Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez – The Training Game (episode three)

Previously, on Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez… episode one and episode two happened.

Episode three, titled “The Training Game,” dropped with the first eight episodes on February 8, 2024 on Hulu and on Disney+ for those with the Disney Bundle.

We start with the usual random fan questions, with the focus on preparing for Mania. Both say that every minute counts. Bianca says it’s challenging to try to have a life and a WWE schedule.

56 Days Until WrestleMania. Montez is singing and crafting breakfast smoothies. Bianca wants to know why he’s on “ten” this early in the morning. Bianca says on top of training for Mania, she’s also training for a bodybuilding competition. We see footage of her in the 2022 World Beauty Fitness and Fashion Competition, which she won and got her pro card. Montez is also competing in the men’s division this year. Bianca says it’s a busy week with the parents coming and Raw.

Later in the day, Montez says he has the room setup for the parents. Bianca is excited because her parents are coming and says it’s always good times when parents are here as Montez makes a face. Bianca notes the diet for these competitions are tough and they’re struggling as Travonda – Bianca’s Mom and Leonard – Bianca’s Dad are here. Leonard had back surgery and Bianca asks if he is taking it easy, which is a big no. Bianca tells them she’s more nervous for this Mania than the previous two, as she has the title this year. Montez says Mania is in the void for him even getting there, but thinks he is at least in the conversation. It’s hard to see your peers in it and not knowing if you will be.

Bianca throws the eight pillows off their bed. Montez asks why she gets so many pillows just to throw them on the ground. Montez gets a text saying he has a solo match on Raw, which is a big deal. Dawkins also has a solo match. Bianca says look at how quickly things can turn in WWE. Montez wonders how much he can celebrate if he has a solo Mania match and Dawkins doesn’t.

55 Days Until WrestleMania. The duo are training in the home gym. Bianca says it’s so hard to train for the competition and WWE. Montez says everything is in sync right now – Raw, a competition, and training with his baby.

We move to the Performance Center for a WWE photo shoot. Bianca is yawning through it. Mama Belair calls and says she can’t find the paper towels. Bianca falls asleep during the call while in the makeup chair.

Brooklyn, NY – Monday Night Raw. Bianca gets a win over Bayley as Angelo Dawkins – Montez’s Tag Team Partner loudly watches football. Up walks Reggie – WWE Superstar who says the Profits both have singles matches coming up. Angelo says when he starts breathing hard, he won’t have a partner.

Orlando, FL. Leonard is doing all kinds of home projects and Travonda says he’s doing too much. She tells Bianca she’s worried about her overworking herself. Bianca says she’s always tired but she wants to be productive. Her mom tells her it’s too much and to not wear her body down. Bianca says she gets it from her daddy, but now she’s doubting it all. Mama suggests just letting Montez do the competition as we see dad climbing ladders outside.

The duo are in the car. Tez is ready for Raw and his solo match against Elias. It’s an Elimination Chamber qualifying match. He says he’s motivated by everything Bianca has done and it’s just him for this one. He says the Chamber is scary as hell but he wants to show everybody something different.

We’re in Orlando for Raw. We see footage of Dawkins getting his qualifying match against Damien Priest and losing. Bianca is watching backstage and the parents are in the crowd as Montez comes out for his match. Montez does a hell of a leap over the ring post and onto Elia and he’s in the Chamber. They celebrate backstage but he’s sweaty so she doesn’t want to embrace.

Back to the Ford/Belair household. He asks Bianca how she feels and she says she’s having second thoughts about the competition. She’s starting to feel triggers with bulimia and binge eating as she did in track in college and she needs to pull out. She wants Tez to keep going and he says he respects her so much for doing this for her. That said, “I can now eat whatever the hell I want to eat!” He says he was only doing it for her and he’s been stressing about food.

The cookout is on as Dawkins, Reggie, Omos and the family are here and they’re cooking up every meat they can cook up. Bianca tells us she was doing too much at the wrong time, but Mania is what matters. Nicole – Bianca’s Friend and child are here and Bianca and her baby fever immediately have the kid in her hands.
