Contracts Of Two AEW Stars To Expire Next Month

Anthony Bowens and Max Caster are reportedly approaching the end of their AEW contracts with no indication that new deals have been agreed. Both former members of The Acclaimed are set to see their contracts expire on October 1, with Fightful Select reporting there has been no word of negotiations taking place or whether AEW intends to offer either wrestler a new deal. Bowens and Caster joined AEW in 2020 and went on to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship, while also capturing the AEW World Trios Championship alongside Billy Gunn. The Acclaimed have since split, briefly reunited and separated again, leaving both wrestlers’ AEW futures uncertain with roughly a week remaining on their contracts.

Former WWE champion Braun Strowman cast in Netflix reality show

Former WWE star Braun Strowman is set to appear on Netflix in 2027 as part of the cast for the third season of Million Dollar Secret. Strowman, appearing under his real name Adam Scherr, will compete in the reality series’ first celebrity edition. The show places 12 contestants in a mansion, with one secretly possessing a box worth $1 million while the others attempt to identify them. Former WCW World Champion and actor David Arquette will also be among the celebrity contestants.

AEW Star Once Planned To Face Vickie Guerrero In A Street Fight

Nyla Rose has revealed that Vickie Guerrero was once part of a proposed AEW storyline that would have eventually led to a Street Fight between them. Speaking on Off The Rails, Rose said she enjoyed working alongside Guerrero as the Vicious Vixens and wanted to expand the pairing into a full faction. Her proposed storyline would have included Guerrero hitting Rose with a car before their partnership eventually broke down and culminated in a Street Fight. Rose said she has pitched variations of being hit by a car to Tony Khan for four years, but the idea has repeatedly been rejected.
