The Raw Rewind: WWE Monday Night Raw – 10.05.26

By Kat Bourne on 5 October 2026

It’s Monday night again, which means it is time for Monday Night Raw on Netflix (or Ring of Honor on YouTube for whatever reason that is happening tonight). What crime will 946 commit tonight? What last-minute advancement can we do towards Money in the Bank? Only one way to find out.

The last week in WWE: Raw / NXT / Evolve / Main Event / Impact / SmackDown / Lucha Libre AAA

Then, Now, Forever, Together.

THIS is the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The former Kiel Center, this building has seen the first Hell in a Cell, the Owen Hart tribute edition of Raw, Raw 1000, and Money in the Bank 2017. Tonight, it is the home of Monday Night Raw live on Netflix and presented by DoorDash Wendy’s. It’s going to take me weeks to not type DoorDash. Here’s a look at the Bloodline-946 drama we’ve seen on our Monday night programming.

A Jeep pulls up and the Tribal Chief himself, Roman Reigns, arrives. He’s greeted by Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso who want to talk to him about some family business. The music of L.A. Knight hits and Roman says he’ll talk about it later.

L.A. Knight heads towards the ring with the introduction of the great Alicia Taylor. He would like to talk to us. The only thing that matters to him is his match with Roman Reigns. He sees Roman as the establishment “and if you ask me I want the whole damn thing to come crumbling down.” He jokes that Roman should start walking the aisle today so he gets to the ring by the match time. The music of our Tribal Chief leads out WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns at his usual leisurely pace.

Reigns takes in an “OTC” chant, listens past a “L.A. Knight” chant, and asks Knight if he looks like a man who ever loses his poise. “I was born in the deep end, I was born in the fire. It doesn’t matter if 946 is doing this or that.” He says that Knight doesn’t have a shot and that Knight took the low road after the Roman-Penta match a few weeks ago. He makes fun of Knight complaining all the time. “You’re just another egg in the omelette and on Saturday I’m gonna break your bitch ass. I’m the only mega star here.” Roman asks for acknowledgement and heads out but Knight puts out a hand and stops him. “You know what my problem is with you? You’re the most manufactured corporate puppet industry plant I’ve ever seen in my life. They shoved a rocket so far up your ass I’m surprised your not spitting up rocket fuel.” He promises to make Roman spit something out Saturday night (perhaps his teeth) and take his title. This was a good segment. Both looked good here.

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett greet us from ringside.

Arrivals! Ethan Page, Rey Fenix, and Becky Lynch have all clocked in for work and will be on the show tonight.

Je’Von Evans and Penta vs WWE World Tag Team Champions The Vision (Bron Breakker and Austin Theory with Logan Paul and Maxxine Dupri)

Non-title. The Vision won these titles in July and have not defended them on television since. Je’Von and Penta attack during intros and it doesn’t go well for them. After a few minutes of brawling, Theory and Evans finally make it in to officially start the match. Theory sweeps the leg and pounds away at Je’Von before tagging in Bron. Bron clotheslines Je’Von and works him over for a while. Theory yanks Penta off the apron to keep him from tagging and Bron launches Je’Von to the outside to send us to learn about the magic of LEGO One Piece, Mattel’s WWE Slambulance (“figures do not move on their own”) and Penta’s love of Cricket Wireless.

We return to Theory still working over Evans which sounds like it has been a dull three minutes for the live crowd. Theory lifts Evans up and Bron does the Steiner top rope bulldog. Evans dodges the spear and Bron crashes into the turnbuckles, giving Evans the chance to get the hot tag to Penta. Penta chops down Theory and smashes the quarter-hand stand stomp. He dodges a running Bron and dives out onto him. Evans nails Theory with a flying clothesline and tries for a cutter off the ropes but Theory charges and knocks him down. Maxxine hops on the apron to distract the ref as Logan slides the brass knucks into the ring but they go too far and Je’Von grabs them. He nails Theory and covers for the three, winking at the camera as the hand hits for three.

Je’Von Evans and Penta defeat The Vision when Je’Von Evans pins Austin Theory. Bron is a hard one because when he loses, they make him look really dumb. He’s just a big man that charges at things and can’t stop himself. He’s fine, of course, but he doesn’t need to be in the tag division (or the crumbs of it) at this point. A basic match here. Maybe I’m just bitter that the tag titles, as always, mean nothing.

Bronson Reed comes in for the post-match destruction, destroying Penta and Je’Von and dropping a Tsunami on Penta. He goes up for another on Je’Von and King of the Ring Oba Femi charges out for the save. Logan Paul comes in to slap Oba and runs, giving the Brons the chance to double team Oba. Oba dodges the spear and clotheslines them both, clotheslines Bron to the outside and gets nailed by Bron. Oba grabs a mic. “Every other man is climbing a ladder but you have a mountain to climb and the only thing waiting for you at the top of the mountain is a fall from grace.”

Here’s a vignette for Liv Morgan who promises to get even and defeat Liv tonight and Stephanie on Saturday.

Here’s a look back at Worlds Collide and in particular the main event.

Jackie Redmond is with Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee. Dragon feels full of fire and pumps up Rey, the general manager who spends all his time hanging out with his preferred talents. Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh appear to tell Rey to keep Dom’s name out of his mouth. Dom says Rey will always be a deadbeat and Dragon calls for respect. We set up a tag match.

The production team accidentally slides up a graphic of Lola Vice before we go to a new message from 946, saying there are two left to take out and then they go for the grand prize. Ain’t nobody safe.

The Usos laugh in the dressing room before the OTC heads in, asking what happened about the 946 and why he keeps hearing about this. He asks if Jacob is alright as if he does not have a phone of his own. “I’ll handle this.” He didn’t even ask about poor sweet Solo who has been lost in the desert for three weeks.

Next Wednesday, Main Event moves to Rumble. Unfortunate. This is the first time they’ve mentioned Main Event on this show since they announced all the Intercontinental Title ladder match participants for WrestleMania and then announced they would have qualifying matches on Main Event.

Lola Vice and Sol Ruca vs The Judgment Day (WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez)

The Lola graphic appears again, this time in its correct spot, to send us to a Wendy’s commercial. This is the first time Lola and Sol have teamed together in a two-on-two. Sol gets a flurry to start, riding Rox like she’s a surfboard. Lola tags in and they double-hip thrust into Rox’s head. Solo crossbodies onto the women of Judgment Day and sends us to commercials to learn about XOLAIR, Minute Maid, and the modern version of A Different World.

We return to Raquel working over Sol as the Money in the Bank briefcases hang overhead. Lola gets the hot tag and unloads on Rox. Sol and Lola hit running hit attacks on both opponents before Lola suplexes Rox for a two. Lola and Rox fight to the outside and Sol tries for a Sol Snatcher, Rox distracting her and Raquel trying for a Tejana Bomb that Sol counters. Lola hits a spinning kick for a two and Raquel saves. Raquel goes for the MIA spinning backfist and Raquel ducks, so Sol gets nailed instead. Rox rolls Lola up for the pin.

Judgment Day defeats Sol Ruca and Lola Vice when Roxanne Perez pins Sol Ruca. A pretty good tag match here but if you’ve been watching for any amount of time, you knew there would be some problem between Lola and Sol to lead us to MITB.

Roman and Raw Manager Adam Pearce come into the locker room and Pearce says it’ll be the Bloodline vs 946 next week. The Usos express happiness to team with the Tribal Chief and Roman says it isn’t him, pointing to Solo Sikoa who has been upgraded to existing again. Welcome back, Solo Dolo. Pretty huge match for next week.

AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix vs Ethan Page

Non-title as Page doesn’t classify as a cruiserweight. Fenix signs his shirt and hands it off to kids in luchador masks. Page catches up with Fenix to smash him into the turnbuckle. Fenix runs across the rope to punt Page in the head before leaping off the top with the corkscrew. Fenix heads up again and Page shoves him. Fenix still pushes him away for a step-up moonsault into a two count. Page runs Fenix head-first by the mask into the turnbuckle to send us to ads.

Page is working over Fenix with power moves. Fenix swings into the ropes and nails a spinning kick and a face buster, covering Page for a two count. Fenix lines up and superkicks Page, falling on him for a two count. That’s on him for not hooking the leg. Fenix heads up, dodges Page and leaps right into his arms. Page scoops Fenix up for a powerslam and a two. They battle up top and Ethan scoops Fenix on his shoulder. Fenix leaps down and superkicks, trying for a Mexican Muscle Buster but Page wiggling loose. Page tries for a suplex, Fenix rolls him up for the pin.

Rey Fenix pins Ethan Page. This was pretty good. Page is really good at all of this and hopefully we’ll see that Cruiserweight Title in action on Raw soon.

We get our annual stat video on the Money in the Bank match.

The Judgment Day in full discuss Money in the Bank plans. You may note that they apparently played Liv-Becky on 2K26 and got a 1.5 star “lackluster” score. Did they even try? JD gets a package. “Don’t forget to check out my new album, ‘Beyond Belief.’” Yes, of course JD gets a Funko Pop in the package.

AAA General Manager & WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee vs The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh)

Dom tags out immediately when he sees Rey across the ring from him. Not much happens in the first few minutes, but we get to Dragon Lee dropping his corner kick into JD’s head and smashing him with a corner dropkick. Lee clotheslines JD to the outside and Rey tags in as Lee topes out onto JD. Rey follows by throwing his body onto Lee and sending us to a break.

Rey is fighting out of a headlock by JD when we return. He scurries under JD’s legs but gets caught. Dom tags in and drops an elbow on his deadbeat father, covering for a two count. Dom puts a spin on a Gory Special and tags in JD. JD whips Rey into the corner with all his strength and Joe Tess tells us the frustrations of the Funko Pop saga are messing with JD’s head. Rey boots JD and leaps into JD’s arms who ties him in the tree of woe in the corner. Rey lifts himself up to miss the charging JD. Dom knocks Dragon off the apron and tags in before Rey DDTs him. Rey almost gets the hot tag but here’s Big Cass to send Dragon over the barricade. Rey leaps into his arms as the referee is very distracted by JD. Rey knocks Cass into the post and sets up the 619. JD headbutts Rey as we missed a blind tag and covers for the pin.

Judgment Day defeats Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee when JD McDonagh pins Rey Mysterio. This was pretty by-the-numbers as well, but it was fine. You can’t go too wrong with these four. Rey bumping around for Cass in a few weeks will be fun, though I’m not sure it’ll match Rey-Omos.

Cass comes in after and goes to attack Rey but Lee makes the save until Cass swoops him into a side slam. Cass heads out but changes his mind, going back in and booting both masked men to the ground.

Becky Lynch joins us via vignette to talk her talk about her opponent tonight.

Tonight’s Made to Order Moment presented by Wendy’s: the Japanese commentary of Funaki and Shun Yamaguchi during the Vision tag match from earlier. Yes, Yamaguchi is the younger brother of the late Wally Yamauchi, Funaki’s former Kai En Tai manager.

Byron Saxton talks with Lyra Valkyria. Lyra says she’s beaten Bayley twice but Bayley is the reason she’s not in Money in the Bank. “How does it end?” Bayley appears and mocks Lyra, saying it is funny Lyra thinks she has any control over the situation. Bayley says it won’t be the end until she says it is over.

946 has sent in a video response for next week’s match. Jaida Parker says they’re still taking them out one by one. Royce Keys says they’ll light them all up at once in one shot. Those two teams battle next week, plus Chad Gable defends his Intercontinental Title against Rey Fenix.

Paul Heyman is watching and approached by Bronson Reed. Reed tells Heyman that Saturday he’s not only beating Oba but… Paul interrupts and says Oba is the ruler and the mountain no man can climb. He tells Reed he’ll have to push Oba off the mountain and jump off with roughly 18 Tsunamis until a priest or shaman stops it. And more Tsunamis after that. “Mr. Reed, you have no idea what happens when that bell rings. I’ve seen it. Oba Femi has humbled me.” Paul leaves and we pan over to see a loop of Oba dropping Brock at SummerSlam.

WWE Women’s World Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan

These two last met in a televised singles match right here on Raw back in April 2025 when Liv defeated Becky in a cage match. That’s a long way from their first televised Raw singles match in 2019 when Becky pinned Liv in just over a minute in a Beat The Clock Challenge. Order the new Mattel Elite Collection Liv Morgan & Chucky figures! Two future WWE Hall of Famers with figures. Good for them!

Alright, we have a match after what felt like half an hour of promos. Jessika Carr is the referee of course which could factor into the results. Becky stomps away at Liv before they fight to the outside where Liv yanks Becky by the hair and tosses her back in, covering for a one count. Liv rocks Becky with a running knee in the corner and dropkicks her down for a two. Liv works a chinlock for a bit before Becky regains control and nails Liv with a corner elbow. Becky hits a nice T-bone suplex and chops Liv down for a two. Becky heads up and Liv dodges, the women trading kicks before Liv hits a Codebreaker and Becky bounces off the ropes with her own hit to send us to picture-in-picture commercials including our first and only DoorDash ad of the night. I’ve missed you, DoorDash.

Becky tosses Liv to the outside and into the barricade. They fight around the ring before Liv tosses Becky over the announce table. Liv rolls in and Becky beats the count to get back in at 9. Liv rolls Becky up for a two and hits all Three Amigos. She nails an enziguri for another two as she starts to show frustration. Liv heads up top and Becky interrupts the Eddie tribute, knocking her to a sitting position and perplexing her and rolling it into a DDT for another two. Becky hooks the Disarmher and Liv rolls it into a two but Becky rolls it into a sitting position. Liv bites Becky’s leg and sets in a half crab. Becky crawls towards the ropes and rolls it into a one count, Liv getting the shoulder up.

Liv dropkicks Becky for a two and you can see her questioning what else she has to do to win this one. Liv kicks at Becky, Becky boots her tries for the Manhandle Slam before being distracted by Raquel walking down the aisle. Raquel hops on the apron to distract Carr and Rox appears to slam Becky into the turnbuckle. Liv grabs Becky and powerbombs her off the second rope for a near fall. The fans chant “Becky” as Liv tries for Oblivion and Becky rolls through. Becky hits the Manhandle and Raquel puts Liv’s foot on the rope to break the pin. Becky drops down onto Raquel and dodges Liv, booting her and heading up top. Rox gets on the apron to distract Carr and Raquel knocks Becky down again. Here’s WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer to pull Rox down as Carr turns around to see Raquel trying to slide Liv the title. Carr tosses Judgment Day and Liv charges at Stephanie, Carr holding her back. Becky tries to attack and nails Stephanie who comes in and attacks both of them. Vaquer hits both women with Meteoras repeatedly and asks for a mic. “That’s enough! Adam Pearce, come here now.” And he does. “I want both this Saturday.” Pearce sets a triple threat for Money in the Bank and Vaquer stacks Liv on Becky and corkscrew moonsaults onto them both. We end with Stephanie holding her gold high above Liv and Becky.

Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch wrestle to a no contest. A very good match. I would’ve preferred a clean finish but I get it and the triple threat will probably be really good.

A pretty good show tonight. SmackDown had been feeling like it was doing more to build to MITB than Raw after Raw got skipped in the qualifiers last week, but this one set the course back with a sea of tag team matches. Adequate to fine matches to mostly build to the ladder matches this week, but the big Bloodline-946 stuff for next week feels very big. I’m looking forward to that one.
