I was reading something online today about how Bruce
Prichard wishes The Higher Power had been someone else to give Austin and Vince
someone to fight against for awhile instead of just continuing with Austin Vs.
Vince. If his contract situation had allowed him to jump earlier, how do
you think Jericho would have done as THP? With the benefit of hindsight, we know
now that he can pull off many different characters. At the time though, would
the fans have bought him as THP or would it have been too much of a jump from
The Conspiracy Victim for them to accept?

Noooo. Wouldn't have worked at all in that role. Maybe Flair if he could have swung the release. Or mid-life crisis Macho Man might have been pretty cool.
