Riho Returns To AEW On Dynamite, Will Challenge For TBS Title At All Out

The first AEW Women’s World Champion, Riho, returned last night on Dynamite after over a year away from the ring and will immediately challenge for the TBS Title at All Out.

The match between Riho and TBS Champion Mercedes Mone was announced at the end of last night’s episode of Dynamite after the original AEW Women’s Champion returned after having been away from the ring since July 6, 2024, where she defeated Lady Frost in a singles match.

Riho came out as Mone had Alex Windsor hooked up for a Statement Maker and made the save by dropkicking Mone out of the ring. This will be Riho’s first AEW title match since she challenged Toni Storm for the Women’s World Title at Worlds End 2023. She was also the first-ever AEW Women’s World Champion, having won the inaugural title match on the first episode of Dynamite back on October 2, 2019.

Besides Riho Vs. Mone, What Other Match Was Made Official For All Out On Dynamite?

Ricochet and The Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) issued a challenge on Dynamite to The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and MVP) to a match at All Out, which Hurt Syndicate later accepted.

The two trios have been causing issues for each other as of late, as Ricochet, Liona, and Kaun contributed to Hurt Syndicate’s AEW World Tag Team Title match loss at All In by interference, and on last week’s Dynamite, Hurt Syndicate cost Ricochet and Gates of Agony their chance to win the World Trios Title from The Opps.
