Smackdown Review – 04.24.26

By Niz on 25 April 2026

We’ve been writing! Wrestlemania Saturday | Wrestlemania Sunday | Raw | NXT | Evolve | Impact | Hulk Hogan: Real American Part One | Hulk Hogan: Real American Part Two

The ROAD TO WRESTLEMANIA has ended with two immense evenings of advertising! There was also some wrestling scattered about, but the ADVERTISING! Okay, I’m being hyperbolic, and I can honestly say that I enjoyed Sunday’s card from start to finish. I thought that the CM Punk-Roman Reigns match was five stars and will be watching it again very soon. Raw had some debuts and a challenge for the newly-crowned World Heavyweight Champion that seemed to indicate that our pal Jacob Fatu will be on Raw for awhile. It seems that from a personnel standpoint, today was a very bad day for a lot of folks, so let’s see how it all shakes out on the show tonight.

Smackdown comes to the USA/Netflix airwaves from The Dickies Center in Fort Worth, TX. The announcing team for tonight’s show consists of Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett on match calls and analysis, Mark Nash on ring introductions, and Cathy Kelley on backstage interviews and breaking news segments. Let’s watch some wrestling!

Then, Now, Forever….TOGETHER

Wrestlemania highlights open the show. We have some folks showing up for work tonight in Texas: WWE Men’s Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes, WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, and Lil Yachty along with new WWE Men’s US Champion Trick Williams and The Gingerbread Man. They are almost run over by Danhausen, and Trick tells Danhausen to “mind his own business while grown folks are walking”. Danhausen has a Stephen A. Smith Fathead and tells the Trick crew to be careful lest they get cursed like Stephen A. did.

Looks like I didn’t have to worry! Here’s Jacob Fatu out to open the proceedings, and he has a microphone. Fatu mentions having a chat with the new World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns on Monday night and telling Reigns specifically he didn’t want the title, he NEEDS the title. Fatu says Reigns was right when he said that Fatu wasn’t ready because Fatu has been hearing that from everyone in his life for the longest time now. Fatu says that if Reigns thinks he’s not ready, there’s one way to prove it and that’s to step into the ring with Fatu. Here’s Big Jim Uso and Main Event Jey Uso out for a dialogue. Jim says they heard him on Monday regarding Fatu’s wishes to upgrade his life and his family’s life. Jim tries to point Fatu at Cody Rhodes’s title instead and join “the family” while leaving the OTC alone. Jim cautions Fatu against listening to the crowd, and then Jey points out that it might be too late anyway because Fatu opened his mouth to Reigns. Jey says the only thing Fatu can do is look Roman in the eye and get ready for war. Here’s Solo Sikoa out with the MFT’s (sans Talla Tonga) to tell Fatu that Jim and Jey are lying to him because they weren’t around when Sikoa brought Fatu to the WWE. Sikoa tells Fatu that if he wants to beat Reigns and be champion Sikoa can do that for him and it will require an army. Tama Tonga snatches the microphone away and asks Sikoa why they’re wasting their time with a lost cause like Fatu. Tonga says Fatu can’t beat Reigns because he can’t even beat Sikoa. Fatu decides the best way to handle that insult is to superkick Tonga down while Sikoa holds back JC Mateo and Tonga Loa. Fatu says the only person he should be talking to right now is Roman Reigns, but to keep it 100, he’ll prove to Sikoa that he can beat him in the main event tonight.

The pieces are moving amongst the entirety of the Bloodline at this point. Jim and Jey coming out to point out that Fatu probably bit off more than he can chew was an interesting touch but they weren’t threatening Fatu with violence. It was much more like from a family standpoint, this is what you’ve signed up for by making that challenge, cousin. Sikoa and his goon squad are like that crew that show up to the cookout with two cases of Miller Lite, proceed to get piss drunk and insult everyone, before running over the flower beds with their 89 Corollas on the way to the tractor pull. We’ll see how this goes in the main, though.

Tessitore puts over Barrett’s work sitting beside Michael Cole all weekend long at Wrestlemania before throwing it backstage. Here’s Cathy Kelley with WWE Women’s US Champion Giulia and Kiana James. Kelley asks Giulia if she feels any more pressure facing Tiffany Stratton tonight and Giulia seems nettled that this match didn’t happen at Wrestlemania. James points out she was negotiating to have it happen at the Showcase but the negotiations did not prove fruitful. Giulia says she’s not feeling any pressure, just anger, and storms off. James accuses Kelley of causing dissent because her “questions make people tense”.

Tiffany Stratton makes her entrance as we go to commercials.

Austin Richardson, Cort McFadden, and Fallon Forbe from PBR Rodeo are in the crowd!

WWE Women’s US Championship: Giulia (C) vs Tiffany Stratton

Kiana James is out with Giulia despite the earlier bickering. There’s some acrobatics to start and Stratton gets a quick one count after a clothesline. Stratton gets pulled into a small package that gets two. There’s an exchange of covers that all get two, and Giulia has had enough of that so she snaps off a neckbreaker that gets two. Giulia starts firing off headbutts, but Stratton shakes it off and flattens Giulia with a rolling Death Valley Driver. Stratton ascends but Giulia pops up and prevents the Prettiest Moonsault Ever attempt by pushing Stratton on the backside. Giulia drops Stratton into the Tree of Woe and flies in with a shotgun dropkick. Giulia hits a draping neckbreaker on the floor and we go to commercials.

Stratton fires up with a clothesline and a back handspring elbow when the show returns. Stratton hits a handspring stunner that gets two. Stratton ascends but Giulia fires up and meets her on the top rope. Giulia hits a superplex and covers for two. Stratton runs into some James interference, and she ducks out of the way when Giulia charges over to hit her from behind. Giulia crashes into James and Stratton rolls her up for two. Stratton yoinks Giulia up for another rolling Death Valley Driver and then ascends. Stratton’s Prettiest Moonsault Ever is countered into a modified Rings of Saturn by Giulia. Stratton rolls Giulia back onto her shoulders and gets two. Stratton hits a forearm and a big knee, but Giulia grabs a quick roll up for two. Giulia fires off the Arrivederci Knee but Stratton rolls out of the Northern Lights attempt and waffles Giulia with an Alabama Slam. Stratton finally hits the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and covers Giulia for three.

I think this was Stratton’s best match in quite some time, frankly. I’m not sure where this will leave Giulia and James, but we have kicked the idea around of Giulia getting a big match when the Clash In Italy happens and so perhaps this loss is leading to that outcome. It was interesting that the “not making Wrestlemania” crutch was used in the build-up for this and perhaps there is a split coming between Giulia and James. 3.5*

Winner AND NEW WWE Women’s US Champion – Tiffany Stratton (Prettiest Moonsault Ever)

Tessitore throws to highlights from The Miz and Kit Wilson being confronted by Danhausen and the Littlehausens at Wrestlemania. Danhausen dropping a Five Knuckle Shuffle on Miz was excellent. EARLIER THIS WEEK Danhausen went to Miz’s palatial estate and was immediately asked to leave, so he went to Miz’s pool and was kicked out of that as well. TO BE CONTINUED

Highlights of Paige and Brie Bella winning the Women’s Tag titles are shown, and they will be on the show after commercials.

Here’s Cathy Kelley with new Women’s US Champion Tiffany Stratton who says it feels amazing to be a champion again after being a “runner up” for almost all of 2026. Stratton vows to show the WWE Universe why it runs on TIFFY TIME.

Here’s WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Brie Bella and Paige out to a raucous pop. Bella says it feels incredible to be in the ring as a champion and puts over how special Wrestlemania was despite not being able to compete with her sister. Bella puts over Paige as being her sister as well, and welcomes her back to WWE. Paige says she’s lost her voice but it was a hell of a week. Paige says she’s proud to be there with Bella and she’s very happy to be home. Paige tells everyone that Smackdown is her house, and here’s Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss out to join the proceedings. Both are in their gear, as are the champs, so let’s see what unfolds here. Flair says she guesses it’s good to see Paige back but her and Bella have something they want. Flair says if Paige wants to prove that Smackdown is her house there’s no better way to prove it than to face her and Bliss. Bella and Paige say they’re down, and Flair offers a WOOOO in response. Paige calls for a referee, Lil Naitch comes sprinting out, and we go to commercials.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Brie Bella and Paige vs Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss

We’re joined in progress and no mention was made that this is for the titles, so let’s see what happens. Bliss is trying to prevent Bella from making a tag as the show returns but Bella decides to yank Bliss into a Side Russian Leg Sweep instead. Bella gets smashed by a Bliss shotgun dropkick and Flair tags in. Flair chops Bella and then baits Paige a bit before snapping Bella over with a fall-away slam. Bella gets waffled with an enziguri by Flair, but Flair’s subsequent follow-up knee drop misses. Bella crawls over and Flair prevents her again from making the tag. Here’s Jacy Jayne out to yank Paige off the apron and run her into the ring steps. Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid charge into the ring to attack the rest of the competitors. Henley and Reid hit a double-team pumphandle backbreaker on Bliss and then join Jayne in mugging for the cameras.

As Trick would say, let’s talk about it. We’ve all known for awhile now that there was nothing left for Jacy Jayne to accomplish in NXT, and Fallon Henley has been ready for the main as well. Lainey Reid being called up with them is a bit surprising to me but sometimes you throw people into the deep end of the pool and see if they can swim. Starting them out in the tag division feels smart, presuming that this attack means upcoming matches with Flair and Bliss specifically. Obviously there’s not much to rate from this as it ends with the ref tossing the match due to interference.

No winner – Match thrown out after Fatal Influence attacking all competitors

After commercials, here’s ARMBAR Winner Royce Keys chatting with some neighborhood folks and being put over as a man of the people with a lot of them rooting hard for him. Keys says he’s got people depending on him and he’s not going to slow down.

“Kingdom” hits and here’s WWE Men’s Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes out. Rhodes eye looks much better but he still has an unbelievable shiner for his efforts at Wrestlemania. Rhodes wants to talk about how he left Wrestlemania battered and bloodied but still walking up the ramp like a champion is supposed to. Rhodes says he wanted to send a message at Wrestlemania to Randy Orton, who Rhodes pointedly says is not in the building tonight. Rhodes mentions that Orton gave him his best shot, the Punt, and Rhodes is still here. Rhodes also mentions Sami Zayn calling him the “golden boy” so he showed up in gold at Wrestlemania in a golden-themed outfit just to prove he could still put in the work. Rhodes also mentions the “outside forces” who interfered in his Wrestlemania moments three times now to no effect, and they should keep counting their money and mind their own damn business. Rhodes says if you’re from NXT, Raw, or Smackdown, he’s available and easy to find but very hard to beat.

This was a reset for Rhodes and a good way to end the nonsense that surrounded his Wrestlemania match. Pointing out that TKO may have had some say in how the whole thing went won’t really amount to much as they’ll do whatever they want again next year if it suits them. With Jacob Fatu presumably tied up with Roman Reigns currently, I’m not sure what they’ll do with Rhodes unless his little tete-a-tete with Charles Montgomery Punk on Monday night was actually leading somewhere. We’ll see how it plays out.

Tessitore and Barrett talk over highlights of the Fatal Influence debut beatdown. Here’s Solo Sikoa and the MFT’s chatting over the plans to win the tag team titles tonight. Sikoa tells Tonga Loa he’s going to teach Jacob Fatu a lesson tonight about how much he needs the MFT’s.

WWE Men’s Tag Team Champions Damian Priest and R-Truth make their entrance as we go to commercials.

WWE Men’s Tag Team Championship: Damian Priest and R-Truth (C) vs The MFT’s (Tama Tonga and JC Mateo)

Tonga Loa is out with the MFT’s, and all have donned the war paint since appearing without it at the start of the show. It’s Truth and Tonga to start, and they slug it out to start. Tonga misses an elbow drop and Priest tags in to start throwing rights. Priest trucks Tonga and then flattens a charging Mateo with a kick. Priest splashes Tonga with an elbow and then gets yanked back by Mateo on the top rope. Truth protests and this allows Tonga time enough to clothesline Priest to the floor. Loa runs Priest over with a lariat and we go to commercials.

The MFT’s are working Priest over when the show returns, and Mateo gets a cover for two. Priest lifts a high boot and fights his way out of the MFT corner before crushing Mateo with a huge lariat. Priest tags in Truth and he goes right into the John Cena sequence. Truth hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle but Mateo slips off his shoulders when he tries for the Attitude Adjustment. Truth swipes at Loa, and as the ref admonishes him, Tonga sneaks in to drop Truth with a rolling neckbreaker. Mateo hits a bridging German and his cover is broken up at two by Priest. The MFT’s double team Truth but Tonga misses a charge and Priest gets a blind tag. Priest and Truth hit the Rise Up facebreaker on Mateo and Priest covers him for three.

I thought this was fine for what it was, but you don’t really have to seek out more than the highlights here as it very much was just a television match. Priest and Truth are presiding over an almost non-existent tag division at this point, sadly. The MFT storyline is just limping along and perhaps there will be further developments surrounding Sikoa’s main event appearance later. For now, they remain joyless goobers. 2.5*

Winners AND STILL WWE Men’s Tag Team Champions – Damian Priest and R-Truth (Rise Up)

Here’s the second part of the Miz-Danhausen thing at Miz’s house. Miz confronts Danhausen at his golf simulator and promptly gets a driver to the nuts. Danhausen proclaims a hole in one, and then picks up a Slammy. The bottom of the Slammy falls off, and Danhausen takes the rest of it and goes to leave while taking a “free chocolate”. Here’s Maryse at the door as Miz tosses a bowl of dirt that hits Maryse. Danhausen then absconds with Miz’s daughter’s bike while calling Miz’s Cybertruck a “spaceship”.

Lil Yachty and WWE Men’s US Champion Trick Williams dap it up before grabbing the Gingerbread Man to head out for their celebration. Trick gets some spray “above the belt but below the chain” and then backhands a stagehand as the trio march towards the ring. We go to commercials.

“Locked In” hits and here’s the Trick Williams entourage out to a “Whoop That Trick” chant. The ring has been decorated and Trick poses in the corner as Mark Nash announces him. Trick tells Yachty he thinks the people are excited to celebrate with him. Trick gets the crowd to do the Whoop That chant and Yachty mentions that after the Road to Wrestlemania Celebrity Promo tour ended, he’s still there and intends to stay. Trick says it’s now the Trick-Yachty game and they run Smackdown. Yachty ends the Open Challenge gimmick and Trick says they’re going to have to find him to get a shot. The pyro goes off as Yachty makes it rain, and then the Gingerbread Man attacks Yachty and Trick with his candy cane. As it turns out, the Gingerbread Man was actually Sami Zayn, and he continues the beatdown before levelling Trick with a Helluva Kick. Zayn mocks the Whoop That Trick dance and then makes his exit.

This feud MUST CONTINUE, I guess. They have decent chemistry, so I don’t mind it, and if Yachty is sticking around as Trick’s manager, that adds a layer in to the whole thing as you don’t see too many babyfaces with managers any more.

Here’s Royce Keys and the ARMBAR trophy as Cathy Kelley approaches for a word. Keys wants Kelley to repeat her question about how he feels about winning the ARMBAR because it feels really good to hear it, and here’s a clapping Solo Sikoa to congratulate Keys while mentioning he gave the “big man” the night off (Talla Tonga has been conspicuous by his absence tonight, Gorilla). Sikoa says there’s always room for Keys in his family, and then leaves the scene.

There’s a Tale of the Tape for the upcoming Danhausen vs Miz match that indicates that Danhausen has self-reported himself as being 6’8″, 300 lbs, and sporting size 26 shoes. Miz’s facts for the match include: Curse Status: Active, Last Win: Under Review, and Never Been On A Blimp. Danhausen makes his entrance in his Hausenmobile and still has Miz’s Slammy in tow. We go to commercials.

Danhausen vs The Miz

Kit Wilson is out with the Miz, and Charles Robinson has the honor of not only refereeing Ric Flair vs Randy Savage, but now this mammoth contest. Wilson steals the Slammy back, and Danhausen takes exception to that by hitting a cross-body and a rana on a charging Miz. Wilson distracts and Miz attacks Danhausen from behind before putting the boots to him. Miz and Wilson celebrate along the ropes before Danhausen does the Undertaker sit-up. Danhausen CURSES Miz and Wilson with pyro that drives Wilson back to the floor. Danhausen rolls up Miz for three.

ELEVEN BILLION STARS. 11,000,000*

Winner – Danhausen (roll up)

Post-match sees Danhausen run for it while being chased by the Miz. Danhausen goes under the ring and Miz crashes into Wilson when they both emerge. Danhausen escapes in the Hausenmobile as Miz and Wilson are verklempt at ringside.

Highlights of Rhea Ripley winning the Women’s title from Jade Cargill at Wrestlemania are shown prior to going to commercials.

Here’s Blake Monroe and she’ll be debuting on Smackdown SOON. She just lost a casket match, so it may take some time to dig her way out of the Earth, presumably.

Here’s WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley out to “Demon In Your Dreams”. Ripley gets a huge hand as usual before grabbing a microphone. Ripley says Mami is finally champion again after Jade Cargill proved to her at Wrestlemania that she can really go. Ripley promises to be a fighting champion and she’s down for a challenge tonight so if anyone wants to step to Mami, now is the time. Here’s Fatal Influence out with microphones and Jacy Jayne tells a booing crowd to shut up because she waited long enough to get there. Jayne tells Ripley that she’ll give her credit for winning at Wrestlemania but she wants credit for taking out the legends earlier. Ripley gets the crowd to calm down and says that Fatal’s attack was impressive, but they should stop while they’re ahead. Henley says thanks but no thanks, because what they did to the legends is nothing compared to what they’re about to do. Reid chimes in to make sure everyone knows their names. Ripley says she thought Cargill was cocky, but she’s used to the numbers game while showing them her new title belt. Ripley is ready for a fight and invites Jayne to take her shot. Jayne says they’re always ready to throw hands and here’s Smackdown GM Nick Aldis out to make a match between Jayne and Ripley right here, right now. We go to commercials.

Jacy Jayne vs WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley

Henley and Reid remain at ringside with Jayne, and this is apparently non-title as you would expect. I am guessing we’re not getting a clean finish here. Ripley slams Jayne down and waves at her before they lock up again. Ripley gets pulled into a side headlock so Ripley yanks her up to toss Jayne away. Ripley trucks Jayne who consults with Henley and Reid before continuing. Jayne ducks a pump kick and smashes Ripley with a right before snapping her over with a rana. Ripley gets hit with an armdrag, but Ripley sends her to the apron when Jayne charges. Ripley pops Jayne with a right that sends her to the floor, and Jayne then sidesteps a Ripley between-the-ropes dropkick attempt. Jayne goes the apron and tries a kick but Ripley catches her and hits an Electric Chair on the apron. Ripley tosses Jayne back in but stupidly stops to jaw with Reid and Henley allowing Jayne to mash her with a running kick. Fatal celebrate together as we go to commercials.

Jayne trucks Ripley and covers for two when the show returns. Ripley responds with a roundhouse kick and then lariats Jayne down. Ripley hits a reverse thrust kick and then yanks Jayne up for a facebreaker. Ripley hits a running shotgun dropkick and Jayne fires up with a superkick. Ripley slips a charge and runs right into a Jayne pump knee that gets two. Jayne tries for Rolling Encore but misses, and Ripley mashes Jayne with a high kick. Ripley ascends and Jayne smashes the ropes to drop her onto the top turnbuckle. Jayne ascends and her and Ripley slug it out before Ripley slips down to mash Jayne with a Cheeky Nandos. Jayne grabs a roll up for two but eats a Ripley reverse thrust kick. Ripley hits the Razor’s Edge on Jayne and then wallops her with a running knee that gets two. Ripley hits a headbutt and wants the Riptide, and here’s Reid and Henley charging in to cause the DQ with a beatdown.

I thought this was a very solid singles debut for Jayne, honestly. Ripley will always play ball with an NXT call up and she certainly did here. Jayne is polished and poised and you can tell she fully believes in herself at this point, which is a hard thing to accomplish as someone going toe to toe with someone at Ripley’s level. I suspect we haven’t seen the last of these two duking it out. The finish kind of killed the vibe here but I get why it went this way. 3.25*

Winner – Rhea Ripley (Jayne DQ’d when Reid and Henley attacked Ripley)

Post-match sees the Fatal attack continue until Jayne ends it with a Rolling Encore that drops Ripley immediately. Fatal leave to a chorus of boos as Ripley is left laying mid-ring.

Highlights are shown of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns promo from Monday night where he and the Usos reunited before Jacob Fatu showed up to challenge the Tribal Chief for Backlash. Reigns promised to see “little cousin” on this week’s Raw and I’m sure our good friend Kat will have you all covered with another fantastic recap of THE FLAGSHIP SHOW.

Here’s Main Event Jey and BIG JIM telling Jacob Fatu they’ll be watching and will have Fatu’s back out there, but Fatu says he won’t need their help and then leaves the scene. We go to commercials.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are being tended to in Medical when Rhea Ripley enters. Ripley asks if they have a problem, and Bliss says of course they do, it’s Fatal Influence. Flair says she’s going to handle Jacy Jayne next week “unlike some people”. Bliss says it’s not Ripley, Flair is just “like that”. Flair and Bliss leave, and Ripley is attended to by Medical.

Here’s a look back at Brock Lesnar’s career set to “I Walk Alone”, and it’s the same one that played on Raw.

Solo Sikoa, flanked by the MFT’s, makes his entrance as we go to commercials.

Ricky Saints will be debuting on Smackdown next week. Did you know Ricky Saints holds the last pinfall victory over Oba Femi in any WWE ring? WELL NOW YOU DO, PAL.

Solo Sikoa vs Jacob Fatu

Sikoa is 2-0 vs Fatu currently. The MFT’s are at ringside as the bell rings. Sikoa works a side headlock but Fatu shakes it off and they try to truck each other to no avail. Fatu drops Sikoa with a right and then mounts him in a corner for some headbutts. Sikoa drops Fatu face-first on the top turnbuckle and then mounts him to drops some right hands. Sikoa puts the stink-mouth on Fatu and then pops him with another right. Fatu follows Sikoa while running the ropes and mashes him with a forearm and a running elbow. Mateo interferes from the floor and Fatu gets dumped out there by Sikoa. The MFT’s attack en masse and then dump Fatu back in. The Usos wander out and Fatu tells them he doesn’t want their help. Sikoa grabs a quick roll up for two as we go to commercials.

Sikoa and Fatu start slugging it out when the show returns. Sikoa hits an overhead release German and covers Fatu for two. Sikoa and Fatu start exchanging blows mid-ring and Fatu takes the advantage with some rapid-fire rights. Fatu hits a clothesline and a running senton. Fatu mounts Sikoa and drops more headbutts before mashing Sikoa with a Hip Attack. There’s more interference from the MFT’s but Fatu ducks a Spike attempt and ascends. Loa goes to the apron on the far side and that allows time for Mateo to jump up and dump Fatu down to the mat. Sikoa grabs a roll up for two. Fatu hits a suicide dive on the MFT’s and then runs into a Sikoa thrust kick. Sikoa hits a uranage and ascends for a splash. Sikoa’s cover gets two and he cannot believe Fatu kicked out. Sikoa wants the Spike but Fatu ducks it and wallops Sikoa with a superkick. Fatu hits a pop-up Samoan Drop and then ascends for the Mighty Moonsault. Fatu covers Sikoa and gets three.

I thought this was a solid main event and despite all the interference, I very much enjoyed the clean-ish finish. Fatu is just so good at everything for a man his size, and Sikoa is a fine opponent in these types of matches. The post-match stuff was the big talking point coming out of this but there’s now a storyline point of Fatu getting his first pinfall win over Sikoa that could play a part down the line depending how far this story goes. Fun match. 3.5*

Post-match sees the MFT’s charge in to attack Fatu. This brings the Usos down the aisle as Fatu kicks away a chairshot attempt. Fatu yanks up the chair and goes to work on Mateo and Tonga before placing chairs around their necks for Hip Attacks. Fatu hits a suicide dive on Loa and clears the announce table. Fatu headbutts Loa down and then splashes him through the table. Fatu has some verbals with the Usos and they stare each other down as the credits roll and we’re out.

Lots of Fatal Influence, MFT’s, and Danhausen tonight. Not all of that was bad, but it was a LOT, you know? The wrestling was solid tonight, but I thought that the middle hour was not the best effort. The women’s tag ending in a debut attack, the sort-of middling men’s tag match, and the Zayn reveal and subsequent attack on Trick and Yachty was just content for content’s sake. The bookend hours were solid though, and so overall I feel positive about tonight for the first time in awhile.

Thanks for reading and commenting. Please make sure to give all the reviewers some love while you’re surfing this weekend. Also, send out a good thought for the folks who get released on Friday. Job losses aren’t funny in the slightest no matter what your opinion of someone’s ability might be.
