Rey Mysterio heading to Saudi Arabia for WWE Royal Rumble weekend

After an injury scare on Monday’s Raw that saw WWE officials throw up the ‘X’ for Mysterio following his match with Austin Theory, it was uncertain if the WWE Hall of Famer would be able to compete at the Royal Rumble on Saturday. However, just a few hours ago, Mysterio shared a photo of himself on a plane with Dragon Lee and Penta, tagging his location as Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, confirming that he will be in the Kingdom for the Rumble.

Former WWE Champion Hospitalised

Former WWE Champion Braun Strowman announced that he was hospitalised on Monday night due to a knee infection that he says “came out of nowhere”. Thankfully, the former Universal Champion seems to be doing well and is in good spirits, sharing a photo of himself in his hospital bed on Instagram.

Vince and Linda McMahon Push Back Against Ring Boy Plaintiffs’ Anonymity in Federal Lawsuit

Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon have formally asked a Maryland federal judge to deny a request from former WWF ring boys to remain anonymous in their sexual abuse lawsuit, arguing that pseudonyms would hinder their ability to defend the case during discovery. The plaintiffs, seven men now in their 50s, allege abuse by former ring announcer Mel Phillips and accuse the McMahons of negligence, claims they deny. The court is not expected to rule until after February 6, with the decision potentially impacting how similar cases are handled in future.

WWE Announces The Signing Of Fahd Tuwaiq

WWE has signed Saudi Arabian powerlifter and arm wrestler Fahad Sahli, who will compete under the name Fahd Tuwaiq, which WWE trademarked back in December. The signing of Sahli was endorsed by the Chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, who has played a major role in WWE’s growing presence in the Kingdom and was heavily involved in getting WrestleMania 43 to take place in Saudi Arabia.
