Lola Vice Bids Emotional Farewell to NXT
Lola Vice appears to be headed to WWE’s main roster following Tuesday’s episode of NXT. After unsuccessfully challenging Kendal Grey for the NXT Women’s Championship in an Underground Match, Vice left her gloves in the ring and embraced her family at ringside. Damian Priest then joined her in the ring, where Vice thanked the NXT fans, reflected on her four-year journey in WWE, and praised Grey as “the future of the industry.” Vice debuted in NXT in 2022 after transitioning from MMA and is a former NXT Women’s Champion, having held the title for 85 days before losing it to Grey.
Sheamus Rebrands His YouTube Channel After WWE Departure
Sheamus has rebranded his YouTube channel from Celtic Warrior Workouts to S. Farrelly Workouts, aligning it with the professional name he is now using following his WWE departure. The channel description has also been updated to remove WWE references, while retaining his long-time “Brave Change” slogan, which is reportedly set to become the name of a new series. The rebrand comes after Sheamus declined a reduced WWE contract offer and is expected to become a free agent in October, ending a run with the company that began in 2006.
Conor McGregor gives health update after undergoing surgery
Conor McGregor has undergone successful surgery to repair a torn ACL and meniscus suffered during his UFC 329 return against Max Holloway, saying afterwards: “Surgery went excellent. I am confident.” The injury occurred just seconds into the bout, forcing the fight to be stopped after only 69 seconds. McGregor remains optimistic about returning to the Octagon next summer for the final fight on his current UFC contract, despite UFC CEO Dana White previously suggesting he could be sidelined for a year.
