So much fluff

Smackdown would be a GREAT 45 minute show, since around 30 minutes are good and worthwhile (and something HAPPENS). But all the fluff (endless commercials and shilling, looong entrances) makes it feel BLOATED and just too long. Haven't watched an entire RAW in ages but can imagine it's similar. These TV shows are just all sizzle, small steak

Hot take, I know. But after going down to 2 million viewers, how about changing up the format and showing MORE CONTENT WITHIN TWO/THREE FREAKING HOURS??? say what you want about Russo but at least you got SOMETHING during two hours, not just half an hour of real content

The recaps and self-fellating video packages drive me nuts, which is why I can't even review Smackdown anymore. It's fine if it's recapping something that happened a couple of weeks ago or last week, where it's germane to bringing to the viewer up to speed on the storyline. What really grinds my gears is when they constantly recap stuff that happened EARLIER IN THE SHOW just in case their meth-addled audience can't remember stuff that occurred ten minutes previous. That's why you have ANNOUNCERS. Something happened on Superstars back in the day and Vince and Jesse would bring it up again later in the show, offer their opinion on it, and then talk about something else.
