Cruiserweight Division

> Is there any surprise that WWE would immediately kill of the Cruiserweights by having them work WWE style and utilizing WWE booking? The whole reason why weight classes work in UFC is because the smaller fighters have a faster paced, more action packed fight than the heavier weight classes. Nobody is going to care about smaller guys doing chinlocks for seven minutes then one dive when the main eventers who are already over do the exact same stuff. Essentially the Cruiserweight Division is the new Divas Division but with purple ropes.

I believe that to be an accurate summation, yes. They kind of spent years training fans away from the notion of bigger and smaller guys and now it just looks like a bunch of skinny jobbers if you didn’t see the CWC shows. If they had Ibushi or someone else with real star power out there representing the division it would be one thing, but 40 year old Kendrick and video game geek Perkins aren’t exactly Rey Mysterio and Dean Malenko.
