Daily News Update – 12.22.17

I think Brian’s off tending to his offspring or whatever, so here’s what is going on today!

• Vince McMahon sold a bunch of stock to finance the XFL 2.0. He’s now down to 41% ownership stake in WWE as a result.
• Smackdown ratings were up a little bit off the PPV. Don’t forget, you get to watch RAW live on Christmas Day! I don’t think even the Big Dog can save that rating.
• If you’re looking for reading material, I posted a new World Championship Wrestling review from January 87 this morning, and I have a Sporting News article about the XFL up as of yesterday.
