I don’t think so. Especially not Savage because Vince was only offering a limited position and schedule in the first place. Hogan might have tried in the short term like in 2002, but I think the Austin train would have rolled over him too. Vince could smell the money on Stone Cold by 97 and Hulk would have been putting him over.
