WWE Evolve November 4th 2026
By Phrederic on 5 November 2026
Spooky season has ended but Evolve still has more than a few ghosts! We have a title match fourway main-event as Evolve women’s champion Nikkita Lyons defends against prior opponents Thea Hail, Skylar Raye, and Wendy Choo. We also have Alix Brooks taking on Laynie Luck and Shido Ash taking on Chazz “Starboy” Hall! Feel the excitement! But before we get to that, check out what happened in the greater WWE sphere.
Impact – Smackdown – Halloween Havoc – AAA Heroes Imortales Night Two – Raw – NXT
No pre-credits scene and we get SMOKE! FIRE! POSING! STRIKES! It’s Evolve!
And now we get Blake Howard and Robert Stone running down the card but that’s quick and it’s to the VIP Section where Adrianna Rizzo is interviewing Charles Dempsey who is here to scout his competition and wants to wrestle the best of the best. He’s already faced Ulka Sasaki, so next is CJ Valor. That’s very nice of Charlie to say.
CJ Valor vs. Ulka Sasaki
Background: So CJ Valor has of course not been retained by WWE, but we exist in the phantom zone. CJ is out solo and he’s sorta more babyface here dapping up fans, CJ is an amateur guy turned indie pro and he’s short and bulky and is the enforcer of the Mog Squad (which may not exist?). Ulka Sasaki is from NOAH on an excursion and is a former UFC guy and a pretty respectable MMA guy, he’s a slight pretty boy with shaggy hair and a muscle-tee with baggy black pants. Ulka hasn’t won much but he did have one of the “Charlie Dempsey wrestles some notable outsider to a very non-WWE style technical match” bouts that I think our very own Jabroniville reviewed.
The Match: Both dance around before a lockup and a technical exchange before Sasaki cranks in a wristlock but CJ muscles out and Ulka stays on it but CJ forces Sasaki in the ropes and gets a cheapshot and a break and then they got to the mat for some counters before Ulka gets a flash juji-gatame that CJ instantly breaks. Back to their feet and CJ cranks in a headlock and now we get an international with Ulka doing a pretty unique “kip-up to a seated position to give the back” and when CJ goes for it Ulka counters and then gets a series of armdrags. Pretty slick! Ulka tries a floatover out of the corner but CJ shows up shorts and lands a series of shots and a takedown into some ground and pound for 2. A rebound off the ropes sets up a CJ lariat for another cover and Ulka is in the corner and then tries to strike out but is driven back, tossed down and stomped out before the ref (Katie Reynolds!) forces the break. CJ still tosses Ulka around and Sasaki tries some strikes but actually gets somewhere with a slick hip-toss counter and then clotheslines CJ outside…and now we get the Mog Squad out to support CJ and we go to a break. We’re back with a CJ sitout driver for 2.5 Hard whip from CJ and another has Ulka flipping and flopping around before Valor cranks in a chinlock and Dempsey seems to disapprove. Ulka slips out and gets some kicks and then a Shining Wizard drops CJ and then a tornado roundhouse gets 2.8. Sasaki then slips into a sleeper but when CJ slips out he sets up a Chaos Theory for 2.9. CJ tries his Valor Spike (pop-up spinebuster) but Ulka gets a superman punch and then gets a sleeper and keeps it on after a roll-through but CJ elbows out but walks into a Sasaki small-package for 2.8. Mog Squad provide a ton of distraction a second Valor Spike gets 3.

So Ulka might be a better worker than I figured. Perhaps being the rookie in NOAH made me view him differently, but he sold well, kept his “OUTTA NOWHERE” thing up through the match, and moved the normally eh CJ into something pretty interesting. Pretty solid stuff even if it’s sorta all for naught.
Post-match the Mog Squad stared down an unimpressed Dempsey who gets up and asks who it’ll be and Mog Squad retreat.
Backstage and Evolve women’s champion Nikkita Lyons and Sloane Jacobs are here and Lyons tells an apologetic Sloane she needs to shape up cause Jacobs big mouth put Nikkita in a fourway. Jacobs is all sniveling and sorry and Nikkita dismisses her and asks for some meditation.
Alix Brooks w/ Kale Dixon vs. Laynie Luck
Background: Alix Brooks has been Kale Dixon’s second in their generic pretty heel gimmick. They’ve been messing with Aaron Rourke recently so Rourke recruited fellow indie stalwart Luck to get her revenge. Alix is in blonde pigtails and black gear and Laynie has red hair and dark blue gear.
The Match: Alix does some…if I can be generous and say Eva Marie mannerisms as she big-leagues Laynie and Luck takes her down and gets a rollup for 2. Armdrag and a corner charge from Laynie before a suplex and an inside-out trip, but Kale trips Laynie up and blocks a springboard…in full view of the referee. And as commentary blasts that for not being a DQ Aaron Rourke runs out and bludgeons Kale and now we have a DQ.
N/R
Alix did NOT look good in her 30 seconds of ring-time.
Post-match Rourke calls them out for Evolve’s first ever mixed tag match. Clock that!
We get a view of Richard Adonis who is the new WWE ID prospect and he looks like if Sammy Guevara had a Cure fan gimmick.
We get Thea Hail, Wendy Choo, and Skylar Raye all warming up in the locker room. Choo is grateful to have another shot. Skylar says that Sloane’s interference won’t matter cause it’s 3v2. Thea says that there are no teams and she’s gonna walk out with the title. Choo says that what matters is that Nikkita loses and she’s okay with any of them winning and there seems to be agreement. Luckily the chances of three faces vs. one heel in a mixed match have absolute 100% success rates for faces!
Shido Ash vs. Chazz “Starboy” Hall
Background: Shido is a Judo Jerk whose tag partner is out of commission right now and he’s running around hurting people cause he was a Security Jerk. He beat up flippy hippy Starboy who is currently doing a sort of awkward friendship angle with Cappuccino Jones. Pre-match Cap talks to Starboy who is apparently hungry (??) but Jones says that if you watch the armbars and shoulder throws you’ll be fine and if Chazz unleashes the Denim Dragon it’s all good. Shido has obnoxious tattoos and is out in a gi and Starboy has a red baseball cap and denim overalls. It’s speed vs. submissions here.
The Match: Chazz with a few thigh kicks but Shido grabs one kick too many, tosses him around and then tries to smother him in the corner but Hall is too slippery and styles a bit and this irks Ash and Starboy powders, Ash follows but can’t catch him and Starboy gets a fancy handspring and a spin kick…but gets caught on a baseball slide and tossed to the floor and then its back inside and Shido elbows him around and gets a pop-up hip throw that looks brutal, good gravy. Shido is sucking wind here as he paintbrushes Hall who fires back and gets Shido down and sets up a standing SSP…but lands into a Shido triangle choke. Chazz jackknife pins to break but Shido lariats him and then a double-arm crank and then tries to send Hall into the buckle…but Starboy blocks and gets a jump kick and more strikes. Chazz turns a whip into a headscissors takedown and then a standing corkscrew moonsault for 2. Chazz takes down the straps but can’t land Sliced Bread…but settles for a flying boot to knock Shido down and Chazz goes up. Viktor Zanov runs out to break that up (even though he’s supposed to be in Austria! That fiend!) and Cap follows to fight Zanov off, but this trips up Chazz on the top who hesitates and whiffs on the SSP and it’s Shido with Fade To Ash (spinning olympic slam) for 3.
**¼
Shido has something but needs reps as his cardio is not there yet, Chazz is who he is, which is fine. Not bad, no problems really. Pretty tight finish as they play up that Chazz/Cap miscommunication thing and that Shido and Viktor are good partners. Totally fine!
Post-match Viktor and Shido pose in the ring.
THE FOREMAN Timothy Thatcher has an update on Evolve champ Harlem Lewis but before he can make it Harley Riggins shows up and says that if Harlem can’t defend it, he should be stripped. Thatcher tells Harley to back off and they do some macho posturing before Riggins says that Thatcher letting Harlem be an absentee champion is bogus. Thatcher agrees and says that next week Harlem will let us know what’s up, and if he’s not healthy we move from there.
Nikkita Lyons (c) w/ Sloane Jacobs vs. Wendy Choo vs. Thea Hail vs. Skylar Raye
Background: So all of these women have faced Nikkita in title matches with Choo as the former champ that Lyons beat. It’s three faces against one heel but Lyons has a stooge in Sloane. Wendy is in black with purple and gold stripes, Thea is in black and red with fishnets, and Skylar Raye has the white and blue of a Cowboys cheerleader and I just hate her on random principle, dunno why.
The Match: Pre-match Sloane runs down all of the challengers and does her over the top introduction for Nikkita. After a lot of pomp and/or circumstance we finally start with Nikkita big-leaguing everybody and getting beat up which is the default in this match design I think. Lyons gets tossed, Thea tosses Wendy, and then Skylar gets a schoolgirl on Hail and then La Mistica (La Mistica! La Mistica!) but Sloane breaks it up…but Anya Rune then arrives to throw an energy beam (yes…I uh…wrote that) and Jacobs falls to the floor and they brawl to the back and now Lyons returns to the match and we go to a break. We’re back and Lyons snatches a Hail crossbody for a slam and some ground and pound for 2. Skylar takes the champ outside but her cazadora is turned into an apron German as Lyons is running wild. Back in and now Wendy and Lyons crap and fight over a suplex and Nikkita gets a hook kick and then a sitout powerbomb for 2…but Skylar Raye shows up with a missile dropkick to send Lyons flying outside, Thea starts to scrap but Skylar gets a tornado DDT/headscissors combo to drop both faces and then Raye gets Overdrive (Moonlight Drive) but Nikkita is in again and tries for another powerbomb that Skylar is too agile for and gets a whacky flying headscissors takedown for a cover and then goes up…but Thea cuts Raye but falls victim to a diving crossbody that Hail converts to a Kimura. Skylar escapes, Wendy shows up and eats a headbutt, and Thea gets a pedigree on Lyons (trying to keep your job, eh?) but it only gets 2.5 as Skylar and Wendy break the pin. Everybody slugs it out and Lyons gets dropped again but the faces all do some counters before Choo fires up with some corner offense and then Wendy drops Nikkita with a Snooze Button (full-nelson slam) but Skylar tosses the others and goes for the pin herself for 2.8. More chaos before we get Wendy trying the Dirt Nap (bodyscissors cobra clutch) on Thea who slips out, gets a falling slam, rolling senton, and then springboard back splash…but dives into Wendy’s Dirt Nap but before Thea submits Raye flies in with a Starstruck (frog splash) to break it up. And then Nikkita gets a Vader Bomb on all of them…and now Choo snatches Nikkita for the Dirt Nap and she’s dead to rights, but the video feed gets wonky and now it’s Vanta the Unknown appearing OUTTA NOWHERE and the hold is broken. Vanta gets her sneaky kicks on Wendy to subdue her and Lyons gets the dirty pin to retain.
**½
So pretty energetic despite my problems with the format of these matches. They hit the notes fine, I wish Thea could have been more heelish, but they clearly think a lot of Skylar who got a ton of shine. Lyons is both a sort of blustering coward and a butt-kicking powerhouse and she’s sorta making it work? Wendy is obviously talented but alas, another ghost. No issues with a Vanta feud I guess and so much of commentary playing up that you can interfere but that Sloane was taken out is good stuff.
Well…this was a show of all-time. I do like enough Evolve acts to keep being interested I’ll say, if that matters. Sorry about the lateness but I had silly job stuff. Anyway next week we got Harlem Lewis for an in-ring promo about his health and we’re getting Anya Rune vs. Sloane Jacobs in a “who is next for Nikkita” match.
As always thanks for reading and keep on evolving my Evolvemaniacs.
