Well, there you go. A lot of us had Jey Uso winning this through Lesnar-ference, but we clearly read the situation incorrectly because I would assume we’re getting the first ever meeting between Roman Reigns and Oba Femi at Summerslam. I thought Jey was solid here and threw everything he could at Femi, but Femi just will not be denied when he smells blood. A solid opener. 3.5*
Winner AND 2026 WWE King Of The Ring – Oba Femi (Fall From Grace)
Smackdown GM Nick Aldis hands Femi the crown, and Byron Saxton wants a word. Femi says Uso thought he was just fighting one man tonight, but you can’t beat Fate or Destiny, and you definitely cannot beat Femi. Femi says he’s One of One, and you know what, go off, young man. Femi hits the pose while holding the crown.
Here’s Danhausen to say that he’s enjoyed his visit to the Kingdom, and his newly won substantial amount of HUMAN MONIES…and here’s “Trouble” bringing out WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan. Morgan says Danhausen owes the Judgement Day money and if he doesn’t pay up, bad things are going to happen. Danhausen CURSES Morgan who slaps him in response.

Morgan ascends and yanks Sky up but it ends up with Sky hitting a Spanish Fly before ascending for the Over the Moonsault that finishes things.
I’m not the biggest Liv Morgan fan but she got through this with her trademark brand of goofy offense. I though IYO really did a nice job of selling and working from underneath while Morgan tossed whatever she could think of at Sky. There were some transition issues and not everything was clean but the crowd was into it and enjoyed Sky’s win. Sky selling the knee the whole way but then just ignoring it to get to the finish kind of threw me off a bit, but this was still decent overall. 3.25*
Winner AND 2026 Queen of the Ring – IYO Sky (Over the Moonsault)
Byron Saxton asks Sky how it feels to win the crown and Sky says she is THE QUEEN before telling Morgan that she’ll see her at Summerslam. I like that we just got that out of the way right now, so kudos to creative for picking a direction and getting going with it.
Cole and Graves introduce the Arabic announce team who are predictably stoked for the event.

It’s escape rules as always. Rollins tosses a bunch of kendo sticks, some chairs, and two tables into the cage before Breakker’s entrance even begins. Yeah, I mean, a lot of us called this result in the preview and while I’ll never agree with this booking, I assume Rollins-Reigns is on the table for Summerslam for one of the main events depending on what they want to do with Oba Femi as King of the Ring. They went for epic here and I don’t think they got there. 3*

I don’t think many of us thought Saints was winning here but I guess he gave it all he has. Trick did what he could here but the crowd was mostly on their phones for a lot of this. Trick needs better dance partners than this. We could have done better here, is what I’m saying. 2.5*

Stratton hits the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and that ends things.
We all called “overbooked nonsense” for this one and I think we were right. This never really got anywhere near great and barely scratched good for me, sadly. The crowd didn’t seem to care all that much and the match itself was clunky as heck. The overbooking saved it a bit at the end so they could get some highlights for the package, but you don’t need to seek this one out. 2.5*

There were some folks who thought this might happen. I was not one of them. I expect there will be a lot of banter about this result in the upcoming days and we’ll see how this plays out for Summerslam, but I am legit shocked at this result. Does that make it a good result? Zayn is a long-timer, and this will be his reward for that, but it’s really interesting to see what Hunter feels like he can get away with now knowing that the brand moves the tickets. 3*
Winner AND NEW WWE Men’s Undisputed Champion – Sami Zayn (roll up)
Zayn retreats up the ramp as GUNTHER and Rhodes look on in disbelief. Zayn predictably gets a huge pop from the Saudi crowd as the pyro goes off behind him. The credits roll as Zayn takes it all in before yelling that he’s been trying to win this title for ten years and finally accomplished it. Zayn celebrates with the crowd and we fade to black.
The opener was the best match of the evening, and everything else was what it was. The main event was a spectacle with a wildly unpredictable ending, but Hunter tried this kind of move with Jey Uso to mixed results, so we’ll see how this Zayn thing goes. This kind of tells me that it will be Roman-Oba Femi at Summerslam while perhaps we run this exact match back on the Smackdown side. I guess we’ll see. I’d call this show skippable but watchable if you choose to take it in.
Thanks for reading and commenting. Enjoy your evening.
