Wrestlers calling spots

Hi Scott,

How do you feel when you notice wrestlers call spots clearly in TV like Steve Austin & Chris Jericho? Do you think it affects the match quality? Because for me it takes me away from the match, when i’m invested in the drama & then i see them talking to each others.

​Just pretend that he’s talking shit about the guy’s mother or something. I personally don’t really notice it unless it’s super-obvious, but then it’s not really something I’m watching for. If calling spots is taking you out of the match then it’s probably not a very good match anyway. ​
