Flair vs. Dr. Death at Starrcade 87

If JCP had done an actual UWF invasion & built up to Flair vs. Dr. Death unification match at Starrcade 87, in Greensboro, would it have been a good match, and better product leading up to it?
No and no. Williams was kind of garbage in the ring at that point and the UWF title was basically worthless. If you're gonna go that route, then have Williams drop the title to Flair in advance of the show and then build up Flair getting his rematch with Garvin as a title unification match maybe. Or jettison Garvin entirely and have Windham win the UWF title beforehand, and then do Flair-Windham to unify the titles at Starrcade, which would be your great match and probably do better business. Either way I don't think having the UWF title involved means much of anything because Crockett had gutted the territory anyway and turned the entire crew into jobbers. Good thing no one else would ever make that kind of stupid mistake again!
