Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez – Crunch Time (episode four)

Previously, on Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez… episodes one, two and three happened.

Episode four, titled “Crunch Time,” dropped with the first eight episodes on February 8, 2024 on Hulu and on Disney+ for those with the Disney Bundle.

Our fan question montage asks how WWE affects their relationship. Bianca says they’re lucky to have each other but not one day looks the same. You have to come back and admit you weren’t always right. Montez says usually he’s the one who is wrong.

53 Days Until WrestleMania. We’re at the craft store and Bianca is picking out fabric. She’s making Montez’s gear for Elimination Chamber and says she’s in her happy place. She explains she makes all her gear and learned it all herself. She explains that your gear can tell a story and it’s as important as your moves. She picks out several kinds of fabric and it’s all stuff she would like. Montez tells us he doesn’t want her to make his gear because she already does so much.

Back to their house as Bianca cuts out patterns before being attacked by gnats, saying they live in Jurassic Park. Girl, I feel ya. Montez walks in wearing boxing gear and says he’s found his gear for the Chamber. Really he’s trying to give her inspiration for his Chamber gear. She says it’s a good starting point. He has several other costumes that he shows off as inspiration and cracks her up.

Montez says that Randy Savage always inspired him with his gear because Randy always made you see every inch of his outfit. Montez wants the WWE Universe to know that he’s not just a tag act or Bianca’s husband but he’s Montez Ford. He says he wants to be a king. Bianca says he’s her king.

Mohegan Sun Arena. Liv Morgan – WWE Superstar is in the makeup room. She asks how things are going and Bianca says Montez is nervous and so is she. Liv wonders who Bianca is facing at WrestleMania and says maybe it’ll be her. Bianca says she can’t control who she is facing, so she controls her gear and entrance.

We flash back to her marching band last year and now she’s got to top that this year. She tells Liv about having “mini ESTs” – girls that dress like her – and she wants her Mania to be about them. She has very little time to figure it out. She says she found a dance team, Divas of Compton in California, and Liv says she needs to go for it.

47 Days Until WrestleMania. Angelo Dawkins – Montez’s Tag Team Partner is over at the Ford/Belair house as we flash back to their match Monday. Montez complains to Dawkins about Bianca making the gear and how much more pressure it’s putting on her. He doesn’t want to be the one to keep pressuring her, but we are four days away. He says he is winning and tries to take Dawkins’ shorts as gear.

2:00 a.m. Bianca is sewing away and pokes herself in the lip. Montez asks what she’s doing and she is trying to finish the gear. It’s the night before Chamber and she’s still trying to figure out the gear. She says we wouldn’t be in this position if he would’ve figured out his gear earlier. He says he loves her, knows she can figure it out and he’s taking his energy to bed. She tells him to try on pants and they just don’t fit. She says she’s going to have to bring the sewing machine with them and that she’s out of time. With the Chamber looming, Montez has no gear.

Montreal, 42 Days Until WrestleMania. Bianca realizes she left the pedal to the sewing machine at home and doesn’t know what to do. She tells Montez she just ordered a sewing machine and it’s on the way. He is stressed but her comfort zone is important, so he starts massaging. He takes her hat off, which had the hair sewn into the interior of it. She says he snatched all her edges and begs him to go get it as they kiss. He goes but realizes there are a bunch of fans down there… and steals her wig hat.

Montez returns with the sewing machine and says he has faith she can get this done as we go to commercial.

Elimination Chamber. Montez walks out into the area and sees the Chamber. “I’m a part of this.” He says it’s the biggest moment of his career and it’s just him. Dara – Montez’s Mom is there with Bianca to surprise him. He asks how she got through customs. He’s excited and Bianca says it is hard to surprise him. She has the gear and he says he KNEW she would come through.

Michael Cole welcomes us to Elimination Chamber and that wild Montreal crowd. Samantha Irvin announces the women’s Chamber match and Bianca says it’s a big deal for her as she finds out her opponent for WrestleMania. Samantha announces the match rules and off we go.

We see plenty of match highlights as Asuka comes in and gets the win over Carmella. Asuka is going to Mania and Bianca says that’s a big deal, telling us how great Asuka is. Corey Graves asks if the EST is ready for Asuka.

Mike Rome announces the men’s Chamber match as Montez kisses Bianca backstage and heads out onto the entrance ramp…
