Random Questions

By Scott Keith on 14 January 2016

Hey Scott, big fan. Here are some pretty loosely related questions.

1) Am I the only one who has never been that high on Roman Reigns? He has a great look and is athletic, and I’d be quite happy with him as an upper-midcarder, but even when the Shield was over, he never showed the charisma of an Ambrose or the in-ring talent of a Rollins. Plus, I always saw him as not being quite big or physically imposing enough to be believable as a killer on par with a Goldberg or a Warrior, and he can’t particularly talk well either. What exactly is there about Reigns that has made Vince look at him as a franchise-level top guy? I could very well be wrong, and that brings me to the my second question.

It’s the MEATY THIGHS, PAL!

Other than that, I’ve always been a bit mystified as to what the big deal was, too. I think Ziggler had more immediate upside for a while there, for example.

2) What was the most glaring example you can remember of flat out being wrong in a prediction you made about WWE? For me, it was the time I thought Angle/HBK wasn’t going to be that good and shouldn’t have been booked for WM.

I’m pretty sure my exemplary record of predictions speaks for itself.

3) Related to Reigns’ poor promos, can you even remember the last truly great WWE promo on TV? All of them sound emotionless, generic and robotic with the heavy scripting.

I’m gonna say this one:
