Billy Graham, AWA 1983

Hi Scott,
Just wondering: After Graham lost the title to Backlund in '83, it looks like he went over to AWA.
Considering how hot he was at that point, why wasn't he programed right into the main event? Hogan was still there and if there was ever a dream match, 1983 Hulk vs. Superstar would've been it.

Graham kind of went insane and changed his whole look and gimmick, to the point where whatever value he had as a main event guy was gone. Plus he was wasn't really dependable at that point. Just wasn't a viable option.
