Sunday Evening News Update – August 16, 2026

Happy Sunday evening to you all. We don’t have any major wrestling things happening tonight, but there are plenty of sports going on.

Our Blog writing team is excellent and I’m proud to be a part of the gang. This weekend, Niz has given us a triple threat of SmackDown, Collision and AAA reviews. Phred has gone back to the 2025 Champion Carnival from All Japan, Maffew continues his deep dive into 2000 WCW Worldwide (Tracy Smothers vs The Barbarian!!), and Megabucks continues to be Tooned In to the Masters of the Universe. I’d like to be tuned into the movie, but that 2.5 hour run time is intimidating me.
