Mercedes Moné Shuts Down WWE Return Talk With Blunt Reply

Mercedes Mone shut down a fans comment asking her to return to WWE on Instagram. The fan commented on one of the TBS Champion’s Instagram posts with “needa bring yo fine ass back to wwe” and she bit back with “imma need your ugly ass to watch AEW”. Ouch!

Will Ospreay Out Of AEW With Injury As Former Tag Champ Also Injured

In other AEW news, Will Ospreay is out with a legitiamte injury back injury as he announced on last night’s Dynamite that he is dealing with herniated C2 and C6 discs, and later Dave Meltzer confirmed that his injury is legitimate and not just part of the storyline. Also, Colten Gunn picked up an injury on last Saturday’s Collision and this was confirmed last night on Dynamite. It is currently unknown what injury Gunn suffered or when he’ll be back in action.

AEW World Championship Match Announced For Next Week’s AEW Dynamite In Chicago

Also on last night’s Dynamite, “Hangman” Adam Page laid out a challenge to Jon Moxley to face him on next week’s Dynamite for the AEW World Title. This came after The Death Riders beat down Mark Briscoe, following his main event win over Claudio Castagnoli, and Moxley took to the mic to proclaim that Page isn’t truly the AEW World Champion yet. This brought out Page who issued the challenge to Moxley and didn’t take no for an answer.

AEW Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament Kicks Off, First Team Advances

The eight-team AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament kicked off last night on Dynamite with the first quarter final match taking place and saw FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) defeat JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey) to advance to the semi finals. The winning team of the eliminator tournament will challenge current AEW Tag Team Champs The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shleton Benjamin) for their title at Forbidden Door next month.
