WWE Announces Logan Paul Suffered Injury At SNME, Will Be Out For Extended Period

Logan Paul has reportedly suffered a torn triceps following Saturday Night’s Main Event, but the WWE World Tag Team Championship will remain with The Vision faction. The injury was announced during WWE Raw after Paul and Austin Theory successfully defended the titles against The Street Profits with help from Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker. In a backstage segment on Raw, Theory attempted to relinquish the championships due to Paul’s injury, but Heyman revealed that a clause in The Vision’s contract allows the faction to continue defending the titles collectively. As a result, Breakker will now defend the championships alongside Theory, marking his first title reign since losing the Intercontinental Championship in April 2025.

WWE Announces Two Clash In Italy Matches For ESPN

WWE has confirmed the two matches set to air during the ESPN broadcast portion of WWE Clash in Italy. Announced on Monday Night Raw, the opening hour will feature Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther, while Rhea Ripley will defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill in a WrestleMania rematch. WWE previously revealed that the first hour of the event would air on ESPN.

Lucha Libre Veteran Dies During Match

Mexican wrestling veteran José Calzada Salazar, known as Road Pilot and “The Suicide Pilot,” has tragically died following an in-ring accident at Arena Internacional in Ciudad Juárez. According to multiple Mexican media reports, including Record.com, the 56-year-old suffered a fatal injury while attempting a high-risk dive from the top rope during a match on Sunday. Salazar reportedly landed heavily on the concrete floor and struck his head after the move went wrong. Emergency responders arrived shortly after 9 p.m., but officials stated he died instantly after breaking his neck in the fall.

Authorities later evacuated and sealed the venue while forensic investigators collected evidence, with reports noting the building owner was unable to immediately provide operating permits or a contingency plan. Salazar had built a reputation on the independent wrestling scene for his fearless style, and several wrestling figures, including Christopher Daniels, have since paid tribute following his passing.

Mick Foley: ‘I Am So Genuinely Happy To Be Part Of AEW’

Mick Foley has reflected positively on his surprise AEW debut at AEW Double or Nothing, saying he is “genuinely happy” to be part of the company. Foley appeared during the Zero Hour pre-show at Louis Armstrong Stadium alongside Renee Paquette and later shared an in-ring segment with MJF that ended with MJF delivering a low blow following a verbal confrontation about his recent loss to Darby Allin. After the show, Foley posted on Instagram praising the event and expressing pride in contributing to the broadcast.

AEW president Tony Khan later confirmed Foley has signed an extended creative and broadcast-related deal with the company rather than appearing as a one-off guest. Khan also revealed that Foley and Paquette are expected to become a regular on-screen pairing moving forward. Foley’s WWE Legends contract is reportedly set to expire in June 2026.
