WWE Network curiosity

Hi Scott, I hope all’s well.

My question is: do you know why a WWE video release may or may not be available on the network? I was recently looking for a long ago DVD release on Rob Van Dam called One of a Kind but it doesn’t seem to be on there.

It got me wondering if some releases are too old to be on there, which I told myself makes no sense b/c everything’s on there, or if it’s simply something relating to content rights, lack of sales, or just discarding them from the digital treatment for some other reason. I could also include something like the Best of Confidential dvd not being on there (unless I missed it).

If you have any knowledge on it, I’d be interested to read it. Thanks for your time.

​Everything in theory COULD go on there, because the whole library of Coliseum videos was converted to digital for WWE 24/7 back in the day, but it’s just a matter of whether they want to or not. I can’t see putting a random RVD DVD up on the Network as a priority for them, but stranger things have gone up. Usually whatever they can put quick and easy, ie., without having to scrub music or commentary from, is the first stuff to go up. ​Really, it’ll probably go up eventually, since pretty much everything will in the long run.
