Riyadh Airport Status Ahead Of WWE Crown Jewel 2026

WWE Crown Jewel 2026 remains scheduled for November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, despite ongoing security concerns following multiple Houthi attacks. According to the Wrestling Observer, Riyadh’s airport has reopened, although flight restrictions remain in place and several major sporting events have been postponed or cancelled. PWInsider reports that WWE has not discussed relocating Crown Jewel and continues to communicate with Saudi officials and private security agencies. However, separate reports suggest the company has a backup location in the United States. Two champion-versus-champion matches have been confirmed for the event, with World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns facing Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn, while Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan takes on WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green.

Wrestling Stars Power Street Fighter to Box Office Victory

The new Street Fighter movie topped the North American box office during its opening weekend, earning $31 million, according to Deadline. The figure falls short of the $38.5 million opening weekend achieved by Mortal Kombat 2. Based on Capcom’s popular video game franchise, Street Fighter features several professional wrestlers, including WWE stars Roman Reigns as Akuma and Cody Rhodes as Guile, alongside NJPW’s Hirooki Goto as E. Honda. The film follows Ryu and Ken Masters as they reunite to compete in the World Warrior Tournament, only to discover a sinister conspiracy orchestrated by M. Bison. The Street Fighter franchise began in 1987 and has since expanded into numerous video games, films, and television adaptations.

Dominik Mysterio Explains Why He Bypassed Full WWE NXT Run

Dominik Mysterio has revealed that his demanding WWE schedule prevented him from training at the Performance Center or following the traditional NXT development route. Speaking to The Undertaker on the Six Feet Under podcast, Mysterio explained that he was originally supposed to attend NXT classes while working on the main roster, but commitments across Raw, SmackDown, and live events made it impossible.

Instead, he learned through experience alongside established WWE stars, believing the opportunities provided valuable training. Mysterio made his in-ring debut against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2020, having previously appeared in WWE storylines as a child. He eventually competed in NXT, winning the North American Championship in just his second match on the brand and going on to hold the title twice in 2023.
