Vince’s favorite “child”?

Given the rumors that Triple H is having NXT effectively taken away from him, it occurred to me Paul Levesque is just the latest “McMahon” to fail Vince.
He/we shouldn't have been surprised. Vince's actual children didn't live up to their father's expectations and vision for his company.
So I'm wondering – which of Vince's “kids” missed the mark the most? Who do you think he is most pleased with? (I guess you could include Johnny Ace or Bruce in this discussion).
P.S. – I know the correct answer is “Vince's favorite child is WWE. Period.” This question is focused on his actual family.
I think Shane is really the one that Vince wanted to be his replacement and it just never worked out that way. I think he’s most pleased with Steph by comparison.
