AEW World & TNT Titles On The Line, Plus Huge Cage Match Set For Forbidden Door
By Conor Renshaw on 14 August 2025
“Hangman” Adam Page will defend his AEW World Title, Kyle Fletcher will put his TNT Championship, and NJPW president Hiroshi Tanahashi is in action in a massive ten-man cage match at Forbidden Door.
Adam Page will have his second AEW World Championship defence at Forbidden Door against MJF after the two had a face-to-face confrontation on last night’s Dynamite, which ended with Page riling MJF up so much by calling him a coward and demanding that he cash in his Casino Gauntlet title shot at Forbidden Door, and MJF agreed.
Kyle Fletcher’s TNT Championship will also be on the line at Forbidden Door, and he will face NJPW’s Hiromu Takahashi. After Fletcher defeated Tomohiro Ishii on Collision last week, he challenged NJPW to send their best to confront him on Dynamite, and last night on Dynamite, Fletcher teamed with The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander against Ishii, Hologram, Brody King, and the surprise entrance of Takahashi, who won the match for his team by pinning Alexander.
Besides The AEW Titles, What Other Match Was Set For Forbidden Door On Dynamite?
After Jon Moxley defeated Kevin Knight on Dynamite last night, Darby Allin came to the ring to attack Wheeler Yuta before Claudio Castagnoli came and laid out Allin. Then Will Ospreay entered to even the odds and took out Yuta and Castagnoli. The full lineup for the match was later revealed, and it will be Darby Allin, Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Kota Ibushi vs. Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Gabe Kidd, Matt and Nick Jackson.
