Cody Rhodes Addresses WrestleMania 42 Injuries

Cody Rhodes says he recovered quickly from the injuries he suffered at WrestleMania 42 and believes it proves he is “built different.” Speaking with ESPN, Rhodes reflected on the aftermath of his Undisputed WWE Championship defence against Randy Orton, which ended with Orton leaving him battered during a post-match assault. Rhodes revealed he dealt with a swollen eye, staples in the back of his head and stitches in the front of his head, but still returned to wrestle the following week. Cody said he was proud of how quickly he bounced back and claimed Orton “gave me his best shot,” but could not keep him sidelined.

Vince McMahon And Nick Khan Sanctioned By Judge In WWE Merger Lawsuit

New court details ahead of the WWE shareholder trial have revealed allegations involving deleted Signal messages tied to Vince McMahon and Nick Khan during the company’s merger process with UFC to form TKO Group Holdings. A judge has now ruled that several disputed facts will be presumed against McMahon and Khan unless they can disprove them with clear and convincing evidence. The filing also references a voice memo from Ari Emanuel and a cryptic “Langis” text exchange between McMahon and Khan, linked to Signal.

Kota Ibushi Makes Surprise Appearance At Japanese Wrestling Show

Kota Ibushi made a surprise appearance at a Super Japan Pro Wrestling event on May 27 in Tokyo despite still recovering from a broken femur suffered last year. The injured AEW star appeared following a tag team match involving CIMA and Yuji Nagata, sharing a brief moment backstage with Sanshiro Takagi before leaving the arena. Ibushi has been sidelined since October 2025 and reportedly faces a lengthy recovery timeline after undergoing two surgeries.

Territorial Star ‘Golden Boy’ Jerry Grey Dies At 62 After Battle With Cancer

Veteran territory wrestler Jerry Grey, also known as “Golden Boy,” has died following a battle with cancer at the age of 62. The news was announced by the Cauliflower Alley Club. Grey competed across numerous wrestling territories during the 1980s under names including Guru, Mega Maharishi and Mighty Yankee #1, working for promotions such as Georgia Championship Wrestling, Mid-South Wrestling and Jim Crockett Promotions. He also toured Japan and made appearances for WWE as an enhancement talent. Grey found much of his success in tag team wrestling, notably teaming with Tom Prichard and Bob Cook. Following the news, Cook paid tribute to his longtime partner, calling Grey a brother and thanking him for the memories they shared together.
