Shawn’s injured back

Hey Scott,
As one of the last original internet guys I feel like you have a responsibility to the youth to kill all wwe propaganda. And for me the biggest one is “Shawn Michaels injured back.”
Can we stop saying Shawn was “retired” for 4 years due to a bad back that was miraculously healed by the hands of God? Can we instead say the guy had a massive drug problem? Everyone who gets weepy over the miracle of summerslam 2002 forgets that he was supposed to wrestle HHH at wrestlemania 17.
It’s amazing how everyone believes the career ending back story when just a year earlier he had a career ending knee injury, on top of all the other career ending injuries that came up when it was time to drop a title. So please Scott, won’t somebody think of the children?

A Shawn Michaels truther now?

Two things:

1. No one argues that the knee injury wasn’t real. Just that it was gonna be 4-6 week’s recovery time and not the career ending retirement sentence that he claimed.

2. I’m not his doctor but I’m pretty sure he had spinal fusion surgery around 1999, which would indicate it was a real back injury.

But he certainly did enjoy drugs.
