AAA Heroes Imortales Night Two – 10.31.26

Let’s read about wrestling because that’s what the cool people do. Raw | NXT | Evolve | Smackdown | NXT Halloween Havoc

Last week on AAA’s Heroes Imortales Night One: El Grande Americano retained his Mega Championship in very controversial fashion when he defeated challenger Dominik Mysterio.

AAA’s Heroes Imortales Night Two comes to Youtube from Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera in Mexico City, Mexico. The American announcing team for tonight’s show consists of Corey Graves, AAA GM and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, and WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield on match calls and analysis, and AAA’s Jesus Zuniga will handle the ring introductions. There are three huge matches on tonight’s card, so let’s watch some lucha!

Entrances: AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix, AAA Tag Team Champions Los Wagner Brothers, and Los Psycho Circus.

Here’s AAA Mixed Tag Champion Laredo Kid out to call for silence while he speaks. Laredo calls himself the King of the Cruiserweight division and says he’s here for wrestlers who break very easily. Laredo says he doesn’t need anything given to him, he’s going to take what he wants and it’s the Cruiserweight title. Laredo threatens Fenix and says he doesn’t need a little brother to help him make it. Laredo says he can’t be stopped, and here’s Jack Cartwheel out to nail Laredo with a missile dropkick. Cartwheel says it’s his time to be the Cruiserweight champion and here’s Takuma out to drop Cartwheel out to the floor. Takuma, who speaks very solid Spanish, says he wants the title as well. Laredo and Cartwheel come back into play and they start beating on each other. Here’s Rey Fenix out with his belt and a mic. Fenix says Laredo may have more years in the business than him but Fenix is still Laredo’s daddy. Fenix says it will be a four-way for the title and leaves.

Here’s Psycho Clown coming into a dressing room where Pagano is sitting. Pagano threatens Psycho and El Carnicero looms up behind Psycho before slamming his head into a wall repeatedly. Carnicero leaves Psycho lying.

AAA Tag Team Championship: Los Wagner Brothers (Galeno and El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr.) (C) vs Los Vipers (Taurus and Histeria)

DW3’s Dia de los Muertos-themed mask is top notch. Histeria lifts a knee but DW3 shakes it off and trucks Histeria around before covering and getting two. Galeno tags in and he and DW3 combine on a deadlift slam as Galeno’s cover gets two. Galeno crushes Histeria with a right and DW3 tags back in. Taurus grabs a blind tag and saves Histeria from an overhead suplex. DW3 smashes Histeria off the apron and walks into a Taurus lariat that gets two. Taurus hits a senton and gets two. Histeria tags back in and puts up a double boot as Taurus whips DW3 into him. Histeria hits some low strikes and covers DW3 for two.

Taurus tags in and they combine on a lungblower as Taurus grabs a cover on DW3 for two. Taurus works a rear chinlock until DW3 elbows his way out of it. DW3 hits a flying forearm after some rope running and kicks Taurus away to make the tag to Galeno. Galeno mashes Los Vipers around and crushes them in corners. Galeno scoop-slams Histeria and then runs the ropes for a huge splash that gets two as Taurus breaks up the cover. Histeria gets caught by Galeno who then dumps a charging Taurus to the floor. DW3 hits a tope con giro on Taurus and Galeno finally drops Histeria with an overhead suplex. DW3 tags in and follows with the Wagner Driver. Galeno tags in for the frog splash on Histeria and that ends things.

Los Vipers were game here but this was essentially an extended squash for the Wagners. I suspect we’ll get a new feud for them here at some point but with Los Perros tied up in the trios world, it remains to be seen who might step up to the Wagners. This was fun but you didn’t miss much if you didn’t see it.  2.5*

Winners AND STILL AAA Tag Team Champions – Los Wagner Brothers (Galeno frog splash on Histeria)

Los Psycho Circus (Dave the Clown and Murder Clown) vs Pagano and El Carnicero

Pagano has to slap the shit out of Carnicero to get him to the apron so this can start. Pagano pounds away on Murder before Murder fires up with a lariat. Murder hits a body slam and Dave tags in. Dave drops and elbow and fires off some knees. Dave hits a side slam and covers Pagano for two. Pagano hits a big elbow and some chops before firing off some rights on Murder. Pagano nails Dave with a rolling neckbreaker and covers for two. Carnicero tags in and goes to work on Dave with rights and lefts in a corner. Carnicero fires off a lariat and misses an elbow drop. Murder tags in and they run into Carnicero lariats that drop both clowns.

Carnicero tags in after a break and Pagano wants to come back in. He and Carnicero bicker briefly before Carnicero exits. Murder hoists Pagano into a Samoan Drop and tags in Dave as Carnicero comes back in. Carnicero hits a flying forearm and goes to fight Murder as Pagano mashes Dave along the ropes. Murder and Dave get the drop on Carnicero briefly and Murder ascends for a splash that gets two. Dave tags in and Murder gets dumped by Pagano off a charge. Carnicero yanks Dave into a Sidewalk Slam and that ends things.

It is not going well for Los Psycho Circus lately. Dave and Murder were game here and I’m always up for some clown violence, but Pagano and Carnicero, while not being a well-oiled machine, were just WAY too much for them. This was fine for what it was and the post-match added to the Clowns woes, as you’ll see.  2.5*

Winners – Pagano/Carnicero (Carnicero sidewalk slam on Dave)

Post-match sees Pagano order more violence from Carnicero but here’s Psycho Clown limping out with a kendo stick. Psycho runs wild for a bit but walks into a high boot from Carnicero. Pagano yanks Psycho up for a Psycho Driver and poses over top of him.

AAA Cruiserweight Championship Fatal Four-way: Rey Fenix (C) vs Takuma vs Jack Cartwheel vs AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion Laredo Kid

Laredo drops Cartwheel and Takuma at the bell and squares off with Fenix. Fenix gets caught by a Cartwheel roll up that gets two. Takuma stands off with Fenix and gets trucked down, so he rises to try it again. Takuma snaps off an armdrag and follows with a tornado DDT that gets two. Fenix gets dumped with Cartwheel and Laredo charging back in. Laredo slaps Cartwheel in a corner and puts a boot on his chin. Takuma gets dumped and Laredo follows by sending Fenix back to the floor. Cartwheel tries to stand and exchange with Laredo and that doesn’t go well. Laredo hits an inverted Michinoku Driver on Cartwheel and then dumps Takuma on top of him. Laredo crushes both guys with a 450 and Fenix breaks up the cover at two.

Laredo gets dumped as does Takuma, and Cartwheel’s rana gets a quick two on Fenix. Cartwheel hits a rolling slam on Fenix and then crushes Takuma and Laredo with a tope suicida. Cartwheel dumps Fenix down and crushes him with a rope-assisted elbow drop that gets two. Cartwheel lines Fenix up but leaps on his shoulders. Fenix plants Cartwheel just as Takuma and Laredo return. Fenix fires off a springboard cutter and then sends Laredo to the floor for a tope. Fenix runs Laredo back in and crushes him with a leaping kick in a corner. Fenix wants the MMB but Laredo prevents it. Fenix boots Laredo in the head and ascends for a tornillo on Takuma and Carthweel. Fenix charges into a Destroyer DDT from Laredo and his cover gets two. Laredo hits a frog splash and Takuma breaks up the cover at two.

Cartwheel and Takuma square up and Takuma wins the skirmish with a backstabber that gets two. Takuma ascends and gets caught by a headscissors takedown by Cartwheel. Cartwheel nails Takuma with a poison rana and gets a LONG two. Cartwheel ascends for a move that misses, and everyone comes in for big moves. Fenix yanks Carthweel into an Angels Wings suplex that gets two. Fenix drags Cartwheel back up and Takuma flies in with a crucifix driver to send Fenix to the floor. Laredo and Takuma square off and Takuma drops him with a big kick and a top rope rana. Takuma nails Fenix with a springboard moonsault that almost goes horribly wrong. Cartwheel ascends for a Sky Twister press and covers Laredo for two with Takuma breaking up the cover. Fenix breaks up Takuma’s cover with a swanton and kicks Cartwheel and Laredo out of the ring.

Fenix hits a frog splash on Takuma and covers him for two. Laredo wanders over and gets caught by Fenix. Cartwheel drops Fenix with a German and Cartwheel follows with a Sasuke special to the floor on Laredo. Takuma springs up and ascends, but Fenix catches him with a kick and some chops. Fenix pulls Takuma into the Mexican Muscle Buster and retains the title.

Another crazy four-way for Fenix who continues his rampage across every WWE brand while defending this title. I really have come to enjoy Takuma and Cartwheel, and Laredo’s brand of skullduggery is usually fun. Fenix moves on to see who will step up next, and the rest presumably will linger around for another chance at this title. Match of the night tonight for me.  3.25*

Winner AND STILL AAA Cruiserweight Champion – Rey Fenix (MMB on Takuma)

Post-match sees Dorian Roldan asking an unnamed person on his phone if they’ll have an answer for him next week. He’s assured that will happen and hangs up. Credits, names, we’re out.

A solid Night Two without the major consequences of Night One’s title extravaganzas. Everything was okay here but the promotion needs another bit of juicing because the Carnicero thing is kind of treading water at the moment as he and Pagano continue to wreck the Clowns, while the main titles feel a little stagnant. I think there’s a referendum coming on Rey Mysterio’s GM job next week but we’ll see what happens. A fine show but nothing too major to worry about if you need to catch it later this week.

Thanks for reading. Enjoy your Sunday.
