Why is WWE posting videos of its stars’ feet?
On October 26th, WWE posted a cryptic video showing only the feet of someone in smart shoes walking towards the camera. The video immediately sparked speculation online, with many fans wondering if Andrade El Idolo was making an unexpected comeback following his apparent dispute with WWE over his non-compete period.
Others were sure that the video was actually teasing the return of Gunther, who hasn’t been seen since losing the World Heavyweight Championship to CM Punk at SummerSlam. This belief stemmed from reports that The Ring General is going to be John Cena’s final opponent at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th.
The video was followed up by three more similar teases, all with very different feet in the frame, and now the truth has seemingly been revealed.

WWE’s Cryptic Videos Are Part Of WrestleMania 42 Campaign
According to a report by PWInsider, the videos are actually part of an advertising campaign for WrestleMania 42, which will take place in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 19th and 20th.
The report notes that Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes were part of filming for the videos. WrestleVotes confirmed the reporting, adding that the full promo is expected to be revealed later on October 27th.
It’s a WM42 promo and it’s expected to be revealed, in full, sometime later today.
