Evening Daily News Update – October 22, 2026

Good evening doomers, and welcome to your Evening Daily News Update for Thursday, October 22nd, 2026. We’re still a sleep away from the start of the World Series, so we’ll enjoy more NBA action in tonight’s double header on ESPN, starting with Cleveland visiting Philadelphia at 7pm (ET), followed by OKC hosting Denver a 9:30. Some might enjoy TNA Impact, WWE Main Event I believe has moved days and will be taken out of the rotation along with ROH Honor Club and JCW Lunacy (Bring Back Russo).

Phred reminds us that WWE Evolve is still a thing, and apparently is taped into 2027, so no fear in losing that, Kat’s latest NXT 2.0 Rewind covers the episode from November 30th, 2021.

TNA Impact Preview:
Tonight, Jason Hotch defends the International Championship against Mustafa Ali in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match. In a Loser Puts Away the Steel Chairs Match, Avery Styles battles Joe Alonzo (stipulation may not be honored), Rich Swann, K.C. Navarro, Cedric Alexander and Fabian Aichner compete for a shot at the X Division Title, and we’ll also get appearances from Daria Rae, Allie and Kiera Hogan.

In spring 2006, The Great Khali arrived, towering over The Undertaker and dominating The Deadman in a way no one ever had. Watch Khali’s first year in WWE with rivalries against the likes of Undertaker, Kane and John Cena, culminating in being crowned World Heavyweight Champion.
