AEW’s Rush Pulled From Upcoming PPV Due To Injury

By Conor Renshaw on 28 November 2025

AEW and ROH star Rush is out of action due to a knee injury.

Tony Khan announced via social media that Rush is not medically cleared to compete as a result of a knee injury. He has been pulled from his scheduled match at the ROH Final Battle pay-per-view on December 5, where he was set to face Bandido for the ROH World Championship.

Khan announced that Bandido will now face Sammy Guevara, Komander, Hechicero, Blake Christian, and The Beast Mortos in a Survival of the Fittest match at Final Battle. It has not yet been announced if Rush will vacate his ROH Tag Team Title, which he holds with Sammy Guevara, but Khan said in his update that the future of the Championship will be decided soon.

When Did Rush Last Wrestle In AEW?

Rush last wrestled for AEW on the November 15 episode of Collision, where he teamed with Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood, and Sammy Guevara against Bandido, Kevin Knight, and Mike Bailey.

Prior to the November 15 Collision, he competed on the October 15 Dynamite for the AEW World Trios Title, where he, Dralistico, and The Beast Mortos challenged Katsuyori Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Samoa Joe in a losing effort for the belts.
