Roman Reigns Accepts Jacob Fatu’s Tribal Combat Challenge
Roman Reigns has officially accepted Jacob Fatu’s challenge for a Tribal Combat match following a chaotic opening segment on WWE Raw. The confrontation began with Fatu attacking Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso, and Reigns joined the fight, leaving Fatu lying out. However, Fatu grabbed a microphone afterwards and challenged Reigns to Tribal Combat, with Reigns later accepting while standing on the stage holding the World Heavyweight Championship. The stipulation means there will be no disqualifications or count-outs, with the loser forced to acknowledge the winner as the family’s Tribal Chief.
Sol Ruca Lands Major WWE Opportunity Amid Losing Streak
Sol Ruca is set to face Becky Lynch in a non-title match at Saturday Night’s Main Event following a confrontation on WWE Raw. Ruca challenged Lynch after being mocked over her 0-2 start on the Raw roster since debuting after WrestleMania 42. Ruca had initially hinted at a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match, but Lynch rejected the idea, claiming Ruca had not earned a title opportunity yet.
Mark Shapiro Concedes WrestleMania In Las Vegas May Have Been A ‘Mistake’
Mark Shapiro has admitted that bringing WrestleMania 42 back to Las Vegas for a second straight year may have been a mistake, given weaker ticket sales than in 2025. Speaking with Yahoo! Finance, the TKO President revealed that he personally pushed for WWE to return to Las Vegas rather than hold WrestleMania in New Orleans as originally planned. Shapiro said the success of WrestleMania 41 convinced him and Nick Khan to run the city again, but acknowledged the company lost the “first mover experience” advantage the second time around. Despite the softer business, Shapiro said he still has “absolutely no regrets” about the decision.
The Bella Twins Have Been Trying To Bring Back ‘Total Divas’ For Years
Nikki Bella has revealed that discussions about bringing back Total Divas have been ongoing for years, and said she and Brie Bella would be ready to return immediately if asked. Speaking on the Battleground podcast, Nikki said the twins believe now is the perfect time for a revival because of the current momentum surrounding WWE’s women’s division.
The original reality series aired from 2013 to 2019 and is widely credited with helping raise the profile of WWE’s women’s roster during the early Women’s Evolution era. Nikki added that the show gave female talent a major platform both inside and outside the ring. While no network or streaming partner has been confirmed, a reboot could fit into WWE’s expanding reality television plans under TKO.
