Update On Drew McIntyre’s WWE Return

WWE has reportedly begun discussing creative plans for Drew McIntyre’s return after several months away from television. According to WrestleVotes on Fightful Select, the four-time world champion could move from SmackDown to Raw, with WWE reportedly believing the red brand would benefit from his star power. McIntyre has been absent since losing an Unsanctioned Match to Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 42, where Fatu won after a toolbox attack and a Springboard Moonsault through a table. WWE previously had plans for McIntyre’s return in August, but those were scrapped following a change in creative direction. No confirmed return date has been revealed.

WWE Money in the Bank main event reportedly revealed

Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship defence against LA Knight is reportedly scheduled to headline WWE Money in the Bank on October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE initially planned to close the five-match premium live event with the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. That would have marked the first time since 2022 that a Money in the Bank ladder match had headlined the event. However, those plans have reportedly changed, with Reigns and Knight now expected to headline the main event. WWE has not officially confirmed the match order.

Lost 1995 WWF Backstage Footage Shot By Man Mountain Rock Set For Release This Month

Previously unreleased behind-the-scenes footage from a 1995 WWF tour is set to be released later this month, more than 30 years after it was filmed. Joe Dombrowski, an MLW and JCW commentator who operates Pro Wrestling Library, announced the upcoming release on X, revealing that a trailer will arrive next week. The footage is believed to have been recorded by Darryl Peterson during his final WWF tour in 1995. Peterson, who competed as Man Mountain Rock in WWF and Maxx Payne in WCW, captured the material using a camcorder. Dombrowski described the release as a story that has waited more than three decades to be told.
