AAA Heroes Imortales – Night One – 10.24.26

By Niz on 25 October 2026

The WWE’s content machine never sleeps, friends. Raw | NXT | Evolve | Impact | Smackdown

AAA’s Heroes Imortales Night One comes to Youtube from Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera in Mexico City, Mexico. The American announcing team for tonight’s show consists of Corey Graves, AAA GM and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, and John Bradshaw Layfield on match calls and analysis, and AAA’s Jesus Zuniga will handle the ring introductions. There are three huge title matches on tonight’s card, so let’s watch some lucha!

Here’s a long look at heroes past and present (including, I think, Alberto del Rio, briefly) as the show kicks off.

Arrivals: AAA Reina de Reinas Champion La Catalina, Las Toxicas, and El Ojo. Here’s a smiling AAA Mega Champion El Grande Americano making his way in, as well.

AAA Trios Championship: Los Perros del Mal (Daga, Angel, and Berto) (C) vs Mr. Iguana, AAA Latin American Champion La Parka, and Nino Hamberguesa

Karmen Petrovic is with Los Perros, as always. The technicos attack prior to the bell and everyone starts fighting. Berto and Hamberguesa slug it out mid-ring and Hamberguesa nails Berto with a couple of corner splashes. Hamberguesa flirts with Petrovic before mashing Berto with a cannonball. Iguana tags in and Berto fires up briefly. Iguana snaps off a DDT and a crucifix bomb that gets two. Berto trucks Iguana and tags in Angel who goes to ground and pound. Angel yanks Iguana’s gear open and fires off some chops. Iguana tries a right but immediately gets blasted by Angel before Daga tags in. Daga rams Iguana into a corner for some right hands and kicks. Daga yanks Iguana over with a vertical suplex and covers him for two.

Daga calls in La Parka as Berto and Angel run roughshod over Iguana on the floor. Daga tosses Iguana back in and covers him for two. Berto stomps away on Iguana before pounding on his chest along the ropes. Berto covers Iguana for get two and Angel tags in. Los Perros attack en masse and Daga covers Iguana for two. Daga puts the badmouth on Iguana and Angel tags in for headbutts and forearms to the face. Petrovic rips at Iguana’s eyes as Angel ties up Tirantes for some chatter. Berto tags in and slaps on a half crab before Iguana rolls it over and kicks out of it. Daga flies in to drop Parka and Hamberguesa from the apron before continuing the assault on Iguana. Daga misses a charge and Iguana dumps a charging Berto. Iguana rolls over to tag in Parka as Angel tags in as well. Parka runs wild and nails Angel with a quebradora backbreaker. Daga breaks up the cover at two.

Iguana has recovered and misses a dive off the apron. Hamberguesa smashes Berto but as he goes to flirt with Petrovic he gets mashed by an Angel dropkick. Parka nails Angel and Berto with a tope con hiro. Daga tags in and Petrovic distracts Tirantes. Daga goes low on Parka and covers him for three.

This was some wild agenting because Iguana took quite the asskicking here before the small comeback happened. Ultimately, this was kind of a long-form squash because the technicos never really had control at any point during the match. Los Perros retain, and we’ll see where this leads them.  2.5*

Winners AND STILL AAA Trios Champions – Los Perros del Mal (Daga low-blow on La Parka)

Post-match sees Los Perros continue to assault Iguana before they go after Hamberguesa on the floor. Petrovic slaps Hamberguesa repeatedly and here’s Big Mami making a return! Mami mashes Petrovic around before climbing into the ring. Mami shoves Petrovic down and yanks her up for a slam. Mami slams Petrovic again and splashes her in a corner. Petrovic slumps to the ground and gets yanked out by Daga before further damage can occur. Los Perros retreat up the ramp.

Here’s a quick look at how we got to the current Reina de Reinas championship situation. Rey Mysterio took the COWARDS WAY OUT and made this a triple threat. Here’s Las Toxicas in the locker room with Lady Maravilla trying to keep La Hiedra and Flammer on task.

AAA Reina de Reinas Championship: La Catalina (C) vs Flammer vs AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion La Hiedra

Flammer and Hiedra have a lot of verbals before and during Catalina’s entrance. Maravilla remains at ringside as Catalina ducks a charge from both Hiedra and Flammer. They team up to slam Catalina down and drag her to a corner for a crash into the ring post. Flammer and Hiedra clubber away before Catalina smashes them together. Catalina flips both challengers over and mashes them with lariats. Flammer gets dumped and Catalina pulls Hiedra over with a vertical suplex. Catalina ascends and Flammer rises up to prevent further damage. Hiedra dumps Catalina to the mat where she’s immediately crushed by a Flammer meteora. Hiedra smashes Catalina with a rear elbow and yanks her up for a Doomsday Device from Flammer. Catalina fires up briefly but Hiedra and Flammer continue to smash her in a corner. Hiedra runs into a high boot and Catalina dumps her and Flammer to the floor. Catalina ascends for a cross-body to the floor and runs Hiedra back in. Catalina slips a charge and rams Hiedra’s head into a turnbuckle before ascending for another cross-body on Hiedra that gets two.

Catalina hits a shotgun dropkick on Flammer and drops Hiedra with a sling blade. Catalina yanks Flammer into a Gory Bomb on Hiedra and covers both in succession for two. Catalina mashes Hiedra in a corner and dumps her before nailing Flammer with a knee. Flammer runs Hiedra off the apron and Catalina walks into a Flammer Codebreaker. Flammer waffles Catalina with a running shotgun dropkick but Hiedra prevents the cover and goes nose to nose with Flammer. Maravilla grabs the title belt and hands it to Hiedra who almost mashes Flammer with it when Catalina ducks. Catalina dropkicks Flammer into Hiedra who tumbles out, and Catalina follows with a Baisaku knee on Flammer to end things as she retains her title.

Graves kind of spoiled this finish on commentary early in the match when he and Mysterio discussed what would happen if either of Las Toxicas went for a cover. All in all, this was what you’d expect from a match like this with two heel stablemates fighting to capture a championship from a babyface. Nothing functionally wrong with this one overall, but it didn’t have a ton of heat until the finishing sequence.  3*

Winner AND STILL AAA Reina de Reinas Champion – La Catalina (Baisaku knee on Flammer)

Post-match sees Las Toxicas continue bickering with each other as Catalina makes fun of them.

Here’s an injured Mini-Vikingo with AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix. Vikingo claims that because of his elbow injury sustained at NXT that he’ll now need surgery, and Fenix promises him that he’ll do whatever it takes to keep his title to give Vikingo his earned title shot. Fenix mentions now having an open challenge for Heroes Imortales and wonders who will step up.

Mario Achi, who is the official mascot of the Mexican F1 race is in the crowd. Also in the crowd: Pimpinela Escarlata who gets a tremendous pop.

Here’s a look at the Mega Championship build-up including Rey Mysterio counting the fall when El Grande Americano captured the title.

AAA Mega Championship: El Grande Americano (C) vs Dominik Mysterio

Dorian Roldan is out with Mysterio, but there’s no sign of Omos just yet. JBL likens Dorian Roldan to Ernie Roth in the most timely reference he could apparently come up with. Roldan sneaks in with a chairshot on EGA before the bell even sounds, and Mysterio nails EGA with a 619 that gets two. Mysterio goes to ground and pound and yanks EGA for more violence. EGA fires up with some rights but Mysterio cuts it off with a dropkick that gets two. Mysterio bullies EGA over the second rope and yanks him up for some corner violence. Mysterio rams EGA’s head into some turnbuckles but EGA puts the brakes on and starts firing off some forearms. EGA then starts ramming Mysterio into turnbuckles. EGA nails Mysterio with a lariat and gets two.

EGA barks at Roldan and yanks Mysterio up. Mysterio slips down and eats a big right from EGA in a corner. EGA drops a bunch of rights onto Mysterio’s head and here’s Omos out from the back finally. The distraction gives Mysterio the chance to take over and crotch EGA over the top rope. Mysterio dropkicks EGA to the floor and high fives a cackling Omos. Mysterio pounds away along the barricade and rams EGA over the announce table. Mysterio stands on the table to a chorus of boos before dropping a double sledge on EGA’s neck. Mysterio runs EGA back in and pulls his arms back while jamming a knee into EGA’s back. EGA fires off some elbows but gets yanked down by his mask before Mysterio covers for two.

Mysterio chokes EGA with his waist-shirt and whips EGA on the back with it. Mysterio continues pounding away but EGA starts hulking up with some rights. EGA mashes Mysterio down with a lariat before nailing him with a running enziguri. EGA hits an Air Raid Crash and covers Mysterio for two. They slug it out from their knees before rising to continue. Mysterio gets dumped face-first and EGA slaps on La Cavernaria. Mysterio rolls out of it and covers EGA for two. Mysterio misses a 619 and eats a huge kick from EGA. EGA gets dropped by a Mysterio DDT on the apron and Mysterio rolls EGA back in. Mysterio tries a frog splash and meets EGA’s knees. EGA fires off a chest kick and then hits a rope-assisted Blockbuster. EGA gets yanked down by Omos who then draws the ire of Pimpi. Omos goozles Pimpi and drags them over the top rope. EGA flies in to rescue Pimpi and Roldan gets dropped by an EGA headbutt. EGA fires off a headbutt on Mysterio and Omos yanks the referee out as he counted two.

Omos blasts EGA with a huge right hand when he emerges from the ring, and Omos yanks up the referee. Here’s Rey Mysterio coming in to start beating on Omos with a chair. Rey then nails Dom with a chairshot, and another EGA headbutt leads to a three count and EGA retains!

Well, they overbooked the hell out of this, but what a spectacle it turned into by the end. I would assume there will be major consequences for Rey after this but for now, EGA retains and everyone goes home happy.  3.5*

Winner AND STILL AAA Mega Champion – El Grande Americano (headbutt)

Post-match sees El Ojo gather on the floor while a concerned Rey Mysterio looks on from the opposite side of the ring. EGA celebrates and we’re out as the credits roll.

That was quite a show, but after the sea-change that was Triplemania, some consistency for title holders was the story of the day. All three sets of champions retained and so we’ll see if anything happens with the Cruiserweight or tag titles on the next few shows. A fun night overall!

Thanks for reading and commenting. Enjoy your Sunday!
