Wrestling Observer Flashbacks 1991

And so we come to the end of 1991, with the WWF slowly going into the crapper and WCW seemingly on the upswing.  Wrestling is a weird beast.

Welcome to the new era of steroid testing in the WWF, where everyone is now clean and the problem is solved forever!  I gotta say, the 80s were pretty rough as far as drug use went, but we made it out the other side with a comprehensive drug program so effective that you never again heard of any wrestler so much as abusing Tylenol.

Second try at this  Apparently I was REALLY tired last night due to generally being old as fuck and I actually fell asleep two paragraphs into writing it, which produced some very interesting material if nothing else.  So I scrapped it and did the Havoc repost this morning before work instead.

On a related note, I don’t really know who Gronk is aside from “he’s a player of the footballs” but his Monster Energy drink is AMAZING.  Perhaps he should specialize in that field instead.

OK, I signed up for New Japan World again tonight because they’re doing regular English commentary shows now, plus they also take Paypal now, so FUCK IT.  I HOPE YOU’RE ALL HAPPY. Hey, also, WWE is FINALLY coming back here to Saskatoon for the first time since 2011 next month!  I will actually get to see AJ Styles at a live event, which is a thing that I would not have predicted even a couple of years ago.
