STO) for the win.
Post match: the Nemeths celebrated up the ramp.
We get the main event interview…after the break.
We get hype for next week’s matches as the walk up for Sacrifice ickding anmatch betptween Jeff Hardy and Brian Myers and the Moose vs. Bronson match.
We have a meeting in a deserted office between MikeSantana and Steve Maclin. Santana is already seated as Maclin entered. They stare at each other for awhile before Maclin ordered two drinks from an attendant. Maclin said Santana invited him here and to say what he wanted to say. Santana pointed at Maclin and said they both said it repeatedly, they know each other better than most. When Santana came back, Maclin was there to help him prove he belonged here.
However, this is a land of sharks it’s the way buskers as is. There is only one spot at the top. But, he looked at Maclin as a brother and knew he had his back. What did he do? He let his pride speak…but Maclin cut him off.
He said the ego problem is Santana’s. Maclin would still speak up for Santana but wanted to tell a story about a man in Afghanistan getting ready for patrol with his platoon but the CO needed a mine sweeper. One guy stepped up to do that – him. He got in his feet and started to sweep. Any step could have been his last. They made it two miles down the road with no Explosions.
The attendant returned with two drinks. Maclin drank his and toasted Santana. Santana looked at it and then him and said Maclin loves his games. Santana always respected Maclin for what he has done. Whilst Maclin was fighting someone else’s war, he was fighting a war within himself. He referenced Naclin’s comments about using his past to get where he is. Santana agreed – his past is his superpower. Maclin made his past his excuse. Where did it get him? He hopes he is ready at Sacrifice because all this drama turmoil he caused better be for something. At Sacrifiecd, when they step in the ring, he better be ready to fight for everything he complained
At the end of the day, when he wins, all this was for nothing. He has to go home, look in the mirror and know he failed and was not the man he said he was. He pulled out some money, gave Maclin his drink and said – you’re welcome for your job.
End scene
Impactful Ruminations
Due to early travel this morning, it is Abridged but here we go.
One: Great interview from both Maclin and Santana.
Two: it would help the storyline considerably if the Righteous got some wins, I think..
Three: Mike Jackson can still go at 76. Wow.
Four: is this leading to a slow face turn by Francis? It would not be the worst idea and hopefully led to a title shot,
Five: I looked at some old reviews and made note in September about AJZ being not just a one off and someone Impact should hold. He is paying off dividends as Mr. Elegance.
Six: This was a great, fluid show. This is was well done. If we keep this consistency, the show can finally make roads as a definite number two organization.
Seven: Nice win by HTM, albeit a banana peel victory. He and aelijah working together is an interesting take.
Lastly: Who would be envious of Tommy Dreamer?
.
