Goldberg Is Retired In Principle, Can’t Rule Out Doing More

WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg, who just had his retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event last weekend, has stated that while he is retired “in principle”, he can’t rule out the possibility of stepping back into the ring in the future. Goldberg said that no one is ever truly retired in the wrestling business until they die, and given the likes of Terry Funk, Ric Flair, Terry Funk, and Shawn Michaels with their “retirement matches”, it’s a pretty accurate statement.

AJ Styles Teased For TNA Slammiversary

AJ Styles could be making his TNA return for the first time in over a decade, as it has been teased on social media that Styles could be making his return to the promotion. Anthem Sports Group President Carlos Silva posted on social media about how they are adding more seats to the venue for Slammiversary due to high ticket demand, and ended his post by stating, “This event will be TNA’s greatest achievement and trust me it’s going to be PHENOMENAL.” With the “PHENOMENAL” statement seemingly a clear nod at AJ Styles and his possible return to TNA.

The Undertaker Set To Appear On Upcoming Episode Of NXT

The Deadman is coming to NXT as he is set to confront TNA World Champion Trick Williams on July 22 in Houston, Texas. Williams confronted The Undertaker’s WWE LFG team on last night’s episode of NXT in a backstage segment, which prompted The Phenom to take to social media to state that he would be coming to NXT next week to go face-to-face with Williams. Undertaker’s appearance for next week was officially announced later on the show.

Hangman Page To Open AEW Dynamite Following World Title Victory

Following “Hangman” Adam Page’s AEW World Title win in a Texas Death Match against Jon Moxley at All In on Saturday, Tony Khan announced that he will be in attendance on tonight’s episode of Dynamite to address the fans following his title win. Khan said that Page will open Dynamite with his address, and then will be in the main event as he teams with Powerhouse Hobbs and Mark Briscoe to take on Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta.
