Hi Scott. I think great matches, like great movies, have scenes or sequences that stand out. One of my all time favorite match sequences was in that Flair/Vader match at Starrcade, where Flair, having the living shit beaten out of him all match…bloody mouth and all, and looking finished finally snaps. Vader has him by the hand and wrist and shit talking him and Flair finally goes “dirtiest player in the game,” and pokes him in the eye. Then proceeds to unload with live rounds of his own and finally is able to get the monster down. And after this surge, he nearly passes out from exhaustion from the beating and the rally.
Perfect.
