Ronda Rousey Says Wrestling Is ‘Pretty Much’ In Her Rearview Mirror
Ronda Rousey spoke about the possibility of her stepping back into a wrestling ring and said that wrestling is “pretty much” in her rearview mirror at this point. Rousey said that she only joined WWE because she wanted to wrestle her friends Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir, and that she walked away from WWE as she felt that they were holding her back creatively.
Riho Returns To AEW On Dynamite, Will Challenge For TBS Title At All Out
The inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion, Riho, has returned to AEW after over a year away from the ring and has immediately thrust herself into the TBS Title picture as she will face Mercedes Mone for her title at the upcoming All Out pay-per-view. The match was set after Riho came out as Mone had Alex Windsor hooked up for a Statement Maker and made the save by dropkicking the champion out of the ring.
WWE Shop Accidentally Spoils AJ Lee’s Return in Now-Deleted Tweet
After it was reported that AJ Lee could be returning to WWE on tomorrow’s SmackDown and have her first match back at Wrestlepalooza, her return was possibly spoiled by WWE Shop’s Twitter account in a tweet that has since been deleted, where they responded to a fan asking about new AJ Lee merch being released for her return. The tweet stated: “Hey there! Of course, we wouldn’t expect that. With AJ Lee’s return to the ring, we are looking to have some [fire emoji] gear hopefully in time for Wrestlepalooza. Be sure you’re signed up for emails and get the latest updates on new live inventory. Happy shopping!” Whoever runs that social media account got a very stern talking to, I bet!
Rampage Jackson: Police Should Be Investigating Syko Stu
Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Rampage Jackson said that the police should be investigating Syko Stu, stating that Stu has a history of attacking people backstage and being drunk at numerous shows. Rampage’s son, Raja Jackson, attacked independent wrestler Syko Stu last month in a planned spot that turned bad as Raja proceeded to legitimately punch Stu in the face, whilst he was rendered unconscious by a slam from Raja, leaving him in a coma and with multiple facial injuries.
