Brock Lesnar Appears To Retire After WrestleMania 42 Defeat

Brock Lesnar may have wrestled his final match following a decisive loss at WrestleMania 42.
Brock Lesnar was defeated in under five minutes by Oba Femi at night two of WrestleMania 42, who sealed the win with a pop-up powerbomb. After the match, Lesnar remained in the ring and appeared emotional, removing his gloves and boots in a moment that strongly suggested the end of his in-ring career.
Paul Heyman joined him in the ring, embracing Lesnar before the two shared a brief moment with the crowd. Lesnar then exited, walking to the back alongside Heyman.
The match itself saw Femi dominate early, overwhelming Lesnar before the former champion briefly rallied, hitting an F5. However, Femi quickly recovered, countering with a chokeslam before delivering the decisive powerbomb.
Lesnar’s career spans more than two decades, beginning with his rapid rise in WWE, where he defeated The Rock for the WWE Championship in 2002. After leaving in 2004, he transitioned to MMA and captured the UFC Heavyweight Championship before returning to WWE in 2012, where he remained a major attraction on the company’s biggest shows.
